Dr. Bhardwaj: Respected swamijii. Thanks for great answer and I feel relieved. It will be so kind of you if you please send full text of shloka and chapter as mentioned by you below because Vedas, like Yajurved 40/14 state that all human-beings must get progress in both worldly pious deeds as well as spiritualism simultaneously.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. You are welcome, please. Please, study the following Yajurved mantras.

Yajurved mantra 40/8 states (SWAYAMBHU) The eternal, immortal and everlasting God (VYADHADHAAT) preaches well (ARTHAN) the knowledge of all worldly matters from Vedas to (SAMABHYAHA) public.

Idea is this that it is the kindness of Almighty God that He preaches the knowledge of Vedas. I paste my article as under-

Vedas’ Philosophy

God has made universe and blessed us with human body to do pious deeds to attain salvation only. He has not made any heaven or hell. All have to face the result of their deeds, good or bad here only, even by taking rebirth. (Rigveda mantras 10/135/1,2 refer). God has not only made universe but has also given knowledge of four Vedas where answers to your and everyone’s questions have been given. There are four Vedas:

1. Rig Veda – gives knowledge of science, matter of the universe like sun, moon, air, body etc., etc.

2. Yajurved – gives knowledge of all the deeds and duties to be performed by men, women, students, leaders, king, agriculturist etc., etc., etc.

3. Samved – gives knowledge how to worship God who gives peace and long happy life etc. In this way, details of Yoga philosophy, qualities, supreme deeds and nature of the God are also given.

4. Atharvaved – gives details of God, medical science and details of medicine etc.

Actually in four Vedas there is unlimited knowledge. Yajurveda mantra 40/8 says that God is everywhere, is Almighty, formless, devoid of nervous system, purest, away from sins and does not have to face any result of any karmas (deeds), knows every soul, knows what is in everyone’s mind, no body has made God, but God creates universe, has given the eternal knowledge of four Vedas and always gives the said knowledge at the beginning of every universe to know the science and deeds to all concern. Similarly four Vedas say about God that God is an omnipresent, omniscient, formless, beyond imagination and beyond calculation. Actually God has unlimited qualities. There is only one God who creates, nurses, destroys the universe and recreates. Atharvaved mantra 4/1/1 also says that God gives the knowledge of Vedas at the beginning of the earth to four Rishis of non-sexual creation. And thereafter only public listens Vedas through Rishis- Munis as yet and become learned. Rig-Veda gives knowledge of Almighty, Yajurved gives knowledge of karmas (deeds), Samved tells about worship-Yoga philosophy and Atharvaved about medicines and God. Actually all Vedas commonly says about God also, so this is about Vedas in short. But the knowledge of Vedas is endless.

It is a fundamental law that knowledge is always given by somebody. Otherwise knowledge can’t be gained at any cost. If a new born baby is nursed well in a dense jungle and is not educated then he will not be able to gain any knowledge even if he becomes young or old. So we have to think about the origin of the knowledge prevalent in the world today. In this connection the Vedas themselves say that God gives this knowledge to four Rishis. As said by Rishi Patanjali in Yog shastra sutra 1/26, God is the first Guru of the four Rishis. Yajurved mantra 31/7 also refers. This is all in short about Vedas.

The Vedas are not a book, rather it is a knowledge originated in the heart of Rishis. At the time of beginning of the earth those Rishis preached Vedas by mouth and all others remembered the same orally. At that time there was no pen, pencil, paper, etc. This process of studying Vedas orally remained till Mahabharata time. Muni Vyas too remembered Vedas traditionally by heart. Then Muni Vyas for the first time wrote the Vedas on Bhoj patra about 5300 years ago. In 16th century when printing press came into existence then the Vedas were printed. Still Vedas are not those which have been printed but those which are preached by mouth by an Acharya/yogi and the printed Vedas are called Sanhita.

Now if somebody worships a statue etc., then it is their own creation please but Vedas deny. According to Vedas the best worship of the God is Yajyen for which all Vedas are self-proof. Yajurveda mantra 31/16 says that the learned persons worship God by Yajyen.

