Gauraa: Thank you sir for answering my previous questions….. Sir….can you please elaborate a bit….that if I say no god is there like only positive vibes and negative vibes do occur in this world….and as we are made up of the matter largely from the positive vibes and a bit from the negative matters(negative vibes or matter- I meant from the vikara that originate because of the senses…. jis prakar janam lene par aatma sharir ke madhyam se bhotik vilaas me padkar kukarm krti bina is baat kaa bodh hue) to as we are made up of that positive matter, that is god like if we are made up out of god only…….so we are punished if don’t work according to our nature (that is mostly or wholly related to godly matter) we are punished….not by anyone else but by ourselves only….our senses first let us enjoy and than to balance these senses punish us…..???? Is it like this???? Is this possible to neglect the world or worldly matters (related to the enjoyment which we get by our Ill will)…….or agar hum us positive matter Jo ki parmtma hai agar hmaari awaaj hmaare paas wale insaan ko sunaayi deti hai so is his possible to send our feelings or message to a distant person just by doing dhyana or concentrating upon that matter…..why vrats or sadhnas always needed to archive something superficial…..can’t it be happened without these things just by making the ora or our surrounding very positive…can we be very cheerful person …chahey kuch pass ho yaa naa can’t we spread this cheerfulness everywhere…..sorry people call me a bit stupid ……….is this possible ? Should we neglect murti puja completely…..mera bhgwaan mere dil me basta hai main us murti ko kyu puju Jo hjaar dushkrm krneywalo ka apney chadhave se paalti hai…. kya Madhya badla jaa sakta hai puja ka…..kya isshwar kuchh nahi bad gyan hai?….. ego cyan jisey milney par apney praye sukh dukh jivan mrityu Sab nitarthak ho jatey hain?…..I oppose worldly matter strictly …try to practice displine of indriyas a lot…. it works for two to three days in a month when I feel so strengthened inside me nothing affects …….I feel a lot of happiness but suddenly it disaapears……..I meditate and do yoga since childhood………these are my personal experiences if possible bhai please do not publish them on your page……….something happens with in me……..I feel very empty I love my mothera lot but wwhenever this happens s I don’t feel attachment …..for anyone although I do everything possible to make them happy but don’t feel any attachment I feel love for them but it seems like ki I can live my mum a or anyone else on this earth…as since my childhood I even sleep with my mum a cannot sleep without her…………I do not want to impose my thoughts to anyone but I try to tell my mum a what happens or what kind of feeling I do experience…I know I may not be normal sometimes even to myself so how can be for others……people must have done a lot strange things with me don’t feel anger for them I love them and talk them lovingly ……I seriously don’t know what’s wrong with me…..why that liberalisation does not come to me…… please mujhey btaayein keval marg dikhaayein chlaungi main khud….ki Jo shakti gyan prem main Apney bhagwaan ke liye.. have in those two or three days kyaa usko constant kaisey karu………. I want to practice rigorous dhyana …..I even try but cannot sustain it…for longer.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. You are welcome, please. If positive and negative waves are occurring in this world then the base/reason of the same should also exist because without controlling the waves such occurrence cannot take place because there exists some reason of the occurrence. The said fundamental law is mentioned in Nyaya Shastra of Gautam Rishi. Vikaar also takes place from its reason. For example if it is raining then sure some reason exists for raining.

Beti janam lena bhi apne aap sambhav nahi aur isee prakar apne aap hamara shareer banna bhi sambhav nahi hai. Ek jeevatma kis shareer mein aakar sukh uthatee hai to doosree jeevatma bahut dukh uthati hai, phir pratyek pranni ke Jeevan mein kabhi sukh aur dukh aaytey hain to yeh sub apne aap nahi ho sakta. Iska control Parmeshwar ke hath mein hai parantu hamein Parmeshwar ke divya gunn bhi samajhne honge. Parmehswar mein anant gunn hain, parantu kuchh gunn yeh hain ki Parmeshwar nirakar, Almighty, omnipresent, creates nurses and destroys the universe etc., He is the lord of prakriti made universe and souls. Isliye Parmeshwar achchhey burey karmon ke adhar par jeevatma ko manushya pashu pakshi aadi kee yoni deta hai, yeh sub chharon vedon mein kaha gaya hai. Vedon mein Ishwar ke gunnon mein yeh gunn bhi vishesh taur par kaha gaya hai ki parmeshwar pakshpaat rahit hai aur supreme judge hai, isliye yeh keh dena ki insaan (soul) wahi achchha bura kaam karta hai jo Parmeshwar usey karata hai, to aisa kehna bilkul jhoot hai. Aisa kehne se to Ishwar pakshpaat rakhne wala aur injustice (anyay) karne wala siddh hoga jub ki God ke yeh gunn hain nahi .

