H: What to do if someone’s marriage ceremony has already been performed during the pitr paksha period, without knowing it was forbidden? Can something be done now to correct the effects of this mistake?
Swami Ram Swarup: Pitra paksh period made by men does not exist in Vedas, shastras, upnishads, Bhagwad Geeta etc. Learned do not accept it. It does not effect the human life by any means, being against the Vedas. In Vedas, it is stated that every day, week, time/mahurat has been made by God for our benefit so any pious deed like marriage etc., can be performed any day and time which suits us. So, you need not to worry, please. I would advise you to study two of my books- Vedas Divine Light-I and II (in English) worth Rs. 80/ and Rs. 121/-, excluding postal charges. These books clarify several doubts/present blind faiths. The book can be sent on receipt of your postal address, if you desire.

Aditya: Pranam Maharaj ji. I want to know that the third eye of a Baba, which I have seen on Aastha. It always says Kripa Barsegi and most of the people are satisfied. What is the logic behind it? Scientifically what is that? I know that it is possible only by Yajyen.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. In this connection, I may only tell that such path does not exist in Vedas. So, learned do not accept it, being unauthentic. Yajurveda mantra 7/48 states that we are free to do pious deeds or sins but result is awarded by God Himself in the shape of happiness and sorrows respectively. Further, Vedas tell that if a person does not want to face the sorrows then he should worship God according to Vedas i.e., yajyen, ashtang yoga practice etc., to destroy the bad deeds of previous lives and to gain wealth, happiness etc., by doing hard working with full devotion and dedication leaving behind the laziness otherwise happiness and sorrows based on the result of previous lives’ deeds will have to be faced vide Rigveda mantra 10/135/1,2 and there is no alternative to save one self.

So, based on Vedic philosophy, I find no logic/scientific reasoning in the matter raised by you in your question, please.

Rajesh: Mahatama ji, Charan sparsh, Will you please explain me about saptlok. I know the position in body (like bhu bhuva swaha maha etc) But I want to know its position in the Brahamand. Please let me know also whare is this meru parbat (Is it on the earth or in the Brahamand) Dhanyavaad.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. According to Rigveda, there are fourteen lokas. Seven lokas i.e., Bhu, Bhuva, Swaha, mahaha, Janaha, tapaha, Satyam are within us and the same lokas are outside. But meru parvat has no concern with the said lokas. After attaining Dharamamegh Samadhi as stated in 4/29, 30, 31, the position of these lokas is known.
