Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. Yes, the women is very well authorized to recite Gayatri mantra or any ved mantra in whole of her life right from beginning of the childhood. You see, vedic knowledge is meant for soul and not body. In the body of man and woman, soul resides. When soul follows vedic path and uses his human body for worship of God then soul attains salvation and not the non-alive body.
Rohan: Pranaam rishiver, charan sparsh, Hope you are in best of health and everyone in the family is also in best of health. My friend went to someone’s home yesterday and this family performs havan 2 times a day, but for lighting the fire they use dry cowdung instead of kapoor (since its not available over here).I just wanted to ask is it ok to use cowdung in havan, havan being so pious, in vedas god has told so much about a cow and how pious she is for us.I dont know if its a right or wrong to use cowdung, please advise.
