J: I was going to marry someone but I came to know that he was not a good person. Should I marry him or should I remain unmarried forever? Is it possible to stay unmarried for 24 years or more for a woman?
Swami Ram Swarup: Such mistakes of thinking about opposite sex before marriage has ruined several girls and boys. Vedas strictly prohibit it. So, still you must leave the idea of the boy forever. Time will come and happily you will get married with a suitable match in future. God will sure help you. You must do daily hawan with Gayatri mantra. It will also be good for you if you study some of my Vedic books, please.

No, Vedas never tell about restriction of marriage of girl before 24 years of age. Therefore better if you complete education before marriage. However, in between if suitable match is arranged by your parents then only the marriage can be performed before education and education can be completed after marriage.

Prasad: Namaskar swamiji. Is it possible that is person could die early before his actual deaths come i.e. Akal Mrutiyu as shown in many films or serials? How it is decided that a person will be his or her father or mother in this life and does this relation remains same in all the birth he or she takes?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Yes, everything is possible in the world i.e., due to influence of bad karmas man can commit murder or the case may be of commission of suicide etc. Any present relation i.e., of parents , brother , sister etc., is over when a person is dead, please.

Rekha Nautiyal: Swami Pranam, In Bhagwatgeeta Shri Krishna Maharaj mentioned about Brahamin, Shatriya, Vaisya, and Shudra. In what context he said these four?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. Sri Krishna Maharaj was a learned of Vedas and yoga philosophy. Naturally he has mentioned about Brahmin, kshatriye, vaishya and shudra keeping in view the context of Yajurveda mantra 31/11 wherein it is clarified that the said varnnas are based on karmas (deeds) theory and not by birth.

Krishna Samajdar: What is the meaning of the undermentioned mantra please?
“Saha naavavatu sahanaubhunaktu sahaviryam karavavahai……”
Swami Ram Swarup: (Saha na vavtu) Oh God! may we both (i.e., acharya and disciple) do our protection together with your blessings. (saha na bhunaktau) may we achieve glory/comfort together. (saha veeryam karvavahai) may we enhance our ability/power together. (tejasvee naavdheetamastu) with your blessings may we be able to increase our education/knowledge together. (ma vidvishamahi) Oh God! Bless us so that we may never hate or we may never go against each other, our three sorrows/ sufferings i.e., adhyatmik, adhi bhautik and adhi daivik sufferings be put to peace.

Anonymous: I was going to marry someone but at that time I wasn’t settled. Now the relationship is over. Can get it back by havan or Gayatri mantra?
Swami Ram Swarup: Now, it is better that you forget her. It was physical charm which has ended, please. You are dependent person, Vedas state that first of all a person must maintain brahamcharya, get education, then should be able to earn sufficient money to support and feed the family life. Then only one must think about marriage.
