It has three threads indicating that a person should exercise control over his five senses, perceptions and mind. Rishi Rinn, Pitri Rinn and Dev Rinn are paid off by wearing Yajyopaveet. According to Paraskar Griha Sutra 2,2,11 –
“OM YAJYOPAVEETAM PARMAM PAVITRAM PRAJAPATERYAT SAHAJM PURUSTAT.

AAYUSHYAMAGRAYAM PRATIMUNCH SHUBHRAM YAJYOPAVEETAM BALAMASTU TEJAHA.

YAJYOPAVEETAMASI YAJYASYA TVA YAJYOPAVEETENOPANAHYAMI.”

If a person learns the sheershasan from his acharya in married life then he should only do the asan for one-two minutes not more than this because sheershasan requires maintenance of hard brahamcharya which is not possible in married life.

Anushthan may be for 1, 2 or 3 days or more or as many aahutis can be offered as per your convenience. So, according to your suitability, you can start Gayatri anushthan any time because all days are pious, being made by God.

Bhagwad Geeta Mahabaharat granth ke Bheesahma parv ke shlokon se sampanna hai. Mahabharat se Bheeshma parv ke shlokon ko nikaal kar kisi ne alag se print kiya hua hai aur uska naam Geeta rakh diya hai. Ab yeh granth hamara adhyatmik granth hai. Parantu hamein itna to samajhna hee chahiye ki Bhagwad Geeta koi alag se kitaab nahin hai, yeh Mahabharat granth ka ang hai aur Mahabharat Granth Vyasmuniji ne likha hai.

Doosra, yeh hai ki dono sena ka beech me khade hokar kavita ke roop mein eighteen chapters ka gyan koi bhi nahin de sakta. Issey yeh siddh hota hai ki Mahabharat Granth ka Bheesham Parv, Mahabharat yuddh ke baad hee, yuddh hone ki sari sthiti ko samajh kar hee likha gaya hai.