Yadi God hee humse paap karata hai tub hum manushyon ka kya dosh parantu hamein yad rahe ki Yajurved mantra 7/48 mein spasht updesh hai ki jeevatma karmanusar janam leta hai, manushya yoni mein manushya (jeevatma) achchha, bura, punnya athwa paap karne mein azaad hai lekin achchhey bure karma ka phal krmashaha sukh aur dukh Ishwar deta hai. Secondly, we (souls) and God both are alive, immortal and eternal matters. It means that we and God are not made from any matter and further no matter can be made either from soul or from God. Therefore souls and God, both do not have any parents. See there is a fundamental law that when a matter is made then it will be destroyed one day definitely. Therefore whole universe which is made from prakriti comes to an end in final destruction but not we (souls) and Almighty God. However, human-bodies and even all living being’s bodies which are made of prakriti are being seen destroyed within a stipulated time. I paste my articles below:-

Three eternal and everlasting matters:-

Several persons explain its meaning that there is only on God and nothing else i.e., except God there is nothing. They tell that there is neither prakriti nor soul and not even the creation which is being seen. Learned of Vedas do not accept it.

Eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God only preaches “Traitvad”. In Traitwad, there exist three matters:

(1) God(Ishwar)
(2) Souls( Jeev)
(3) Prakriti(Prakriti)

God and souls are alive whereas Prakriti is non-alive matter.

From Prakriti, all the matters of universe are created. But neither from God nor soul any matter is created. Soul can never be God being unchangeable and God can also never be soul being unchangeable. Soul due to the attraction towards prakriti is indulged in illusion and forgets his original form of immortal peace, purity etc. and has to face the birth and death again and again.

But Almighty being the commander of the souls and prakriti, is never attracted towards prakriti. He always remains purified. So, God cannot forget his original form and is never indulged in any kind of illusion. Therefore, everything like tree, tube light, stone, electric fan are made of prakriti and hence can never be God.

So, the meaning of Eko Brahma Dweetya na Asti will be, there is only one God equivalent to whom no other God exists. Besides this, Yajurveda mantra 27/36 states-‘Na Jataha Na janishyate’ i.e., there is only one Formless, Almighty, immortal God and equivalent to this, neither any other God was born, nor shall be born.

“CREATION”

The creation is eternal and automatic. There is no date of creation of the following:
(A) Almighty God who is alive, immortal, formless, creates, nurses and destroys the universe. He never indulges in any maya, mahamaya, illusion and deeds (good or bad. Yajurveda Mantra 40/8 and Yog shastra Sutra 1/26 also refer)

(B) Soul: Soul is alive, the purest, away from sins etc. but illusion covers the soul due to which soul forgets his original form and hence remains in sorrows, problems etc.

C) Prakriti: Non-alive and has three qualities. i.e., Raj, tam, Satva. At a proper time, the power of God acts in prakriti and the universe is created. So the creation is eternal and automatic.

Raj, Tam and Satva are the three qualities of prakriti. When the said gunnas remain idle dormant i.e., do not work, then combination of these three gunnas(qualities) in dormant stage is called prakriti and this time is called “final destruction” of the universe. When an appropriate time comes, the creation is to be started again. Then the power of God works in the above three gunnas i.e., in the prakriti and immediately the creation starts. Rajo gunn is a sign of sensuousness etc., Tamo gunn signifies laziness and sato gunn signifies ego, pride. Our human body is also made of the said three gunnas.

Vedas tell that there are three eternal/immortal matters- first: Almighty God, second: souls, third: prakriti. Almighty God creates, nurses and destroys the universe and again creates it. The said process of creation is eternal/immortal/everlasting. Almighty God creates the universe from prakriti. When the raj, tam and satva gunnas of prakriti remain idle (dormant condition/inactive) then creation does not take place. At an appropriate time, a power of Almighty God acts in prakriti (i.e., in Raj, tam and satva gunnas). Immediately the process of creation starts and the first matter of prakriti is made which is called –Mahat i.e., mind; from Mahat- ahankar is made, from ahankar panch (5) tan matrayein, from panch (5) tanmatrayein, panch (5) mahabhoot are created. From panch mahabhoot, the entire matter of universe i.e., Sun, Moon air, water, our bodies, bodies of other living beings etc., are created. The whole creation is thus created from prakriti and remains still (in active) like a statue. This creation is called non-sexual creation. In the said creation, the young human bodies are created which are neither old nor babies. Then by the power of God, in the said bodies, breathing system (prann vaayu) starts operating. At last, God enters into the universe and immediately all the humans and other living beings become alive and start functioning. Similarly, the non-alive matters like Sun, moon, earth, air, water etc., start their respective functions.

Creation, Science, worldly matters etc., is not possible until the same is created by someone. Secondly, knowledge is attained when knowledge is imparted by someone.

