Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Nowadays, all the present Advaitwad devotees say that Adi Guru Shankaracharya was in favour of present Vedanta. But Rishi Dayanand Saraswatiji totally denies. Dayanandji states Adi Guru Shankaracharya was the follower of eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God in the beginning of the earth.