So many people have asked me that most of the scholars/preachers of different religion state that their religion incorporates all matters of the world including science. What about Vedas? I wrote so many Ved Mantras describing science matters therein. For example, Yajurved Mantra 3/6 states
“Ayam Gauhu Swaha Pitram Puraha Prayan Mataram Prishnihi
Aakrameet Asadat”.

Meaning:

This earth revolves around the Sun in the space and it also rotates on its own axis. Vedas are eternal like God because Vedas emanate from God. Now, according to Vedas, this present creation is about 1 Arab, 96 crores, 8 lakh 53,111 years old. So are the Vedas but as said in Rigveda Mantra 10/191/3 the present creation is same as was the previous one and this process of creation is eternal. So are the Vedas which emanate from eternal God. This all concludes that Vedas are the oldest in this creation also and no other book of science, maths or pertaining to spiritualism is written before Vedas.

Like the above example of rotation and revolution of earth, the significance of whole present science is mentioned in Vedas. We can see that whatever is happening in the universe, is all according to the Vedas. For example, occurance of six seasons, actions of Sun, moon, process of death, birth, worship, yoga philosophy, atomic energy, agriculture, animal husbandry, knowledge of politics, administration, architecture, solar energy, knowledge of home appliances like mixer, grinder, business rules, about men, women, children, marriage, Brahmacharya, education, clothes etc., etc., i.e., knowledge right from a straw to Brahma is all in Vedas. God is Almighty and has unlimited powers. So through His power He is able to originate the knowledge of Vedas in the heart of four Rishis without pencil, paper, help of mouth or any other worldly assistance.

We, i.e., the whole world depends on Almighty God but God is forever independent. That is why, He is God. We are the souls who reside in human bodies. We need assistance of senses, perceptions, mind and body to do deeds but not God.

Nowadays, so many saints are writing books. What is the background to write their books? Background is clear that they have first studied or listened the preach from their Gurus, keeping aside the matter of truth or falsehood. And after studying or listening the same, they became able to write the books. So this is also fundamental law, based on which, the ancient Rishis first listened Vedas and when they became learned then only they wrote the Vedic books like Valmiki Ramayana, six shastras, Mahabharat (Bhagwad Geeta), Upanishads, etc., etc. So, first the knowledge of Vedas is initiated in the universe and afterwards other books come into existence.

Somebody may say that human beings have knowledge by their nature to create anything like books etc., but we see that the newly born baby who is nursed in a jungle, in the absence of knowledge of a learned person, he becomes incapable to do anything. Thus, he can’t be M.A, M.Sc, doctor etc. So there are two types of the words and meanings. First, eternal which are from Almighty God and second, natural made by human beings. Eternal word meanings are always from Vedas i.e., from God. After listening/studying Vedas, human beings become learned and then too based on their own natural knowledge, they make their own words and meanings, literature etc. But it is very much clear that in the absence of knowledge of Vedas, no one can become learned. Nowadays, also people live in dense jungle and do not lead a civilized life because they are not learned as cited above. Vedas are not sects because they emanate direct from God and God is one for all human beings. God creates sun, moon, air, water, food etc., which are meant for the best use of all human beings for their long, happy life, so are the Vedas.

So all human beings must accept Vedas as an eternal knowledge from God, for the benefit of whole creation.

1.) Yajurved mantra 1/1- states that Oh! God, may our senses, perceptions, mind and intellect be always united with the best pious deed. So, everybody must discharge his moral duties, entrusted by God in Vedas, faithfully. The full meaning of the mantras is given below-

Om Eeshey Tvorjey Tva Vayava Stha Devo Vaha Savita Prarpayatu,
Shreshthatamaye Karmannaapyayadhvamaghnya-indraye Bhagam
Prajavatiranameevaayakshma Ma vastenaeeshat Maghashanso
Dhruvaasmin Gopatau Syat Behveeryajmanasya Pashunpahi.
(Yajurved mantra 1/1)

Oh! Human-beings, may the (SAVITA) creator of three lokas and (DEVAHA) the bestower of all matters (PRARPAYATU) associate (VAYAVASTHA) ours (VAHA) and yours senses, perceptions, breathing system and inner self, all those with (SHRESHTHATAMAYE) the greatest pious deed – the yajyen (KARMANNE) and the deeds [moral duties] for the benefit of others.