Rigved mantra 10/129/ 1-6 throw light about creation that at that time, there was nothing and no living beings did exist. So there was no learned acharya who could give the knowledge to the newly created living beings like parents who educate the children to make them able to speak language and to know about the matters like crow, animals, chapati, ghee, sun, moon i.e., all matters of the world. See, if a newly born baby is managed to live in dense jungle and nursed well but he is not given education about the worldly matters etc. i.e., mathematics, science, animals, sun, moon etc., then even at the young age of 20-25, 30 years, he will not be able to speak any language and when he will be brought out of the cave of dense jungle and will be asked about the sun, moon, animals, birds before him, then he will not be able to reply because he was not given the said knowledge.

When we see towards sun, moon, air, space, human body etc. It is clearly understood that the said creation has not been made by any human being but Almighty God, from whom the knowledge of four Vedas emanates. In Vedas, the knowledge right from straw to Brahma has been mentioned. So in the beginning of non-sexual earth, the Vedas originated in the heart of four rishis: Agni, Vaayu, Aditya and Angira, and from the rishis the knowledge of science, deeds and worship along with every matter is being given to the public by which the public became educated scientist and wrote books, etc.

In Vedas as well as in fourth chapter of Yog Shastras of Rishi Patanjali, it is mentioned that those who do not believe in God are provided more and more facilities by nature and such people get spoiled etc.

On the contrary those who worship God, they naturally try to kill their desires and accordingly under the law, nature, help them to follow the true path to realize the God.

God (Ishwar)

Though at present, according to the views of the present saints, there is – Advaitwad, Vishisht Advaitwad, Dvaitwad but eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God only preaches “Traitvad”. In Traitwad, there exist three matters:

1. God (Ishwar)
2. Souls (Jeev)
3. Prakriti (Prakriti)

God and souls are alive whereas Prakriti is non-alive matter.

Advaitwad was introduced 1,220 years ago by Shankaracharya. Vishisht Advaitwad about 935 years ago by Ramanujacharya and Dvaitwad was introduced about 809 years ago by Madhvacharya.

However, it will have to be considered deeply that Traitwad mentioned in Vedas is eternal as knowledge of Vedas emanates direct from God and not by any Rishi, Muni, Yogi, man, woman, saint, satguru etc. So Traitwad is not man made but it is God–made.

In the present scenario, certainly it has become a problem to define God so as to worship Him. In this connection, one thing is clear that God creates the universe so His creation cannot imagine or create its own God. God creates living beings’ bodies wherein only human beings are entitled to worship God. The mind of human beings is made of Prakriti. So, mind is creation and human mind cannot make or imagine its own God.

Secondly, if a person goes to an unknown place where nobody knows him then it is necessary that the person will have to introduce himself there. Without his introduction none will be either able to know him or imagine/create his (person’s) name, nature, qualities, identity etc., themselves. I mean to say that to know about the God, the above quoted two points are not applicable then WHO WILL KNOW THE GOD?

Answer is he whom the God, Himself makes able to know, he only can know the God. Now, question arises is there any provision where God introduces Himself and to whom? Answer is Yes, if an aspirant desires to know the God, strives hard in his path and studies all the religious books of the world then it would be revealed that the answer of the above two points (God is not imagined by anyone and not made known by any person) is given in Vedas for example Rigved Mandal 10, Sukta 181 that in the beginning of every creation, the knowledge of four Vedas is originated in the heart of four Rishis by the God only wherein God Himself introduces Him. The said process is eternal and automatic.

Now, it will be a vast topic to explain about creation which has already been explained several times in my other books and in this book as well. Here, it is stated that God has introduced Himself in Four Vedas about His divine names, deeds, power, nature, worship, qualities, etc.

For example, God in Samved mantra 265 states-

(ANDHASAHA MADESHU) i.e., he who is the reason to generate divine food i.e., spiritualism and divine pleasure. (MAHA) the greatest (VICHETSAM) alive and having unlimited knowledge (SHAKINAM) Almighty (INDRANAM NAAM) whose name is Indra.

God states further in the above mantra that Oh! Man and Woman (GIRA ABHI GAYA) you eulogise and worship the said God with your voice. (YATHA) according to (SHRUTYAM) Vedas’ (VACHAHA) divine voice.

Meaning: He who is the reason to generate divine food i.e., spiritualism and divine pleasure for those who worship Him. Who is the greatest in universe, alive and having unlimited knowledge, who is Almighty and whose name is Indra, Oh! Man and woman, you eulogies and worship the said God with your voice according to Vedas’ divine voice.

Idea: Samved is considered the greatest Ved amongst the four Vedas. This Ved mainly states about the eternal worship of God wherein Yajyen, name jaap of God, Ashtang Yog Philosophy has been mentioned. Hence, in this mantra also Almighty God tells the human beings to worship the God whose divine qualities, power and nature has been mentioned in the Vedas.

