Swami Ram Swarup: Namasteji.

Actually, those who take birth on this earth, they are involved in illusion since numerous previous lives. That is why, they are entitled to get birth again and again to face the result of previous lives’ deeds- good or bad in the shape of happiness and sorrows respectively.

Vedic path shows us the right path of pious deeds, science and worship. One who follows the same, he can attain salvation.

Jo kuch choda apney woh bahut achcha kiya lekin abhi to Indriyan saiyam ke liye bahut kuch karna baki hai. Aisee shiksha leiney ke liye ya to aap yahaan ayein ya phir maine kuch Vedic satsang ki kitaabein likhee hain, pravachan bhajan keeC.D. baniyee hain jin mein Vedic gyan hai aur indriyon ko saiyam mein lane ke liye vidya hai. aap un books ko pahle padein phir apne shahar mein hee kisi vidwan ko dhoond kar unse gyan lena shuru karein. Bhagwan apki prarthna zaroor sunega. Mein yahaan neechey ek apna article bhi paste karta hoon.

Shubh Karma

Hard working, devotion, dedication, honesty, services to the parents and elders to follow eternal religion mentioned in Vedas, practice of Ashtang Yoga, discharging moral duties to get progress in education, science simultaneously with spiritualism like, daily havan, to be in contact with the learned Acharya, to get his advice, are some of the pious deeds which make the future bright and obliterate the sorrows, problems, diseases, etc.

One must wake up early in the morning for early morning walk and exercises, must sit on meditation and chant holy name of God, must be away from any addiction and non-vegetarian. Such pious actions lead to long, happy life and bright future.

Chanting of Gayatri Mantra

Please, start the day by chanting Gayatri mantra in the early morning sitting on suitable asan like Sukhasan, Siddhasan or Padmasan etc. concentrate on the point between two eyebrows which is called “Agyachakra”. The Gayatri mantra should be chanted along with its meaning both times. Also, please try to perform daily hawan even with Gayatri mantra. Then try to study any of my books daily and put up question if any.

After 15 days chant the Gayatri mantra only thrice thereafter do the name jaap of Almighty God-“Om”. The jaap must be done daily by heart and not orally.

The Gayatri mantra is as follows —
OM BHURBHUVAHA SWAHA TATA SAVITUR VARENYAM BHARGODEVASYA DHIMAHI DHIYO YO NHA PRACHODYAT

Meaning of Gayatri mantra stating each word is as follows. Its meaning is based on Vedas and Sanskrit grammar. Grammatical hints are in short please.

Om has three Hindi words. Aa, Uu AND Ma. Aa is meant for Aakaar from which three names of God are built,Viraat, Agni, and Vishwadi. From Uu = uukar from which Hiranyagarbha, Vaayu and Tejas names occur andMa = makaar from which Ishwar, Aditya and Praajyan aadi, holy names of God occur. Rigveda mantra 1/164/46 says God is one but His names are several. But here OM the holy name of God is only being explained.

VIRAAT= Viraat word is made from dhatu ‘Rajrideeptau’ i.e., manifest. Therefore Viraat means He who manifests the universe. As God manifests the universe, thus Viraat is the name of God. Rigveda mandal 10, sukta 129 states that like potter makes pot from clay, similarly God creates universe from non-alive matter prakriti. Prakriti is unseen matter. From unseen matter, the whole universe is created in the visible form. Science also says that matter is never destroyed but changes its form. Suppose a paper is burnt, paper changes its form into ashes. Then ashes are crushed and thrown in air. At this moment, the paper changed into ashes becomes invisible but was never destroyed. Similarly the whole universe at the time of finaldestruction is turned into prakriti i.e., into unseen form.

AGNI = From dhatu, ” ANCHU GATI POOJANAYOHO” the word “AGNI is made. Its meaning is — He who is a form of wisdom. “SARVAJAYEN” i.e., omniscient. I.e., knows even every atom of universe and even beyonduniverse too. He who is to be known, to be gained and worshippable. So agni is the name of God.

VISHWA = Vishwa word is made from dhatu, “VISHPRAVESHANE”. Its meaning is in whom the universe is entering or He is entering the universe. So being omnipresent, Vishwa is the name of God.

HIRANGARBHA = i.e., ” JYOTIRVAYIHIRANYAM”. Its meaning is, who is the base of all sun, etc., luminous lokas or He who is the living place of all luminous lokas.

VAAYU = from dhatu, “VA GATIGANDHANYOHO”, vaayu word is made. Its meaning is He who holds, gives life and destroys and the mightiest amongst all. So the name of God is Vaayu.

TEJ = from dhatu, “TIJA NISHANE”, the word Tej is made who is self made and self-enlighted and gives light to sun, moon, stars etc. God does not take light from anywhere else but gives light to sun, moon, stars, etc. so the unbroken, unobstructed/unproduced and eternal shape of light is Almighty God and not sun, moon etc. So the name of God is Tej.

ISHWAR = from dhatu, “ISH ASHWERIYE”, the word Ishwar is made. Its meaning is whose knowledge is thoughtful and true and has unlimited wealth, fortune and glory etc. Therefore the name of God is Ishwar. Here it is not out of place to mention that soul (man/woman) has limited qualities and are dependent whereas God is independent and has unlimited qualities that is why He is God.

ADITYA = from dhatu, “DO AVAKHANDANE”, Aditya word is made. Its meaning is the one who cannot be broken into pieces and thus cannot be destroyed. So God’s name is Aditya.

PRAJAYEN (PRAGYA) = from dhatu, “JYEN AVABODHANE”, Prajayen word is made whose wisdom is totally without any misunderstanding and thus he who knows every Manner and behavior of whole universe without misunderstanding. So God’s name is Prajayen. So here also it not out of place to mention that illusion can never attack on God and God is totally free from illusion.

BHUHU= “BHUHU ITI VAYEE PRANAHA” i.e., He who is the base of lives of universe, is most beloved, even more than Pran i.e., breath. So Bhuhu is the name of God.

BHUVAHA= “BHUVAHA ITI APANAHA” i.e., He who is totally free from any sorrow, and with whose contact, the soul removes his all sorrow. So the name of God is Bhuvaha.

SWAHA= i.e., “SWAHA ITI VYANAHE” who is omnipresent in the universe and is holding the same. So the name of God is Swaha.

SAVITUHU = He who creates the universe. So the name of God is Savituhu.

DEVSYA= who gives all pleasure/merriment, so the name of God is Dev.

VARENYAM = He who is the most supreme and acceptable. God is most supreme and acceptable for worship.

BHARGAHA = the purest entity (though God is formless, but finding no suitable English word of Sanskrit word, “SUDH SWARUPAM” the word entity has been used.)

TAT = i.e., the God i.e., of the purest entity.

DHIMAHI = i.e., we must hold (sort of meditation) because

YAHA = the God

NAHA = our,

DHIYAHA = mind (i.e., in our minds)

PRACHODYAT = by inspiration (fulfil the mind with wisdom)

MEANING
“We meditate the God who is the base of lives’ of universe, totally free from any sorrow, omnipresent, creates the universe, gives all pleasure/merriment,most supreme and acceptable, purest entity; May the God enlighten our minds with wisdom by His inspiration”.

Here it is not out of place to mention that idea of a (one) Ved mantra is based on ideas of several Ved mantras. So in the above Gaytri mantra, there are three things —-
Bhuhu, Bhuvaha, Swaha, Savituhu, Bhargaha, Devsya are some qualities amongst unlimited qualities of God. These are called Stuti i.e., to say about God with His real qualities and not self made etc.

Secondly Dhimahi means meditation i.e., one should always sit in meditation and do hard and pious deeds for which he will have to study Vedas in full, while discharging moral duties towards family and nation.

Third and last is DHIYO YO NAHA PRACHODYAT. It is a prayer to God explanation of which is cited above.

In the above mantra we pray to God but mere prayer does not solve the purpose until we do hard work according to the prayer.

As regards pronunciation of Gayatri mantra, either you may contact any learned acharya locally or a cassette with recitation of Gayatri mantra by me can be sent to you on receipt of your postal address, if you so desire, the price of cassette will be worth Rs.20/- excluding postal charges

How to do havan

Please sit in the morning to perform havan. Havan must be in sunlight then it is more beneficial. Then half a bowl of fresh water with a tablespoon must be with you with small twigs especially of mango tree if possible, havan samagri, ghee, camphor and match box must be there with you. Please sit on sukh asan on four times folded blanket and blanket must be on mat.

Sukh asan i.e., sit on duly folded feet in comfortable position. Then first close your eyes and concentrate between two eyebrows and chant Gaytri mantra three times within heart and not by mouth. Then open your eyes.

