Lakshmi Narayanan: I am 29 yrs Pure Vegetarian Man. I am a veg by birth. Till now I have not taken any non veg. I strictly follow Vegetarianism. What was started (following Vegetarianism) as a family ritual has now been turned in to a vow. It was very difficult to follow veg in my surroundings whether it is office or home. Even though I follow it and till now I was a pure veg. I was given chicken pizza without telling by friends and I had it without noticing. Once I realized I vomited. What can I do to make amends?

Lakshmi Narayanan: I am 29 yrs Pure Vegetarian Man. I am a veg by birth. Till now I have not taken any non veg. I strictly follow Vegetarianism. What was started (following Vegetarianism) as a family ritual has now been turned in to a vow. It was very difficult to follow veg in my surroundings whether it is office or home. Even though I follow it and till now I was a pure veg. I was given chicken pizza without telling by friends and I had it without noticing. Once I realized I vomited. What can I do to make amends?
Swami Ramswarup: You have not yet taken non-veg. This is a great achievement which is a result of your previous lives’ pious deeds and this must be continued till end. In Atharvaveda it is an order of God not to take non-veg and those who obey the order of God, then God is pleased and showers blessings on them.

In Yajurveda Mantra 12/42 it is stated when we know the truth about struggle, questions and answers, debate, study, preachings etc., then one must be firm on truth, keeping behind all the trouble, criticism or praises etc. This is an extraordinary quality of a person if he follows truth only. Now it is very sad that unknowingly you have taken pizza of chicken however your repentance is enough to forgive you. I hope you will be alert in future about such recurrence, being your moral duty. However, if possible, you may perform havan with Ved mantras. You may contact me as well from this website and I will send you a book of havan on receipt of your postal address, please.

Pallavi: I have done bad karmas and finding it very difficult to face their effect. kindly help me and show me the way…i am disturbed …
Swami Ramswarup: Repentance is the best way to kill the effect of sins. Repentance means to follow the vedic path and to take a vow that the sins will never be repeated in the life. Please try to do daily havan from Gayatri Mantra. If you desire, you can send your postal address and a book of Vedic havan Mantra will be sent to you to do havan. Rest all will remain ok.

Sandeep: I’m a true cherisher of Vedas. I’m wondering why the modern world is not accepting the fact that The Universe is eternal according to Vedas. They still stick to the concept of Big Bang Theory (which is false). Why people are not giving importance to the Vedic Cosmology?
Swami Ramswarup: I appreciate that you are true cherisher of Vedas. Yajurveda Mantra 12/42 states if one has accepted eternal truth, by study, discussion, struggle, debate, question and answers etc., like Arjun in Geeta, then he must always be firm on truth either he is being praised or insulted. This has been told as an extraordinary quality of the person and God always rewards him for this. As regards others, who do not accept the Vedas, they actually have never come in contact with learned of Vedas to listen to Vedas from them. It is a well known fact that if anybody without prejudice, tries to study the Vedas from an Acharya, he himself will be able to know and tell the truth. So problem is that mostly the present gurus have been preaching the public not to study Vedas and not to perform holy Yajyen, that is why people are ignorant of the eternal knowledge of the God preached in Vedas. And accordingly we have been facing the difficulties for not obeying the God’s preach in Vedas. I give an example to you. The king of Kashi was ignorant of Vedas and had adopted path against the Vedas. Adh Guru Shankaracharyaji, with his knowledge made friendship with the king and he made the king to agree to listen Vedas. After some time, the king became learned of Vedas. Then the king was astonished that people are worshipping God against the Vedas and the king himself spread the knowledge of Vedas in India with the help of Adh Guru Shankaracharyaji. So unless and until, one will listen to Vedas, he will not be able to understand the fact. In Vedas, it is clearly mentioned that if anyone is not aware of the knowledge that how universe is created according to Vedas then he cannot be a learned. So without the knowledge of Vedas everyone is free to accept any theory of the creation at his own accord. So, spreading Vedic knowledge is necessary to finish the illusion.

Sanjay: Do Shree Hanumanji Exist? If yes, where we can find them?
Swami Ramswarup: Hanumanji was a brahamchari, knower of four Vedas and a distinguished Yogi as is also mentioned by Valmikiji in his Valmiki Ramayan. So definitely, he had attained salvation. So he who attains the salvation, he does not take rebirth.

Pooja: What is the meaning of Samuhik Prarthana and Dainik Prarthana?
Swami Ramswarup: Samuhik Prarthna means prayer along with several worshippers and Dainik Prarthna means to do prayer daily.

Nirali: I have Raj Yog in my Kundali, but not able to find information on what does that means. Can you please explain it to me that what is Raj Yog and how is it good or beneficial for me?
Swami Ramswarup: Vedas is a knowledge given direct by God at the beginning of the earth. I have described the said truth in detail on this website several times. So what all is truth which exists in this universe has been explained by God in Vedas. I mean to say that Vedas tell about Ashtang Yoga only and not Raj Yog or other Yogas. So I think one should not think about any other Yog except Ashtang Yoga. Our ancient as well as present Rishis too do practice of Ashtang Yoga only. At present, Raj Yoga is described that he who has a luxurious life like a king, he is a Yogi. Such people give the example of king Janak that he was a Yogi and had a Raj Yoga . But it is against the Vedas.

Mawaram Supan: Why was Shri Raama sent in exile for fourteen years and not ten or twelve years and what is the significance of the number 14?
Swami Ramswarup: It was the wish of Kekayee , wife of King Dashrath to send Sri Ram to exile for fourteen years. She could also ask for 8, 10 or 12 years etc., but at that time, she did not think about other period except 14 years. So 14 years cannot be challenged.

Mawaram Supan: After Bhishma was wounded by Arjuna in the Mahabharata war, he was able to live for a number of days because of a boon. How many days did he lived? Which books contains the exact number of days. Please quote page number of the books.
Swami Ramswarup: He lived for 58 days after being wounded by Arjun’s arrows (as mentioned on page 1204 of Mahabharat part 3rd commented by Swami Jagdishwaranand Saraswati)

Murukan: Can you pls advice me what is the purpose of life. Why we taken birth?
Swami Ramswarup: Purpose of human life is to remain always in merriment (away from sorrows, tension, sickness etc), to get long happy life while discharging all moral duties. But it is not possible without worship of God i.e., without realization of God. Vedas tell that no happiness is attained without realization of God. Secondly, no realization is possible without study of Vedas and without obeying and acting as per the pious deeds mentioned therein. Thirdly, no knowledge can be attained unless learned Acharya of Vedas and Yoga philosophy preaches Vedas. So in a nutshell, purpose of human life is to realize God for which all materialistic articles of the world have been made by God to utilize the same to realize the God. It is a deep and lengthy matter, I will advise you to read some of my books to understand the same. Books can be sent on receipt of your postal address.

Bhuvnesh: I always had a problem sleeping in the night time & also problem to get up in the morning. Please let me know what to do?
Swami Ramswarup: This type of living is called “laziness”, due to body defect mainly stomach. Also due to lack of struggle, encouragement, bravery to fight against the laziness. Laziness is a bad habit which destroys the whole valuable life. so please be brave and try to get up early in the morning with a firm decision. God always helps those who help themselves. To overcome the stomach problem also if any, please go for a long morning walk and light exercises. Take plenty of water daily, at least twenty glasses of water daily. Without worship of God nothing can be attained. So try to chant Gayatri mantra daily and also do havan with Gayatri Mantra. Try to learn aasan, pranayaam and meditation and do practice thereof daily. Also try to do following pious deeds in routine life. Hard working, devotion, dedication, honesty, services to the parents and elders to follow eternal religion mentioned in Vedas, practise Ashtang Yoga, Discharge moral duties to get progress in education, science simultaneously in spiritualism as well, daily havan, to make contact with the learned Acharya, to get his advice are some of the pious deeds which make the future bright and kill the sorrows, problems, diseases, etc.

One must awake early in the morning for early morning walk and exercises. Must sit on meditation and chant holy name of God, must be away from any addiction and non-veg. Such pious actions lead to long, happy life and bright future. Please also try to study daily even one page of spiritual books of Vedas, shastras, Upanishads etc.

Vighnesh: What is the concept and significance of Dah-Sanskaar? Why some people are buried (followers of Hinduism) instead of Dah Sanskaar?
Swami Ramswarup: Yajurveda mantra 40/15 to do dah sanskar of dead body. You know dead body deteriorates and starts smelling and produces bacteria which are harmful to living beings. Therefore Vedas tell for dah- sanskar immediately which is a pious and religious deed also.

As far as other people are concerned they do according to their religion.

Rekha: In our family, if somebody dies, we observe shauk for one year. During this period good things are not done. Is it right? Even festivals like holi, diwali not celebrated and Pakwan on festivals not made.
Swami Ramswarup: As per Vedas, no function is required to be performed after cremation and flowing the ashes in river etc. though it is a sad time of death but even Atharvaveda mantra 8/1/8 tells not to weep. Soul being immortal. Sorrow, even can be observed for 13 days. Now, if people have made the custom of one year or more, it is as per their own wish but Vedas tell as mentioned above. So who believes in Vedas, the eternal knowledge of God, can stop the custom if they can.

Rekha Nautiyal: Is Astrology authentic. What is all about?
Swami Ramswarup: Present astrology is not authentic, please because it is against Vedas for which I have stated several times on this web site.

Rekha Nautiyal: I have read that we should not put Anjan (Kaajal) on eyes. Why it is wrong? Please correct me?
Swami Ramswarup: As per medical report, it may be harmful please.

Rekha Nautiyal: I have not kept Ramayana in my house. Now I want to keep it. Can I just purchase it or I have to organise any function for it. Kindly advise me. What is the best place to keep it?
Swami Ramswarup: You may purchase the Valmiki Ramayan Ramayana direct from market please and we should know all the reality about adorable Shri Ram, Lakshman, Sita and other dignitaries.

Rashmi Sahu: I have read your book on Brahmacharya. Wonderful I have followed mostly these things in life by the divine direction and come up in life. After accepting you as my guru I have learned valuable knowledge from you. But my desire
in fact deep yearning for Vedas keep troubling me. Please accept me as disciple I desire to be a renounciate in this married life too. Swamiji I want to do havan for our farmers for better rain for them and easing their problems. Are there special mantras for getting good rains? Please let me know. Please tell me Swamiji how I will be of your help in your divine endeavours.
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you and your family for a long happy life. Your views are highly appreciated and I do accept you as my disciple/daughter. Vedas tell that first birth is taken from parents and when Diksha from an Acharya is taken then it is his/her second birth. After taking second birth the Acharya becomes spiritual father. And the eternal knowledge of Vedas becomes mother. Then the disciple is called, DWIJ”. ‘dwi means second, ‘ja’ means birth, i.e., second birth. When the disciple attains the quality of Dwij then his first birth also becomes authentic and successful otherwise the first birth also goes in vain. so your desire is highly appreciated.