Meaning;-
Oh! Human-beings, may the creator of three lokas and the bestower of all matters associate ours and yours senses, perceptions, breathing system and inner self, all those with the greatest pious deed – the yajyen and the deeds [moral duties] for the benefit of others.

Oh God, we (EESHEY) for food grains, (TVA) got your shelter (OORJEY) for physical and mental strength (BHAGAM) glory, wealth and deserving for knowledge (TVA) get your shelter. By adopting the said path (APYAYADHVAM) we are getting progress in our lives.

Meaning:-

Oh! God, we for food grains, got your shelter for physical and mental strength glory, wealth and deserving for knowledge get your shelter. By adopting the said path we are getting progress in our lives.

Oh! God, (INDRAYE) for the realisation of God and (KARMANNE) for doing the deeds i.e., (SHRESHTHATAMAYE) the greatest pious deed- the yajyen (PRARPAYATU) associate us with (PRAJAVATIHI) many (AGNAYAHA) the cows , animals, earth and our organs which do not deserve to be subjected to violence (ANAMEEVAHA) may they be devoid of sorrows (AYAKSHMAHA) free of infectious diseases.

Meaning:-
Oh! God, for the realisation of God and for doing the deeds i.e., the greatest pious deed- the yajyen associate us with many the cows , animals, earth and our organs which do not deserve to be subjected to violence may they be devoid of sorrows free of infectious diseases.

Oh! God, (MA EESHEET) may there not be (AGHASHANSAHA) sinners (STENAHA) thieves.

Meaning:-
Oh! God, May there not be sinner’s thieves.

Oh! God, kindly (PAHI) protect the (PASHUN) cows, horses, elephant, family and wealth of (YAJMANASYA) the organiser of yajyen. May the (AGHSHANSAHA) sinners (STENAHA) thieves, (MA EESHAT) not be able to kill (VAHA) cows, animals etc.

Meaning:-
Oh! God, kindly protect, the cows, horses , elephant, family and wealth of the organiser of yajyen. May the sinners thieves, not be able to kill cows, animals etc.

Oh! God (GOPATAU) the protector of earth and the owner of cows (ASMIN) as this earth may get (BEHAVEEHA) several cows etc., and (SYAT) they must be (DHRUVA) acquiring permanent pleasure.

Meaning:-

Oh! God the protector of earth and the owner of cows as this earth may get several cows etc., and they must be aquiring permanent pleasure.

Idea- Oh! God, I see your divine shelter to acquire physical and mental strength along with food grains etc. the God, who creates the three lokas , is self-enlightened and bestower of all matters , may always connect/associate my senses, inner self, breathing system to Yajyen, the greatest pious deed amongst all pious deeds of the world. May our society be free from diseases, fatal diseases, sinners, thieves etc. The entire earth be bestowed with eternal happiness. My God protect the animals and family members of Yajmaan (the organisers of Yajyen) who do pious deeds.

2.) Yajurved mantra 40/2:- This mantra states that if a person always does pious deeds (worldly and spiritual) then he will not be entangled in illusion, problems and sins etc. Mantra is as under-

KURVANNEVEHA KARMANNI JIJEEVISHECHCHATANG SAMAHA.
EVAM TVAI NAANYATHETOASTI NA KARMA LIPYATE NAREY.
(Yajurveda mantra 40/2)

In this Ved mantra, God preaches:-

(IH) All human-beings, in this world (KURVANNEIV) while doing (KARMANNI) pious deeds mentioned in Vedas, i.e., discharging one’s moral duties (JIJEEVISHEIT) should desire to live (SHATAM) for hundred (SAMAHA) years.

Here, the meaning of Karma is not religion or sect.

In the mantra, the deepest meaning of “Karmanni” i.e., pious deeds, is that the deeds preached in the Vedas are pious and those deeds which are against the Vedas are sins. This pious idea has also been mentioned by Rishi Kannada in his Vaisheshikshastra Sutra 1/2 which states-

“YATAHA ABHYUDAYANIHI SHREYAS SIDDHIHI SAHA DHARMAHA.”