Take one spoon of water in right palm. Chant this mantra, OM AMRTO UPASTRANMASI SWAHA and drink the water which you have put in your palm. Then again take the spoon of water in right palm then chant the next mantra, OM AMRITA APIDHANMASI SWAHA, and drink the water. Then again take the water in right palm and chant the mantra, OM SATYAM YASHAH SHRI MAYI SHRI SHRAYTAAM SWAHA, and drink the water. Then wash the right palm while sitting, with the same water kept in bowl.

Then put the twigs into havan kund with one piece of camphor and burn it. During this process chant the Gaytri mantra again and again till such time the fire is lighted sufficiently. Then chant the Gaytri mantra and at the last add the word Swaha and offer ghee with tablespoon, quantity equivalent to 4 to 5 drops. And if you are alone then also offer in fire pinch of havan samagri from your right hand’s finger and thumb avoiding forefinger. So this offering may be of 11 times, 21 times or 51 times as the time suits. It is the simplest way and I have not quoted the complete method of Yajna. The havan with Ved mantras are always offered as the best worship of God only please. Do havan daily and both times.

About Gurus

There is only one God who creates universe, nurses and destroys and again creates. Yajurveda mantra 31/7 and several other Ved mantras say that God has preached His worship in Vedas. But now a day’s most of the worships are against Vedas, as also said by Tulsidasji in his Ramayana couplet 99 (b). In the ancient times up to Mahabharat period too there were only Vedas to be adopted and worship in the form of prayer, Yajna and Ashtang yoga etc., was being practised. The ancient Rishis Munis used to give Vedas knowledge only. They lived in Gurukul in a very simple life holding unlimited knowledge of Vedas and yoga philosophy and by their Tapsya they used to give equal blessings to the world.

These Rishis Munis used to sit on one platform with whole hearted happiness. For example in Valmiki Ramayana when Rishi Vishwamitr went to King Dashrath to take Shri Ram to kill the demons to protect his holy Yajna. Then Dashrath immediately refused but Dashrath’s Guru Vashisth Muni interrupted, explained and gave order to king Dashrath to give Shri Ram to Rishi Vishwamitr. I am not giving the detailed story here. So what was the reason behind? The reason behind was only
this, that Rishi Vishwamitr as well as Guru Vashisth both were philosophers of Vedas, Yajna and Yoga philosophy. So there was no friction within their hearts. A mother and father both, without any
friction, love their newly born baby. So when all Rishis loved only one Almighty God, from whom Vedas are originated and again the Rishis loved Vedas, so no question of friction. The Rishis used to bless all people and even kings with the result everybody was happy at that time and everybody
was rich with the blessings. Now it is reverse.

The so-called Gurus are rich and most of the people are poor. In Hinduism too there are so many Devtas and thus the different types of worship. Now whatever one Guru says another one criticizes because ways are different and in reality the religion has been made profession by most of the so-called Gurus at present. When target is not true and good then how the above story of donating Shri Ram can be repeated and how all Gurus can sit on one platform. When the target is profession and not services of people through Vedas then it is impossible that so called Gurus can sit on one platform. The so-called Gurus can say at their own that their target is one but on ground it seems not to be a true. All the so-called Gurus have made their own several ashrams to command etc.

God has made universe and blessed us human body to do pious deeds only. He has not made any heaven or hell. All have to face the result of their deeds good or bad here only, even by taking rebirth. God has not only made universe but has also given knowledge of four Vedas.

True Saints

In Shatpath Brahmin Granth 3/7/3/10, written by Yask Muni it is said, “VIDWANS HI DEVAHA” i.e., he who is learned of Vedas, he is called Dev. Yajurveda mantra 40/3 says, “ASURYA NAAM TE LOKAHA ANDHEN TAMSA VRITAHA___”means on taking birth a child is called “Manushya” i.e., mankind. If he learns Vedas, does pious deeds and discharges his moral
duties well, according to Vedas then he becomes Dev. Otherwise Asur i.e., devil (demon) , one who kills the pure voice of soul and does sins. In Van Parv of Mahabharat Yaksh asked question to Yudhisthar, “KAH NASTIKAH” i.e., who is called atheist? Yudhisthar answers, he who is against and insults Vedas he is atheist (Manusmriti 2/11 also refers). So there are two kinds of men/women according to Yajurveda mantra quoted above. One, “DEV” and second “DEVIL”. So our birth is to
become Dev.

Rig-Veda mantra 10/181/1 says that in the beginning of the creation, God always originates the knowledge of four Vedas in the heart of four Rishis, then the said four Rishis spread it further and until now the eternal knowledge of Vedas is being received traditionally. The names of those four Rishis are — Agni, Vaayu, Aditya, Angira, as also mentioned in Rig Veda mantra 10/109/1 and Manusmriti shlok 1/23. This truth is also mentioned in Bhagwad Geeta wherein shlok 3/15 says that
Vedas emanate from Almighty God and in shlok 13/4 Shri Krishna says that the knowledge of soul and body is very well mentioned in four Vedas and the Rishis have described the same by many methods. In Atharvaveda mantra 2/35/1& 4 it is preached that Rishis spread the knowledge of holy Yagya (Yajna) to the people to kill their sorrows and Rishis are those, “MANTRADRISHTA ITI RISHIHI” i.e., those who have studied Vedas and Ashtang Yog practice and then realized Almighty God and seen Ved mantras in their heart, they are called Rishis. So the knowledge of the Vedas, as per Rig-Veda mantras quoted above, is given by God Himself to the Rishis and it is eternal truth and cannot be changed that is why in Yog shastra sutra, Rishi Patanjali says, “SA ESH PURVESAHM API GURUHU”. So, next to God is Rishi.

God did not give the knowledge to the present saints. In Vedas, the name of the learned are mentioned as Rishis, Muni, Vipra, Dwij, Agni, etc., and not saints. To be next to God it is necessary to have full knowledge of Vedas and Ashtang yoga, as per the rules quoted above.

To know that what is true and what is false, proof is required. Yog shastra in sutra 1/7 says about four proofs within which proof of Vedas to determine the truth is compulsory. However, it makes no
difference that if a present saint has learnt four Vedas, done ashtang yoga practice mentioned in Vedas and realized Vedas and God, then he is also next to God. If one declares his name Rishi or Brahamchari and does not know Vedas and yoga philosophy, then he is liar and cheating the public because in Shanti Parv of Mahabharat also Bhisham Pitamaha says to Yudhisthar that there are two kinds of Braham (though God is one). First, “Shabad Braham” i.e., knowledge of four Vedas, second “Par Braham” the realization of formless God Who creates, nurses and destroys the universe. So he who does not know Braham even Shabad Braham – Vedas, then how can he write himself as brahamrishi? Naturally he is cheating the public because most of the public does
not know about Vedas and the arrogant (the saints who are against Vedas) have spread
false knowledge about Vedas, Yajna and yoga philosophy.

That is why, Manusmriti 2/168 says that the saint/Guru/Dwij who does not know Vedas but studies false books, he, in his present life goes downwards i.e., experiences sorrows, sufferings etc, etc., with his followers, i.e., their followers also go down and experience the said difficulties etc., but nowadays it is also spread that God takes examination of a worshipper but such type of examinations have not been mentioned in Vedas. And Ramayana also says about such false
saints – VARAN DHARAM NAHIN ASHRAMCHARI, SHRUTI VIRODH RAT SAB NAR
NARI. Tulsidasji says that at present men and women here have become against the eternal knowledge of Vedas. Again Tulsidasji says in Uttrakand DWIJ SHRUTI BECHAK BHOOP PRAJSAN, KAU NAHIN MAN NIGAM ANUSASAN, i.e., at present mostly the people do not accept the knowledge of Vedas, present saints Gurus have sold the Vedas i.e.,
they do not know the ABCD about the Vedas.

Again in Nirukta 7/3, it is said that he who studies complete knowledge of Vedas and holy books, puts the preachings thereof into action/conduct and there after preaches
others, he is called a Rishi. It is a well-known fact that ancient Rishis used to live in a lonely place/jungle in Gurukuls/Ashram where the students used to get knowledge traditionally, the same process too was adopted by Shri Krishna, Sudama, Shri Ram and their public. It was the effect of Ved mantras on them and the effect of practising Ashtang yoga philosophy, that they used to lead simple way of life without any luxury etc. Whereas nowadays the current saints (against the Vedas)
mostly live in bigger cities where way of earning is obtained. The Rishis used to bless the people according to Ved mantra to be the richest and having all comforts in the family etc., whereas now most of the present saints say that money will do nothing, family will do nothing, house will
do nothing, cars and clothes will do nothing and they themselves take lot of money and enjoy luxuries.

The Rishis were free from illness/tension etc., Shwetashwaropnishad 2/12 and 13 says about this fact. So is it not clear that keeping the fact and proof of Ved mantra and the said upnishad in mind, those are not rishi-muni etc., who are suffering from multi-farious diseases, tension etc., and too lack the knowledge of four Vedas and Ashtang yoga philosophy mentioned in Vedas.

