Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my son. Kundali ka vishaye vedon mein nahi hai. Isliye vedon ke vidwan, Rishi-Muni sab isey jhoot maante hain. Isliye aapko ya kisi ko bhi kundali/teva, mangal dosh, pitra dosh, navgrah poojan, vastu Shastra etc., par dhyan nahin dena chahiye. Yeh sub ved ke khilaf hain.

a) what is the difference between rishi, muni, maharishi,brahmarishi, devrishi, rajrishi?
b) if somebody marries at 32 when he should enter vanprastha stage?
c) in other yuga the age alloted to different stages of life were different as that time people used to live more than 100 years of age?

1.) Rishi is he who is mantra drishta i.e., who has realized God while following Vedic path. Muni is he who daily studies hard, the Vedas. Rishi, Maharishi, Brahmarishi, Devrishi are same. Rajrishi is he who rules over the public of a nation. In addition, he knows four Vedas and Ashtang Yog philosophy and has attained Samadhi.
2.) Vanprasth stage is attained after completion of fifty years of age.
3.) In the old times, when people used to live for more than hundred years of age. There existed the knowledge of four Vedas, door to door. Rishi-Muni have written in their spiritual holy books that it was vedic time and people followed Vedic path wherein importance of maintaining brahmacharya was implemented. Based on Brahmacharya quality, the people used to have then hundred years of age. Whereas nowadays, due to lack of Vedas knowledge and due to following the anti-Vedic path, mostly the people are not interested to observe Brahmacharya. They even donot know the meaning of Brahmacharya and hence the problem.