Meaning- Dharma is that pious deed, by doing which, we get all pious comforts and pleasure in this present life and also attain salvation. In Manusmriti, karma has been very clearly defined that-

“VEDAH AKHILAHA DHARMAMOOLAM”

i.e., all pious deeds emanate from Vedas. Based on Vedic philosophy, Sri Krishna Maharaj has also stated in Bhagwad Geeta shloka 3/15 that Oh! Arjun! Vedas emanate from Almighty God and form of all pious deeds emanates from Vedas. So, there is no reason to negate the Vedas, Shastras and do deeds at our own. This world is created by God and He is our Lord. So, if we deny His Vedic preach then surely we will never get any peace or pleasure in life. The said fundamental law will have to be obeyed by all humans, being the preach of our lord, the administrator.

That is why, Yajurveda mantra 7/23 states that to get knowledge, take shelter of a learned of four Vedas because without knowledge all deeds done by us will go in vain and without deeds no knowledge can be attained. So, it is a Vedic preach that everybody should leave the laziness and by obeying Vedic preach should do all pious deeds and leave impious deeds [sins]. It is only possible if we maintain Brahmacharya, pious desires, get knowledge and the best education of Vedas, the result of which is “ShatamSamahaJijeevisheit” i.e., to overcome death and attain hundred years of happy life.

Mantra further states-

(NAREY) Oh! Man (EVAM) in this way, i.e., by always doing Vedic pious deeds (TVAI) in you (KARMA) deeds against the Vedas i.e., sins (NA LIPYATEY) would not entangle you.

Idea- Those who follow Vedic path and always do pious deeds, for instance, Sri Ram, Mata Sita, the ancient Rishi-Munis, Raj Rishis, they day by day become habitual to do only pious deeds and automatically their mind and intellect would drift away from sins.

In this way, they get the result of enhancing Vedic education, life span and divine qualities. This is the way to overcome tension, problems, sickness, blind faith etc., and to achieve salvation. If we do not follow the same then naturally we will become habitual of telling lies, taking bribery, committing corruption, injustice, following caste-system, bonded labour, do injustice to women and commit thousands of other types of sins because of not following Vedic path which alone hinders us from committing sins etc.

Mantra further clarifies that –

(ITAHA) Except this i.e., without following Vedic path and deeds (ANYATHA NA ASTI) there is no way to leave the sins.

Idea- There is no other way in respect of human-beings, not to be entangled in sins i.e., a devotee when starts doing only pious deeds preached in Vedas, then he will never be entangled in sins.
It has been our bad luck that we have forgotten to attain Vedic preach in life, this being the knowledge given by God, who is our lord. In the absence of Vedic knowledge, we mostly get indulged in illusion. Because the above mantra states that if we follow the Vedic path, always do Vedic pious deeds and thus discharge our moral duties faithfully then our said pious deeds affect us and even Ved mantras affect us and separate us away from illusion i.e., sins, for our entire life i.e., mantra stresses that there is no other way to drift away from sins and get long, happy life, free from illusion along with salvation. So, when God stresses in this mantra that there is no other solution to get away from illusion, tension, problems, diseases and to attain salvation, except by doing deeds according to Vedas, then why are we people doing deeds at our own i.e., against the Vedas?
Bhootpooja (Ghost worship), Idol worship, Tantrikism, mangalik matter, Teva, NavgrahPoojan, Shradh, not to serve parents, elders, learned acharya of Vedas, not to do daily Yajyen/Havan, not to listen or to follow Vedas, are thousand’s of sinful deeds which we have been doing at our own and result is evident before us that entire world is surrounded in problems, early deaths, baseless wars, killing innocent public and soldiers, violence, corruption, blind faith, etc.

Doesn’t it show our selfishness which generates in the absence of Vedic knowledge.

Did Sri Ram, King Dashrath, Harishchandra and several ancient kings, who followed Vedas, made their people helpless or face injustice, poverty, malnutrition, hunger, corruption, without security (only leaders get security now). Did at that time the sinful deeds mentioned above exist? Answer is ‘No’. Due to influence of knowledge of four Vedas everywhere, the falsehood i.e., deeds against the Vedas, did not exist. This fact can be seen in Valmiki Ramayan and Mahabharat epic written by Valmikiji and Vyas Muniji respectively. Blind worship of God has also ruined our nation, which cannot be stopped in the absence of Vedic knowledge.