Study of Mahabharat, holy granth and Valmiki Ramayan reveals that usually the ancient Rishis, who lived in gurukul or in jungle used to go to the kingdom on invitation only. (Valmiki
Ramayan Bal Kand sarg 7 also refers). So it is not fair to send disciples door to door to collect money and to arrange maximum gathering/crowd. The Rishis like Vyas Muni etc., used to go mostly on foot and alone to anywhere (Mahabharat says) but now the present saints/Gurus go in a fleet of cars/groups with body guards etc., etc.

The Rishis themselves had simple living without luxury etc., but with their blessings they made people the richest whereas most of the present saints have become the richest with all luxury, gathering money/donation etc., from even poor people and public seems to be
poor.

In Brihadarnayk Upnishad there is a debate (shastrarth) between Bal Brahamcharini Gargi and Rishi Yagvalkya. This debate was organized by King Janak. The winner of debate was to be given 500 cows, gold-plated on horns. When Rishi Yagvalkya ordered his disciples to take the cows
then King Janak interrupted and requested the Rishi that these cows are meant for him who will win the debate with my supreme Acharya Gargi. King asked the Rishi whether he (Rishi) is Brahamrishi. Yagvalkya Rishi answered, O! King there was shortage of milk in my Gurukul to my students and that is why I wanted to take the cows. But if you want to ask something I am ready. There was a debate and Rishi won and got cows. This story tells that all Rishis used to ask for
donation when they needed whereas present saints even having become multimillionaires through donation, ask for more money.

In Upnishad king Janshruti met with Rishi Rakya in lonely place sitting on sand under the shadow of Bullock cart. Whereas present saints meet people sitting on highly decorated and valuable throne.
Rishi Jadbharat was sitting alone in a jungle on the earth. When he was asked to carry the palanquin (palki) putting one side on his shoulder, then he immediately became ready without any pride and
walked on foot. Mostly now this cannot be repeated.

There are maximum examples of the ancient Rishis who were Tapsvi, lovers of truth, who are adorable. As regards Brahmin, Yajurveda mantra 31/11 state that he is Brahmin who knows Vedas’ knowledge along with Ashtang Yoga and Almighty God. He performs daily Yajyen/Agnihotra with Ved mantras. He always tells truth and has complete control over his five senses, perceptions, mind
and intellect. He does not do any favour while doing justice. He always follows the path of Vedas and does pious deeds only.

Vedas’ Philosophy

God has made universe and blessed us human body to do pious deeds only. He has not made any heaven or hell. All have to face the result of their deeds, good or bad here only, even by taking rebirth. (Rigveda mantra 10/135/1, 2)

God has not only made universe but has also given knowledge of four Vedas where answers to your and everyone’s questions have been given. There are four Vedas:

1. Rig Veda – gives knowledge of science, matter of the universe like sun, moon, air, body etc., etc.

2. Yajurveda – gives knowledge of all the deeds and duties to be performed by men or women, students, leaders, king, agriculturist etc., etc., etc.

3 Samveda – gives knowledge how to worship God who gives peace and long happy life etc. In this way, details of Yoga philosophy, qualities, supreme deeds and nature of the God are also given.

4 Atharvaveda – gives details of God, medical science and details of medicine, etc.

Actually in four Vedas there is unlimited knowledge. Yajurveda mantra 40/8 says that God is
everywhere, is Almighty, formless, devoid of nervous system, purest, away from sins and away to face any result of any karmas (deeds), knows every soul, knows what is in everyone’s mind, no body has made God, but God creates universe, has given the eternal knowledge of four Vedas and always gives the said knowledge at the beginning of every universe to know the science and deeds to all concern. Similarly four Vedas say about God that God is an omnipresent, omniscient, formless, beyond imagination and beyond calculation. Actually God has unlimited qualities. There is only one God who creates, nurses, destroys the universe and again creates.

Atharvaveda mantra 4/1/1 also says that God gives the knowledge of Vedas at the beginning of the earth to four Rishis of unsexual creation. And thereafter only public listens Vedas through Rishis Munis as yet and become learned. Rig-Veda gives knowledge of Almighty, Yajurveda gives knowledge of karmas (deeds), Samveda tells about worship-Yoga philosophy and Atharvaveda
about medicines and God. Actually all Vedas commonly says about God also, so this is about Vedas in short. But the knowledge of Vedas is endless.

It is a fundamental law that knowledge is always given by somebody otherwise knowledge can’t be gained at any cost. If a new born baby is nursed well in a dense jungle and is not educated then he will not be able to gain any knowledge. So we have to think about the origin of the knowledge prevalent in the world today. In this connection all Vedas themselves say that God gives this knowledge to four Rishis. As has also been said by Rishi Patanjali in yoga shastra sutra 1/26, God is first Guru of the four Rishis.

Yajurveda mantra 31/7 also refers. This is all in short about Vedas.

The Vedas are not a book, rather it is a knowledge originated in the heart of Rishis. At the time of beginning of the earth those Rishis preached Vedas by mouth and all others remembered the same by mouth at that time there was no pen, pencil, paper, etc. This process of studying Vedas by mouth remained till Mahabharata time. Muni Vyas too remembered Vedas traditionally by mouth. Then
Muni Vyas first time wrote the Vedas on Bhoj patra about 5300 years ago. In 16th century when printing press came into existence then the Vedas were printed. Still Vedas are not those which have been printed but Vedas are those which are preached by mouth by an Acharya/yogi and the printed Vedas are called Sanhita.

Now if somebody worships a statue etc., i.e., its their own creation please but Vedas deny. According to Vedas the best worship of the God is Yajyen (Yajna) for which all Vedas are self-proof. Yajurveda mantra 31/16 says that the learned persons worship God by Yajyen.

So many people have asked me that most of the scholars/preachers of different religion state that their religion incorporates all matters of the world including science. What about Vedas? I
wrote so many Ved Mantras describing science matters therein. For example, Yajurvaveda
Mantra 3/6 states “Ayam Gauhu Swaha Pitram Puraha Prayan Mataram Prishnihi
Aakrameet Asadat”.

Meaning= This earth revolves around the Sun in the space and it also rotates on its own axis. Vedas are eternal like God because Vedas emanate from God. Now, according to Vedas, this present
creation is about 1 Arab, 96 crores, 8 lakh and about 53,000 years old. So are the Vedas but as said in Rigveda Mantra 10/191/3 the present creation is same as was the previous one and this process of creation is eternal. So are the Vedas which emanate from eternal God. This all concludes that Vedas are the oldest in this creation also and no other book of science, maths or pertaining to spiritualism is written before Vedas.

Like the above example of rotation and revolution of earth, the significance of whole present science is mentioned in Vedas. We can see that whatever is happening in the universe, is all
according to the Vedas. For example, occurrence of six seasons, actions of Sun, moon, process of death, birth, worship, yoga philosophy, atomic energy, agriculture, animal husbandry, knowledge of politics, administration, architecture, solar energy, knowledge of home appliances like mixer, grinder, business rules, about men, women, children, marriage, Brahamcharya, education, clothes etc., etc., i.e., knowledge right from a straw to Brahma is all in Vedas. God is Almighty and has unlimited powers. So through His power He is able to originate the knowledge of Vedas in the heart of four Rishis without pencil, paper, help of mouth or any other worldly assistance.

We, i.e., the whole world depends on Almighty God but God is forever independent. That is why, He is God. We are the souls who reside in human bodies. We need assistance of senses, perceptions,
mind and body to do deeds but not God.

Nowadays, so many saints are writing books. What is the background to right their books? Background is clear that they have first studied or listened the preach from their Gurus, keeping aside the matter of truth or falsehood. And after studying or listening the same, they became able to write the books. So this is also fundamental law, based on which, the ancient Rishis first listened Vedas and when they became learned then only they wrote the Vedic books like Valmikee Ramayana, six shastras, Mahabharata (Bhagwad Geeta), Upanishads, etc., etc. So, first the knowledge of Vedas is initiated in the universe and afterwards other books come
into existence.

Somebody may say that human beings have knowledge by their nature to create anything like books etc., but we see that the newly born baby who is nursed in a jungle, in the absence of knowledge
of a learned person, he becomes incapable to do anything. Thus, he can’t be M.A, M.Sc, doctor etc. So there are two types of the words and meanings. First, eternal which are from Almighty God and second, natural made by human beings. Eternal word meanings are always from Vedas i.e., from God. After listening/studying Vedas, human-beings become learned and then too based on their own natural knowledge, they make their own words and meanings, literature etc. But it is very much clear that in the absence of knowledge of Vedas, no one can become learned. Nowadays, also people live in dense jungle and do not lead a civilized life because they are not learned as cited above. Vedas are not sects because they emanate direct from God and God is one for all human
beings. God creates sun, moon, air, water, food etc., which are meant for the best use of all human-beings for their long, happy life. So are the Vedas.

