Shashikant Pandey: Swamiji, sadar pranaam,i wanted to know that why Almighty God has made short life for noble persons? Like Swami Dayanand Saraswati was noble person, but he died in 59 years of age?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. You see, several persons have got long life, even more then 100 years of age but they’ve not been earmarked as noble persons. Whereas in a short life period several persons due to their extra ordinary efforts and doing pious deeds for the benefit of human-beings have been called noble persons. So, what is the use of that life which is useless for human-beings. On the other hand, a short life period spent for the benefit of human-beings is rather the best life. Secondly, the present-karmas of a culprit sometimes hurts the learned, leaving behind the fact of knowing the high dignitary and pious quality of the learned. For example – Swami Dayanand Saraswati was poisoned by a servant. In every case the soul being immortal which fact is very well known by a learned, he never repents on death.

S: Swamiji Pranam i dont know ki i should ask this or not par Swamiji aapse acha guide koi nahi kar sakta. Swamiji mere job par main jitn marzi efforts se work kar loon phir bhi mujhe increment progress nahi milta.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. My daughter, you know the duties are discharged without thinking of any reward in return. However, it is the duty of the department to inspire and honour the hardworker. In spiritualism, when the world does not pay the reward or does not give justice then the result/justice always rests in the hands of Almighty God.

In duties, personal link sometimes gives bad experiences. So better everybody must discharge his duty faithfully, the result will automatically be good because Almighty God never does injustice and we must know that the deed which has been done, it never goes in vain but produces result. So, we must always try to do pious deeds, keeping aside the desire of getting any result.

Pankaj: Sir, Charan Sparsh, Sir as I had ask a question regarding after doing havan what we have to do of the ashes and as per your direction I take it into my some dead flower pots and some other pots of dead tree, I have done this for last two three months. Amazingly after two or three months I was surprised that flower become alive with greenery! What it is my deva? Please guide me in detail.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. I’m pleased that you’ve experienced the divine effect of ashes of hawan. Please, continue the pious deed.

Aneel Kumar: Swami Ji, 12th Shaloka of 6th chapter of Srimad Bhagavad Gita talks about the use of deerskin for meditation. Is it necessary that the sitting place be covered with deerskin for meditation? Isn’t so that we have to kill a deer to have its deerskin, which will be a sin. Why, then, is it used as an aid for meditation? Please explain.
Swami Ram Swarup: In the ancient times when there was shortage of clothes etc., the Rishi-munis used the skin of dead body of deers or lions and tigers. So, first of all, the skin of deer etc., which has been killed, will never be useful. Secondly, when the blankets, kushasan etc., are available in the world then why to think for the asan of the Mrig? The best asan nowadays is a blanket folded twice, then cover it with a cotton cloth. The asan must be on the ground and not on the bed.
