Truth Seeker: Sorry swami ji but I do not get your point. We should have dignity for ourselves. Opposite of abhiman is guilt. Those who don’t do abhiman are trapped in guilt, anybody can defeat them. Self respect and self confidence are necessary for achieving anything. Can you show one mantra from vedas that says to not have dignity or self respect? If someone attacks our ego what should we do?
Swami Ram Swarup: Ego and pride are separate things but the self confidence, I mean to say self-existence is also called ahankar which must be there. For example – due to said ahankar, also quoted in Sankhya shastra Sutra 1/26, we know ourselves that we are male or females, learned doctors etc., yogi, Rishi-muni etc., or know our other qualities, if any.

Samman pane kee ichchha rakhne kee zaroorat nahin hai, apitu hum itne vedic shubh karam karein ki jaise phoolon kee khushbu apne aap door-door tak chalee jaatee hai, use prakar hamare gunnon ka gaan door-door tak ho aur hamein swatah hee yash keerti kee prapti ho aur usee yash keerti ko prapt kar hum ahankar aur abhimaan na karein. Yogi maan apmaan aadi se pare hota hai arthat uskee ichchha nahin karta.

Aman: At least give me two verses on multidimensional existence.
Swami Ram Swarup: The verses relating to dimensions are in Atharvaveda mantra 3/27/1-6.

Charan Rana: On this auspicious day of wishing You Success, Happiness & Prosperity.
Swami Ram Swarup: Thanking you, please. I also send my good wishes and blessings to you all for a long, happy life

Angel: I want to meet you sir. Can you please give me your address or any contact number? I’m very interested to know about Vedas.
Swami Ram Swarup: You are always welcome, my daughter. You are further advised to please contact the indicated disciple to make contact, please.

Guruprasad: Crores of pranams Maharajji. Few days back in pravachan you quoted one
wordsworth poem sung by a brother in London which speaks about thanklessness. I humbly request you to write those two lines for my reference. With crores of pranams. Your son.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you all, my son. The poem is as under:-
Blow thou winter wind
Thy art is not so unkind
As man’s remembered not.
Freeze Freeze thou bitter sky.
Thy sling is not so nigh
As man’s ingratitude.