That is why, God stresses in this mantra that Oh! Human being describes eulogies/chant about the God exactly as has been mentioned in the Vedas.

Though the names and the qualities of Almighty God as per Rigved mantra 1/164/46 are unlimited but some of His qualities are mentioned below:
(1) He creates, nurses and destroys the universe,
(2) Atharvaved Kand 13, Sukta 4, Prayaye 6, mantra 16 states that God is one for whole universe. Mantra further states, there are not 2, 3 or 4 Gods, He is only one.

YAJURVED MANTRA 40/8:

“SA PRAYYAGAACHHUKRAMKAYAMVRANNAMSNAVIRAM SHUDHAMPAAPVIDHAM.
KAVIRMANISHI PARIBHUHU SWAYAMBHURYATHATATHYATOARTHAN VYADDHACHHSHVATIBHYAHA SAMAABHYAHA”

Yajurved mantra 40/8 states that God is “SHUKRAM” Almighty, “AKAYAM” i.e., bodiless, so does not take birth, “AVRANNAM” hole less and can not be converted into any part, so soul is also not a part of God, “ASNAVIRAM” i.e., without nervous system, etc., “APAAPVIDHAM” sinless and does not love to those who are sinners, “PARI + AGAAT i.e., omnipresent, “KAVIHI” omniscient, “MANISHIHI” knows thoughts of every soul “PARIBHUHU” who keeps behind the culprits/sinners “SWAYAMBHUHU” who is eternal/beyond death and birth/has no father, mother etc.,

“SHAASHVATIBHYAHA SAMABHYAH” for eternal living beings, “YATHATATHYATAH” with truth, “ARTHAN” gives knowledge of all through Vedas, “VYADADHAAT” preaches, “SAH” He is God.

All Vedas like Yajurveda mantra 31/7 clarify that knowledge of Vedas emanates direct from God at the beginning of universe. So the qualities quoted above in respect of adorable Almighty God are also eternal, unchangeable, and true. Conclusion of the mantra will automatically state that God never takes birth etc. so avtarvad is not possible please. I also paste an article of mine on avtarvad for your knowledge.

As regards karmas Yajurved mantra 7/48 states that we are free to do pious deeds or sins but result is awarded in happiness or sorrows respectively by God. One must not depend on anybody that somebody will come to give salvation. The dignitaries like Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Mata Sita etc., did hard deeds without wasting a second. So we must also follow their path to do the hard work towards right path.

“ TADEVAGNISTADADITYASTADVAYUSTADU CHANDRAMAHA,
TADEV SHUKRAM TAD BRAHMA TAAAPAHA SA PRAJAPATIHI.”

(YAJURVED MANTRA 32/1)

The God is omniscient, everlasting, source of divine pleasure, immortal, pure, kind, supreme judge, creator of universe, bearer and maintainer of universe. He is (Agni) i.e., omnipresent, (Aditya) form of light and immortal (Vayu) has unlimited divine power and holds the universe, (CHANDRAMA) form of divine pleasure and gives the same to the worshipper (SHUKRAM) alive and Almighty (BRAHMA) most supreme (Aapah) omnipresent (Prajapati) lord of all living beings.

“NA TASYA PRATIMA ASTI YASYA NAAM MAHADYASHAHA
HIRANNYAGARBHA ITYESH MA MA HINSEEDITYESHA YASMAANN JAAT ITYESHAHA.”

(YAJURVED MANTRA 32/3)

God can not be measured. So there cannot be His statue because statue is measurable.

God contains the root of everlasting knowledge in all respects. He is supreme that is there is no other who is like God. That is why, all the knowledge observed in the universe emanates from God in the shape of four Vedas.

Rishi Pantanjali writes in Yoga Shastra sutra 1/26 “SA ESHAHA POORVESHAMAPI GURUHU KAALENANVACHCHEDAT” i.e., God is the first Guru (teacher) of the ancient four Rishis named Agni, Vayu, Aditya and Angira at the beginning of creation. Sutra 1/24 states “KLESHKARMVIPAKASHYAIRPARAMAISHTAHA PURUSHVISHESH ISHWARAHA.” i.e., God has no concern with any kind of sufferings, sorrows and deeds, the result of deeds. That is why, He is called God who is special amongst souls because souls have to suffer the said sorrows, result of deeds etc.

So based on the knowledge of four Vedas which emanates direct from God there is only one God to be worshipped by the entire universe. It shall not be out of place to mention that all the religions of the world agree about God being one.

Vedas being eternal constitute the culture of the world. We must know that knowledge is gained only when it is imparted by someone. In the beginning of the earth, God gives the knowledge in the form of four Vedas, in which He mainly preaches science i.e., knowledge about every mater of world (Gyan Kand) form of all pious deeds ( Karma Kand) worship (Upasana Kand).