My dear daughter, renunciation from married life or from world is not necessary to realize God. Only the preach of Acharya based on Vedas/truth is required to be adhered which will also make the family life happy. The age of fifty years is meant for Vanprasth. But one can take vanprasth or sanyas if he really is an ascetic by putting the preach of Acharya in action or observing the preach in conduct at the age of sixty or more. No doubt, sanyas can be taken in early age as well but in my view it will ruin the life with repentance if the disciple is not real ascetic. The meaning of ascetic is well briefed in my book, ‘ Patanjal Yog Darshan’ in sutra 1/15, 16. But first try to come here with your family to take Diksha. For rain, simple daily havan will serve the purpose. The brief can be asked when you will come here.

Indu: Dhayan kya hota hai?
Swami Ramswarup: Dhayan (meditation) is the seventh fold path of Ashtang yoga mentioned in Vedas. I have briefed all the eight parts of Ashtang yoga in my book ‘Patanjal Yog Darshan’ in Hindi. Eight fold paths are Yam, Niyam, asan, pranayaam, dharna, dhayanand Samadhi. I will advice you to study the book for detailed description and to adopt the same in life. Book can be sent on receipt of your postal address.

S. B. Kothari: What is the nivaran for pitrudosh? If puja is to be performed then where and how it is to be done? People in my family are not getting married.
Swami Ramswarup: In Vedas, pitri means parents. Elders, and especially those who are learned of Vedas and yoga philosophy. Said dignitaries always look after us at their level best and the especially the learned give us knowledge to attain salvation. But the said dignitaries must be alive because after death, they can not look after us and can not give us knowledge. Even their dead bodies at the time of death are cremated. So we cannot serve them with food, clothes, money and other comforts etc. according to Vedas, it concludes that no other pitri dosh is there. So being unmarried is not due to pitri dosh. There may be some other family reason etc.

Dhanesh Padhya: I want to purchase Shrimad Bhagwatgeeta book, I
am performing simple havan twice a day. I am feeling very calm!
Swami Ramswarup: Bhagwad Geeta written by me is under print and will be available within month because a huge task of proof reading, addition and alteration is under process. You are doing havan is good for all.

Lata: What is “Bhima Ratha Shanthi”? I also read that Bhima Ratha Shanthi and Bhishma Ekadasi are one and the same?
Swami Ramswarup: Bhima Ratha Shanthi and Bhishma Ekadasi are not mentioned in Vedas, shastras, Upanishads, Bhagwad Geeta please. So in my view, it is not a worship of God.

Laskhmi: When will I get rid of the mental tension of my mother-in-law?
Swami Ramswarup: Mental peace resides within heart. When we seek peace from outside, we always fail. Due to lack of knowledge of our moral duties, we become selfish mostly. The Fundamental law of Vedas- shastras is to serve the elders, children etc., and to discharge our moral duties selflessly, i.e., without expecting any good award or cooperation etc. this law is applied to all human beings, either elders or youngsters. For example- Kekaiye asked Sri Ram to go to jungle. Sri Ram accepted her order happily. Neither any brother of Sri Ram nor Sita or other relatives disputed with Kekaiyee. And after sometime Kekaiyee repented automatically for her bad deed. No doubt, Sri Ram and
Sita were well educated with knowledge of Vedas, they daily used to perform Agnihotra and practice of Ashtang yoga. The correct definition of culture is – the pious deeds done by our ancient Rishi-Munis, Rajrishis etc., which we have to follow. So we must also worship God by listening Vedas, doing daily Agnihotra and practice of aasan, prannayam and meditation etc. Then there will not be any tension in the family. So I will advise you to leave the ambitions/expectations from your mother-in-law and on the contrary, you must do your moral duties for the family including towards your mother-in-law faithfully, without any expectation from anybody. This is the way to be happy and contended. Also please try to do daily hawan with Gayatri Mantra. Chant Gayatri Mantra along with its meanings, both times daily. This will give you mental as well as physical strength and peace.

Raj Bhalla: There are two mantras in the Arya Samaj Havan, which are recited silently. (1) OM AGNIRJYOTIRAGNI SWAHA (2) OM PRAJAPATAYA SWAHA What is the significance of reciting them silently?
Swami Ramswarup: Significance to chant mantras silently is that one should be able to make permanent effect and remembrance of God in heart/mind along with its

Baljit Singh: Why are we Indians being robbed by astrologers, tantriks, babas in present time? Every TV channel has its own astrologers. Why don’t you come forward and give us the right advice?
Swami Ramswarup: Yes, you are hundred percent correct that we are being robbed by the present astrologers etc. It is only due to lack of knowledge of Vedas. Vedas are divine light to finish the illusion/darkness. In Vedas, there is no place for blind faith, Corruption, teaching etc. For example- Yajurveda Mantra 7/48 states that human being is free to do pious or unpious deeds, but result in the shape of happiness and sorrows will be awarded by God. The said law has been mentioned in all Vedas. Secondly, not a single word of present astrology is mentioned in Vedas, like, palmistry, worship of sun, moon, non-alive matters, worship of planetry bodies(nav-graha poojan), Teva, kaal Sarp yog, vastu shastra, Mangal dosh, Pitri Dosh, Mahoorat to do marriage or any deed, to tally gunn of bride and bridegroom (would be) etc. Yog shastra sutra 1/7 states that Vedas are our self-proof. So the matter which are not mentioned in Vedas are not considered authentic by learned and therefore such matters are considered as false matters. But it is a great problem that most of the saints have spread the illusion by saying that the study of Vedas or performing of Yajyen is not required. Hence the illusion, please.

Yes, nowadays media is a great source to spread truth or illusion. But it requires financial aspects. Rigveda time and again states that give respect to the learned Acharya only and never respect such gurus who are against the Vedas and Ashtang Yoga philosophy. Again Vedas tell that donate the money, food grains, clothes etc., to a needy or a deserving Rishis/Munis/Learned otherwise the donation will go in vain. But problem is this that such knowledge of right donation is also attained after listening Vedas carefully but as I have stated above, the so called Gurus have misled the people in this matter. So the people mostly donate to false prophets who have become powerful financially as well as in making contacts with higher officials, industrialists etc. So the Tapasvi is not able to spend money on T.V channels etc. because a Tapasvi never collects money unnecessarily or more than the requirement.

Secondly, in Vedas as well as in shloka 2/55,68 of Bhagwad Geeta states that the Tapasvi/Yogi/Rishi has actually no desire of his own but the senses, perceptions and mind do deeds based on their nature. And the yogi (soul) always remains in merriment duly indulged in Almighty God. That is why in Upanishads, Shastras, Mahabharat, Valmiki Ramayan etc. It is seen that such Yogis were compelled to accompany the things or public to go to their residences to perform Yajyen or to preach them (story of Dashrath) who brought Shringi Rishi, Shweti Raja brought Rakya Muni, King Janmeje who brought Rishi Jad Bharat etc., etc.) Sri Ram and Bharat went to jungle and had Darshan of Agastha Rishi etc., etc. But nowadays, due to lack of tapasya the so called saints themselves go door to door and arrange their so called religious functions and arrange huge gathering and deliver their lecture and this make all the functions to gather financial benefit.

Mawaram Supan: I read about six Mahabharata books in English by various authors. I never read that four of the Pandavas had their own wives while Draupadi was the wife of Yudhisthira. Please quote the name of the book and chapter/page where you got this information. I will be extremely happy to have this knowledge.
Swami Ramswarup: You are advised to please read Mahabharat epic written by Shri Jagdishwaranandji. Secondly, the Pandavas were follower of Vedas and Vedas never tell such sinful act to have a common wife for five husbands. So we must follow the fundamental of Vedas, as was followed by Shri Ram, Sita Mata, Shri Krishna, Dashrath, Manu, Harishchandra, Pandavas and all ancient Rishi-Munis. Not to follow the Vedas is great sin.

AS: Past few weeks things are not going good with me. I am not able to do my daily havan etc. My son was also very sick. Please tell me what can I do.
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. It is a human life where sorrows and happiness occur based on the result of our previous deeds. However, the bad deeds which give us sorrows are finished by doing real worship of God. So please go ahead always to worship God. Daily havan, name jaap of God, aasan, pranayam and meditation kill all the sorrows one day. I pray to God and hope your son has become Okay till the time you receive this E-mail. But do not miss your daily worship because worship kills the sickness too. Main power of human being is encouragement. Please never become nervous in the life otherwise nothing can be achieved. Be brave and strong to fight back the problems to win them over. My blessings are always with your family.

Rahul: Please comment about Keshant sanskar. It is not mentioned in the list of sanskars.
Swami Ramswarup: List of sanskars has been placed on this website please. Kindly see the website. Its name is Chooda Karma sanskar. If we will say Kesh anth sanskar then it will be counted towards Daah karma sanskar which is impossible.

Deepak Chainani: Sometimes I see persons who are not good but still successful. They are sometime very proudly and selfish but are still happy and sometime persons like seedha sada is facing problems. Why can you tell me please?
Swami Ramswarup: Success is never based on bad deeds and on sins etc. The success of those persons, who at present, do sinful acts etc., is based on their previous lives’ good deeds. Actually, the result of present good or bad deeds is faced in the future births and the problems faced by innocent people are first due to their previous lives’ bad deeds, secondly, they have not worshipped God according to the eternal path to kill the previous deeds and thirdly, due to illusion which is too finished by real worship of God. So, the people are mostly ignorant about the Fundamental law of God in the matter of good or bad deeds (Karmas) and hence the problem. We must always try to listen to Vedas even through internet or self-study under guidance of an Acharya.

Jay Dagar: Please tell me what is the importance of marriage in human life. Is it necessary for a man to marry? Can he spend his life single?
Swami Ramswarup: Nothing is impossible please and whatever difficult/impossible is to maintain Fundamental law of the spiritual path in life. For example- those who do not marry are called neshthik brahamchari. Either boy or girl may adopt the said path as was adopted in the past by King Janak’s Acharya Gargi and Bheeshma Pitamaha etc. Nowadays, there may also be such brahamcharis but to control five senses, five perceptions and mind by doing hard tapasya like study of Vedas and Ashtang Yoga practice under guidance of a learned Acharya seems to be a difficult task mostly by the present generation. You are advised to read Yog Shastra part 1- Sutra 1/15 and 1/16 commented by me and Brahamacharya book written by me. Thereafter, please send me E-mail again in the matter. Otherwise, the family life is too good if we know the rules and regulations of family life according to Vedas through our Acharya. You may send your postal address to send the above books. Cost of both the books is Rs. 210/-
excluding postal charges.

