BCM: Poojya Swami ji, Namaste! It is said that if an earthworm (in Hindi Kechua)is cut in to two, its both parts live as two separate beings. Is this true? If yes, then how one soul gets divided in to two? Or how that can happen?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Soul can never be divided but rebirth procedure exists. So, if a body of any organism is divided into two parts and both parts live separately alive then another soul enters into the body, under the law of Almighty God.
Aneel: Namaskar Guru Ji. what mean by Ashtang Yoga practice (Samadhi? kindly answer this.
Swami Ram Swarup: In this regard, I paste one of my answer:-
Namasteji. There are several types of Yog but main eternal Yog philosophy which is mentioned in the eternal knowledge of Vedas is called Ashtang Yoga Philosophy.
It has eight paths named Yam, Niyam, asan, Prannayam, Pratyahaar, Dharnna, Dhyan, Samadhi. So, Dhyan is called meditation which is 7th stage of Ashtang Yog. Those who leave 1- 6 stages , they can never meditate correctly, because of breaking eternal rule of Vedas which preach to start Yoga Philosophy right from Yam. Swami Ram Swarup: There is no secret mantra but Mata Kunti was blessed by Rishi Durvasa that when she’ll remember any Devta (alive learned of Vedas and Ashtang Yoga not any non-alive matter like surya etc.). The devta will sure listen to her and come to her to fulfill her desire.