In Vedas the said three matters are called “Trishu”. Every Rishi studied Vedas and became learned. As a result, they wrote Upnishads, Shastras, Valmiki Ramayan, Mahbharat( Bhagwad Geeta), etc.

So here are some views of Rishis about God. As stated in Atharvaved mantra 10/8/1 (YO BHOOTAM CHA BHAVYAM CHA..JYESHTHAYE BRAMANNEY NAMAHA) i.e., God exists in past, present and future time period i.e., being eternal and He being present forever, knows every happening of the past, present and future . We must bow before the greatest, most supreme Brahma (God) and worship Him. The said God is one, eternal truth that is, will remain forever. The Rishi of Chchandogya Upnishad expresses his similar views as under.

Chchandogya Upnishad Shloka 6/2/1 states:
(AGRE) before the universe (IDAM) this omnipresent (SAD EV) Almighty God (ASEET) was.
Idea: The creation is eternal. When the universe is destroyed, then after a stipulated time, it is again created. Upnishad here states that, God being immortal, exists before every creation.

Again the Upnishad states the qualities of the God that was (EKAM EV) i.e., He was the only one and (ADWITEEYAM) no one was equivalent to Him. The idea is that God is one and unchangeable.

Kathopnishad 5th valli , shloka 9 states that fire (agni) exists in every matter and takes the same form of the matter in which it exists . Similarly, God is omnipresent i.e., is present in every matter of the world and has taken the form of the matters. That is, although God is one but has taken the form of every matter in which He is present.

Here we can also say that fire (Agni) in every matter is separate from the object based on his qualities. Similarly, God is separate and every matter of the world is separate from the God.

Bhagwad Geeta Shloka 2/16 also contains the views of Vedas as mentioned in Atharvaveda mantra 10/8/1. Geeta shloka states “NAABHAVAHA VIDYATE SATAHA”
i.e., there is no lack of truth. Its absence is impossible and therefore truth is everlasting- So God, souls and Prakriti are everlasting being true.

Similarly, “NA ASATAHA VIDYATE BHAVAHA” Untruth /falsehood gets destroyed one day. It can never exist forever. So the entire universe with its matters made of Prakriti is destructible. For example, a plant grows from a seed and becomes a tree then and one day gets destroyed. Similarly, a child takes birth, his body becomes young and then old. Thereafter at a stipulated time, it dies away and gets destroyed.

It is really a wonder that where the God in Yajurved mantra 40/3 has stated, “NANNUDDEVA AAPNUVAN” i.e., no senses, perceptions or mind can achieve the God, God being beyond description, imagination, calculation etc. So due to lack of knowledge of Vedas mostly the people remain indulged in illusion and apply their entire power of senses, perceptions mind etc. to know the God and preach accordingly. I think all religions agree that we must seek the path of worship where our senses and mind becomes dead and then we will realize God within us.

QUALITIES OF SOULS (JEEVATAMA)

Soul is alive. Soul has to face the result of his deeds. Soul takes body of human beings, animals, birds, trees etc., according to deeds of past lives. Soul feels sorrow, happiness etc., through body. When soul leaves body, it feels nothing but carries all karma to be faced in next birth through his chitta’s (chitta) vritti (vritti).

Souls are innumerable but are constant in number having similar qualities like being pure, immortal, alive etc. Soul is infinitesimally small, is invisible. The bodies of all living beings contain souls.

Not God but soul has desire, hatred/malice, merriment, sufferings, attachment etc. While attracting itself towards materialistic articles made of prakriti soul forgets his original form. As a result, soul recognizes himself as body. This is the stage of soul being unwise.

“NA TAM VIDATH YA IMA JAJAANANYUDYUSHMAKAMANTARAM BABHOOVA,
NEEHAREINN PRAVRITA JALAPYA CHASUTRIP UKTHASHASCHARANTI.”

(RIGVED MANTRA 10/82/7)

(TAM) that God (NA) not ( VIDATH) known (YAH) who (EMA) all worlds (JAJANN) creates and (YAT) from you (ANYAT) separate from other souls(YUSHMAKAM) from you (ANTARAM) with in all (BABHOOVA) is (NIHAREINN) fog like smoke (YAT) that God (PRAVARITAHA) covered (JALAPYAHA) baseless discussion (ASUTRIPAHA) satisfied only in Prann [breathing system] (UKTHASHASAHA) only paying lip service (CHARANTI) deals or behaves.

Meaning: Like an invisible matter which is covered with fog similarly dealing in only lip service and indulging in baseless discussion and are satisfied in their breathing system, Oh! Man-woman, you do not know the God who creates the five matters/universe and the God who is separate from other souls and who is within all.