Jagdish Hinduja: For what reasons can Pratima Vivah be done? Also if the Makar Raas of the guy doesn’t match with the Kark Raas of the girl at all, is there a solution to that?
Swami Ramswarup: Pratima vivah (statue/photo marriage) is not admitted in Vedas, please. Vivah (marriage) is a pious sanskar which is performed after completion of Brahamcharya ashram. In vivah (marriage) Ved mantras are recited then Ved mantras ask the bride and bridegroom to make promise with each other for strict compliance. So how a statue or photo will make promise to her husband or his wife etc. So we must not break the eternal path of Vedas. Self made paths mostly cannot be pious and will never give us peace. In this connection, I would like to mention here a beautiful chawpayee of Tulsi as well:

Meaning:- Due to attachment and illusion, people do not follow the eternal path of Vedas, which leads to acquisition of ascetism and true knowledge. On the contrary, people have made their own parts as per their suitability and interest. The suitability and interest is actually called “Attachment”.

Makar raas, Kark Raas or any Rashi has not been mentioned in Vedas, please. Vedas are eternal knowledge direct from God.

Nila: Since October last year In my house I’m having problems. Every week I have some thing broken its have begun by a big car accident and thanks God me and my daughter have saved but since this Kali chaudass day the troubles not stop. Every week some thing in my house is breaking. Please help me what his mean?
Swami Ramswarup: The breaking of household item occasionally is not good because it is not a punishment from God but mostly it is created by someone who knows person. As regards accident of car, it may be due to previous lives’ deeds which has been finished now by experiencing the result by you. Please don’t be afraid for such activities. You must chant Gayatri Mantra daily and must do havan with Gayatri Mantra daily.
Everything will be okay but beware of hidden foe.

Hari Krishna: I am really lucky to find this site and wish to know some answer for my questions regarding the basic aspects of life. I have gone through your answers regarding the creation of world by GOD, but I am unable to understand the answer. What I want to know is – why should GOD create all this at all? If he has created this why should there be this so called freedom to creature to do what ever they want and again grade hem and decide who gets what. If he had not given that freedom all this suffering may not exist. All this trauma the human is undergoing in cycles of good and bad wouldn’t be there. If we are being punished for our misdeeds it is because he has given the freedom? Please respond to this, as my thoughts are getting on the negative and like this issue to be cleared so as to enable me to convince my mind to proceed to know about Vedas.
Swami Ramswarup: Yes, your question is mostly asked by so many other persons as to why God should create all this at all. Why indicates “mark of interrogation” i.e., question, that is what is the reason behind. So actually the above question will be what is the reason behind to create the universe? Its answer will be the creation is eternal. A deep study of four Vedas reveals that God, prakriti and souls are called “Swayambhu”. Swayambhu means which has not been made by anyone. The universe is created from prakriti. But prakriti is non-alive and God is alive. At a stipulated time (which is eternal) power of God (not God) acts in prakriti and universe is created. This creation is eternal then the power of God nurses the creation and automatically at a stipulated time, the final destruction takes place. So creation, nursing and destruction take place automatically at a fixed time. It means creation, nursing and destruction is eternal and God has not to decide or even think for the same. So question does not arise to put question that why God should create all this at all.

Freedom to the human beings to do good or bad deeds is also eternal and thus everlasting but God awards the result of deeds. So naturally, here also the question of grading etc., does not arise because such process is eternal and everlasting. It is only for the person to decide whether he follows true path of Vedas for long, happy life and to attain salvation or he wants to be indulged in illusion to do sins etc. God has nothing to do for the same, being eternal law. Keeping the above views in mind, to give or not to give freedom is now not a question please.

God has not only given the freedom to do good or bad deeds but he has blessed us with the knowledge of Vedas wherein other pious rules and regulations to live a long, happy life have been mentioned. For e.g.: In Yajurveda, God states that the best pious deed is Yajyen, to be performed by all. Then moral duties have been mentioned to be discharged. In Vedas, God has warned that if anybody will not obey the preach of God mentioned in Vedas then only the God will punish the defaulter.

So naturally, the sins are done when people do not listen to Vedas or do not make contact with learned Acharya. Yes, if God could not have preached us in Vedas to follow pious path. Then it would have been the fault of God only. But really, God is merciful and has showered all blessings upon us in Vedas to follow.

You are again welcome in case of any doubt. Please also refer to the article on Vedic philosophy and About Gurus.

Gaurav: Can I marry outside my religion and caste? The horoscope is not matching.
Swami Ramswarup: God has created the universe. He has given us birth also. Now, again He has blessed us with the knowledge of Four Vedas to obey, for attaining a long happy life. In Vedas, God has never mentioned about Nadi Dosh, Teva, Sarp Dosh, Kundli Matching etc. etc. SO it is upto you whether to follow Vedas’ Philosophy, or to accept the custom against the Vedas. If you follow Vedas’ Philosophy, then please go ahead and arrange marriage. But Vedas tell that before marriage, the good qualities of both sides must be checked i.e. whether family is educated, boy is earning well etc. etc.

Ankush Gupta: Ek Admi Kya Kya Sikha Hai Vedas Say?
Swami Ramswarup: Ved sampurn sansar ki vidyaon ka bhandar hai. Vedon mein tinke se lagakar braham tak ka gyan Hai. Koi bhi gyan karam, upasana ka vishye chhoota nahein hai.

Ranjan: My parents support dowry, but I don’t. If I go against my parents’ will, I hurt them, if I do what they say I am hurt, what is the ideal thing to do?
Swami Ramswarup: Vedas always say to follow the true path. Vedas are against the dowry or caste system etc. And if one will accept the truth, naturally he will have to hurt the opponent but it will not be a sin. Sin is only to follow falsehood. Bharat badly treated his mother Kekaiya, on account of sending Shri Ram to exile and pious act of Bharat is appreciated. Prahalad did not accept the falsehood of his father Hirannya Kashyap.

Crookbond: I heard about the prophesies of Prophet Muhammad in the holy Vedas. Is it true?
Swami Ramswarup: Vedas are knowledge only. Vedas give fundamental law of creation. In Vedas there is no story regarding anybody. Vedas is not a history. So Vedas never tell about any “proper noun” of anybody please. Vedas is also against Avatarvaad. Please also refer to the article on Avtaars.

Agastya Sridher: I have come across your web site and read half of it till now, I think I am very lucky and blessed by God, to know about this web site and lot of Spiritual knowledge. I believe in other ‘belief’. It has nothing to do with the questions I have, because God is one, but I believe that there are many ways to reach God. For example, there are many ways to reach Delhi – air, car, bus, train, etc. Some are easy and some are difficult. It is my belief that there are multiple ways. I believe you as well. So I know a person who can tell your future, past and present- some thing like a computer. At least he knows it, even if he doesn’t say, because not everything is to be told. It’s not Astrology or any thing else, which you know or heard about, or at least that you mentioned in the web site. You need not tell your name or any data. He is a preacher as you are. He also calls human beings as spirits. But he doest do it for money, he has that power and he uses it
only to enlighten people from darkness. He also does Prayers and tries his best to solve, cure anybody’s problems. What I wanted to say is, its not just Vedas but also many other ways to get enlightenment. Please clear my doubts.
Swami Ramswarup: Thanking you, please. God creates universe, nurses, destroys and creates again. Similarly, God gives the knowledge of four Vedas at the beginning of the earth. He who obeys the Vedas, he gets long, happy life and even he can get salvation.

So in Vedas, God enlightens us to listen to Vedas, to perform Yajyen, to do hard job to earn money, to do practice of Ashtang Yoga etc. God has given knowledge right from straw to Almighty God. So the said path enlightened by God to human- being is one and will always remain one please.

Future is always in our hand as per Vedic law. Hard working, brahmacharya, honesty, services to parents and elders, devotion and dedication to discharge moral duties according to Vedas make our future bright.

Present astrology is also not mentioned in Vedas, please. Yes, he who has got some doubt/misunderstanding etc., on the matter of faith, i.e. God, deeds, future, good or bad, birth and death, properties, creation etc. or who has desires to get money or something else etc. he goes to others to clear his doubts or to fulfill his desires.

But he who does not have any doubt left in his life, based on his tapasya and thus has no worldly desire, then he need not to go to any body, please. All doubts are cleared by studying Vedas under the guidance of learned Acharya.

Dharmendra: Jahaa tak mujhe maloom hai original Ved nasht ho chuka hai,to aap kaise keh sakte hai aapki baat Ved aadharit hai, aur aap kehte hai Vedic time me murtipuja nahi hoti jabki prabhu ram ne lanka jaane se pehle maa shakti ki aaradhna ki thi.
Swami Ramswarup: I have no. of times explained this matter on this website earlier too. Vedas are the divine knowledge which emanates direct from God. Both Vedas and God are invincible. Neither God nor Vedas are destructible. Both are imperishable, eternal and immortal. Right from the time, Vedas’ knowledge is given on this earth by Almighty God (i.e., Vedas are originated in the heart of four rishis in the beginning of the creation, by God) since then, Vedas are being learnt by heart by the learned. When Vedas were first time printed in 16th century then also the contemporary Rishis knew that printed copies of Vedas carried correct Ved mantras, since the Rishis who had earlier learnt Vedas by heart definitely saw the printed copies. Hence, the main issue is listening of Vedas from a learned Acharya of Vedas. Today we have restricted ourselves to just discussing and talking about Vedas but we rarely indulge in deep study of Vedas or adopt Vedic teachings in our lives. This is the main reason why lot of misunderstanding have arisen regarding Vedas. We should at the earnest concentrate our minds into study of Vedas.

Vedas project this eternal principle that God is formless and cannot take the shape of a statue etc. Now, if the trend of idol worship has begun since about 2,000 years ago then the responsibility rests over us as not to link Vedas to idol worship. Anyone is free to pursue any worship as per his/her liking but this does not give us liberty to degrade or insult Vedas. Sri Ram never did idol worship. Valmiki Ramayan is authentic history of that time and it gives no account of worship of Sri Ram of Maa Shakti before waging war against Lanka.

Dharmendra: Swamiji kya ye sach bhagwan shankar aaghori hai?
Swami Ramswarup: Bhagwan shankar ke aghori hone ka koi bhi pramann Valmiki Ramayan, Mahabharat aadi puritan granthon mein nahin milta hai. Ataha Bhagwan Shankar aghori nahin the.

Dharmendra: Meri maa ne solah shukrawar santoshi maa ka vrat rakhha tabse humne kai chamatkar mahsoos kiye jisme se ek batata hoo, “hum par ek lakh ka karja
tha jo vrat samapt hone ke teen mahine ke andar apne aap utar gaya hume pata bhi nahi chala.” swamiji ye satya baat hai yekin kariyen aur krupya apna mat bhejiye dhanywad.
Swami Ramswarup: Vedon ke gyan ke mutabik mein aisa manta hoon ki kuch kiye bina to srishti ke rachiyata Tshwar bhi ek naya paisa bhi nahin deita. Mehnat aur karma to karma hi padeka tub hi paise haath mein aiyengey.

Kapil: Meaning of devyaan
Swami Ramswarup: Devyaan marg- To adopt the true path of Vedas under the guidance of learned Acharya is called Devyaan Marg.

Madhvi: What precaution should a pregnant lady do during graham?
Swami Ramswarup: Pregnant lady must avoid to see surya grahann, directly through her eyes.