So all human beings must accept Vedas as an eternal knowledge from God, for the benefit of whole
creation.

SIXTEEN SANSKARS AS PER VEDAS

Soul residing within body is an eternal, immortal, indestructible matter. It is the body which perishes, is subjected to death and decay and finally burnt in the flames of pyre. But soul abandons the body on death and enters another body according to previous lives’ deeds (karmas). Atharvaveda mantra 7/67/1 and 5/1/2 say about rebirth. The mantras say that if a person does pious deeds according to Vedas, shastras and holy books, then he gets human life again with all happiness to continue worship. Geeta shloka 13/8 also enumerates birth-death, old- age, disease as sources of sorrow. Yog shastra sutra 2/9 also states death to be the biggest cause of sufferings and distress. However, with the grace of God, man has taken birth to mitigate and finally remove all sufferings and distress.

There is no doubt that Vedas are the most ancient holy texts on the earth in which God Himself has explained the secrets of all universal matters, both worldly and spiritual, such as responsibility – actions/ deeds, science, worship etc., to man. Since the beginning of earth Aryans have been knowing the date of process of creation of universe and this fact has even been hinted in Yajurveda mantra 15/65. Accordingly, the age of present earth dates back to approximately 1 arab 96 crores 8 lakh 53 thousand one hundred and eleven years.

At the beginning of each creation, the knowledge of 4 Vedas emanates from God and is originated in the heart of four Rishis. (Rigveda mantra 10/109/1 and 10/181/1 refer). This is the reason that God has been called as first Guru of four Rishis (as per Yog shastra sutra 1/26) and after that Rishis and Munis give the knowledge of Vedas to human beings traditionally. For that matter Vedas knowledge is eternal which emanates directly from God and it is most important for human beings to do deep study of Vedas. Just as father does everything which is in the best interest of his children, similarly God is father to whole world and He does the best for the welfare of mankind selflessly by creating universe and providing all material to live upon. In fact it is for the welfare of mankind that God has given the eternal knowledge of four Vedas to whole mankind. Moreover, God has given the knowledge of 16 sanskars in Vedas to remove innumerable sufferings/sorrows of humans in the form of old age, diseases, birth death and so on.

Since these sanskars have been elaborated in Vedas, therefore study of Vedas is imperative to know about these sanskars. By sanskar it is meant that just as a child erases any incorrect thing written with pencil and then writes correct word on the same rubbed place similarly on performing sanskars any bad deed causing sorrows etc., imprinted on chitta gets erased and pious, beneficial sanskars get imprinted on chitta which leads to destruction of all bad karmas and consequently soul escapes from facing the outcome of bad karmas i.e. sorrows.

In fact, the soul enjoys happiness which is the result of pious good karmas. Sanskar ceremony is performed in Yajyen only thus Yajyen and Acharya possessing eternal knowledge of Vedas are indispensable for performing sanskars. This statement can be supported by a historical example that all sanskars of Sri Ram were performed by Guru Vasishth and of Sri Krishna by Rishi Sandeepan and other rishis and so is the case of all ancient public. It is through the performance of these sanskars that the soul conquers above quoted problems like birth-death, old age, disease etc. While performing each sanskar, divine blessings are showered by both, God and Acharya/learned possessing knowledge of Vedas on one to all participating in ceremony i.e., children, young and elderly people for a long, happy life etc. However due to lack of knowledge of Vedas and thus under the influence of most of the saints of present times, who are against the Vedas, the public has deviated from true path and abandoned performance of these sanskars, study and listening of Vedas and practice of ashtang yoga and consequently this ignorance has put a question mark over the bright future of people all over the world which was made bright by performing the sanskars. Yajyen is indispensable for the performance of each of the 16 sanskars which may be elaborated as under –

1. Garbhadhan Sanskar –
Each person attains birth according to his/her previous lives’ deeds and accordingly suffers sorrows or enjoys happiness. Vedas are accepted by all ancient rishis as self -proof i.e., if the matter is mentioned in Vedas, that all is true and needs no other proof therefore Vedas prove the fact that if sanskars are done at right time, this pious act liquidates the sorrows which have to be suffered based on the previous birth’s deeds and hence sanskars lead to building of a new phase of life, devoid of sorrows. On the same lines, garbhadhan sanskar brightens the future of the child who is to take birth. For example, during this sanskar, there is a prayer in the shape of mantras addressed to God that Oh! God all the sins done by me till date may kindly be liquidated. I repent for all the sins done by me till date. In the same manner there are so many prayers which are the best and most helpful to remove the ill effect of sins from the lives of the persons who have committed sins. No doubt, that mere prayer will not finish all the sins but performing Yajyen in the sanskar in the rightist way and in the presence of Acharya who knows Vedas, minimizes sins (about 810) as per Samveda mantra 495 and regular Yajyen, listening to Vedas preach and practice of yoga philosophy as per Vedas sure obliterates all the sins and the aspirant gets salvation but if we do not perform any sanskar and thus we are lacking the knowledge of Vedas, then no doubt our future is dark.

In this sanskar, the Acharya (learned guru of Vedas), husband – wife, parents, followers of learned guru along with as many people having faith in God and Vedas, sit in yajshala to offer aahutis in pious fire of Yajyen. All such prayers are showered with pious and beneficial result of such offerings. In this connection Samveda mantra 104 says that he who offers aahuti in vedi (burning fire in havan kund) he is saved from illusion and enemies etc. All this puts excellent effect on the child who is to take birth. Valmiki Ramayana and Tulsikrit Ramayana prove the fact that king Dashrath got garbhadhan sanskar done of his wives with the blessings of Shringi Rishi and was blessed with four sons who were great warriors, gentle, God fearing, wielding good character and with other several good qualities and were known as gems of society.

2. Punsvan Sanskar –
This sanskar is performed after garbhadhan sanskar when a woman becomes pregnant. In this sanskar offerings are made in pious fire of Yajyen and is performed in second or third month to ensure the stability of pregnancy.

3. Seemantonnayan Sanskar –
It is performed in fourth, sixth or eighth month of pregnancy. In this sanskar offerings of khichdi i.e., a dish prepared by boiling of rice and dal together are also added along with other offerings of ghee and samagri.

4. Jaatkarma Sanskar –
It is performed on the same day when the child takes birth accompanied by offerings to the holy fire. The child is to take ghee and honey in optimum quantity i.e., in the ratio 1:4. “OM” is written on the tongue of newly born child either with thin neem stem or thin stick of gold.

5. Naamkarann Sanskar –
This sanskar is performed after 101 days counted from the day on which the child takes birth or in the second year. In this sanskar all the family members along with learned Acharya and other devotees perform Yajyen and together choose a pious name for the child from Vedas, attributing all good sanskars on the child, in the Yajyen.

6. Nishkramann Sanskar –
This sanskar is performed after one and a half months or four months. In this child is exposed to fresh, pure air outside the house. Mother of the child for the first time comes out of the house with the baby.

7. Annaprashan Sanskar –
This sanskar is performed after 6 months from the day child takes birth. After this pious sanskar child is offered with solid food comprising khichdi etc. and prior to this sanskar child is only fed on milk because the intestines of the child are weak and are not capable of digesting any food other than milk before 6 months of age.

8. Choodakarm Sanskar (Mundan Ceremony) –
In this sanskar, all hair on the head of the child, that have been there since he was nourished in mother’s womb are removed by barber while performing holy Yajyen. These hair are removed either in the first year of birth or in the third year. Round about two and a half years of age, child has about 20 teeth in his mouth. Due to growth of teeth, child suffers heaviness and heat in his head, the gums are swollen and he may also suffer loose motions. Owing to all this, child displays irritated nature. Thus to overcome all these problems, his hair are removed. Moreover it is essential to remove the hair from child’s head which he holds since the time he was nurtured in his mother’s womb. The hairs are removed while chanting Ved mantras and the whole ceremony is conducted while performing Yajyen.

9. Karnnavedh Sanskar –
It implies piercing the ear–lobe. This sanskar is done in third or fifth year of age. As in the case of previous sanskars this is also done in Yajyen ceremony. Mantras bless the child with long life, happiness and wealth. This sanskar leads to controlling of disease of hernia as well.

10. Upnayan Sanskar –
In this sanskar, male/female child is made to wear sacred thread (janeyu/ yajyopaveet). This sanskar is done in 6-8 years of age and the child is given deeksha of Gayatri mantra/guru mantra and henceforth child is called dwij (one who has been given second birth by the Acharya). The word dwij implies second. First birth is given to child by parents but as stated above, second birth is assumed to be given to the child by his Acharya while giving deeksha, who upholds the status of spiritual father. After performing the sanskar, the child goes to school to attain education. In ancient times, the child went to gurukul after performing this sanskar. Yajopaveet has 3 threads which educate the child to control rajo, tamo, sato gunn of the prakriti. The child is educated by the acharya to effectively control these three gunnas of prakriti which in turn lead to effective control over senses, perceptions and mind, anger, pride, laziness, etc.

