Dr. A. Malviya: Saadar charan sparsha Guruji.. 1.Please tell us the difference between Parambrahma and Brahma if any according to Vedas..
2. Is there any evidence in vedas about TRIMURTI , brahma Vishnu and Mahesh?
3. Is the Brahma described in EKAM BRAHMA , DWITIYA NAASTI the same as Brahma of the TRIMURTI of hindu mythology?
4. Is the creator described in Vedas the same as Brahma of trimurti, with 3 heads as prevalent?
5. Is there mention of Kalpa , time unit of Brahma?? and the concept of Yugas and devata yugas in vedas. Is the concept that Sun,planets and earth revolve around Vishnu NAABHI and BRAHMA true according to Vedas?
6.If this is so, is the Brahma and Vishnu mentioned above same as the Trimurti?
7. If this is so , then we know of the shapes of Brahma and Vishnuji . Then according to Vedas how can we consider Brahma and Vishnu as God if their shape is known, because – NA TASYA PRATIMA ASTI..
I am very much confused about this mentioned concept.. please do solve my queries with the translations and verses from vedas.. thanks a lot guruji..

Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you.

1.) According to Vedas, Brahma means Shabda Brahma i.e., ved mantras and Par Brahma means realization of Almighty, Formless, omnipresent God by studying, understanding and holding the vedic knowledge in the daily routine life. So, Brahma means Ved and Par Brahma means Formless, Almighty God. In shantiparv of Mahabharat, it has been stated by Bheeshma Pitamah to Yudhishthir that Oh! Yudhishthir, he who learns and gains specialisation in vedic knowledge, he only becomes able to realize Almighty, formless, omnipresent God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe. It is our bad luck that after Mahbharat war, the eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates directly from God has diminished due to one or the other reason. Hence, illusion all over the universe.

2.) There is only one Almighty, omnipresent, formless God who is the only lord of universe.He was in past, exists in present and will always remain in future, He is unchangeable and unchallengeable. He only creates, nurses and destroys and again creates the universe. The said process is everlasting. Yajurveda mantra 32/1 states that God is one but based on His unlimited divine qualities, His names are also unlimited. In this regard, I paste my article as under-

Are Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh Gods?

Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh are not God. Vedas tell that there is only one formless God who never takes birth. He creates, nurses and destroys the universe. His power is enough to create and control the whole universe. He is Almighty i.e., He has all unlimited powers and therefore He does not need any assistance to create, nurse and destroy the universe by Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh. If God needs assistance then He will not be called Almighty. So God does not need any support but we all humans as well as all living beings need His support and blessings every time. However, in Vedas, there are innumerable names of Almighty God according to His divine qualities. So Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh etc., are also the names of the formless Almighty God. Brahma means the greatest. Vishnu means omnipresent and Mahesh means the greatest.

It is the personal matter of worship or not to worship. So atheists are also there. But it is very clear that God in Vedas as clarified that He Has blessed the human being with human body to worship and realise God. Nobody can attain happy life in the absence of worship of God. One more thing is clear from Vedas in which God states –Oh man/woman you live on the earth given by God and all comforts provided by the God. And if you do not remember/worship God then it is sin and punishment is awarded by the God.

Very few persons know that present science has also come out from Vedas, especially Rigveda. The knowledge of Vedas also emanates from God. So, it is clear that scientist also enjoy science which is given by God. God is not only the matter of blind faith. It is the matter of discussion with a learned acharya of Vedas and Yoga philosophy who from Vedas, shastras and Upnishads etc., and scientifically also prove the existence of God. For example- we see the creation and can think deeply that who has created it or is it a job of man/woman, scientist etc., then automatically after long discussion we would reach on the conclusion that men/women/scientist have not created the universe and then He who has created is called Almighty God.

Vishnu is also a name of formless, Almighty God based on quality. Quality is a sunder- “Vishnu” word is made from “Vishlari” Dhatu and the sense of Vishlari” is omnipresent. So he who has the quality of being Omnipresent at all times without a second’s break, He is Vishnu and no other Vishnu exists equivalent to this God. Similarly, Brahma= “Vri Vridhau” i.e., the biggest amongst the universe. Naturally, He is Almighty God. So, the name of Almighty God is also Brahma. Similarly, according to Yajurveda mantra 16/41 shiv means he who is beneficial/causes welfare, is shiv. The most beneficial, who creates and nurses the universe is Almighty God. So, Shiv is also name of Almighty God.

3.) The shloka “Eko Brahma Dwitiyo Na asti” quoted by you represents the Brahma as explained above and not Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh who are being worshipped in present times.

4.) As quoted above, the only Brahma, whose names are unlimited, (He being only one) creates the universe.

5.) Regarding kalpa and time/manvantar and Yugas etc., I paste my article below-

About Yugas

Manusmriti gives the proof in its chapter one that present time of the earth is 7th Manvantar. Uptil now 6 manvantar have passed. Those are Swayambhuva, Swarochish, Auttami, Tamas, Raivat and Chaakshush, now it is 7th manvantar, called Vaivasvat.

71 chaturyugi = 1 manvantar.

There are four yug – Satyug, Treta, Dwapur and Kaliyug.
Satyug = 17 lakhs 28 thousands years
Treta = 12 lakhs 96 thousands years
Dwapur = 8 lakhs 64 thousands years
Kaliyug = 4 lakhs 32 thousands years

The total of four Yugas comes to be 43 lakhs and 20 thousands years which is equal to one Chaturyugi. 71 Chaturyugi i.e., 30 crore 67 lakhs and 20 thousands years equal to one Manvantar and 6 Manvantar have yet passed whose calculation comes to one Arab 84 crore 30 lakhs and 20 thousands years. This is 7th Manvantar and 28 Chaturyugi and the present Kaliyug has passed its time of 5002 years. So, uptil now the age of the earth and Vedas is one Arab 96 crore 8 lakhs 53 thousands one hundred and eleven years. Bhagwad Geeta shlok 8/17 also says about this fact.

14 Manvantar= 1 Kalp.
Kalpa means the time of 14 manvantars.
Sun, planets and earth move in the space (antariksh) and not around Vishnu nabhi etc.
(vi) Regarding Trimurti, please see above that Brahma being Supreme, Vishnu being Omnipresent and Mahesh being benevolent are the names of One God. These are not separate powers etc.

(vii) As explained above, Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh are the names of Almighty, Formless God, please. So, question of shape does not arise.

You are welcome ,please.

Azam Khan: Namaskar Guruje–My question is that According to the hindu mythology purest thing in the world is fire and what ever we put on fire is pure then why Pulse is not pure in after puting on fire.
Swami Ram Swarup: Salamwalekam, Bhaijan. Yes, please. The purest, omnipresent matter of the world is fire. All those matters which are offered in the burning fire, they gets purified, please. So, when pulses are offered in burning fire, the pulses are burnt totally and whatever impurity exists before offering the pulses in fire, also burn completely.