Jaya: Let me know the significance of Brahm muhurat for chanting the Gayatri mantra.
Swami Ramswarup: Brahma Mahurat starts in ushakaal which starts from 4:00 a.m. early in the morning till sun rise. Vedas tell that it is the most beneficial time to recite Gayatri Mantra or the name of God and practice of Ashtang Yoga Philosophy etc. At this time the mind has not much disturbance or problems as compared to rest of the day. Rigveda especially has told that Brahma Mahurat makes man healthy, wealthy and wise if a person does the said worship in Brahma Mahurat. Apart from this Vedas tell several benefits of Braham Mahurat which cannot be explained here, being lengthy.

Shobiraj: There are lot of problems and worries remained unsolved for long years, daily morning only after praying to God I do the rest of me work, why I don’t know that why the problems is not solved, please suggest some remedies to overcome.
Swami Ramswarup: Whenever thoughts/desires are spread based on kaam, krodh, madh, lobh, ahankaar etc. Then only the problems are increased. That is why Vedas as well as all religious granths tell to minimize or to kill all the baseless desires. Only pious desires must be therein the mind. For this purpose one will have to worship God and do practice of Ashtang Yoga in accordance with Ved-shastras theory under guidance of a learned Acharya. So to solve the problem or to fulfill the desire is not a solution, but to burn the desires.

Krishna: I have been more keen about the status of the Veda nowadays. I heard that it has been written by Vyas in an unknown language and it is so vast that only some parts have been translated into Sanskrit and yet it is not translated in any other language. Is it true or not I wanna know that what knowledge does it contains? I also want to know in detail about it.
Swami Ramswarup: No please, it is not true that Vyas muni has written Vedas. Vedas are eternal knowledge which emanates direct from God and originates in heart of four rishis. The knowledge of four Vedas traditionally used to be remembered by heart and process right from Satyug is still in vogue. Before 5,300 years Vyas muni too heard the Vedas from his Acharya and remembered. He then first time made up his mind to write Vedas on Bhojpatra. Vedas are in divine Sanskrit which is easy to understand under the guidance of Acharya. Those who say that Vedas language is hard, difficult etc., and if Vedas are uttered with wrong pronunciation, It will be harmful, all that is false. You know, on one side such gurus tell that Bhakti can be done by an ignorant and sinner also then why not Vedas be listened from an Acharya by all public (men or women). Actually Vedas themselves tell that everyone is entitled to listen and get the knowledge of Vedas for a long, happy life. Mostly such gurus mug up number of Sanskrit shlokas etc., and orate before innocent public just to impress them or to show themselves off that they (so called gurus) are learned of Vedas etc., and surprisingly they utter at the same moment that Vedas are difficult. Do not do Yajyen otherwise you will be sinful etc. Then people can listen their Sanskrit shlokas without knowing the meaning thereof then why cannot people listen Vedas and do Yajyen under guidance of learned Acharya. Listening is not difficult. To study Vedas can sometimes be considered difficult but listening of Vedas from an Acharya cannot be told as difficult. An Acharya will explain the Ved mantras in simple Hindi or English. So how can Vedas’ be told to be difficult? Public must be alert and listen to Vedas. Otherwise so called gurus will be telling them the wrong meaning of Ved mantras etc. Please refer to the article on Vedic philosophy.

Amit Sarkar: Next Yoga Camp.
Swami Ramswarup: Yoga camp will be held here from 15th April 2007 – 22nd April, 2007. After 22nd the preach on yoga will be minimized a lot but will continued till 2nd week of June. Boarding and lodging are free but voluntary donation will be accepted please.

Shailesh Patel: I have total faith in God. I have no enjoyment there is not money in my present life I have not enough money to give happiness to my parents. Sometime I feel that there no God in this universe. i saw some person who had bad character and bad habit they are happy but I have never feel that I am happy. Please help me.
Swami Ramswarup: I appreciate your views regarding God but when you tell that sometime you feel that there is no God in the universe then it hurts. Sorrows and happiness are based on previous birth’ deeds. The said deeds are destroyed by listening to Vedas, doing daily havan, name jaap and practice of yoga philosophy. It gives a long, happy life so we must never blame God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe.

Please do hard work to earn the money to satisfy your parents which is your moral duty. Person who have bad character and are enjoying like anything are those who are experiencing the result of their previous lives’ pious deeds and as regards bad deeds those will be faced by them in their next future births. So, one should never be jealous to see happiness of others. Otherwise it will be a great sin to face.

Vikas L. Acharya: Looking at current Generation Trends and Habits, due you think Hindu Culture (Sanskriti) will survive? Also other religions like Christians and Muslims are targeting innocent Hindu Society by conversion of caste by providing false faith and help aid. I once read that to destroy any nation, one must first destroy its nation culture and religious practice.
Swami Ramswarup: One thing is everlasting i.e., truth. Because we have been called Hindu and have been told that Vedas, Ramayan, Geeta and ancient Mahabharat granth etc., relates to Hindus only, then really we are still lucky. Vedas are eternal knowledge and all other above granths relate to Vedas. Vedas are emanates direct from God. God is immortal so are the Vedas and the knowledge of other granths. Therefore Vedas and the knowledge of Vedas in other granths being eternal like God are true then how truth can be finished? Men, Women, sun, moon earth can finish but truth can never finish.

L C: I belong to backward community. Where I will go for Patanjali Yoga Sutra? Kindly write to me the Sutra 3/45. Excuse me for disturbing you in these auspicious days in your Ashram. Kindly give me the sutra. Also request your Holiness to convey me the meaning of these Asta Siddis in English and their powers if practiced or shown to the world. From Swami Vivekananda’s writings I have understood that if a manhas acquired Anima he could read the mind of a person. Kindly convey me the powers of other Sidhis.
Swami Ramswarup: God has not made any community. Community is manmade so not accepted by God and by learned persons. I have written a book on Patanjal Yog Darshan wherein detailed explanation of each sutra has been mentioned. So you are advised to study the book which will be sent on receipt of your postal address. In the book, the details of all eight siddhis have also been briefed. If still the explanation in English is required, you may send E-Mail again. I think I have also explained the said siddhis on this website also in English, please check website also.

Karan Khanna: I understand that it is wrong to consume meat but I also wonder at the same time that more than 80% of the world’s population is non-vegetarian and also many of them are living very luxurious lives with no worries at all. They are very happy and enjoy alcohol, drinks in the parties, eat lots of chicken…but nothing wrong
happens to them? Why is this discrepancy Swamiji? And if we say, they will be punished by God someday, we mean that 80 % of world’s population is going to suffer terribly at the hands of God ? Please enlighten. Also, swamiji…I would like to meet you and seek your blessings before going abroad. When and where can I meet you for the same?
Swami Ramswarup: Rigveda Mantra 10/135/1,2 and 3 state that luxurious life is a result of previous lives’ pious deeds. The sins being done at present under the shelter of luxurious life will have to be faced full of sorrows in future births. The said law is Fundamental and law has been mentioned in all four Vedas. But nobody must be jealous to see the luxurious life of anybody else otherwise it will be itself a sin to be faced in future. You are always welcome.

Rajesh Milly: Can you please let me know that what was the estimated age of Grandfather Bheeshm (Devavrat) & Yudisther when the Mahabharat Fight was on?
Swami Ramswarup: Bheesham remained alive for about 172years and as regards Yudhishthir, I have not yet calculated his age, please.

Nila: May I have know which person I know is (hidden foe)? Swamiji what means do havan with Gayatri Mantra daily.? This is the same to make a yagna?

Swami Ramswarup: I am pleased that you would not now worry about ghost, jantra-mantra-tantra, black magic etc., because such majics are totally false. But in certain cases, some known persons or any family member try to tease keeping behind their motto. So it is very difficult to pin point the culprit and therefore we should remain alert from such hidden persons then everything will be O.K. one thing more, until and unless, you get some solid proof please never blame anyone otherwise there will be a friction in relations etc. Try to solve the problem amicably.

Yajyen or havan are performed with Ved mantras. Agnihotra can be performed in family, in absence of brahma (knower of four Vedas) whereas Yajyen must be performed in presence of Brahma. Secondly, Yajyen means Dev Pooja, Sangatikaran and daan. Devpooja means services to parents, elders, sangatikaran means contact with learned, spiritual Acharya to get their preach etc and daan means donation to deserving persons and performing Yajyen with Ved mantras.

Deepak Rawat: Tell me something about Nithari Kand?
Swami Ramswarup: Nithari Kand is an heinous crime against humanity and especially innocent babies, girls and women which is highly condemnful matter. Yes, now it is a duty of administration to punish the culprit by treating it as rarest of rare case giving capital punishment. Administrative authorities must also be alert in future for such recurrences.

Kavitha: I want to learn Vedas with one and each word meaning. But I don’t know Sanskrit. So please suggest me for Sanskrit books. And also my baby is 3yrs old. So can I start teaching her Vedas now as well? I know that sending gurukul is at the
age of 8. So I have a doubt, is it ok to start at the age of 3? So please clarify my doubt.
Swami Ramswarup: Your views to study Vedas are highly appreciated. God has given the knowledge of Vedas for the human beings which is being neglected nowadays. In Atharvaveda kand 4 Brahamodnam sukta 35 it is clarified that food is meant only for our body. Food finishes the hunger of stomach alone then our body survives. We see that a rich family takes choicest food but in the absence of spiritualism, such family remains worried, sick, in problems, tensions etc. Why? Atharveda gives the answer that soul which resides in body is also hungry but not of food like chapatti, rice, dal, fruits, milk etc. Soul is actually hungry of knowledge of God which is called “brahmodanem”. So if we only feed our body then we never feel merriment, happiness etc, etc., because soul is hungry not for food but for brahmodanem i.e. listening of Vedas, performing of Yajyen, name jaap, practice of Ashtang Yoga etc. Then only we will be able to attain a long, happy life. To study Vedas actually guidance of Acharya is necessary and not knowledge of Sanskrit. In fact Sanskrit is quite easy being our mother tongue. Moreover, Vedas are not to be read first but are to be listened from an Acharya i.e., why Vedas are also called “shruti”. Shruti means to listen. We must deeply understand that listening is not difficult. Everywhere public goes to saints to listen their preach. In the preach saints recite Sanskrit shlokas and public listens. Then neither saints nor public says that listening of Sanskrit shlokas is a difficult task. Then why can’t the public not listen to Vedas? But problem to listen the Vedas is this that most of the saints have not studied the Vedas. Such saints are afraid of the fact that if people will start listening Vedas then people will become learned like Rishi-Munis which most of the saints do not want due to their selfishness. So public must beware of such saints. It is our duty devoted on us by God to listen /study Vedas. We must obey God not others. Everything will be ok if aspirant starts listening Vedas from his Acharya. Otherwise, you may take lesson through postal correspondence or e-mail correspondence, as you wish. I would advice you to chant Gayatri Mantra daily and to perform havan daily with Gayatri Mantra. This will make a good effect on the mind of your loving baby and will enable your baby to study Vedas in future. You are also advised to study my book “Yajyen Karma – Sarvashreshtha Ishwar Pooja” in Hindi
worth Rs.65/- excluding postal charges. In the book Ved mantras have been described. From the Ved mantras mentioned in book, daily havan is performed. Some other holy books written by me are also beneficial for you in initiating the study of Vedas.