11. Vedarambh Sanskar –
This sanskar is more or less like upnayan sanskar and may be performed along with upnayan sanskar. After the performance of Yajyen, complete in all respects, male/female child remain under the control and care of learned Acharya who knows Vedas and has full control on 5 senses, 5 organs and mind. Then the Acharya starts giving preach of 4 Vedas. This preach includes academic education, moral duties to inspire pious deeds, to discharge duties to serve parents, society, all humans and the nation including spiritualism.

12. Samavarttan Sanskar –
When male/female child, after strictly following the rules of brahamcharya, complete their education at higher levels, then this sanskar is performed. It may be compared to the present times CONVOCATION ceremony after passing out from university etc.

13. Vivah Sanskar –
Marriage is also a turning point of the life. So it has also not to be started without getting blessings of almighty GOD. This blessing according to eternal philosophy of Vedas is only obtained while performing a holy Yajyen with Ved mantras. Thus this pious Yajyen gives sanskar to the bride and bridegroom, which also helps the couple to obtain a long, happy family life. There must not be any child marriage. The minimum age of the marriage of a boy must be 25 years and that of girl 18 years. There are 8 types of marriages:–

Method of Mandap and Marriage –
Marriage period can be divided into three parts child marriage, adolescent marriage and marriage at mature age. Child marriage which relates to marriage at the age earlier to the age of adolescence should never be performed.

Hindu religion is based on eternal philosophy of Vedas and this philosophy is well briefed in six shastras and Manusmriti etc., written by rishis who were philosophers of Vedas, did practice of ashtang yoga, realized God and Ved mantras within their heart. Those ancient rishis were like Manu, Atri, Kambadh, Matang, Patanjali, Vasishth, Vyas Muni, and dignitaries like Shri Ram, Shri Krishna, Mata Sita, brahmacharinni Gargi who was Guru of king Janak and so many other ancient rishis and Raj rishis. In between there came a time, i.e., about 5000 years ago and thereafter people started following smritis and shastras and now a days India mostly depends on the present saints and present holy books written between 3000 years time. So there are three types of periods:
eternal– based on Vedas, middle period– based on smritis and shastras/karam kand and present period– which we are observing, whatsoever is going on, i.e., mostly against the Vedas and smritis.

However, according to the eternal philosophy of Vedas, child marriage is not permitted. The age of marriage of boy is plus 25, 33 and 44 years up to which one has to be perfect in Brahmacharya and for girls the age is above 18 years. In middle period and present period, the custom of child marriage against Vedas started. Reason may be any, which has created a huge loss to humanity. In Manusmriti shloka 3/21, eight types of marriages have been stated, but of eight last two are prohibited:
1. Brahma Vivah (marriage) — It is self decided marriage by girl. In this girl is married while performing holy yajyen with the best learned boy searched by parents or herself and no dowry.

2. Dev Vivah — in this marriage holy yajyen is performed and to perform the yajyen, number of learned boys are also invited. And in this marriage some good articles, clothes etc., are donated whereas in above stated Brahma marriage nothing is donated.

3. Aarsh Vivah — in this marriage the father of bridegroom takes nothing and marriage is performed in holy yajyen.

4. Prajapatya Vivah — in a holy yajyen, learned person and parents do marriage and advice both (boy and the girl) to continue their family life religiously. In this marriage all the married learned persons give blessings to newly married couple.

5. Asur Vivah — while performing holy yajyen marriage is performed and the parents of girl give some dowry to bridegroom. It is not blessed by learned persons due to the involvement of dowry system, etc.

6. Gandharv Vivah — where there is no Yajyen and presence of any other person except girl and the boy. Both agreed to marry and continue family life.

7. Rakshas Vivah — when a girl is forcefully taken and marriage is done, it is also not admitted by learned persons and is not religious.

8. Paishach Vivah — in a lonely place if a girl is met while sleeping or she is mad etc., and someone outrages her modesty. It is also not admitted by learned persons and is not religious.

These marriages are according to Manusmriti shlok 3/21.

Marriage is a religious function. In this religious function, the holy yajyen with Ved mantras is performed. The Ved mantras are also recited concerning the future family life of couple which makes pious effects on both hearts. It is performed by a learned person who knows Vedas. The following custom is performed. The welcome of whole barat and specially of bridegroom in mandap. The best seat is offered to bridegroom by bride, water is given to wash the hands, mouth and feet and to do achmann, system of donation of cow. Bridegroom also gives heartily respect to the bride. The yajyen in full respect is performed. Pannigrahnn custom is performed when bridegroom takes hand of bride, while reciting Ved mantras.

In Ved mantras, there are promises to be fulfilled like offering whole life by both to each other while doing pious deeds according to Vedas. Then both go around the holy fire of yajyen along with which holy Ved mantras are recited and offering of ghee and havan samagri is continued in the fire. Then the custom of Shila arohann is done which implies that bride should be firm like a stone in the matter of discharging of her moral duties towards family etc. Then the custom of Phere is done. Then Saptpadi i.e., to go together up to seven steps, within the voice of Ved mantras wherein good advices are given. Then other customs are done. Mandap is made in both the houses i.e., in the house of bride and bridegroom too. Then barat i.e., bridegroom and their relatives, friends etc., reaches the house of parents of bride. The mandap, is already made in the house of bride. It is mostly made of bamboos or sticks etc., duly decorated. In the middle of the mandap, a Yajyen kund is placed in which pious fire is generated wherein Yajyen is done offering aahuti of ghee and havan samagri etc.

Four small plates, four small bowls and one bowl of ghee, four small spoons, one big spoon, about one kg pure ghee, the dry twigs of mango tree, four packets of havan samagri, match box, camphor, one hand fan, a big bowl full of water, Yajopaveet (sacred thread) turmeric powder, wheat flour, roli (a powder prepared from a mixture of turmeric and lime used to decorate the havan kund and mandap). Mandap comprises of four seats (asans) on ground to be occupied by purohit and others who will perform the marriage function, two wooden seats to be occupied by bride and bridegroom, flower garlands, sweets and boiled rice are already kept. The said articles are used in the decoration of mandap and to perform the holy Yajyen and to perform the marriage function, this is all in short please.

During the Vedic period there was no child marriage. Due to the lack of knowledge of Vedas, the child marriage started. The marriage is a religious function and is performed while doing holy Yajyen with Ved mantras. When barat reaches the residence of bride’s parents, the bride gives pious seat to the bridegroom, water to wash the feet, hands, mouth. Water is given for three ACHMAN (intake of water with Ved mantras). In optimum ratio, curd, honey, and ghee (3:1:1) is served to the bridegroom. Cow is donated by the bride’s parents. Pitcher full of fresh water is placed, at the place where holy Yajyen is performed for the marriage.

PANIGRAHAN means bridegroom takes the hand of bride and the Ved mantras are recited. AGNIPARIKRAMA i.e. the couple moves around the burning fire of havan kund in which the AAHUTIS (offerings) are given by Ved mantras. SHILA AROHAN i.e. one step is put by bride on the hardest stone which means she is educated that she has to carry on the family life with firm mind like a stone. LAJA-HOM means walking around the pious fire. SAPTAPADI – in this process, the couple slowly -slowly takes 7 steps together with Ved mantras. Then couple sees shining sun together. Then the bridegroom touches the heart of the bride. Then the couple sees the DHRUV and ARUNDHATI stars together. This pious marriage is performed as stated above, while performing a long holy Yajyen while reciting Ved mantras.

14. Vanprasth Sanskar –
After discharging all moral duties in married life between 25 and 50 years of age, Vedas say to enter Vanprasth ashram. It means one should go towards jungle (lonely place) for deep study of Vedas and practice of ashtang yoga. Vanprasth ashram teaches that one should now keep oneself separate from family life, to devote full life time to worship GOD according to Vedas’ philosophy. At this pious occasion a great holy Yajyen from ved mantras is performed in the presence of society.

15. Sanyas Sanskar –
Sanyas is the last stage of life. Sanyas is attained by a complete ascetic. A sanyasi is to serve whole of the society, sanyas does not mean that he is sitting idle. He is not meant only to say that he has left the world. Actually sanyasi leaves his married life but he is to look after the whole family of the world. Sanyas is taken either at the age of 75 or at any age when he realizes himself a firm ascetic. In sanyas complete Vedic knowledge and asceticism is the base because he has to spread the true knowledge in the society. A Yajyen is performed in presence of the society and thus the sanyas is given. It is very lengthy procedure and therefore cannot be mentioned here.

16. Antyeshti Sanskar –
Antyeshti is also a pious sanskar. When soul goes out from the body and body thus becomes dead then cremation is called antyeshti sanskar. This is also done while offering aahutis, in burning pyre (chitta), of Ved mantras mentioned in 39th chapter of Yajurveda.

