S A: Swamiji pranam! Following vedic preach and trying my best best to practice in life I started to feel recently that I should return back to my motherland which is pious yagya bhoomi of great rishis like Vishwamitra, Vashist muni, Vyas muni, great rishi of present times like yourself. I have family in India. I would prefer to settle down somewhere in North of India close to Himachal. So that I can always come to you to get vedic knowledge and attend annual yagna. I believe Himachal government doesn’t allow outsiders to buy property in Himachal. So swamiji would you be able to guide me which is the best place to settle down where education systems are good, if I have kids. Where crime rate is less,overall standard of life will be good and I can practice in peace ashtanga yoga and inculcate same into my kids if I have. Swamiji I have given myself 5 years from now to wrap up everything from U.K. So I have to start looking from now on for a house to buy in a place you advice. I am planning to buy the house now and keep as the property prices are increasing day by day and at the end of 5yrs of time I don’t have to bother just come and settle down. Swamiji this is all just planning at the moment I don’t know what future holds for me but I am feeling it that I should return back to my yagyabhoomi. Swamiji I am having this constant battle in my mind if I am doing the right thing. Please swamiji guide me in the write direction. I am highly indebted to you. Thank you swamiji.

Himachal Government gives permission to purchase the land when the needy person applies. So, you can also try to purchase the land in Himachal. Otherwise, you may purchase land in Dehradoon.

Kaal Sarp Yog & other such defects in astrology
Vedas are eternal and knowledge direct from God wherein such kaal sarp yog etc., are not mentioned, please. So you need not to worry. Please try to do havan daily even from gayatri mantra, which is a great worship of God and will give you benefit. The meaning of kaal is also time. So death comes according to time for which the God has given life to us. This is all based on our previous lives’ pious deeds and sins. So there is no effect of kaal sarp yog etc., in the life, but effect of deeds (karmas) only. So, one must do always pious deeds to be happy. Present pious deeds can burn our previous deeds also and life’s time can also be extended wide Yajurveda mantra 3/62.
If the persons do not give respect to you then you should not worry. However, you should carefully watch yourself to find out the reason for disrespect. If you find any shortcoming within you then please amend. Otherwise, be happy ignoring their disrespect. But from your side, there should not be any disrespect to elders. Kyunki us sadhak ko Yog shastra sutra 1/15 kee see sthiti prapt ho jaatee hai jismein kaha hai ki us sadhak ko achchha bura, dekhey-suney ka uske chitta par asar nahin hota, isey hee vairagya kaha hai. Aur par-vairagya to is sey bhi uttam hai jiska varnnan Yog Shasra sutra 1/16 mein kiya hai ki Ishwar kee banayee srishti mein Prakriti se baney sabhi padarthon se (arthat khana-peena, sona-chandi, building, dhan, parivaar, khud ka shareer, ghee, milk aadi) vritti hat jaati hai to usey pa-vairagya kehte hain aur isee stage mein sadhak ko Ishwar kee prapti hotee hai, aap yadi ichchha ho to meri pustak Patanjal Yog Darshan Part I and II worth Rs. 131/- and Rs. 300/- excluding postal charges padein. Ab main aapkee baat bataata hoon ki prayaha purey sansaar mein vedadhyayan aur yogabhyaas aadi vidyayein achrann mein nahin hain isliye manushya kee vritti upar kahe Yog shastra sutra 1/15and 1/16 ke anusaar nahin hai balki sansari vritti hai jismein kaam, krodh, mad, lobh, ahankar mann mein prabal roop se tarah tarah kee buraiyan jaise abhimaan, laalach, chori, seena zori, corruption, lootmaar, dhokadhadi, jhoot, andhvishwaas, paap yukt karma, naari apmaan aadi hazaron kisam kee buraiyan paida karte rehte hain aur jeev sadhna kee kami se unka gulam banaa rehta hai. Aur Yog shastra ke upar kahe sutra ke anusaar weh vairagyavaan bilkul nahin hota isliye us person ko zara sa bhi koi gali de, krodh kare, insult karey itiyadi kee stage mein weh demoralize aur mentally disturb ho jaata hai aur phalswaroop dukhi rehta hai. Kai-kai jagah to jab insaan ke dil mein koi baat lag jaatee hai aur weh usey bardasht nahin kar paata to prithvi ka sabse badaa paap jo atmahatya hai, weh kar baithta hai, isliye hum sab ko vedic sadhna karnee chahiye isee se hamein shanti milegee.yeh nishchit hai ki jab jeev sadhna se maan-apmaan mein samaan ho jaata hai to weh apne aap mein vidwaan kehlata hai aur uskee yash kirti apne aap phailtee jaatee hai.
Swami Dayanandji nein pratishtha ko vish isliye kaha hai kyunki pratishtha mein hee phans kar jeev apne aap ko aur Parmatma ko bhula hua hai ki weh jeevamta hai aur jeevatma ke andar hee Parmatma nivas karta hai. Aisa person pratishtha ko banaye rakhne ke liye bahut kuchh jhoot sach karya karta rehta hai. Jab ki pratishtha se dhyan hataa kar rakhta hua sadhak grihasth ke shubh karyon aur sadhna mein lagaa rehta hai. Aur jab weh apnee ninda sunta hai to weh sadhak yeh vichar karta hai ki kya ninda karne wale nein mujh mein jo burai batai hai, weh saty hai? Agar satya hai to weh us burai ko door karne mein lag jaata hai. Aur agar ninda karne wale nein jhoot kaha hai to weh sadhak shant aur anand mein rehta hua apne shubh karmon mein lagaa rehta hai. Isliye ninda kewal sadhak ke liye amrit ke samaan hai. Hamein manushya ka janam sadhak banne ke liye mila hai atah hum vedic sadhna karein. Kabir nein bhi bahut achchha kaha hai:-
“Nindak nede rakhiye angan
Bin pani sabun bina nirmal karey subhaye.”
Arthat ki koi hamaree ninda karey to hum us ninda ko sun- sun un buraiyon ko door karte jaayein to hamara mann/swabhav khud hee nirmal ban jaayega.