About senses, I’ve clarified above that “Man proposes and God disposes” i.e., we are free to do any deed but result is awarded by God. So, please there is no question that senses first enjoy under the control of God. In this connection, Rigved mantra 10/135/1,2 refers:-

Idea of Rigved mantra 10/135/1,2, 3, 4

Rigveda mantra 10/135/1,2, 3 we’ve been blessed with the human body to face the result of our previous lives’ deeds – good and bad, in the shape of happiness and sorrows. When we’ve to face bad deeds then naturally everybody says that it is our bad luck but mostly people do not think that God has done justice and the sorrows/problems given by God is the result of our said deeds. Further, the ved mantra 4 state that if a person makes contact with learned acharya of Vedas and yoga philosophy and becomes able to gain knowledge of Vedas and obey preach of Vedas then the effect of bad deeds is automatically destroyed and future becomes bright. Secondly, God helps those who help themselves. So, hardworking, devotion and dedication also makes future bright.

As regards sending feelings/message to distant person without any worldly means of communication, it relates to hard practice of ashtang yog, study of Vedas, doing daily Yajyen with ved mantras under guidance of learned acharya of Vedas and ashtang yog.

Vrat, if relates to starving, it does not exist in eternal knowledge of Vedas. So, learned do not accept it and as regards sadhna, it relates to eternal knowledge of Vedas which preaches three educations:-

THREE EDUCATIONS

There are three educations/preach about
(i) knowledge – science etc(Gyan) in Rigved,

At the time of every creation, knowledge of four Vedas emanates direct from God and is originated in the heart of four Rishis in non-sexual creation. In the said process, first of all, the knowledge of Rigved advents and originates in the heart of Rishi Agni. In this Veda though the description of every worldly matter right from straw to God has been mentioned but it speaks especially about matters concerning science of the world. God has described qualities/nature of all materialistic articles of the universe. Therefore, the entire mankind must get the benefit of eternal knowledge of Vedas by knowing about right from straw to Brahma i.e., God. The meaning of “Ric” is that wherein the qualities and nature of all matters have been described and the meaning of Veda is knowledge i.e., true knowledge. These words are used in making the pious word “Rigved”.

(ii) In Yajurved, the form of true, pious deeds have been preached. So, in the absence of listening of Yajurved, we can’t know about real moral duties of students, married persons, vanprasthis and sanyasis. Even the moral and social obligations of King, parents, children etc., can’t be known.

(iii) In Samved there is preach about eternal true worship of God like Yajyen, name jaap, practice of Ashtang yog by following which an aspirant realises God/attains salvation.

(iv) Atharvaved authenticates the above three vedas’ preach. It also contains comprehensive knowledge of medical science.

So, Almighty God who is formless, creates, nurses, destroys and again creates universe. This process is eternal and everlasting. So, at the time of beginning of each non-sexual, the knowledge of above four Vedas emanates direct from God and is originated in the heart of four Rishis. The knowledge is given by the God to the human-beings for their welfare/benefit because until the knowledge is given by somebody, no one can attain the knowledge. In the beginning of the creation, no preacher, guru, acharya, teacher is present there to teach. So, God gives the knowledge.

So, we must not think about vibes etc., but follow Vedic path to achieve four divine distinguished matters for a long, happy life – arth (finance) , dharma(religion) , kaam (pious desires’ fulfillment) and Moksha (final liberation) which is the goal. Arth means he gets money, assets, Dharma means he knows his moral obligations/duties and he performs the same. Kaam means that by Yajyen his pious desires get fulfilled automatically and Moksha means salvation.

Such achievement surely makes us cheerful person. We must not care what people say about us but we must produce ourselves before the God by following Vedic path that Oh! God we are not defaulters. In this connection, Vedas as well as Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj in chapter 12 also states –

Samah Shatru cha mitraha tatha
Maan apmaanyo
Hamein shatruta aur mitrata mein ek samaan rehna chahiye aur
Tulya ninda stutihi.

Arthat manushya apnee ninda aur stuti (prashansa) mein sadaa ek samaan rahey.

Apnee ninda aur prashnasa mein bhi ek samaan raho. How the people can abuse you when beti, I see that you are a learned person otherwise you could not have put such learned query.

Yajurved state God is akaya, asnavraum i.e., God is formless and therefore does not have any body and nervous system.

Yajurved states “Na Tasya Pratima Asti”
i.e., God is totally away from any kind of measurement i.e., there is no shape (idol) of God. So as per preach of God in Vedas, there is no shape /idol of God so how can we promote idol worship. If we promote then we go against God. Yet, if anybody wants to do Idol worship, he can do so at his own discretion. I also paste my article in this regard:-

Idol worship is not mentioned in Vedas

If an aspirant will concentrate over mouth of idol then for sometime he will concentrate on chin, nose, head etc., but concentration on one point will not be achieved. Secondly, Vedas do not preach to concentrate outside the body. Yog shastra sutra 3/1 also states, “DESHBANDHASYA CHITTASYA DHARNA” i.e., concentrate on a point of body like agyachakra, tip of the nose or heart. So we cannot go against the ved-shastras. Yes, idol worship has been started within two thousand and five hundred years. That is why, Vedas do not tell for idol worship but if people desire, they can go ahead.