After death

Yajurveda mantra 3/55, says, “DEVAIYAH JANAH NAH PUNAH MANAH DADATU” i.e., by blessings (preach and true education of Vedas) may learned Acharya give us next birth of human being so that we may again be able to learn the truth of Vedas and to get salvation. So one must always adopt true path by which he gets rebirth of human being to continue the real
spiritualism to get salvation etc., because Atharvaveda mantra 9/10/16 further says that human being who has done pious deeds and adopted true path they get pious human body in the next birth, otherwise soul gets the lowest/contemptible body, like animals, birds etc. Mantra is APAANG PRAANGETI SWDHAYAA GRIBHITAH AMARTYO MARTYENAA SAYONIHI. TA SHASHVANTA VISHUCHINA VIYANTA NYA NYAM CHIKYURN NI CHIKYURNYAM.

Soul according to its good or bad deeds(APANGETI) takes bodies of animals, birds, insects etc., and (PRANG) bodies of Rishis, Munis, i.e., (uuch Yoni) best bodies after leaving the present body. The soul (SWDHAYAA GRIBHITAH) duly attached with its own power of taking birth according to pious deeds and sins, enters other bodies (AMARTAYAH) though the soul is away from death, being immortal but after death of bodies, takes new bodies. These ideas of Vedas has very well been mentioned in Bhagwad Geeta shlok 2/20 wherein Yogeshwar Shri Krishna says (AJO NITYAH SHASHWATOAYAM PURAANNO NA HANYTE HANYAMANNE SHARIRE ) i.e., the soul is (AJAH NITAYAH SHASHWATOH) never takes birth and is eternal (NAHANYATE HANAYMANNE SHARIRE) in fact after death of body too soul is never dead being immortal. (TASHASHVANTA) this process of death and birth of bodies and souls is eternal.

(VISHUCHINA VYANTA) soul and bodies go far away to different directions [soul goes to Savita etc., {given below} according to Yajurveda chapter 39 and then takes birth and gets another body and five elements of body go to space and are mixed within air, fire etc., according to Yajurveda mantra 40/15] (ANYAM NICHIKYHU) many learned know about this fact (ANYAM NICHIKYHU) another who lack knowledge of Vedas, do not know the fact, i.e., we mostly know our body but not ourselves, i.e., soul. Death is sure i.e., the body will have to be cremated one day.

In Atharvaveda mantra 8/8/11 ‘Yamdut’ means = ‘YAM’ means God, and ‘dut’ means storm, cyclone, flood, earthquake, heavy rains, etc., etc., in mantra the air is Yam. So when a soul is to leave the body then by the power of God, sutratma air enters the body and takes the soul out of it then goes to Savita, etc.

In 39th chapter of Yajurveda the process of this cremation is mentioned. This process is also called as “NARMEDH YAJYEN”, “PURUSH MEDH YAJYEN” and “DAH KARAM” and “ANTEYESHATI KARAM”. Atharvaveda mantra 10/8/26 says “YEH CHAKAR SAH JAJAR” means He (God) who makes the body, He destroys the same one day. Sense of Yajurveda mantra 39/5 is that when the soul leaves the body then the soul wanders in so many places, takes another body according to its previous deeds (karmas). Yajurveda mantra 39/6 says that the soul after leaving the body, on the first day goes to Savita (sun), second day agnihi (fire), third Vaayu (normal air), fourth Aditya, fifth chandrma (moon), sixth ritu (seasons), seventh marutah, eighth brihaspati (tiniest air), ninth mitrah (breathing), tenth varunah (udan air), eleventh indrah (electricity), twelfth Vishvedevah (in all divine qualities). Then, after wandering in sky, gets body according to previous deeds. So these twelve days are completed, then after 13 days the soul takes another body. Rigveda mandal 10 sukta 135 says that normally soul after getting body faces the result of its past lives’ deeds and under influence of illusion (duly attracted towards illusion) does sins and again gets birth to face the sins. The soul is immortal and always separate from body. When an aspirant meets with a learned Acharya and gets spiritual education, then the fourth mantra says that the soul gets salvation.

Kunadlini activation

Mere study of Vedas and other holy Granths does not help in attaining the purpose until we put into practice the preach given therein, in daily life. Realization is only possible after tapsya like Yajyen, daily worship, brahmacharya and daily hard yoga practice etc. According to four Vedas and Patanjal Yoga Darshan and also based on my personal experiences, it is not an easy task to awaken the kundalni. I cannot give brief here, being secret one but I can only tell here that kundalni is a part of body and it reaches at murdha to open the path of brahmrandra , where a yogi realizes God. Murdha is a point at forehead, between two eyebrows , where ida and pingla nadi meet. Kundalni is awakened after long Ashtang yoga practice. Some say that it is a matter of three months. See that God is called Atithi in Vedas. Atithi means He who has no date of His visit i.e., you can not fix date for appointment. If we say for three months or so, it means we have ordered God to be present before us within three months where as Atharvaveda mantra 4/30/3 states that after seeing the good quality and tapsya etc., of an aspirant God Himself makes the aspirant able to realize Him at any date which is fixed by God and not by man.

Hence, time bound Kundalni Jagran is not possible as no one can give order to God. Geeta book says, “BAHUNAAM JANAMNA ANTE” means after so many births aspirants realizes God. So yoga should be learnt and practised faithfully. It is up to God and Guru jee when kundalini is awakened. Because awakened means realization of God.

Mantras to awaken kundalani

Mere study of Vedas and other holy Granths does not correct the purpose until we put into practice the preach given therein, in daily life. And realization is only possible after Tapasya like Yajyen, daily worship, brahamcharya and daily hard yoga practice etc. according to four Vedas and Patanjal Yog Darshan. Based on my personal experience, it is not an easy task to awaken the kundalini. I cannot give complete description in this book, being confidential but I can only tell here that kundalni is a part of body and it reaches at murdha to open the path of brahmrandra, where a yogi realizes God.

Murdha is a point at forehead, between two eyebrows, where ida and pingla nadi meet. Hence time bound Kundalni Jagran is not possible as no one can give order to God.

Geeta book says, “BAHUNAAM JANAMNA ANTE” means after so many births aspirants realizes God. So yoga should be learnt and practised faithfully. It is up to God and Yogeshwar Acharya when kundalini is awakened because awakened means realization of God. So one must listen to Vedas, must do the pious deeds according to Vedas, must do daily hawan, Yajyen, must recite holy name of God daily and must do hard practice of Ashtang Yoga under guidance of learned Acharya so that his kundalini gets awakened.

As per eternal knowledge of the Vedas which emanates direct from God, Vedas are called “self-proof”. Samadhi means realisation of God which has eight parts i.e., Yam, Niyam, Asan, Pranayam, Pratyahar, Dharnna, Dhyan, Samadhi.

The person who has attained Samadhi means he has overcome all worldly illusion which is created by rajo, tamo and satto gunn of prakriti and such yogi realises Almighty God within their heart. All their deeds of previous lives- whether good or bad are burnt and such yogi never tells lies. In this category Sri Ram, Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj, Vyas Muniji, Guru Vasishth i.e., several Rajrishis and Rishis got the Samadhi by following eternal Vedic path only and world knows their character and knowledge very well. Samadhi gives eight siddhis i.e., Anima, Garima, Mahima, Laghuma, Ishisht, Vishishth, Prakamya, Prapti. So qualities of said siddhis are divine.

You see that any yogi who has done the above worship will never tell that he has acquired the quality of flying. It is the best known by yogi like Maharishi Dayanandji or others. This is their matter to tell whether they have that quality or not and whether they want to disclose it or not, whether they want to use this quality or not. A Yogi has several divine qualities like to make his body like an atom or to increase it to largest size etc. but it is yogi’s matter, as quoted above. When a person becomes Yogi, God blesses him with several divine qualities as mentioned in Yajurveda chapter 7 and in yog Shastra sutra 3/45.

God (Ishwar)

Though at present, according to the views of the present saints, there is – Advaitwad, Vishisht Advaitwad, Dvaitwad but eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God only preaches “Traitvad”. In Traitwad, there exist three matters:

(1) God(Ishwar)

(2) Souls( Jeev)

(3) Prakriti(Prakriti)

God and souls are alive whereas Prakriti is non-alive matter.

Advaitwad was introduced 1,220 years ago by Shankaracharya. Vishisht Advaitwad about 935 years ago by Ramanujacharya and Dvaitwad was introduced about 809 years ago by Madhvacharya.

However, it will have to be considered deeply that Traitwad mentioned in Vedas is eternal as knowledge of Vedas emanates direct from God and not by any Rishi, Muni, Yogi, man, woman, saint, satguru etc. So Traitwad is not man made but it is God–made.