Nowadays people send their child to school at the age of 3. But minimum age of child must be 5 years. As regards Vedas, havan must be performed daily and some good teaching from Vedic book (which I will send you on receipt of your postal address) must be delivered to baby even at the age of three years but not continuously for more than twenty minutes half an hour. It will give good result afterwards.

Khusburaj Shrestha: I used to read lots of the book from Osho Rajnish and I am influenced a lot from his thoughts. On the contrary I am also developing the bhakti marga concept within my mind. Some time I feel there is some unfit things that both can’t go in the same time. While I keep faith in Ram and Krishna I have to surrender total to the pious God that will purify me. On the other side if I study the Osho literature I have to root out all types of faith and religion and to think as an empty mind of person. Why is so happening to me?
Swami Ramswarup: This earth and all the matters of the earth like Sun, moon, water etc. and even our own body have been created by God and after creation He originated the knowledge of Four Vedas in the heart Four Rishis. In Vedas, details of Gyan (knowledge of all matters/Science etc.), Karma (deeds) and Upasana (worship) have been preached by God Himself. Vedas say that three wisdom must be adhered to in the life together. Target of human life to attain long, happy life and salvation can not be achieved even if any of the three is over sighted. We utilize all the materialistic articles of universe made by God so we must also listen/study Vedas being an important matter of creation which gives us long, happy life. All our ancient Rishi- Munis and all present learned also adopted Vedas’ path, being authentic. So, there is a key in our hands given by God in the shape of four Vedas which opens all the locks of illusion and the said key opens the secrets of all holy books etc. So we must tally our path with the knowledge of Vedas always. So you may go ahead please with Osho thoughts and Bhakti marg in accordance with the preach of Vedas. Path of Sri Ram and Sri Krishna was Vedic path. The said Supreme dignitaries adopted the above quoted three wisdoms all together, in the life.

Nitasha: I want to perform kali mata havan, but I don’t know which samagri to use and what are the procedures and which mantras are said to perform the yajna correctly. I shall be grateful if you could reply to me.
Swami Ramswarup: Vedas do not tell about kali mata havan/worship. So I don’t know about Kali havan please.

Sudhansu Jain: I am in the field of yoga. I am seeing some different colour like blue, red, green. Is it the first stage of enlighting of kundlini shakti?
Swami Ramswarup: No, it is not the first stage, please.

Rahul Radhakrishnan: I would like to know whether a brahmachari can consume POTATO and TOMATO? 2. Is you gita part 2 ready?
Swami Ramswarup: 1. Yes, a brahamchari can consume potato, tomato and all vegetables but he must avoid onion and garlic. He must take boiled vegetables having curry (in liquid) therein.

2. I am nowadays really busy to complete Geeta part-2. though, the book is under print but there is a huge task for me to write, proof read etc. I found so many printing mistakes in proof reading. Moreover, some lengthy additions in each shloka are being made. So I think, further two months will be required to complete the book, please.

Rahul Radhakrishnan: Can a brahmachari consume masoor dal?
Swami Ramswarup: Yes, dal masur in liquid form can be consumed but mostly a brahamchari should take vegetables along with dal.

C K Vatsa: Dhanyawad for the subtle answer to my shanka. I fully believe in ” SE PARI AGAT SHUKRAM, AKAYAM, AVRANAM, ASNAVIRAM. SHUDDHAM…(Yaju. 40/7) but I am appalled at the enormity of ignorance, andh-vishwas, lack of faith and conviction in the Vedic thought and philosophy which has again raised its head in the ‘ once a land of the Vedas’ and ‘even after the clarion call __” BACK TO THE VEDAS” given about 132 years ago , to revive our forgotten heritage and to revitalise the concept of “TRAITVAD”, once professed by Maharishi Kapil, which has again been taken over by the current “vedant” dominated by the “ADVAITWAD.’ Whereas, we are told “Jagat is Mithya”; the craze and the race to catch up with the material world is so maddening, today! But the damage has been done. and it seems so difficult to keep afloat, caught up in a “bheankar storm” raging all around. Please suggest a way, to survive, and to reverse the trend. Bhavadeeya, Vinamra, Chittaranjan.
Swami Ramswarup: Thanking you, please. As you believe in Vedas so the society must believe but for the last 2,000 years the self created paths of worship, which are mostly against the Vedas, have been created to earn the money etc. This is really our bad luck and your grief over such enormity of blind faith etc., is but natural. Such displeasure/sadness is rightly originated in the heart of learned of Vedas only. How ignorant persons would feel sadness, sorrows, unhappiness, over the critical condition of the Vedas at present resulting in destruction of our eternal culture. Yet there is a fundamental law that truth can overshadowed for sometime but it is always everlasting. Illusion spreads immediately but is finished one. On the contrary truth takes time and spreads slowly-slowly but permanently.

Yes, you are right that present Vedanta is against the Vedas and has made its influence throughout India. Yes, damage has been done but truth is truth. When sun rises then the whole darkness is over. Based on the said philosophy I believe that the knowledge of Vedas is a divine light which sure will overcome the illusion, one day.

To revive the eternal path of Vedas those who have faith in Vedas must do hard work at their level best to spread the knowledge of Vedas all over India.

I have deep regard for you that a person like you believes in Vedas and feels pain in your heart on seeing the downfall of Vedic knowledge due to the false prophets.

Amiit Kumar: Do you think I can learn all the Veda in one week? You said I have to come there for one week!
Swami Ramswarup: Yes, it is not possible to learn Vedas with in a week. Minimum twelve years time is required to study the Vedas. But one week will be valuable for you to understand how to learn Vedas in short time and valuable information to enter the Vedic philosophy. You will also learn how to perform daily yoga about yoga philosophy and how to chant Gayatri Mantra and holy name jaap of God which are the most important initial knowledge which will remain till end. Vedic books will also be given to you. With in week you may put question in person and the doubt will be cleared at once. Yes, you may also make contact with local Arya samaj at Delhi to take knowledge of Vedas and Yoga knowledge there. In Arya samaj as well as here in Ved Mandir there is no any charges to teach Vedas/yoga.

Omila: Swamiji, sadar pranam, I believe that I am a reasonably good human being, pray daily, help others, even though people have been nasty, able to forgive to
some extent, accept destiny, try and teach myself that I can change a few things not all, except that not all will love me even though my love is genuine but then who says that love is to be reciprocated, love is always one sided, I try hard to convince myself that
human beings may not be with me but if PARMESHWAR is then that is great however, I still feel lonely and hurt. Please help me, do you come to Sydney, sometimes?
Swami Ramswarup: To work hard selflessly towards a right path is our duty and even it is a pious deed. But if we do not worship God properly then all our efforts go in vain. It becomes like a dal or vegetable which we have prepared carefully providing with all ingredients etc., but without adding salt to dal or vegetable. Therefore I will advise you to please do Gayatri Mantra jaap and also try to do hawan with Gayatri Mantra daily. After hawan one must do prayer which will definitely be beneficial then to help others, love people, assisting people will give you a good award. Forgiveness always is not good. Forgiveness means if a man is powerful and forgives the faults (to some extent) of the poor. Otherwise one must fight for justice. I will also advise you to please study some spiritual books written by me in Hindi as well as in English, which can be sent on receipt of your postal address . CDs of my pravachan are also available in Hindi, which will give you more peace if you listen the same. Some people are inviting me to visit Australia and I shall try my level best to come to Australia (Sydney). You will be informed accordingly, please.

As you know my daughter, life is a struggle to face happily. However guidance of a learned Acharya is always needed in every step of our life without guidance the efforts may go in vain. People want to do hard work and worship etc. But very few know about the truth/true path/pious deeds etc., for which the hard work is needed. So as per eternal knowledge of Vedas guidance is a must. Expectations/desires are of two kinds. One according to the Vedas, Shastras like pious deeds, moral duties, education, spiritualism etc. Hard working, devotion, dedication, honesty, services to the parents and elders to follow eternal religion mentioned in Vedas, practise Ashtang Yoga, Discharge moral duties to get progress in education, science simultaneously in spiritualism as well, daily havan, to make contact with the learned Acharya, to get his advice are some of the pious deeds which make the future bright and kill the sorrows, problems, diseases etc.

One must awake early in the morning for early morning walk and exercises. Must sit on meditation and chant holy name of God, must be away from any addiction and non-veg. Such pious actions lead to long, happy life and bright future.

Second type of desires are against the Vedas, shastras etc., which create sins. Without any desire, no one can live. So one must always think of good and must avoid bad desires.

Your views, for others mentioned by you are appreciated and you must discharge your duties selflessly as you have been doing already. So please try to study spiritual books and listen spiritual Cds as I have already advised you above which will give you knowledge as well as peace. Yes, the blessings of Almighty God are above all yet I will have to tell again that in this connection blessings of a spiritual Acharya/guru will have to be obtained as per the rule of Vedas/shastras. I see a great ambition in your heart to follow the true path and I too appreciate you for the same. Please go ahead. Sri Ram, Sri Krishna, mata Sita, Rishi-munis were all married and have lead a family life. So to realize truth, it is not necessary to be a sanyasi/sadhu. The family life is the best way to realize God while discharging our moral duties under guidance of an Acharya who knows Vedas and yoga philosophy.

So try to study spiritual books and listen to Cds as I’ve already advised above, this will give you a lot of knowledge and peace. It is a great opportunity for you to avail based on your previous pious deeds that you remember God and you are a gentle, God fearing lady. Now, it is up to you to do hard work to learn the eternal Vedic knowledge to worship God accordingly, otherwise my daughter aap mein aur koi kami nahin hai.

Our all pious deeds i.e., pray, help to others etc., must always be selflessly then there will be no tension. Whenever, we desire some expectations in return from others then if our expectation is not achieved then naturally we may be angry or annoyed etc. So this is a Vedic rule to help the other or do the pious deeds without expectations. Secondly, we must help the needy persons only. Always avoid beggars who come to the doors or one sitting here and there for begging. They mostly misused the money and those are not entitled to beg.

Love is not money or assets to beg. It is natural gift and therefore love occurs naturally/itself. There are so many types of love. For eg:- So many persons love with dog, cat etc., but they do not love the humanity. Therefore first of all one must be indulged in love with Almighty God and a learned spiritual Acharya. Love with God and Acharya
is always based on soul to soul and not based on physical charm. When an individual will be able to know God’s love from the spiritual knowledge for his Acharya/Guru He will sure start loving not only human being but also all living beings i.e., animals, birds too. His love will always be self-less. So main motto of the human being is to worship God to realize Him while discharging all moral duties. You may go ahead to worship God according to the eternal knowledge of Vedas. Then all will love you. One sided love is not admitted. Suppose you love God then why God will not love you. One sided love is always full of selfishness and pinches. But true love with soul to soul gives merriment.

