Swami Ram Swarup: 1. The death of a yogi is achieved according to God’s wish. You see
death and birth and even whole control on universe is under administration of Divine power of God.
2. As regards salvation after Mahabharat war it is never told by any yogi to others, being the matter of no use.
Rahul: Swamiji as please tell me as how to understand the purpose of life as doing gayatri meditation from a long time. Thanks. Regards.
Swami Ram Swarup: Purpose of human life is to follow the vedic preach wherein in short, it is preached that a person should get progress both in worldly as well as in spiritualism. Simultaneously it is not possible to understand Vedas in the absence of learned acharya. Vedas inspire to make contact with learned acharya to get the said Vedic education.
Purpose of life of human-beings is to realise God while discharging all moral duties mentioned in Vedas-shastras and Holy books. However, in the beginning of every creation, when the public of non-sexual creation, remains ignorant then at that time, with the mercy of God, knowledge of four Vedas, directly from God and is originated in the heart of four Rishis, in the shape of four Vedas.
So, the Vedas are called self-proof being the knowledge direct from God. Therefore we’ve to decide the form of worship and pious deeds (moral duties) mentioned in Vedas. So the purpose of life is also to worship God and discharge all moral duties according to Vedas for which we’ve to listen and study Vedas first under the guidance of a learned acharya. Vedas educate us, in three types of educations.
There are three educations/preach about
(i) Knowledge – science etc.,(Gyan) in Rigved, At the time of every creation, knowledge of four Vedas emanates direct from God and is originated in the heart of four Rishis in non-sexual creation. In the said process, first of all, the knowledge of Rigved advents and originates in the heart of Rishi Agni. In this veda though the description of every worldly matter right from straw to God has
been mentioned but it speaks especially about matters concerning science of the world. God has described qualities/nature of all materialistic articles of the universe. Therefore, the entire mankind
must get the benefit of eternal knowledge of Vedas by knowing about right from straw to Brahma i.e., God. The meaning of “Ric” is that wherein the qualities and nature of all matters have been described and the meaning of veda is knowledge i.e., true knowledge. These words are used in making the pious word “Rigved”.
(ii) In Yajurved, the form of true, pious deeds have been preached. So, in the absence of listening of Yajurved, we can’t know about real moral duties of students, married persons, vanprasthis and
sanyasis. Even the moral and social obligations of King, parents, children etc., can’t be known.
(iii) In Samved there is preach about eternal true worship of God like Yajyen, name jaap, practice of Ashtang yoga by following which an aspirant realises God/attains salvation.
(iv) Atharvaved authenticates the above three vedas’ preach. It also contains comprehensive knowledge of medical science.
So, Almighty God who is formless, creates, nurses, destroys and again creates universe. This process is eternal and everlasting. So, at the time of beginning of each non-sexual creation, the knowledge of above four Vedas emanates direct from God and is originated in the heart of four Rishis. The knowledge is given by the God to the human-beings for their welfare/benefit because until the knowledge is given by somebody, no one can attain the knowledge. In the beginning of the
creation, no preacher, guru, acharya, teacher is present there to teach. So, God gives the knowledge.
Varun: Pranam Guruji, Guruji I wanted to know what are the conditions and the responsibilities one have to follow to adhere Bhramcharaya. Thanks a lot guruji
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my son.
God has stated in Vedas that there are four ashrams which are to be adopted. The said ashrams are Brahmacharya, Grihastha, Vanprastha and Sanyas. The base to spend ill-free, long, happy life is Brahmacharya ashram. Due to lack of knowledge of Vedas, people nowadays are not following the vedic path and hence problem.
To maintain the Brahmacharya first one should have faith on vedic knowledge and firm unchangeable decision to adopt it. Then he should know about it so to know the requirement of Brahmacharya ashram, I would first like to advise you to read my book “Brahmacharya dukh
nivarak divya manni” worth Rs. 100/- excluding postal charges, which give you immense knowledge therein. The book can be sent to you on receipt of your postal address, if you desire. Thereafter you may send your query, if any.
