Narender Sharma: Swami ji Namaskar, science have proved that combination of chromosome forms baby boy or baby girl, but what our Vedas says which one have more importance and How God decide to bless someone with two sons or two daughters? And what is the limit for one pair means how much baby they suppose to have?
Swami Ram Swarup: Namaskkar. Vedas tell that birth is based on the previous lives’ deeds. Certainly, Vedas do not tell difference between male and female gender. Rigveda states that to establish the function of generation, male and female, both are important equally. So, the babies are taking birth under the administration of Almighty God (based on the karmas). Science and karmas (deed’s Philosophy) also emanates from Vedas. So, scientists have researched about male and female matters by the deep study of genes and process of pregnancy etc. So, if they’ve come to know about the chromosome combination matter and if it is hundred percent correct then we must know that this combination has already been made by God and has been invented by scientists like function of heart, circulation of blood, veins, ortho science, etc. In this connection I also paste my answer about artificial mind searched by science.
Scientists may make artificial mind and you see its name will always remain artificial mind and not natural mind. So, the function of the artificial mind will always differ from natural mind which is made by God. You see, artificial matter can never be compared to natural matter. For example- Artificial fruits, sun, moon, flowers have been made but how can said matters be compared to natural ones. Secondly, when soul leaves the body then it carries with him mind and intellect which is a natural process. But, it can never be possible that artificial mind would go with soul. Also, science may try to transfer one soul to another body but result will always be negative because soul enters first in the body of male member under the administration of God and then the soul enters into the womb of mother where the soul gets five perceptions, five organs etc. the said process is eternal, everlasting and quite unchangeable. I mean to say, the soul enters into the body only under the administration of Almighty God and the power can’t be delegated to man, being unchangeable vide Rigveda mantra 3/56/1. However, I would like to say that science emanates from Vedas and scientists along with science shall always remain respect worthy because it serves the mankind. But, scientists and we all human-beings must not forget that man’s power is limited whereas God’s power is unlimited and therefore with limited knowledge of man’s mind the unlimited secret of Almighty God can’t be known only, limited secret can be known.
It is an everlasting, unchangeable truth of vedas, shastras that even a Yogi, who merges himself in the Almighty God during salvation, can’t challenge the creation of God. I mean to say, even a Yogi can’t create any single matter of universe. Otherwise, there shall remain no difference between man and God.
Kumar: Parnaam some of my neighbors ask me to keep fast during solar eclipse. Do any Vedas prohibit from eating during eclipse or how it could be harmful? Can you please bless me with this?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Vedas do not prohibit eating during Solar Eclipse. I also paste my answer in this regard.
Vedas do not tell about stoppage of worship and eating, please. Surya Grahan must not be seen directly with open eyes otherwise no other harm takes place.

However, in the eternal knowledge of four Vedas, the worship of only one eternal, formless, omnipresent, Almighty God who is beyond description and imagination, Who creates, nurses and destroys the universe, has been preached.