In the present scenario, certainly it has become a problem to define God so as to worship Him. In this connection, one thing is clear that God creates the universe so His creation cannot imagine or create its own God. God creates living beings’ bodies wherein only human beings are entitled to worship God. The mind of human beings is made of Prakriti. So, mind is creation and human mind cannot make or imagine its own God.

Secondly, if a person goes to an unknown place where nobody knows him then it is necessary that the person will have to introduce himself there. Without his introduction none will be either able to know him or imagine/create his (person’s) name, nature, qualities, identity etc., themselves. I mean to say that to know about the God, the above quoted two points are not applicable then WHO WILL KNOW THE GOD?

Answer is he whom the God, Himself makes able to know, he only can know the God. Now, question arises is there any provision where God introduces Himself and to whom? Answer is Yes, if an aspirant desires to know the God, strives hard in his path and studies all the religious books of the world then it would be revealed that the answer of the above two points (God is not imagined by anyone and not made known by any person) is given in Vedas for example Rigveda Mandal 10, Sukta 181 that in the beginning of every creation, the knowledge of four Vedas is originated in the heart of four Rishis by the God only wherein God Himself introduces Him. The said process is eternal and automatic.

Now, it will be a vast topic to explain about creation which has already been explained several times in my other books and in this book as well. Here, it is stated that God has introduced Himself in Four Vedas about His divine names, deeds, power, nature, worship, qualities, etc.

For example, God in Samveda mantra 265 states- (ANDHASAHA MADESHU) i.e., he who is the reason to generate divine food i.e., spiritualism and divine pleasure. (MAHA) the greatest (VICHETSAM) alive and having unlimited knowledge (SHAKINAM) Almighty (INDRANAM NAAM) whose name is Indra.

God states further in the above mantra that Oh! Man and Woman (GIRA ABHI GAYA) you eulogise and worship the said God with your voice. (YATHA) according to (SHRUTYAM) Vedas’ (VACHAHA) divine voice.

Meaning: He who is the reason to generate divine food i.e., spiritualism and divine pleasure for those who worship Him. Who is the greatest in universe, alive and having unlimited knowledge, who is Almighty and whose name is Indra, Oh! Man and woman, you eulogies and worship the said God with your voice according to Vedas’ divine voice.

Idea: Samveda is considered the greatest Ved amongst the four Vedas. This Ved mainly states about the eternal worship of God wherein Yajyen, name jaap of God, Ashtang Yoga Philosophy has been mentioned. Hence, in this mantra also Almighty God tells the human beings to worship the God whose divine qualities, power and nature has been mentioned in the Vedas.

That is why, God stresses in this mantra that Oh! Human being describe eulogies/chant about the God exactly as has been mentioned in the Vedas.

Though the names and the qualities of Almighty God as per Rigveda mantra 1/164/46 are unlimited but some of His qualities are mentioned below:

(1) He creates, nurses and destroys the universe,

(2) Atharvaveda Kand 13, Sukta 4, Prayaye 6, mantra 16 states that God is one for whole universe. Mantra further states, there are not 2, 3 or 4 Gods, He is only one.

YAJURVEDA MANTRA 40/8:

“SA PRAYYAGAACHHUKRAMKAYAMVRANNAMSNAVIRAM SHUDHAMPAAPVIDHAM.

KAVIRMANISHI PARIBHUHU SWAYAMBHURYATHATATHYATOARTHAN VYADDHACHHSHVATIBHYAHA SAMAABHYAHA”

Yajurveda mantra 40/8 states that God is “SHUKRAM” Almighty, “AKAYAM” i.e., bodiless, so does not take birth, “AVRANNAM” hole less and can not be converted into any part, so soul is also not a part of God, “ASNAVIRAM” i.e., without nervous system, etc., “APAAPVIDHAM” sinless and does not love to those who are sinners, “PARI + AGAAT i.e., omnipresent, “KAVIHI” omniscient, “MANISHIHI” knows thoughts of every soul “PARIBHUHU” who keeps behind the culprits/sinners “SWAYAMBHUHU” who is eternal/beyond death and birth/has no father, mother etc.,

“SHAASHVATIBHYAHA SAMABHYAH” for eternal living beings, “YATHATATHYATAH” with truth, “ARTHAN” gives knowledge of all through Vedas, “VYADADHAAT” preaches, “SAH” He is God.

All Vedas like Yajurveda mantra 31/7 clarify that knowledge of Vedas emanates direct from God at the beginning of universe. So the qualities quoted above in respect of adorable Almighty God are also eternal, unchangeable, and true. Conclusion of the mantra will automatically state that God never takes birth etc. so avtarvad is not possible please. I also paste an article of mine on avtarvad for your knowledge.

As regards karmas Yajurveda mantra 7/48 states that we are free to do pious deeds or sins but result is awarded in happiness or sorrows respectively by God. One must not depend on anybody that somebody will come to give salvation. The dignitaries like Shri Ram, Shri Krishna and Mata Sita etc., did hard deeds without wasting a second. So we must also follow their path to do the hard work towards right path.

“ TADEVAGNISTADADITYASTADVAYUSTADU CHANDRAMAHA,

TADEV SHUKRAM TAD BRAHMA TAAAPAHA SA PRAJAPATIHI.”

(YAJURVEDA MANTRA 32/1)

The God is omniscient, everlasting, source of divine pleasure, immortal, pure, kind, supreme judge, creator of universe, bearer and maintainer of universe. He is (Agni) i.e., omnipresent, (Aditya) form of light and immortal (Vayu) has unlimited divine power and holds the universe, (CHANDRAMA) form of divine pleasure and gives the same to the worshipper (SHUKRAM) alive and Almighty (BRAHMA) most supreme (Aapah) omnipresent (Prajapati) lord of all living beings.

“NA TASYA PRATIMA ASTI YASYA NAAM MAHADYASHAHA

HIRANNYAGARBHA ITYESH MA MA HINSEEDITYESHA YASMAANN JAAT ITYESHAHA.”

(YAJURVEDA MANTRA 32/3)

God can not be measured. So there cannot be His statue because statue is measurable.

God contains the root of everlasting knowledge in all respects. He is supreme that is there is no other who is like God. That is why, all the knowledge observed in the universe emanates from God in the shape of four Vedas.

Rishi Pantanjali writes in Yoga Shastra sutra 1/26 “SA ESHAHA POORVESHAMAPI GURUHU KAALENANVACHCHEDAT” i.e., God is the first Guru (teacher) of the ancient four Rishis named Agni, Vayu, Aditya and Angira at the beginning of creation. Sutra 1/24 states “KLESHKARMVIPAKASHYAIRPARAMAISHTAHA PURUSHVISHESH ISHWARAHA.” i.e., God has no concern with any kind of sufferings, sorrows and deeds, the result of deeds. That is why, He is called God who is special amongst souls because souls have to suffer the said sorrows, result of deeds etc.

So based on the knowledge of four Vedas which emanates direct from God there is only one God to be worshipped by the entire universe. It shall not be out of place to mention that all the religions of the world agree about God being one.

Vedas being eternal constitute the culture of the world. We must know that knowledge is gained only when it is imparted by someone. In the beginning of the earth, God gives the knowledge in the form of four Vedas, in which He mainly preaches science i.e., knowledge about every mater of world (Gyan Kand) form of all pious deeds ( Karma Kand) worship (Upasana Kand).

In Vedas the said three matters are called “Trishu”. Every Rishi studied Vedas and became learned. As a result, they wrote Upnishads, Shastras, Valmiki Ramayan, Mahbharat( Bhagwad Geeta), etc.

So here are some views of Rishis about God. As stated in Atharvaveda mantra 10/8/1 (YO BHOOTAM CHA BHAVYAM CHA..JYESHTHAYE BRAMANNEY NAMAHA) i.e., God exists in past, present and future time period i.e., being eternal and He being present forever, knows every happening of the past, present and future . We must bow before the greatest, most supreme Brahma (God) and worship Him. The said God is one, eternal truth that is, will remain forever. The Rishi of Chchandogya Upnishad expresses his similar views as under.

Chchandogya Upnishad Shloka 6/2/1 states:

(AGRE) before the universe (IDAM) this omnipresent (SAD EV) Almighty God (ASEET) was.

Idea: The creation is eternal. When the universe is destroyed, then after a stipulated time, it is again created. Upnishad here states that, God being immortal, exists before every creation.

Again the Upnishad states the qualities of the God that was (EKAM EV) i.e., He was the only one and (ADWITEEYAM) no one was equivalent to Him. The idea is that God is one and unchangeable.

Kathopnishad 5th valli , shloka 9 states that fire (agni) exists in every matter and takes the same form of the matter in which it exists . Similarly, God is omnipresent i.e., is present in every matter of the world and has taken the form of the matters. That is, although God is one but has taken the form of every matter in which He is present.

Here we can also say that fire (Agni) in every matter is separate from the object based on his qualities. Similarly, God is separate and every matter of the world is separate from the God.

