Swami Ram Swarup: It is stated in books that Durga mata killed the demons. I think you have listened the katha and effect exists on your chitta. As a result, the scene was experienced by you. This is the kind of mano vritti (psychological effect).

Aashish Singh: Swamiji Charansparsh, In our ancient scriptures, is there any description about deviye shakti or deviye weapons, deviye rath and the method of acquiring them for the protection of Dharma, society and country?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. In our ancient religious granths, there is only mention about divine power and divine weapons etc., which the kshatriyas/warriors, by their hard efforts, controlling their senses, perceptions etc., used to acquire.

M: Sir, I am share and stock market trader. I want to know which stock sector should I do trade in which I can earn more?
Swami Ram Swarup: Sorry, I’m innocent in this matter.

Pankaj: Sir, Charan sparsh, Got your answer thanks for guidance regarding ashes.Sir can we use that ashes of havan on our body for any disease, like joint pain or some skin problem?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. You are welcome please. As regards, use of ashes for any skin diseases etc., I do not recommend it, please.

R Babu Veeraraghavan: Swamiji,Pranam. After knowing idol worship is mentioned in Vedas, I would like to know:
1. What is the worship practice mentioned in the Vedas? what are the rituals / mantras / dress code etc. for prayers?
2. Since the present Hindus do idol worship, I think it would be right to convert to another religion which strictly believes and practices that God is One and formless. Is it right for me?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you.
(i) In Vedas, there is only preach to worship formless, omnipresent, omniscient, Almighty God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe. Vedas tell that one should make the contact with a learned acharya of Vedas and Yoga philosophy and then the aspirant must do Yajyen/hawan, name jaap and practice of Ashtang Yoga Philosophy especially asans, prannayam and meditation under the guidance of the acharya. To know the Vedic philosophy and worship, one should first either listen to Vedas or study holy books based on Vedas. One should start the worship by chanting Gayatri mantra with its meaning daily. One should also do hawan with Gayatri mantra daily, both times.
(ii) Conversion is not pious deed at any circumstances. Why not to convert ourselves from illusion to truth by adopting Vedic eternal path which is preached directly by Almighty God at the beginning of every creation and not by man? Hindu Dharma relates to Vedas and there is only Hindu dharma which also obeys the Vedic rules. Vedas clearly state that the pious deeds are those which are according to Vedas and sins are those which are against the Vedas.