So, spiritualism is not that God will help us if we are indulged completely in his worship alone but spiritualism is this that God will take care of us if we follow the Vedic preach completely in all respects i.e., spiritualism as well as worldly pious matters. Spiritualism infact mentally conditions the patient and helps him to stop non-vegetarian and any kind of addiction. So, mostly such people do not get indulged in any serious illness and even are cured speedily. On the other hand, non- spiritual persons become helpless to face the dire consequences of addiction, etc.

One more thing, nobody gets sorrows, without reason. The reason is that he in his previous or present life has done sins. God is supreme judge and imparts justice. He never does injustice or favourism. This fact is also stated in Yajurveda mantra 7/48 that the soul in human body does good or bad deeds but almighty God does justice and gives result thereof in the shape of happiness and sorrows. He never excuses the culprit. Hence, we must never blame God in any problem or sorrows but must seek knowledge to stop doing sins and follow Vedic path as stated above. It will only be possible if we make contact with learned acharya of Vedas and listen to Vedic knowledge from him and follow the same. Otherwise, days and nights are laboring on ruining our life. Problem is this that in the absence of Vedic knowledge, being duly indulged in illusion, everybody treat sorrows, ruining of life as pleasure, which is the effect of illusion i.e., Avidya as per Yogshastra sutra 2/5. So, we must obey our Lord, the Almighty God to follow Vedic path which is not sect.

I would like to mention here that as per SankhyaShastra sutra 3/78, Yogi gets salvation but since he is in human body, so if he in any case forgets to follow Vedic teaching, he is also declared defaulter and God, without any favour or hesitation, gives punishment to a Yogi. With the blessings of Paramguru, I got enlightentment on 19th March, 1979. I have been preaching to all, that Yogi is also not exempted by God for any default and I have also faced a long serious sickness in July. Why? Because Atharvaveda states to take care of health, with timely intake of plenty of food and water, to give rest to body, not to preach for a long time continuously etc. But, for the benefit of all concerned, I did not observe the same and preached continuously for several hours without taking food, water or timely meals. Here, it is to be noted that I forgot the order of Almighty God given in Atharvaveda. Secondly, countless blessings given to people from my side also affected my life because it is clearly stated in Shastras that acharya will have to suffer one-fourth of the pain, problems of devotees whom he blesses. Vedas and SankhyaShastra sutra 3/78 clarify that in this way also the stage of salvation of a Yogi does not end because he is a Yogi. So, he always remains a liberated soul. However, according to SankhyaShastra sutra 3/82, he is holding alive human body. Therefore, based on Prarabdh karmas, he carries on in his body. So, according to SankhyaShastra sutra 3/83, Yogi has to face the result of deeds also. But his stage of final liberation i.e., mukti will remain as it is. That is not disturbed. But the Yogi faces the result of karmas happily, peacefully and in divine pleasure stage because he has got divine knowledge of Vedas. So, everyone should be alert and strictly follow Vedic education.

So, we must always be careful to do only pious deeds (worldly as well as spiritual).

3.) Yajurved mantra 40/9:-

ANDHANTAMAHA PRA VISHANTI YEASAMBHUTIMUPASTE.
TATO BHUYA IVA TE TAMO YA UU SAMBHUTYAAMRATAHA.

Mantra states “ANDHANTAMAHA PRAVISHANTI……” that scientist who is undertaking research of nature alone gets indulged in illusion. Mantra states that the scientist most do research in nature (science etc.) along with spiritualism based on Vedas.

Yajurveda mantra 40/9 rightly states that those who do not worship formless, Almighty God described in Vedas, on the contrary, they worship prakriti, they are indulged in illusion and always remain sad. And those who are indulged only in worldly matters made of prakriti, they experience more sorrows, problems, sickness etc. So Vedas tell that only a formless, omnipresent God is to be worshipped.

Yajurveda mantra 40/9 states that those who are only indulged in the matter of science i.e., always do, research regarding sun, moon, creation, medical and other sciences etc., and do not try to realize God within them by worship, they plunge in deep darkness but those who achieve progress in science as well as spiritualism simultaneously, then with the blessings of God they overcome death and even attain salvation.

