Swami Ram Swarup: Beta, you can search yoga teacher anywhere in the country and start learning yoga philosophy.
Anonymous: Swamiji namaste. I am a foreigner living in Europe and I am very much interested in studying Vedas and learn yoga philosophy. I have come to know about you from the youtube channel of your disciple. For many reasons I am unable to come to your ashram now but I hope these issues will get solved soon. I spend my days studying the books of rishis and the yajurveda samhita . I know that it is not Vedas but it keeps me away from deeds which are not worth performing. I have great love for Ishvar , Vedas and I pray to Him every day that he may keep me steady in the vedic path. Being in this situation, sometimes I have been accused of “not living” because I keep away from wordly enjoyments and I am almost totally immersed in my studies, reasoning , naam jap etc. I wanted to ask you if a person who wants Vedas in their life , strives for acharya , tries to follow righteousness as much as possible and changes the conduct according to Vedas , is this person really “not living ” ? What should I do ? I do not want to leave Vedas , I want Ishvar and to perform all the pious vedic deeds . How to deal with these kind of people? You are the only one who can help me and quench my thirst . I have great love for you and all the rishi munis. I salute you again and again Swamiji and pray for your long life.
Swami Ram Swarup: Dear son, I appreciate your pious views concerning Vedas and yoga philosophy. However, the said education is gained under the guidance of a learned spiritual master who knows both, Vedas as well as ashtang yoga philosophy. So, in this connection, I will only guide you to come to me here in India to explain every truth. It is an eternal tradition and God has Himself preached in four Vedas that an aspirant must go to a learned acharya to learn Vedas and ashtang yoga philosophy to realize God. My blessings are with you.
