(1) Vedic sanskriti ke anusar adhiktar santaan pita ke naam se hee adhik jaanee jaati hai lekin kahin- kahin mata ke naam se bhi jaanee gayee hai jaise kee Ganga putra Bheeshma, Kunti putra karnaa aur panch pandav.

(2) Mata-pita donon ka santaan par samaan adhikaar hota hai kyunki donon ke samaan sehyog se hee santaan utpann hotee hai aur uska palan poshann karke usey badaa kiya jaata hai.

(3) Yeh theek hai ki nari santaan ko nau maheene kokh mein rakhtee hai parantu purush ke bina bhi to santaan garbh mein nahi aatee aur doosra yeh ki poore nau maheene pita hee patni ka ann-dhan itiyadi se paalan-poshann karta hai aur santaan utpann hone tak har tarah se dekhbhaal karta hai. Phir jab santaan utpann ho jaatee hai to pita hee santaan aur nari donon ka paalan poshann karta hai. Isliye yeh nahi kaha ja sakta ki nari aur purush mein kisi ka bhi role kam hai. Apitu Rigved mantra 8/33/18 ke anusar grihasth chalane mein nari kee apeksha purush ko hee zyada mahatva diya hai. Kyunki kewal mata dwara santaan ko janam dene tak hee kartavya seemit nahi hai, bachchey ka aage bhi paalan-poshann avashyak hai. Mantra kehta hai ki pati-patni ka grihasth Jeevan ek samaan uttardaayitva yukta hai parantu shareerik aadi drishti se adhik balwaan pati ka uttardaayitva adhik shreshth hai. Bilkul aise jaise ki rath aadi gaadi mein bail aadi kee Jodi mein se adhik balwaan par hee adhik bhaar rehta hai.

Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. Yes, my daughter, according to age and body structure period from twenty five to forty years is the best period to obtain good children. However, after this period, that is upto fifty years the babies can also be obtained. But the best period is only twenty five to forty years of age and you see that main motto of marriage is only to obtain intelligent, ill-free and long live babies who can build the nation strong. This target is only obtained if husband and wife, both follow Vedic path, maintain Brahmacharya in family and then obtain the babies.