When Parmeshwar is with you which is natural too then the result is always be beneficial please. But one should never accept result. I will be advise you to chant Gayatri mantra
daily both time and perform daily havan from Gayatri Mantra. Some spiritual books written by me in Hindi and English must also be read by you, which will give you peace. My spiritual Cds will also be sent on receipt of your postal address, if you desire.

Jatinder Kaur Biji: Our families believe in matching kundli. We showed our Kundli to a panditji and he said our kundli’s are very good, but one thing is that we both have Nadi Dosh.Panditji said by this dosh our family members wont be affected but there will be problem of not having child in future or if the child is born then he might be disabled. Please give me some guidance or solution.
Swami Ramswarup: Vedas, Shastras, Shri Guru Bani, Geeta, Ramayan never tell about nadi dosh etc., nor say about kundali/tipadda etc. So please oversight the dosh and you may go ahead for marriage. The child problem arises always due to medical unfitness. So why you take the advise of such panditji? And handicap child takes birth if parents
take addiction etc. So I think you need not to worry.

Seeker: In my last question’s reply you have written “So in such cases as mentioned by your above, present or previous deeds are involved. Secondly, if the baby is innocent then the culprit (rapist) has done heinous crime for which he will be punished badly by God as well. What is the meaning of “if the baby is innocent?” If all the present or previous deeds are involved to decide destiny then How come a innocent can be raped.. If some body is truely innocent, he/she can not be harmed in anyway. Or if he / she is being raped that means there are previous deeds involved which are causing this suffering to him/her.
Swami Ramswarup: Innocent means underage and has been misled or has been forcefully kidnapped etc.

Bhavna: My husband doesn’t gives me what I want. He & I are totally opposite to each other and how should I increase my financial growth?
Swami Ramswarup: It is a moral duty of your husband to feed your marital requirement. But what is the reason behind that he does not discharge his duties and you have been compelled to manage your financial problem yourself. Yet, if you are educated and can do any respectable job then it will also assist your husband. But to do job consent of your husband is also necessary. Please solve your family problem happily and lovingly, with cooperation of each other. Daily Gayatri jaap must be done. If possible please also try to do havan with Gayatri Mantra, daily.

Shri: I am doing sadhana since 8 months daily for 4 hours but I feel I have gained nothing. Am I doing something wrong?
Swami Ramswarup: Sadhna, name jaap of God, tapasya, worship etc., is done under guidance of the spiritual master who knows the eternal knowledge of ved-shastras and yoga philosophy. Please seek advice locally from renowned spiritual guru or brief to me all about the worship you do so that proper guidance can be given.

Krishna: Can I read any of these four Vedas on internet?
Swami Ramswarup: I have pasted detailed explanation with words and meanings of so many Ved mantras and this process is still continued. This website has also given vast knowledge about routine life based on Vedic philosophy. You may study the Ved mantras and this website deeply to know the Vedic knowledge. I have written books on Vedas in English as well as in Hindi, quoting Ved mantras. Books are sent on receipt of postal address. So this is the best way to gain Vedic knowledge. In this connection, you may browse other websites. However, I would say that your desire to know the Vedic knowledge is supreme and is also highly appreciated.

Amiit Kumar: Swamiji what is concept of kama and mind and senses? How to control kama? Bhagwat puram mentions that it doesn’t leave anyone and even Brhramrishi Vishwamitra, Brahma and Lord Shiva cannot control it?
Swami Ramswarup: Shivji Maharaj was a renowned dignitary being a complete yogeshwar so he was never indulged in Kama. On the contrary, he had controlled his five senses and mind by hard practice of Ashtang yoga. Same is the case of Brahma. Therefore, it is an attack on our culture to say that Shivji Maharaj and Brahma were indulged in kaam. Such false statements also help to promote corruption/kaam in the society. Even people do not hesitate to say that Yogeshwar Sri Krishna was married to more than 16,000 queens and he used to steal away the clothes of young girls who used to
bathe in the river etc. whereas Sri Krishna, who is also the most adorable dignitary f India was a great Brahmchari even in family life as mentioned in Mahabharat. It is truly said that “Two of a trade seldom agree”. So people must think if there is a title of a lord to Shiva, Brahma and title of Yogeshwar to Sri Krishna Maharaj and title of Rishi to Vishwamitraji then how could they be indulged in sensuality? Again it is also truly said that little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Most of the saints etc., are ignorant of the eternal knowledge of Vedas, Mahabharat and Shastras. As a result, they spread false stories in respect of our adorable Rishi-Munis. As regards Vishwamitraji, It is said that he had a daughter Shakuntala from Menaka but the Rishi came to know the fact of human life and immediately he left the family and went to the dense jungle where he did hard Ashtang Yoga practice and realized God by controlling all five senses and mind. So we, all the Indians, must know the fact by studying Vedas and Mahabharat, six Shastras etc., to avoid the criticism of our adorable dignitaries like Brahma, Vishnu, Shiv, Vishwamitraji, Yogeshwar Krishna Maharaj and innumerable Rishi-munis etc. As regards Kaam, it is a natural development in the body when boy or girl attain young age i.e. after 14 years but simultaneously Vedas/shastras tell about the Brahamcharya by which it is controlled. Being a vast subject, I can not give the brief but I will advise you to read my book on Brahamcharya which has been written especially for the young sons and daughters and even for people in married life.

Prabha: What are the branches of each Vedas? What are darshanas & how many? What are they about? How many sutras? What are the basic authentic books for Hindus? What the other basic important books for Hindus?
Swami Ramswarup: Vedas contain knowledge which emanates direct from God, at the beginning of creation of earth. The knowledge is then originated in the heart of four
Rishis. Therefore, the knowledge has been imparted in four Vedas viz Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda. It is a vast subject and details may be sent by post only.

Darshans are six- Yog Darshan, Sankhya, Nyaya, Mimansa, Vaishishik, Vedant. No more information can be given here being lengthy. Most important book for Indians as well as for the whole world are four Vedas from where Shastras, Upnishad, Mahabharat, Valmiki Ramayan etc., have been originated. In the absence of study of Vedas, the knowledge can not be completely attained and man cannot be learned to decide truth falsehood, live-non alive matters etc.

Rahul: In your reply to Rashmi, you mentioned that Valmikiji has clarified in Ramayana that Luv and Kush were born in Ayodhya. But in Valmiki Ramayan nothing is mentioned about Luv and Kush? It is mentioned in Tulsikrit Ramayan and other versions. In Gita, Krishna says I am SAMAVEDA among the Vedas, I have no clue as to what he means by this? My teacher told me that “Samam” means to destroy sins. In
samaveda there are hymns to destroy sins. This is why Krishna says so. Please clarify.
Swami Ramswarup: Whole story of Valmiki Ramayan reveals that Sri Ram never sent Sitaji to jungle and after gaining victory over lanka, Sri Ram then said to Sita that he(Sri Ram) does not believe in her since she has stayed in Lanka for one Year. Then Sitaji told Sri Ram that if he does not believe in her then she would prefer to give up her life and sit on pyre.. On this reply from Sita, Sri Ram asked Laxman to prepare pyre
which Laxmanji did. But as soon as Sitaji prepared herself to jump into pyre (fire), Sri Ram immediately caught her by hand and told her that I have full faith in you but other warriors standing around us i.e., Hanuman, Sugreev, Vibheeshan, Angad, Laxman etc., may doubt your integrity for which I acted as if I doubted you character. Now, you have proved your character before the others also, afterwards Sri Ram returned to Ayodhya along with Sita and Sri Ram never sent her to jungle. This has clarified that Luv and Kush were born in palace of Ayodhya. No more evidence is required please. Moreover, if we wouldn’t be able to adopt the good qualities of Sri Ram, Mata Sita in our life then mere learning the history, places, actions of warriors/dignitaries/Rishi-Munis etc., will be of no use.

I have clarified on this website on this website many times that Samveda teaches us about worship of God, which is called Upasna Kand. Without worship, no one can attain long, happy life, peace or salvation which is the motto of human life. Samveda is considered the greatest among four Vedas. In Geeta, Sri Krishna is trying to make the aspirant understand that as the peepal tree is the supreme amongst other trees, the lion is the supreme amongst other animals and the Samveda is the supreme amongst other Vedas, the God is the supreme amongst other Vedas, the God is the supreme amongst the universe.

Anshul: Please tell the mantras to awake my kundalini and get spiritual powers to fight evil powers.
Swami Ramswarup: Mere study of Vedas and other holy Granths does not correct the purpose until we put into practice the preach given therein, in daily life. And realization is only possible after tapsya like Yajyen, daily worship, brahmcharya and daily hard yoga practice etc. according to four Vedas and Patanjal yog Darshan is based on my personal experiences, it is not an easy task to awaken the kundalni. I cannot give brief here, being secret one but I can only tell here that kundalni is a part of body and it reaches at murdha to open the path of brahmrandra , where a yogi realizes God. Murdha is a point at forehead, between two eyebrows, where ida and pingla nadi meet. Kundalni is awakened after long Ashtang yoga practice. Some say that it is a matter of three months. See that God is called Atithi in Vedas. Atithi means He who has no date of His visit i.e., you can not fix date for appointment. If we say for three months or so, it means we have ordered God to be present before us within three months where as Atharvaveda mantra 4/30/3 states that after seeing the good quality and tapsya etc., of an aspirant God Himself makes the aspirant able to realize Him at any date which is fix by God and not by man. Hence time bound Kundalni Jagran is not possible as no one can give order to God. Geeta book says, “BAHUNAAM JANAMNA ANTE” means after so many births aspirants realizes God. So yoga should be learnt and practised faithfully. It is up to God and Gurujee when kundalini is awakened. Because awakened means realization of God.
So one must listen to Vedas, must do the pious deeds according to Vedas, must do daily hawan, Yajyen, must recite holy name of God daily and must do hard practice of Ashtang Yoga under guidance of learned Acharya so that his kundalini gets awakened.

Devinder: I got a marriage proposal & met the girl. We liked each other a lot but according to our janampatris our gunas din’t matched well. What should we do?
Swami Ramswarup: As per Vedas, Janam Patri does not decide the gunnas and the marriage. However, both sides must know about the qualities of family, boys and girls and if it suits then marriage must be arranged.

Aarti: Please tell me the name of the book which has method of doing havan at home alongwith Sanskrit mantras. What is the cost? Also if I am doing havan alone, can I hold the rosary (japmala) in my left hand for counting the mantras while putting ghee ahuti in the fire with right hand?
Swami Ramswarup: Name of book is “Yajyen Karma- Sarveshreshth Ishwar Pooja” worth rs.65/- excluding Postal charges. Book can be sent by VPP also. In this regard cassette worth Rs.25/- is also necessary wherein the procedure has also been told to perform hawan. Japmala is not required while doing hawan because the hawan/Yajyen is itself the best pious deed and worship of God.

