Kiran Das: What about shuklacharya & madhvacharya are they readers of Veda?
Swami Ram Swarup: Sorry, I do not know about Shuklacharya. Madhawacharya was the pro-pounder of Dwaitwad. He said that God and souls are separate from each other. He told that the main subject of Bhagwad Geeta is regarding bhakti and yoga. But, perfection in karma (deeds) is not necessary. However, in Vedas there are three educations.
There are four Vedas:
1. Rig Veda (Gyan kand) – gives knowledge of science, matter of the universe like sun, moon, air body etc., etc.
2. Yajurveda (Karam kand)- gives knowledge of all the deeds and duties to be performed by men or women, students, leaders, king, agriculturist etc., etc., etc.
3 Samveda (Upasana kand) – gives knowledge how to worship God who gives peace and long happy life etc. In this way, details of Yoga philosophy, qualities, supreme deeds and nature of the God are also given.
4 Atharvaveda – gives details of God, medical science and details of medicine etc.
Without knowledge, no pious deeds can be done. So, knowledge is required. Without deeds how a person will make his source of earning to survive. We study several books and Vedas and get bookish knowledge and try to do deeds. First of all, we would not be able to get perfection in it. Secondly, at any time our thoughts may be turned into sins and bookish knowledge at that time will be of no use. So, we want help to do only pious deeds to get long, happy life. That help is always provided by Almighty God, if we worship Him. So, gyan, karma and upasana i.e., Gyan, Karma and Bhakti are equally important to be away from illusion, to get long, happy life and attain salvation.
Varun: Pranam Swamiji. Swamiji newspapers are full of articles stating sex is healthy and normal, where as religious books state the opposite. Could you please tell why it is wrong in detail? Thank you in advance.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. In this connection , if possible I would advise you to please read my book- . “BRAHAMCHARYA- EK DUKH NIVARAK MANNI” (in Hindi) having pages 173 worth Rs. 100/- excluding postal charges. In the book, detailed light has been thrown on the topic of Brahamcharya, giving authentic references of ved mantras. It has been an eternal law of God that a brahamchari is equivalent to the knowledge of four vedas. He overcomes death. His life becomes long and he experiences divine pleasure. Whereas, lack of Brahamcharya gives several diseases, problems, tensions, indulgement in illusion and early deaths etc. but I would again say that detailed information will be received from above quoted book, please. I would also like to state here that those who are indulged in illusion, materialistic articles, pomp and show and enjoyment from destructive articles of materialistic world only, their motto becomes only-‘ eat, drink and be marry’ .
So the said persons cannot be compared with learned persons like Arjun, Yudhishthir and the great dignitaries like Sri Ram, Sri Krishna Maharaj etc., who maintained brahamcharya even in married life. On the other hand Sri Ram and Sri Krishna Maharaj used to give heartiest respect to Hanumanji and Bheeshma Pitamah respectively, who were Brahamcharis.
They never appreciated Ravanna, Duryodhan etc., who lacked brahamcharya and adopted path of illusion i.e., eat, drink and be marry. As a result, they destroyed their clans and themselves.

Swami Ram Swarup: Videsh yatra to apney hee gunno par adharit hai. Jo pada likha,samajdaar,kathin parisharam karne wala hoga,weh videsh yatra zaroor karega. Parantu jahan tak shadi-vivah ka prashna hai, veh bhi gunnoin par adharit hai, yeh sab kuch Ishwar ke hath mein hai isliye hamain nitye parmeshwar ki vedic bhskti kar ke Parmeshwar se ashirwad prapat karna chahiye.
Anonymous: Saadar Pranam. How to pray God for long-life and good health of our Vedic acharya?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. As stated in Yajurveda mantra 18/29, everybody gets long, happy life by performing holy Yajyen which Ved mantras, attains purification of intellect and fulfils all his pious desires. Even regular Yajyen and name jaap of God enables the aspirant to realise God. So, we must obey the preach of all four Ved mantras to get long, happy life. It is very much clear that until we listen to Vedas, we shall not be able to get the pious result of our such deeds of performing Yajyen, name jaap etc. So, as also preached by God in Vedas to listen to Vedas from learned Acharya of Vedas, we must obey accordingly. It also gives us ill free life.
