Mini: SWAMIJI THANKS AND THANKS FOR GIVING SUCH WONDERFUL TRUTHS.BUT SRI KRISHNA WAS A GREAT YOGI WHO CONTROLLED HIS LOWER TENDENCIES BY HARD PRACTICE OF YOG AND DEVOTION. THEN WHY TWO WIVES? -RUKMINI AND SATYABHAMA AS TOLD BY YOU IN YOUR PREVIOUS ANSWER ? LIVING IN FAMILY AND DISCHARGING YOUR DUTIES WITH YOUR TARGET OF GOD REALIZATION IS SIGN OF A GREAT BRAHMACHARI. BUT NO MORAL OR TRADITION OF KINGS OF THOSE DAYS OR POLITICAL OR FAMILY OR DESIRE OF SONS OR CHILDREN ANY SUCH REASON CAN JUSTIFY THIS HIDDEN LUST IN WHATSOEVER NAME YOU GIVE IT . IMAGINE A LADY YOGI WITH TWO HUSBANDS. WILL SHE BE CALLED A YOGI THEN? IS THIS ACT OF TWO OR MORE SPOUSES NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR BOTH MAN AND WOMAN EQUALLY WHEN GOD HAS MADE THEM EQUAL AS FAR AS SEEKING GOD REALIZATION IS CONCERNED? ARE MEN GIVEN MORE FREEDOM BY GOD OR IS IT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF SOCIAL CUSTOM OF MALE SUPERIORITY AND GETTING AWAY IN THE NAME OF GOD AND TRADITION? SRI RAM JI COMMANDS 100% RESPECT WITH ONE WIFE .HOW IS IT JUSTIFIED FOR A GREAT YOGI LIKE SRI KRISHNA? REGARDS.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you and you are always welcome, please. Yes, Sri Krishna Maharaj was a Yogeshwar and Almighty, Formless God manifested within him. Yes, it is said that he had two wives. Actually, in Mahabharat Epic, only Rukmanni has been told to be his wife but this is also a famous story about Satyabhama that she was his wife. When we study the real Mahbaharat about Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj then we find that Sri Krishna maharaj was a great dignitary, he had controlled his senses, perceptions and mind and had the best character for which he was worshipped in the society at that time. He never attended any meeting of any gopis etc., neither did he steal butter etc., as the said story are not mentioned in Mahabharat written by Vyas Muniji. At the age of one hundred twenty years, he left his body at his own. So, we should never think about his wives but his character, divine qualities and deeds. If a person has control on his senses and mind then family life makes no difference to attain salvation.

In family life, the desire of children is natural otherwise family life is not a place of enjoyment etc. Every Rishi-Muni who had wife realized God while discharging all moral duties. Neither man or woman can be a Yogi until he listens Vedas, does daily yajyen with ved mantras, hard practice of Ashtang Yog under guidance of learned acharya of Vedas and Yoga philosophy. The said worship if done properly makes a man able to control his five senses and mind. It makes him an atheist automatically, so question of two or more marriages etc., becomes irrelevant. The yogi automatically deals with it himself, based on Vedic philosophy. We should therefore, start immediately listening to Vedas, doing daily yajyen with ved mantras, name jaap of God and hard practice of Ashtang Yoga. Then we will be able to realize the truth ourselves.
Freedom is a personal matter of everyone and its result is also faced accordingly.

When Almighty God, all Rishi-Munis, Vyas Muniji himself accepted Sri Krishna maharaj as a great Yogi (Yogeshwar) then his title of Yogeshwar can never be challenged because such title as per Atharvaveda mantra 4/30/3- is awarded by God and accepted by the contemporary Rishis who have already attained vedic knowledge, after hard practice of Ashtang yoga, they attain salvation.

It is also fundamental law of almighty God which can never be changed that to decide truth, proof of vedas is essential. If views of anyone tally with Vedas then views are accepted by the learned as true, otherwise false. The dignitaries like Sri Ram, Sri Krishna Maharaj also fall under the proof of Vedas’ Philosophy. So, those who do not know Vedas, have never practiced Ashtang Yog and are not habitual to perform daily yajyen/havan with ved mantras. Thus, have no control on their senses and mind and usually tell lies and utter abusive language etc., they have no authority to challenge such adorable dignitaries. I would also like to mention here adorable Vyas Muniji’s views in Mahbharat Van Parv wherein he tells that the religious matter is a secret which is hidden in the heart. So, everyone is not capable to realize the true religion matter. Therefore, the above vedic views to reach at truth by giving vedic proof exists.

Even to point out such allegation is also against the Vedic philosophy.
