Anish: Pranaam Guruji, am not a good devotee, but I feel that my day is incomplete without his workship. I would like to know whether it is possible to be a brahmachari even after marriage? With your blessings, kindly send me articles on practise of brahmacharya. Respectfully yours.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. If a person performs daily hawan, makes contact with learned acharya of Vedas, does name jaap of God and does practice of asan, prannayam daily, while discharging all moral duties, it means he is a perfect devotee.
Yes, to maintain Brahamcharya in married life is possible, please. I’ve written a book in Hindi, named, “ Brahamcharya- Dukh Nivarak Divya Manni” worth Rs. 100/- , excluding postal charges. In this book, the matter has been well-explained. Book may be sent to you, on receipt of your postal address, if you so desire.
Ram: Swamiji, Please suggest good names for my baby boy starting with “Ka”, “Ki”, “Ve”. Thanks & Regards, Ram.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to your loving son. Some names from Vedas along with their meanings are as under:-
(i) Kavi= Yogi, poet, revolutionary person and God as well.
(ii) Ketav= learned person.
(iii) Vishwadev= universal Lord.
Purnima: How many souls are there? What is the total number?
Swami Ram Swarup: In this regard, I paste my article below. You may ask any further question, if still not clear.
Number of souls
All souls are immortal and constant in number. We see only bodies, either of human beings or living beings, though counting of ants. mosquitoes and other insects living in dense jungle, are not possible. Moreover the bacteria in air and in a drop of water even cannot be counted. So there is no problem in decreasing or increasing of bodies because souls are always constant in numbers having invisible shape.
Though the souls are countless in number but they are constant in number. Actually first of all every soul does not become capable to follow the path of Vedas. Secondly, the salvation time is fixed. So, it makes no difference whether one soul in a yug or more souls in a yug get salvation.