Pictures, drawings etc., may not be considered idols but it is an art and not worship of God. We must know that knowledge of Vedas emanates direct from God and idol worship has been made by human beings. So now we have to decide whether we obey God or human beings. If we still follow the path made by humans then no problem, one must go ahead. On the other hand, follower of Vedas must continue his own path.

In four Vedas, the media to realize the God has been stated as –

Study of Vedas under guidance of acharya which is a real media and as mentioned in the Vedas, one has to follow the preach mentioned therein viz., performance of Yajyen, name jaap of God , regular contact with learned acharya of Vedas, ashtang Yoga Practice under his guidance etc. The said media is stated by God Himself in Vedas. Man, an artist, clay and every matter right from straw to sun, moon, air, space etc., is the creation of God. It thus concludes that we have to worship and realize the creator and we must not be attracted towards creation. Attraction is the task of senses, perceptions and mind which is destroyed but the creator is immortal. No other media is stated in Vedas except the human body through which the said worship is done by a Yogi, Rishi-muni or aspirant.

Vedas-shastras state that God is omnipresent and according to Yajurveda mantra 40/6 it is true but other mantras state that God is “Ninnaya” that is hidden in the universe and we have to locate the hidden God and not the visible, non-alive matters of the world.

T.V., radios etc., all articles are man-made and controlled by some mechanism. And examples of man-made mechanism are actually not applied on Almighty, omnipresent God. Any mechanism, for example- rocket launching , launching of satellites etc., involves the mind of a man and mind has limited power otherwise mind could have searched the hidden Almighty God also but Vedas state that mind, intellect , senses etc., have limited power and God is beyond imagination , beyond description, beyond calculation. That is why, our ancient Rishis, Rajrishis practised Vedic path that is did practice of Ashtang Yoga Philosophy, yajyen etc.

As such they exercised control over mind, intellect, senses etc. A Yogi when makes the mind dead etc., and forgets even himself (soul) then he realizes the God. This eternal Vedic path of Yoga philosophy has been very well preached by Rishi Patanjali in his Yog Shastra.

God is not a matter to be seen with eyes. So how can He be seen alone in everything with the destructive eye?

Ego is not one-sided matter. If there is ego, neither a formless God is realized nor difference between idol or formless God is established. It is ego that most of the people respect the idol worship as well as formless God’s worship mentioned in Vedas but when an aspirant follows the Vedas, his mind becomes stable, then he only accepts worship of formless God and not others. Whereas, the worshipper who worships idol, he accepts formless God also i.e., he cannot ignore Vedas and can not accept one path alone. We must deeply think over it that why is it so?

God being formless has not preached regarding any of His substitute or symbol, so the aspirant who knows Vedic philosophy accepts the God’s preach accordingly. When God in four Vedas, has not stated about His mark or representative then how the follower would accept the same? Vedas have been preaching the formless worship as quoted above eternally whereas the worship of idol has been made for the last about two thousand five hundred years ago by the human-beings. So there is difference of worship of formless God and idol.

Idol worship is the worship where the sentiments and emotions of heart are involved and all the said involvements are man-made as well as destructible. How a mind/intellect having limited power can dig out the Almighty, formless, hidden God from the creation? God is Almighty i.e., He has unlimited powers whereas soul who is being assisted by mind, intellect and senses etc., has limited power.

Yajurveda mantra 1/5 and Rigveda mantra 3/56/1 states that even God cannot transgress His rules. So how can God be transformed according to our emotions and be forced to accept our sentiments which are not according to His laws of nature.

All Vedas state that His laws of creation remain unchangeable. So there is no value of our sentiments etc., contrary to His rules and regulations. In the said Rigveda mantra, God strictly states “that all mountains, seas, rivers and even the Yogis who have realized Him (God) are incapable to change His rules and regulations and the way of worship etc.” So our self-made worship, emotions and sentiments etc., are of no use until these are according to Vedas.

As regards flag, yes it is invaluable not only for soldiers but for countrymen as well. However, the flag of each country is different. Will any other countryman sacrifice his life for our Tiranga? We, the Indians are enough to sacrifice our lives to maintain the dignity of our adorable Tiranga. So flags are different, the countries being different but God is one and only one for entire universe. So worldly example in the matter of formless, Almighty God is not applicable, please.

Also the matter of image being very clear to the devotee when it speaks to him in his own language of devotion, forces a learned man to say that the said speech between his mind and soul is worldly speech and even destructible whereas when a Yogi realizes God, he is completely unable to speak, hear, see, smell, eat, think etc. In this connection, the description of Yog shastra sutra 4/30,31, 32 pertaining to Dharmamegh Samadhi refers.

