Swami Ram Swarup: Namaste. I’m sorry to listen about your wife’s sickness. Yet, a person should not be demoralized but should face the situation bravely. I can only advise you to seek medical advice from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi and I hope your wife would get relief from the disease. At this juncture, Yoga Philosophy would not be feasible. In addition, please try to give the following to your wife, which is very beneficial in diabetes-
Neem powder’s formula:
CHIRETTA-KIRETTA = 1gm
GYOL = 4gm
AZWAIN = 6gm
MEETHI-SOUNF = 6gm
CHHOTI-PEEPAL =3gm
NEEM-leaves =25-30 leaves.
Make the powder of all above items and take one kadchi (i.e., kadchi used to prepare dal, vegetables etc.) and boil it in one and half litres of water for five minutes. Then let it be cool and afterwards sieve it. Now take half cup of this medicine and mix it with another half cup of fresh water. Take one cup of this medicine in the morning empty stomach. It must be continued for three months.
I would also advise you to do daily hawan even with Gayatri mantra, both times and then pray daily to God to fulfill your desire regarding your wife.
You’ve gained experience while being in service so please try to seek job which is most important task for you. Your daily Hawan and prayer would sure help you in this matter.

But kindly request you to guide and clear doubt on one matter. We hear that through hypnotism a person’s brain is taken in the past and even in his past life. So
(1) whether through hypnotism is it possible to know person;s previous lives? Is it true?
(2) Whether hypnotism is mentioned in Vedas? Please guide on hypnotism as per Vedas. Pranam.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Since Hypnotism is not mentioned in Vedas so it is totally unauthentic and learned of Vedas do not accept it.
It is very clear when a Yogi is only authorized to know previous births then how its alternative can be considered, this being against the Vedas. So, through hypnotism previous lives of anyone cannot be known.
