Sagar: Swamiji pranam! As per God’s order in Vedas me and my friends do havan daily and have decided to organise havan specially on aamavas, poornamaasi. Hum Sab milkar is special day ko havan karkar every month and take blessing from God and yourself. Would it be possible to know the meaning of the mantras of aamavas and poornamaasi? I have been doing havan on these days but without knowing the meaning and not getting satisfaction and am sure without meaning uttering mantras won’t give any benefits. I would be highly obliged if you could please send me the meaning. And also Swamiji if you could bless us to start this auspicious havan on aamavas and poornamaasi with meaning.thank you Swamiji
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Your views are highly appreciated as you are obeying the orders of Almighty God. Naturally God blesses you all. nowadays , I’m totally busy to complete the annual Yajyen (holy) of four Vedas, started from 14th april 2013 and will be completed on 9th june . After 9th june, I’ll surely send you the meaning of Amavasya and poornnamasi mantras.
However please write if meaning can be written In Hindi language (Roman Hindi) or English.

Kharab yadein bhoolne ke liye hee kahee hain. Vedon mein vartamaan samay (present time) ka hee mahatva kaha hai jismein hum kriyamann karma karke kharab yadein ya pichhle aur is janam ke kiye burey karmon ke prabhav ko vedic sadhna dwara nasht karke, ujjwal bhavishya ka nirmann kar sakte hain. Karma teen prakar ke hain.
Three types of Deeds
There are three types of deeds (karmas) – sanchit, prarabhadh and kriyamann. Suppose one soul has to take birth (body). It means he has to face total number of deeds of his all previous lives and these deeds are called sanchit karmas but sanchit deeds are huge/unlimited and cannot be faced in one life. So the karmas which can be faced in one life are called prarabhadh (luck-destiny). So God has not made our luck at His own but Almighty God has considered the deeds which we have already done.
Yajurveda mantra 7/48 clarifies that human being is free to do any deed good or bad but God only awards the result. Now the balance deeds from sanchit deeds will be counted in the next life. Now the deeds which we do in our day today present life are called kriyamann.
If we do pious deeds according to Vedas, shastras and holy books and based on pious preaches of Rishi, Muni/learned saints then our all sanchit deeds are burnt and we can get salvation. Human beings are free in the matter of doing deeds good or bad. But result will be awarded by God. So we must worship and do pious deeds under guidance of a learned Guru. One should go always ahead for hard working, pious deeds, worship to make future bright himself. One should always work hard towards a right path.
Worship does not mean that we are free to discharge only our family duties, education, etc., but rather it is a sin. We have to get progress in both waysimultaneously i.e., spiritualism and worldly progress i.e., science, education, duties towards family etc. God creates the universe according to His eternal law framed in Vedas which are always unchangeable and unchallengeable. So we have to follow the law of God always to get long happy life.
Kharab yadon ka sanskar chitta par banaa rehta hai. Aur iska asar mann par chhaya rehta hai yeh sanskar harek kisi ko nahin sataate. Usee ko satate hain jiske jeevan mein Ishwar bhakti, vedic sadhna kee kami hai. Is kami ke karann uska mann un kharab yadon ko baar baar yaad kar dukhi hota hai. Jabki beetey hue samay ko especially burey samay ko kabhi yaad nahin karna chahiye. Kisi nein kaha hai
“Pachhe kee (arthat beetee huee) bisrai ke
Aagey ki sudh le”.
Achhi yadein isliye jaldi bhool jaati hain kyunki woh bhautik sukh dekar chalee gayee.
Shweta: I purchase one flat last year but their is are no papers of property and not even to give my money back to me. What can I do? Please answer.
Swami Ram Swarup: You are really in trouble because you’ve made the payment but did not get paper thereof. Nowadays, hardly anyone will accept the reality about your payment. You should try hard through your parents to meet again and again with dealer to request him to give papers and flat. Remember do not meet the person alone and do not accept any bad decision from him. If he still does not accept there is only way to go to court to seek the justice.
