Surinder: Chit means Chetna. I think Chetna comes in Prakriti only when the Atma enters into Prakriti. So it is not true that MEHAT comes first, as stated by you. Please guide me if I am wrong.

Swami Ram Swarup: Chit is one of a component of antahkaran of human being and which is not a chetan matter. Prakriti is non alive matter and after the final destruction period of creation when the fraction of power of God works in the prakriti then from the prakriti creation starts. Mehat is the first matter created from prakriti and this fact is mentioned in Rigveda mandal 10 sukt 129 and further it is mentioned by Rishi Kapil in his Sankhya shastra sutra 1/26. So the said proof can never be denied.

Harsh: Sadar Charan sparsh swamiji. Is Narayana a proper noun? I came across a Vaishnava blog that claims quite vehemently that the word “Narayana” is a proper noun. Following are few claims from the blog itself“Panini grammar states this name is a proper noun because of the Na-kAra.”

Swamiji is true that indeed word ‘Narayana’ is a proper noun?

Swami Ram Swarup: Yes beta Narayana is a proper noun. My heartiest blessings to you and your family.
