B: I want learn about the religion, about dharma, worship to be performed etc. in contact with a learned person. Is it possible for me to come to your place in December? Can I interact or learn from people doing severe austerities in the forest even staying there for 2 months or so.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Yes, please. You are always welcome here and I also appreciate your views. Boarding and lodging is free for the aspirants.

Lalit: Swamiji do the Vedas tell us about agriculture? Is there hidden knowledge in the Vedas about how agricultural yield could be enhanced or some technology that we have not yet tried? Please in this regard could you recommend a book .
Swami Ram Swarup: Vedas are full of knowledge even you can say oceans of all types of pious deeds/Moral duties. Manusmriti as well as Bhagwad Geeta shloka 3/15 states that all deeds/moral duties have been generated from vedas. So, not on agriculture but politics, science, family duty, duties of men and women, study, animal husbandry, atom, energy, all types of science have been mentioned in Vedas in details.

It is our bad luck that nowadays we do not listen Vedas under influence of some false prophets. Vedas tell three educations in detail- Science, deeds and worship. I do not know about the book on the agriculture but some learned person could have sure written. Check from market only where Vedic culture is sold.

Lakshmi: Respected sir, I request you to help in explaining in 14th chapter of Gita, meaning of 20th shloka in 14th chapter in Gita.
Swami Ram Swarup: In this connection, I would advise you to study my book- “Vedas Divine Light”. The study of book makes a man able to understand about (Dehi) Purush i.e., soul (Dehsamud Bhawam) – Reason of making human body. Three gunnas i.e., three qualities of Prakriti and Amritam i.e., immortal God, etc.

In short, I also tell you here about (Dehi) soul, please. Soul is immortal and reside in (Deh) i.e., human-body. Human body is made up of five matters of prakriti i.e., Agni, vayu, jal, Aakash and Prithvi. The said five matters are originated from three gunnas of prakriti i.e., rajo, tamo and sato Gunn. When a devotee follows the eternal Vedic path and starts doing Yajyen, name jaap of God and practice of yoga philosophy then he overcomes the said three gunnas (quality of prakriti) and with the result, overcomes on all kinds of the sorrows and rebirth etc. At this stage, the devotee realises God and attains salvation.
