(1) Hathyog kuchh aur hai aur firm decision , self determination and hard work to keep away bad thoughts is a separate pious deed. Hathyog ke vishya mein main apna article paste kar raha hoon:-
When a person is following vedic path, preached by God, Himself in vedas then it may never be considered as hathyog. Even the hard deed to overcome bad deeds etc., are not considered hathyog, as I quoted above. For example- we have to take water from mouth but several also take water from nose and so on.
Hath means the deed to be done forcibly and even are not natural i.e., one will have to go against the nature. it is against the Vedas and a learned/philosopher of Vedas will not advice to follow the path which is against the Vedas.
(2) Han! Beta firm mind ke sath hee achchhee baatein grahann kee jaatee hain aur buree baton ka tyag kiya jaata hai. Parantu sthai roop se (permanently) achchhai dharann karne ke liye sath sath hawan, Yajyen, naam jaap, asan prannayam zaroori hai. Yeh sab shubh karma hathyog mein nahin aatey. Vedon mein hathyog ka varnann nahin hai. Isliye hathyog nahin karna chahiye. Vedanusar shubh karma karne ke liye jo purusharth kiya jata hai usey hath yog nahin kahte, purusharth kahte hain.

Guruji I am basically confused that all the good acts that I try to do originate from the vedic knowledge and my determination to follow it. How is this determination different from Hat- yog . Guruji please put some light on – If there is any relation between hat-yog and the determination one requires to follow the vedic path. Your son Varun.

Vijay: 1. Which tooth cut by Bhagwan Parashuram of Shri Ganesh.
2. My flat door situated in south east corner. I want to know, which type / colour of Ganesh statue / photo will be install on main door.
3. I have seen Ganesh statue in market – right tooth broken statue where as Bhagwan Parashuram cut left tooth of shri ganesh. please clear my confusion.
Swami Ramswarup: (1) Sorry, I do not know , being purannic katha which does not exist in Vedas.
(2). To install Ganesh statue, you may contact local pandit because in Vedas, matter of statue pooja does not exist. moreover Vedas only tell to worship Formless, Almighty, omnipresent God Who creates, nurses and destroys the universe. He is the God, not anybody else.