Bhagwad Geeta Shloka 2/16 also contains the views of Vedas as mentioned in Atharvaveda mantra 10/8/1. Geeta shloka states “NAABHAVAHA VIDYATE SATAHA”

i.e., there is no lack of truth. Its absence is impossible and therefore truth is everlasting- So God, souls and Prakriti are everlasting being true.

Similarly, “NA ASATAHA VIDYATE BHAVAHA” Untruth /falsehood gets destroyed one day. It can never exist forever. So the entire universe with its matters made of Prakriti is destructible. For example, a plant grows from a seed and becomes a tree then and one day gets destroyed. Similarly, a child takes birth, his body becomes young and then old. Thereafter at a stipulated time, it dies away and gets destroyed.

It is really a wonder that where the God in Yajurveda mantra 40/3 has stated, “NANNUDDEVA AAPNUVAN” i.e., no senses, perceptions or mind can achieve the God, God being beyond description, imagination, calculation etc. So due to lack of knowledge of Vedas mostly the people remain indulged in illusion and apply their entire power of senses, perceptions mind etc. to know the God and preach accordingly. I think all religions agree that we must seek the path of worship where our senses and mind becomes dead and then we will realize God within us.

QUALITIES OF SOULS (JEEVATAMA)

Soul is alive. Soul has to face the result of his deeds. Soul takes body of human beings, animals, birds, trees etc., according to deeds of past lives. Soul feels sorrow, happiness etc., through body. When soul leaves body, it feels nothing but carries all karma to be faced in next birth through his chitta’s (chitta) vritti (vritti).

Souls are innumerable but are constant in number having similar qualities like being pure, immortal, alive etc. Soul is infinitesimally small, is invisible. The bodies of all living beings contain souls.

Not God but soul has desire, hatred/malice, merriment, sufferings, attachment etc. While attracting itself towards materialistic articles made of prakriti soul forgets his original form. As a result, soul recognizes himself as body. This is the stage of soul being unwise.

“NA TAM VIDATH YA IMA JAJAANANYUDYUSHMAKAMANTARAM BABHOOVA,

NEEHAREINN PRAVRITA JALAPYA CHASUTRIP UKTHASHASCHARANTI.”

(RIGVEDA MANTRA 10/82/7)

(TAM) that God (NA) not ( VIDATH) known (YAH) who (EMA) all worlds (JAJANN) creates and (YAT) from you (ANYAT) separate from other souls(YUSHMAKAM) from you (ANTARAM) with in all (BABHOOVA) is (NIHAREINN) fog like smoke (YAT) that God (PRAVARITAHA) covered (JALAPYAHA) baseless discussion (ASUTRIPAHA) satisfied only in Prann [breathing system] (UKTHASHASAHA) only paying lip service (CHARANTI) deals or behaves.

Meaning: Like an invisible matter which is covered with fog similarly dealing in only lip service and indulging in baseless discussion and are satisfied in their breathing system, Oh! Man-woman, you do not know the God who creates the five matters/universe and the God who is separate from other souls and who is within all.

Vedas’ Philosophy

God has made universe and blessed us with human body to do pious deeds to attain salvation only. He has not made any heaven or hell. All have to face the result of their deeds, good or bad here only, even by taking rebirth. (Rigveda mantras 10/135/1,2 refer).

God has not only made universe but has also given knowledge of four Vedas where answers to your and everyone’s questions have been given. There are four Vedas:

1. Rig Veda – gives knowledge of science, matter of the universe like sun, moon, air, body etc., etc.

2. Yajurveda – gives knowledge of all the deeds and duties to be performed by men, women, students, leaders, king, agriculturist etc., etc., etc.

3. Samveda – gives knowledge how to worship God who gives peace and long happy life etc. In this way, details of Yoga philosophy, qualities, supreme deeds and nature of the God are also given.

4. Atharvaveda – gives details of God, medical science and details of medicine etc.

Actually in four Vedas there is unlimited knowledge. Yajurveda mantra 40/8 says that God is everywhere, is Almighty, formless, devoid of nervous system, purest, away from sins and does not have to face any result of any karmas (deeds), knows every soul, knows what is in everyone’s mind, no body has made God, but God creates universe, has given the eternal knowledge of four Vedas and always gives the said knowledge at the beginning of every universe to know the science and deeds to all concern. Similarly four Vedas say about God that God is an omnipresent, omniscient, formless, beyond imagination and beyond calculation. Actually God has unlimited qualities. There is only one God who creates, nurses, destroys the universe and recreates. Atharvaveda mantra 4/1/1 also says that God gives the knowledge of Vedas at the beginning of the earth to four Rishis of non-sexual creation. And thereafter only public listens Vedas through Rishis Munis as yet and become learned. Rig-Veda gives knowledge of Almighty, Yajurveda gives knowledge of karmas (deeds), Samveda tells about worship-Yoga philosophy and Atharvaveda about medicines and God. Actually all Vedas commonly says about God also, so this is about Vedas in short. But the knowledge of Vedas is endless.

It is a fundamental law that knowledge is always given by somebody. Otherwise knowledge can’t be gained at any cost. If a new born baby is nursed well in a dense jungle and is not educated then he will not be able to gain any knowledge even if he becomes young or old. So we have to think about the origin of the knowledge prevalent in the world today. In this connection the Vedas themselves say that God gives this knowledge to four Rishis. As said by Rishi Patanjali in Yoga shastra sutra 1/26, God is the first Guru of the four Rishis. Yajurveda mantra 31/7 also refers. This is all in short about Vedas.

The Vedas are not a book, rather it is a knowledge originated in the heart of Rishis. At the time of beginning of the earth those Rishis preached Vedas by mouth and all others remembered the same orally. At that time there was no pen, pencil, paper, etc. This process of studying Vedas orally remained till Mahabharata time. Muni Vyas too remembered Vedas traditionally by heart. Then Muni Vyas for the first time wrote the Vedas on Bhoj patra about 5300 years ago. In 16th century when printing press came into existence then the Vedas were printed. Still Vedas are not those which have been printed but those which are preached by mouth by an Acharya/yogi and the printed Vedas are called Sanhita.

Now if somebody worships a statue etc., then it is their own creation please but Vedas deny. According to Vedas the best worship of the God is Yajyen for which all Vedas are self-proof. Yajurveda mantra 31/16 says that the learned persons worship God by Yajyen.

So many people have asked me that most of the scholars/preachers of different religion state that their religion incorporates all matters of the world including science. What about Vedas? I wrote so many Ved Mantras describing science matters therein. For example, Yajurveda Mantra 3/6 states “Ayam Gauhu Swaha Pitram Puraha Prayan Mataram Prishnihi Aakrameet Asadat”.

Meaning:
This earth revolves around the Sun in the space and it also rotates on its own axis. Vedas are eternal like God because Vedas emanate from God. Now, according to Vedas, this present creation is about 1 Arab, 96 crores, 8 lakh 53,111 years old.

We can see that whatever is happening in the universe, is all according to the Vedas. For example, occurance of six seasons, actions of Sun, moon, process of death, birth, worship, yoga philosophy, atomic energy, agriculture, animal husbandry, knowledge of politics, administration, architecture, solar energy, knowledge of home appliances like mixer, grinder, business rules, about men, women, children, marriage, Brahamcharya, education, clothes etc., etc., i.e., knowledge right from a straw to Brahma is all in Vedas.

We need assistance of senses, perceptions, mind and body to do deeds but not God.

Nowadays, so many saints are writing books. What is the background to write their books? Background is clear that they have first studied or listened the preach from their Gurus, keeping aside the matter of truth or falsehood. And after studying or listening the same, they became able to write the books. So this is also fundamental law, based on which, the ancient Rishis first listened Vedas and when they became learned then only they wrote the Vedic books like Valmiki Ramayana, six shastras, Mahabharat (Bhagwad Geeta), Upanishads, etc., etc. So, first the knowledge of Vedas is initiated in the universe and afterwards other books come into existence.

Somebody may say that human beings have knowledge by their nature to create anything like books etc., but we see that the newly born baby who is nursed in a jungle, in the absence of knowledge of a learned person, he becomes incapable to do anything. Thus, he can’t be M.A, M.Sc, doctor etc. So there are two types of the words and meanings. First, eternal which are from Almighty God and second, natural made by human beings. Eternal word meanings are always from Vedas i.e., from God. After listening/studying Vedas, human beings become learned and then too based on their own natural knowledge, they make their own words and meanings, literature etc. But it is very much clear that in the absence of knowledge of Vedas, no one can become learned. Nowadays, also people live in dense jungle and do not lead a civilized life because they are not learned as cited above. Vedas are not sects because they emanate direct from God and God is one for all human beings. God creates sun, moon, air, water, food etc., which are meant for the best use of all human beings for their long, happy life. So are the Vedas. So all human beings must accept Vedas as an eternal knowledge from God, for the benefit of whole creation.

God will sure help you to provide suitable job.
