BB: Pranam, Guruji. Charan Sparsh. Guruji, with your blessings, have booked tickets of myself and my cousin and will reach to Ved Mandir soon. I am eager to take your darshan. As informed want to improvise my worship and intensify it and so I am waiting for the day to reach there. I convey my regards to all at Ved Mandir. With Charan Sparsh.
Swami Ram Swarup: My heartiest blessings to you, my son. This is your pious decision with the blessings of God to come here because Vedas already state about making frequent contact with learned acharya of Vedas, which itself is austerity (tapasya). You are always welcome here.

Anil: While performing havan, can fruits such as banana, nashpati, apple etc be put in the havan kund. What do Vedas tell on this? Our puoihit says ther is no pravdhan as such in Vedas. Meethi kheel also should not be put in havan kund either directly or mixed with havan samagri. PLEASE THROW SOME LIGHT OVER THIS ISSUE. THANKS & REGARDS.
Swami Ram Swarup: Yajurveda mantra 19/21 clearly states to put green raw (uncooked) vegetation including leaves of any plant into burning fire of hawan kund as an aahuti. Meethi kheel can also be put in kund if made of gud, shakkar but should not be made of sugar which is purified by animal bones. In this regard, I also paste my article:-

Havan Samagri

Four matters are to be mixed to prepare havan samagri, the kinds of which are several:
1. Sweet matter like jaggery, honey etc. which are mixed on the same day when the havan is performed.
2. Nutritive matters like all pulses, flour, dry fruits, ghee etc.
3. Antibiotic like gyol etc.
4. Fragrant matters like guggal, chandan bala etc.

Atta, jau, kale til, rice, nagarmotha, balchhar, etc. can also be mixed.
