Anonymous: Swamiji charan sparsh, first I want to thank you that you sent blessings to my father who was in ICCU, so as you sent blessings he was immediately turned ok and now he is
fine.. Swamiji I do daily havan and naam jaap as you told me. Swamiji I want to ask that with your blessings I opened new venture in association with someone but sometimes I feel that he is not faithful to me. Should I separate with the partner?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. I think I already told you and tell everybody that a person who does not listen to Vedas and does not perform daily havan and does not do practice of Yoga philosophy and name jaap and practicing the same, his senses are not controlled, he can never be faithful to anyone, being a Vedic law, so, be alert, my son. No need to separate from partner but be alert. My blessings are always with you.
S: Pranam Guruji. I have a few questions regarding chanting mantras:
1. Can I chant more than one mantra a day? I usually chant each mantra 108 times. Can I chant Ganapathi mantra followed by kuber mantra and agni mantra all in the same day?
2. I use rudraksha mala for all mantras . Is this ok? or should I use other mala?
3. I read that a mantra has to be performed for 40 days for true effect but I am not able to do 40 days continuously as I have health issues. I am grateful for any clarifications Guruji. Many thanks
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. Ganpati mantra, kuber mantra and agni mantra are not mentioned in Vedas. However, agni word is quoted in Vedas but before chanting, it requires clearance that the agni mantra has been taken from the Vedas or from outside the Vedas because, only those mantras are to be chanted which are given in Vedas, say the Vedas. Time of chanting of mantras is fixed as per suitability.
Mala process is also not in Vedas, please. So, learned do not accept it. In Vedas, daily yajyen/havan, name jaap of God and practice of Yoga philosophy is stated which need no mala. However, you can go ahead at your own.
Ved mantras are required to be chanted especially when havan/yajyen is performed. The said process is stated to be continued for whole life. Again, my blessings to you, my daughter.
Deepak: Swamiji charan sparsh. When I do havan should I do after that naam jaap which you gave me? I mean after havan should i sit there only and do naam jaap and for how
long time should I do that naam jaap and what about whole day I mean should I keep doing whole day that naam jaap and should i sit in meditation when I do that naam jaap? Thanks swamiji for always reply according Vedas.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my son. Yes, please. Name jaap is also important. However, time of name jaap should be early in the morning i.e., between 4.00 a.m to 6.00 a.m. After name jaap, one should do practice of asan, prannayam, meditation etc., and when the sun rises, then havan should be performed. However, you may do as time permits. Name jaap should be done both times i.e., morning and evening.