Hence, even discharging of duties is included in avidya. Therefore, those who claim that discharging of duties alone shall lead them to salvation, are wrong. God provides the proof of Yajurved mantra 40/14 where it is clear that both discharging of duties along with daily worship i.e., spiritualism are required to achieve salvation.

4.) Yajurved mantra 40/14- The mantra 40/13 preaches that Almighty God and souls are alive and remaining materialistic articles of the entire world are non-alive matters.

So, the act of alive matters (God and souls) is told to be different and similarly the act of non-alive matters is also told to be different. Idea is this that the act and result of vidya (knowledge/the alive matter connected with the knowledge and divine qualities) is separate from Avidya (ignorance and as said above). Similarly, act and result of Avidya (non-alive matters) is totally different from vidya.

Therefore, the learned must know the form of vidya and avidya and thereafter should make its use.

Further, Yajurved mantra 40/14 states-

VIDYAM CHAVIDYAM CHA YASTADVEDOBHYAM SAH.
AVIDYAYA MRITYUM TIRTVA VIDYAYAMRITAMASHNUTE.

(YEY) The man (UPASTEY) worships (AVIDYAM) to consider mortal as immortal, impure as pure, sorrows as pleasure/happiness, non-alive soul as alive (Yog shastra sutra 2/5 refers).
Yog shastra sutra 2/5 states four signs of avidya-

(i). Anitya-Nitya:- If we consider the destructive matters of the world including our body as eternal yet due to indulgence in avidya, we try to gather worldly articles and keep them forever.

(ii). Ashuchihi- Shuchi:- To consider impure matter as pure. For instance, the human body is not pure as it contains excretory materials like sweat, urine, filth in eyes, ears, nose etc., yet, we love our body and do not use it to do true worship of God, explained in four Vedas.

(iii). Dukhaha- Sukhaha:- In the absence of the worldly as well as spiritual education people always remain unsatisfied, worried and sorrowful. But when they meet anyone, they state that they are fine etc. here, the person tries to show that he is fine/alright. That is, in reality, he is sad. But shows as if he is fine etc.

(iv). Anatma- Atma:- Soul is eternal and never takes birth but takes body in the womb of adorable mother. When any death occurs everybody starts saying in ignorance (indulgence in illusion) that man-woman etc., has died. Infact, soul comes out and the body as quoted above is already destructive. Then why do we people weep. It is due to lack of knowledge of Vedas.

The reverse knowledge of above quoted avidya is called vidya i.e., to think about reality only and not illusion.

Further mantra 40/14 states (TEY) they enter the (TAMAHA) deep ignorance/illusion (ANDHAM) which covers the knowledge and (YEY) those who have (VIDYAYAM) proud of being knowledgeable (Sanskrit language, Vedas-shastras etc-etc., other education) and are (RATAHAH) indulged in illsion (TEY) they (UU) definitely (TAMAH) enter the ignorance/problems.
The mantra educates that one should be learned of the true concept of vidya and avidya.

The form of avidya-vidya should be known in detail. Vidya means knowledge of Vedas which educates us in three educations as well-

THREE EDUCATIONS

There are three educations/preach about

(i) knowledge – science etc(Gyan) in Rigved,
At the time of every creation, knowledge of four Vedas emanates direct from God and is originated in the heart of four Rishis in non-sexual creation. In the said process, first of all, the knowledge of Rigved advents and originates in the heart of Rishi Agni. In this Veda though the description of every worldly matter right from straw to God has been mentioned but it speaks especially about matters concerning science of the world. God has described qualities/nature of all materialistic articles of the universe. Therefore, the entire mankind must get the benefit of eternal knowledge of Vedas by knowing about right from straw to Brahma i.e., God. The meaning of “Ric” is that wherein the qualities and nature of all matters have been described and the meaning of Veda is knowledge i.e., true knowledge. These words are used in making the pious word “Rigved”.

(ii) In Yajurved, the form of true, pious deeds have been preached. So, in the absence of listening of Yajurved, we can’t know about real moral duties of students, married persons, vanprasthis and sanyasis. Even the moral and social obligations of King, parents, children etc., can’t be known.

(iii) In Samved there is preach about eternal true worship of God like Yajyen, name jaap, practice of Ashtang yoga by following which an aspirant realises God/attains salvation.