Rahul:In the explanation of Sanskaars, you have mentioned KARNVEDH sanskaar as the 9th sanskar. In VISHUDHA MANUSMRITI send to me by you, after second shloka of second chapter, in the table given, Prof. Surendra kumar has mentioned Upanayan sanskar as the 9th one. He has not said anything about Karnvedh at all. But he has mentioned KESHANT sanskar as 11th one which you have not mentioned at all. Please clarify.
Swami Ramswarup: There is a Karnnabedh sanskar which must be performed. It is performed between the age of 3 to 5 years and Upnayan sanskar at the age of 8 years.

Deepak: I will be grateful if you could please guide me. I want to learn about Vedas but because I’m not based in India I cannot find any Acharya for guidance here.
Please guide me what would be the best way I can learn Vedas while in a distant land.
I have bought books on Upanishads, Patanjali Maharaj’s yog sutras and Shrimad Bhagvad Gita. I have also developed my little practice i.e. prayers, doing yog, pranayama, mantra jap etc. and Where I can get books on Ved translations?
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you for a long , happy life. Yours view to study Vedas are highly appreciated. Because it is an eternal knowledge which emanates
direct from God and throws light, in universe right from straw to Braham. It is good that you have bought the books mentioned by you but the main point is this that the commentators on the books must be learned of four Vedas. Otherwise the real meaning will not be understood. If you know Hindi, then Patanjal Yog Darshan , Bhagwad Geeta, vedic satsang sangrah, Yajyen Karma – Sarvashreshtha Ishwar Pooja are beneficial
for an aspirant who desires to enter Vedic philosophy. Books can be sent on receipt of your postal address. Explanation of Ved mantras are also being displayed on this website which may please be seen there. Cds on pravachan on Vedas can also be sent to study Vedas please. This all is enough for a beginner to know about Vedas. You may also send e-mail for any doubt in Vedas, to clear the same please.

Mridula:Auspicious days for Upanayan Sanskar in 2007?
Swami Ramswarup: Upnayan sanskar is performed in between the age of six to eight years. Any suitable day may be selected for the same, please. Vedas say all days are
pious but must be selected as per suitability.

Krishna: When will I get success in life and will be on top?
Swami Ramswarup: It all depends on your firm decision and hard working. God helps those who help themselves. So your hard work, concentration, devotion, dedication will only serve the purpose. In addition, the most important thing is to remember the God every time. Therefore please try to do havan daily even with Gayatri Mantra. Spiritual books can be sent from here if you so desire.

Rashmi Sahu: Swami ji a report is published in newspaper that by 2050 there are going to be major climatic changes in the world and in India there will be severe shortage of water and the crop production will be less. Please tell me is it going to be true if yes how can be restore and maintain the environment please tell a remedy for all us to follow to keep the sanctity beauty, and cultivation quality of our land India.
Swami Ramswarup: Though the present science tells the facts based on their research etc., which must be taken seriously yet there is a next top most authority i.e., Almighty God who nurse us. So we must do daily havan and worship of God under guidance of an Acharya as stated in Vedas to finish the nature’s catastrophe. But the whole world is not aware of good result of Yajyen and Vedic path and hence the problem. Secondly, the world will remain for another one Arab years. Therefore the persons who will always be under protection of God will sure remain alive. It does not mean that Vedas, God or any learned person has any evil design against anybody. On the contrary, the said authorities always shower blessings for the benefit of living beings. But there is a remedy for facing the result of karmas, by a person himself. So always do the pious deeds to be happy and contented.

Karan: Many many thanks for your reply and invaluable guidance. I am indebted to you for taking your time off and addressing my concerns. Just one more thing Swamiji….you had mentioned that going abroad is not a sin if I am not thinking of settling there permanently. But in my case, I am thinking of settling there permanently with my parents, wife and child….is this wrong in anyway ? As all my family will be there with me and i will be earning for my family honestly and sincerely…how can this deed be wrong? Because GOD has made earth and man has only made nations to differentiate…so what’s wrong in settling permanently there? Also, swamiji…is there anything wrong in drinking milk and consuming milk products like butter, curd etc. as many vegans state that cow’s milk is meant for her calf and not for human beings!
Swami Ramswarup: Yes please you may go ahead to go abroad along with your family, my blessings are with you. The milk of cow is vegetarian as the milk of the mother to a baby is vegetarian. In all Vedas, God has instructed to take the milk. So it is fully vegetarian. On the other hand God has strictly prohibited any kind of meat. As regards calf, some portion of the milk of cow is to be given and not full. Yes egg is also prohibited. We have to follow the orders of God mentioned in Vedas and not orders of

Rama Rao: What is the difference between paramasiva, parasiva, sadasiva, maheswara, siva, rudra, isana? What is the role of ashtavasus and who are they? What
is the meaning of bhairava and bhairavi?
Swami Ramswarup: The names quoted by you are the synonyms of one formless, Almighty God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe. Ashtavasus are – Prithivi (earth), Jal (water), Agni (Fire), Vayu (air), Antarikash(space), Nakshtra (planets), Aditya (heavenly bodies emitting light), chandrama (moon) which are mean to assist the living beings to survive. Bhairav and Bhairavi are two ragas in Shastriya sangeet but you may send e-mail again if you are not satisfy and your idea is to indicate Bhairav and Bhairavi as Devi-Devtas.

Mahesh: If everything is destined in this world, why we have to work hard or why we have to think of God. If everything is destined, then, even God can’t do anything; I feel. Then, why we are, in this world.. Because , we can do anything in this world , according to our wishes. I am confused, Guruji.
Swami Ramswarup: Everything is destined in the world, there is no doubt, but soul which resides in the body is immortal and we have to work hard and think of God to give the pleasure and peace to soul because it is a necessity to a soul. The said necessity is acquired by getting progresses in both ways- elementalism i.e. worldly education, science etc and spiritualism. So the human body is meant to utilize the worldly materials to do the hard work and Tapasya for the said two subjects to attain the salvation, which is the main motto of human body.

God is commander of the universe and is called Almighty. So why God being Almighty cannot do anything? Almighty means God has all powers to do justice, creation, nursing, destruction and again creation etc.

Every body is free to do anything in this world at his own i.e. pious deeds or sins. But result is awarded by God. So we must always do pious deeds according to Vedas as told by God in the four Vedas. There are three types of deeds (karmas) – sanchit, prarabhadh and kriyamann. Suppose one soul has to take birth (body). It means he has to face total number of deeds of his all previous lives and these deeds are called sanchit karmas but sanchit deeds are huge/unlimited and cannot be faced in one life. So the karmas which can be faced in one life are called prarabhadh (luck-destiny). So God has not made our luck at His own but Almighty God has taken the deeds which we have already done.

Yajurveda mantra 7/48 clarifies that human being is free to do any deed good or bad but God only awards the result. Now the balance deeds from sanchit deeds will be counted in the next life. Now the deeds which we do in our day today present life are called kriyamann.

If we do pious deeds according to Vedas, shastras and holy books and based on pious preaches of Rishi, Muni/learned saints then our all sanchit deeds are burnt and we can get salvation. Human beings are free in the matter of doing deeds good or bad. But result will be awarded by God. So we must worship and do pious deeds under guidance of a learned Guru. One should go always ahead for hard working, pious deeds, worship to make future bright himself. One should always work hard towards a right path.

Worship does not mean that we are free to discharge only our family duties, education, etc., but rather it is a sin. We have to get progress in both way at a time i.e., spiritualism and worldly progress i.e., science, education, duties towards family etc. God creates the universe according to His eternal law framed in Vedas which are always unchangeable and unchallengeable. So we have to follow the law of God always to get long happy life.

Amiit: Can atamshudhi work for countering the effects of bad deeds or prevent future bad deeds? The relation and work is not good. 2 What Ii was thinking hawan for atmshudi and home shudhi so that we can come out of it otherwise it will be dangerous for us. I think someone has done black magic. I want to have hawna and pooja but I cant say we can afford daily hawan? I think I had asked lots of questions but what can I do lots of questions are connected and haunting my mind?

Swami Ramswarup: (1) You are always welcome to come here. Life is a
struggle to face the problems happily. A hard worker always succeeds in his task. One should always be brave to struggle hard and not to be nervous.

Yes, it is everyone’s views that some are harassed physically or mentally. But problem is this that reason behind is it remains unseen, unsolved and unknown. Whatever may be the reason, be known first either by some old learned person who is always impartial or by some Acharya as the faults are not checked by a person himself. So please do not worry
but always try to solve the problems. Here the atma-shuddhi is this that a person must know his own mistakes to finish the same.

Differences are due to different natures of the family members. So compromise is the only solution otherwise spiritual knowledge is required to finish the differences. And your views are highly appreciated that you desire to study Vedas. Vedas are light of wisdom to finish the ignorance.

(2) Yes, Havan is the best religious deed for atma shuddhi. Please, go ahead for the same with immediate effect. You may start havan with Gayatri Mantra, daily both times.

(3) One must be very clear that there is no black magic, Kaal sarp dosh, Vastu etc., as it is not mentioned in Vedas so please do not be afraid of black magic etc. But you must take care of your health and must become an earning hand immediately. Please try for the same at your level best.

(4 & 5) One packet havan samagri worth Rs.30/- (of one kg weight) in a daily havan, 100 gm- desi ghee and woods(20-30 rupees) is enough for a week. If samagri is costly locally then mixture of atta, dal (pulses), dried leaves of flowers and peepal can be used.

(6) Kaam, Krodh, Mad, Lobh, Ahankar are the enemies of the soul and he who controls the same by Vedic knowledge then he is called a Yogi.

(7) Creation of the God cannot be challenged being eternal and natural (automatic).Pot is made by a potter. Pot is made of clay, water, air but no constituent i.e., Water, Air etc., is seen separately in the pot. So is the body. Ego is ahankaar which was seen in Ravann, Duryodhan and they were ruined. When there is no atma shuddhi which I explained in
earlier e-mail then atma acts under the order of mind and intellect. Then soul obeys the order of mind and intellect and the orders from mind and intellect are always sinful, if there is no atma shuddhi. And thus a person at this juncture becomes criminal by obeying the orders of impure/corrupt mind and intellect.

You have lot of questions but mere answers will do nothing. One has to listen to Vedas to obey them to do pious deeds.

Karan: Respected Swamiji, Sadarpranam. Many many thanks for your reply
and invaluable guidance. I am indebted to you for taking your time off and addressing my concerns. Just one more thing Swamiji….you had mentioned that going abroad is not a sin if I am not thinking of settling there permanently. But in my case, I am thinking of settling there permanently with my parents, wife and child….is this wrong in anyway? As all my family will be there with me and I will be earning for my family honestly and sincerely…how can this deed be wrong? Because GOD has made earth and man has only made nations to differentiate…so what’s wrong in settling permanently there? Also, swamiji…is there anything wrong in drinking milk and consuming milk products like
butter, curd etc as many vegans state that cow’s milk is meant for her calf and not for human beings!

