Rakesh: How to do apsara sadhna?
Swami Ram Swarup: There is no apsara sadhna in Vedas and in holy books like shastras, upnishads, Bhagwad Geeta etc. So, please clarify about apsara sadhna to enable me to give suitable reply.
M R: Swamijee Pranaam, There is a practice by some priests when they reach the cremation grounds to ask pall bearers to sit and stand several times before they reach the hall. Is this ritual found in any scriptures? If so, which scripture? Is it practised in India? How did it begin? What is the purpose of this ritual?

Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Some Hindus listen to Puranns and believe in them but the learned of Vedas do not believe in Puranns because several shlokas of Puranns are against the eternal knowledge of Vedas.