(iv) Atharvaved authenticates the above three vedas’ preach. It also contains comprehensive knowledge of medical science.

So, Almighty God who is formless, creates, nurses, destroys and again creates universe. This process is eternal and everlasting. So, at the time of beginning of each non-sexual, the knowledge of above four Vedas emanates direct from God and is originated in the heart of four Rishis. The knowledge is given by the God to the human-beings for their welfare/benefit because until the knowledge is given by somebody, no one can attain the knowledge. In the beginning of the creation, no preacher, guru, acharya, teacher is present there to teach. So, God gives the knowledge.

Main objective of all four Vedas is to destroy the illusion to realize God, while discharging all our moral duties. Meaning of Shiv or Sadashiv is benevolent God who is Formless, Almighty, unchangeable, unchallengeable and who alone has power to create nurse and destroy the universe and again create it. Because God was one, is one and shall always remain one. Amongst several Ved mantras, Yajurveda mantra 27/36 also states- ‘Na Jataha Na Janishyate’ i.e., equivalent to this God, neither other God was born, nor shall be born in future. Rigveda Mantra 7/104/14 also states that those who worship false God and Goddesses, God punishes them. So, we have to follow Vedic preach and not preach which is against the Vedas.

As Yajurveda Mantra 40/8 also states that God is ‘Shukram’ i.e., He was Almighty, has all power and needs no assistance to control the universe or to do any divine deeds. He alone is enough to do divine deeds. I mean to say He needs no assistance like Yamraj to award death etc., no Indra devta to cause rain etc. He is ‘Akayam’ without body, ‘Asnaviram’ i.e., without nervous system, ‘Avarnam’ i.e., no hole cannot be made into Him, ‘Shuddham’ i.e., He is the purest, it means there is no illusion which can overcome God. ‘Apaapvidham’ God is always away from all sins and from facing result of any deed etc. So, He cannot speak, because He has no mouth, tongue etc.
Actually, being Almighty when He is able to tell or to inspire the people or to make them understand about any matter without any tongue, so its necessity is not required by God. We are souls who needs assistance like tongue to speak, eye to see etc. That is why, when in the beginning of every earth, God gives knowledge of four Vedas to four Rishis then the knowledge of God with the power of Almighty God automatically is originated in the heart of four Rishis. In Vedas, there is no existence of Devi-Devta, bhoot, pret, jin, sayyad, kali, mahakali, Kalyug Maharaj, Sani Maharajji etc. Vedas only tell to worship one Formless, Almighty God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe. Yet, those who believe it and worship it they may go ahead on their own.
Luck (destiny) is always in our hands, say Vedas i.e., who works hard towards right path i.e., according to Vedas, Shastras etc., and worships God daily, he destroys the effect of previous lives’ deeds and makes his future bright. For example- Samveda mantra 830 states that he who daily offers aahutis in the yajyen/Havan with Ved mantras, he makes his future bright. Rigveda mantra 10/135/4 states that those who make contact with learned acharya of Vedas and under guidance of acharya, they destroy their sorrows and attain salvation.

Avidya means all non-alive matters which include our human-body and all science mentioned in Rigved etc. Yajurved mantra 40/14 preaches that (YAH) the learned (VED) knows (TAT UBHYAM SAHA) both together i.e., Vidya and Avidya together (SAH) he (AVIDYAYA) through avidya i.e., worldly education, science and the good acts done by human body (TIRTVA) overcomes (MRITYUM) from fear of death and (VIDYAYA) through the real knowledge (ASHNUTEY) attains (AMRITAM) salvation/realization of God. Therefore, the idea of mantra is this that one should be learned of Ved and thereafter should achieve progress in worldly pious matters, daily and spiritualism simultaneously.

Therefore, neither from avidya nor from vidya alone i.e., neither from discharging deeds/duties nor from vidya alone; can we get peaceful pleasure i.e., arth, dharma, kaam and moksh. Above quoted both the progresses are required together.

So, we must get progress in avidya i.e., in worldly matters including science, education, agriculture, politics etc., and simultaneously we must progress in vidya i.e., Vedic knowledge/spiritualism as well. Hence, if a person indulges in worldly matters alone, he cannot get peace, long, happy life and salvation etc. One-sided progress is always harmful.