Yes, only currency notes are valuable. Similarly the Yogis –like Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj, Sri Ram, Vyas muniji, Guru Vasishth, Atri Rishi, Patanjali Rishi and the present Yogis-Rishis –Munis who have realized God, following the Vedic path are valuable. The stamp of beloved God is everywhere that is in sky, water, vegetation, in each living being etc. But as far as worship is concerned then the follower of Vedas only worships formless God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe, alone being Almighty. He is Almighty, therefore, He doesnot need any assistance from anyone.

This is never forgotten that the image has been brought from Jaipur etc., so if one can worship an image then why can’t one worship all pervading, omnipotent, omniscient, merciful God, who is the source of everything, who is eternal, unchangeable, life of life and soul of soul etc. Why do we change Him from being unchangeable to changeable idol?

Practice makes man perfect. So the beginner will get the sanskar (effect) on his chitta of idol worship and the same will never be omitted again. Secondly, according to the Vedas idol worship is not authentic. You see, there is no shape of soul. Atharvaveda mantra 10/8/25 states that size of soul is less than the tip of hair i.e., soul is the minutest matter which remains unseen. But when an aspirant tries to know about the soul, he knows based on qualities. We know about a person according to the description of his qualities- good or bad. Accordingly, we know Ravanna, King Harishchandra etc., based on their bad and good qualities respectively. So is the case of formless God. God has given His description/His divine qualities in Vedas only. After studying the Vedas, we first know the God based on Shabda Brahma i.e., ved mantras. Thereafter, when we worship Him according to Vedas, we attain Samadhi and realize Him. This fact has also been mentioned in Shantiparv of Mahabharat wherein Bheeshma tells Yudhishthir that Oh! Yudhishthir, he who gets perfection in ved mantras first, then he realises God.

When Formless, Almighty God has not stated in any ved about the idol worship then how will He be pleased by idol worship? Yajurveda mantra 32/3 states “NA TASYA PRATIMA ASTI” i.e., God cannot be measured. So there cannot be any idol of God because He is immeasurable. However, if people get peace in following idol worship, they may continue. Here I am only discussing the fact of Vedas.

Touching of hand and body etc., is materialistic matter which can only please mind, intellect through skin but it can’t be quoted in respect of Formless, Almighty God.

Whole world can be considered as the body of God but in reality God does not have body because God is alive whereas world is non-alive matter. So God is separate and world is separate. God remains immortal whereas world is destructible.

The image will be destroyed one day but not God. When there is no body of God then how will we be able to offer flowers, sandal wood paste, food etc., to Him.

Yajurveda mantra 40/8 states God to be the purest and He needs not to be purified by bathing, changing clothes and applying sandal wood paste etc. It is an idol or body of human-being which requires purification again and again.

External form of worship will strengthen the idol only because we will be singing, describing the attributes of idol/creation and not to Formless God. If we in the beginning are not able to judge the true, divine qualities of formless God then our love and faith will remain unstable.

Such aspirant will only feel nearness to the idol and not formless God who is already within him and who already resides the nearest to the soul i.e., within the soul.

We will have to study the Vedas which state that idol worship is not permitted by God. Yet, if an aspirant wants to worship an idol then I am telling again and again that he can go ahead at his own. On receipt of your e-mail, I am giving answer based on Vedic philosophy only that what Vedas say about idol worship. Vedas do not speak about idol worship and avtarwad. However, people are free to go ahead on their own and do whatever they like.

When I will see any art which is liked by soul through eye, definitely it will be admired and the scene which is disliked will be ignored. So if many people admire the idol of Ganesh sitting on conch, admiration is natural. As far as Vedas-shastras and other holy ancient books written by Rishis are concerned in the worship of formless God, spirit has no concern. Neither spirit exists nor has any concern with the worship of God.

No doubt, God resides in the heart of human-beings i.e., if a devotee follows Vedic path under guidance of learned acharya then sure one day God manifests within his heart. Yet, He is omnipresent. I mean to say, there is only human-body of a yogi where God manifests not anywhere any place outside the body. God as said always resides in the human-body as said in Rigved mantra 1/164/20. Fundamental laws of God are always eternal, everlasting and unchangeable and unchallengeable . In this connection Rigved mantra 3/56/1 refers.

God exists everywhere but He is formless. He is learned of learneds and that is why in the beginning of the earth knowledge of four Vedas emanates directly from Him, in the heart of four Rishis, as usual. So, knowledge is separate and God is separate.

Control on indriyans (senses, perceptions, mind and intellect) is achieved only by following Vedic path under the guidance of learned acharya. There is no other way, so please try to follow Vedic path by making contact with any learned acharya.