Swami Ramswarup: If you wish to go abroad permanently, keeping in mind your family’s future then you may proceed further happily. This is not wrong please because you will be with your family. Full milk of cow is not meant for calf. Vedas tell that human-being must take cow’s milk.

rashmi: Kindly suggest some aasan to reduce stomach and lower abdominal reason quickly.

Swami Ramswarup: Vajra aasan, Ardhmatisindari aasan, sarp aasan,
Uttanpad aasan, Pashumuttan aasan, Padmasan are beneficial. A long morning walk and light exercises are also necessary.

Prakash Lakhani: Regarding JANEW . What is the Importance of “Janew” in Hindu Religion? How many threads in it, three or seven ? How much is its weight? What is its benefit from health point of view? I have seen some people keeping it on the ear at the time of passing Urine . Why? Regarding Choti or Shikha, what is the Importance of “Choti or Shikha ” in Hindu Religion? What is its benefit from health point of view? About Dhoti, why Dhoti in Hindu Religion?

Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. According to the true Vedic philosophy the custom to wear the Janeyu is eternal made by God. Janeyu has three threads which are indication of Raj, Tam and Satv gunas. There is a knot in the thread which indicates and reminds every time that we have taken oath to bind the said three gunas because the gunas have proud, anger, laziness, greediness and various sins.

Further the said three threads also remind us to discharge duties towards Rishirin, Pitririn and Devrin. Rishirin means we have to serve the learned Rishis to obtain knowledge both worldly and spiritual. Pitririn means after completion of brahmacharya ashram our parents entered Grihasthashram (family life being married) and gave us birth. This tradition we have to follow and we have to serve the parents also. Devrin means after completion of grihasthashram we have to enter Vanprasth ashram to learn and donate the knowledge to the society. In a Sanskrit shlok it is mentioned that the Yajopavit gives us long happy life. Only three threads are there in janeyu and not more. Weight is not considered but normal thread is used.

(3) Dhoti, gives some benefits When dhoti is tied on waist. Then the waist and the stomach remain in right proportion to body and do not bulge out. In dhoti, more oxygen is consumed by the lower body i.e., from abdomen to lower foot. In the old time when a person used to go for long journeys, he had to drink water from river or well. Dhoti could be used to strain water. In all the seasons, dhoti after washing gets dried up more quickly, than other clothes. Dhoti is a identification especially of a Brahmin. However, now the other types of suits, shirts, pants etc., have been discovered. Dhoti has since been ignored.

RAVINDER: Who was Ravan’s father?

Swami Ramswarup: Vishrva muni was the father of Ravanna.

Krishna: Origin and the management of this world? plz firstly say in brief and in detail that what the each four Ved contain about this world? I just want to know about
that how deep the Ved goes about the world.

Swami Ramswarup: Rigveda mandal 10 sukta 129 states that there are three eternal matters i.e.,
(a) Almighty God
(b) Souls
(c) prakriti
God and souls are alive and eternal. From God and souls nothing is made whereas from prakriti which is non-alive universe is created. After final destruction of the universe at an appropriate time, the power of God acts in Prakriti and first matter of the world
“Mahat” i.e., intellect is made. Then from intellect “Ahankar”, “Panch Tan Matrani”, “Panch Mahabhoot”, Sun, Moon,Vegetation and every matter of the universe is originated.

Learned Metterlic in his book, “The Great Secret” has written “Let us once give ear to Rigveda, the most authentic echo of the most immortal traditions, let us note how it appreciates the formidable problem.

“There was neither being or non-being. There was neither atmosphere nor heavens above the atmosphere. What moved, and whither? And in whose care? Were there waters and the bottomless deep?

There was then neither death nor immortality. The day was not divided from the night. Only one breathed in Himself without extraneous breath and apart from Him, there was nothing.

“There, for the first time desire awoke within Him, this was the first seed of the spirit. The sages, full of understanding, striving within their hearts, discovered in non-being the link with being.(Rigveda mandal 10 sukta 129 Mantra 1,2,,4).

As regards management, Vedas tell right from straw to Brahma. For eg:- Vedas tell to perform Yajyen to end pollution and to get long, happy life etc. Vedas tell about management that there are three educations-

(1) Science, knowledge of all matters that is regarding sun, moon, air, water, medical science, maths, botany, Zoology, Electronics etc. (2) Deeds, i.e., knowledge about all pious deeds/moral duties of students, wife, husband, saints, sanyasis etc., etc.
(3) Worship i.e., the form of God and how He is to be worshipped in the form of Yajyen, name jaap, Ashtang Yoga practise etc.

So the above three subjects have been mentioned in the shortest possible way because they are too vast to explain. So one should always listen and study four Vedas to be a complete learned.

Varoon: What is the precise and correct meaning of Yajur Veda Adhyaaya 22-25? As I’m sure you know, many misinformed individuals are claiming it has to do with the sacrifice of a horse and other absurdities. This cannot be true, for Vedas contain truth alone, and can never offend morality. I have read better translations of the Yajur Veda (for example, the one by Pandit Devi Chand), and have tried studying the original, yet I would like to hear a detailed answer from you.

Swami Ramswarup: Several times Vedas including Yajurveda produce
a pious word “Adhwaraha” which means The Yajyen or any pious deed has no concern with violence. So the whole world, in a loving mood, must understand that there is
no scope of violence in performing Yajyen as well as worship of God. Secondly, two words are being quoted by the misinformed- one is “Ashwamedh Yajyen” and second is “Narmedh Yajyen”.

Yask Muni has also clarified in his Shatpath Brahmin Granth that here the meaning of
“Ashwa” is nation. So the meaning of “Ashwamedh Yajyen” is the Yajyen which is performed with Ved mantras for the welfare of the nation. Similarly, the meaning of Narmedh Yajyen is to cremate the dead body. This cremation is also called “Daah Sanskar Karma”.

So the arrogants intentionally, on some occasion projected the incorrect meaning of the above two words. They have made their own meaning of Ashwamedh Yajyen to say that horse is slaughtered in a Yajyen and the meaning of Narmedh Yajyen is that sacrifice of a man is made in a Yajyen. The said self-made meanings have been causing a great loss to the Indian culture.

The persons who have been claiming themselves to be of non-violent sect had chance to mislead the Indians to convert Indians into other sects starting that Indian Vedic religion is full of violence.

C K Vatsa: God does not incarnate. But even if we accept, he did; how could he incarnate in two bodies at the same time. I find both Krishna and Balaram, the two
brothers were amongst the ten Avtaras of Vishnu, we are told. Perhaps I am too” alp-buddhi ” to understand His ways. May God forgive me: I don’t mean any offence, Neither to Braham nor to anybody else. I am groping in darkness: trying to find the Truth.
Swami Ramswarup: Kapil Muni in his Sankhya shastra sutra 2/25 states that if there is a proof from Vedas about truth then baselessly the truth cannot be denied, merely
based on false assumptions or self created thoughts/imaginary idea. For eg:- A person states that see the man carrying a bow made of horns of rabbit. In this case, a learned person will never accept the said statement. Because the learned person has been seeing lot of rabbits and has concluded that rabbits do not have horns on their head. So the learned rejects the false statement based on his “Pratyaksha Pramann: i.e., Fact seen by his eyes i.e., perceived by his senses. So is the case of formless God. Yajurveda Mantra 32/3 states that there is no shape of God. All four Vedas produce a pious word “Aj” in respect of God which means He who never takes birth. Yog shastra sutra 1/24 states that God never takes birth to face result of any deed, like a man/woman. We are souls which reside within bodies to face the result of our pious deeds done in the previous lives. But God is above the deeds etc.

Your questions are appreciated please. Nobody must be afraid to put forth questions to clear his misunderstandings otherwise truth cannot be established. All Vedas tell to put forth the questions.

Rekha: My daughter’s and Guru’s Birthday is coming in few months. Swamiji I shall be very grateful if you could kindly let me know what kinds of things I should do my to celebrate their birth days.

Swami Ramswarup: At this occasion, the house must be kept neat and clean, if possible. Hawan, even with Gayatri Mantra must be performed to obtain the blessings of God for a long, happy life of your daughter and family. If cake is to be made, that must be vegetarian. Rest of the actions must be pious and can be arranged by your family.

Rekha: Could you send me procedure for performing havan daily at home?

Swami Ramswarup: A cassette in which the procedure to perform the hawan has been explained is being sent to you through my disciple by hand.

Prateek: Respected sir, I m in my youth age (19) and got through my yagyopavit sanskar late when I think I was 14-15 yrs old. My problem is that I don’t have my parents relatives or mentors who could tell me solutions to my problems. The recent problem of mine for which I expect a solution from you is that, I got my yagyopavit threads broken while it got stuck somewhere. I wan’t to know the correct method for changing (to note -i am a kalinga or say utkal brahmin) it moreover I have more problems but first I wan’t to get through this one. Please help me with your soon reply.
Swami Ramswarup: To wear the yajopaveet is an eternal tradition and I appreciate that you wear the same. Now, you must perform a hawan with Ved mantras and after hawan you may change your yajopaveet. You are always welcome to send any problem to be solved.

Rahul: As per your advise I am a pure vegetarian since a long time. Recently, I was reading the ingredients on the package cover of BREAD. The bread cover claims it is 100% vegetarian. But it is mentioned in the ingredients that it contains YEAST. So can I eat bread? Because yeast is a technically a fungus. A special type of yeast called BAKERS (BREWERS YEAST) is used in most bakery products like BREADS etc. So I’m confused whether to consider BREAD as veg or non veg?

Swami Ramswarup: Yeast is also vegetarian, so bread can be consumed as a vegetarian product.

sapna: I want to know whether the person whom I have met is the right person for being my life partner?

Swami Ramswarup: It is not possible to judge from here that whether choice of your life partner is correct or not. You may yourself check the boy and your parents must check the character of boy from his parents and neighbours etc.

preetam: I asked few questions about one month before and I haven’t got the answer sir…..

Swami Ramswarup: I think I have replied all the questions. Yet you may send your question again please.

preetam: Please send me Geeta in English language. I am based in Pakistan.

Swami Ramswarup: Geeta in English is not available with me please.

Rekha: I have a eight years old daughter. I have not done her Karnbhed sanskar yet. I want to do it now. Could youkindly let me know when and how I can do it?

Swami Ramswarup: Karnn Bhedh sanskar is generally performed between the age of three to five years. But for the benefit of the child you must perform now immediately please. You may contact Arya samaj purohit locally to perform the same because I am away and cannot recite Ved mantras.

Seeker: As you said everybody get life according to his/her previous and current births deeds.. When we see some body abusing kids (like in Nithari) what does that mean? The kid is punished for his/her previous birth deeds?

Swami Ramswarup: There are three types of karmas (deeds). Please refer to the article on Three Types of Karmas. In such cases as mentioned by your above, present or previous deeds are involved. Secondly, if the baby is innocent then the culprit has done heinous crime for which he will be punished badly by God as well.

rakesh: I have been suffering from great mental depression and bad health from past 6 months. My relationships are going no where. My closest friend betrayed me very badly although my eyes are dry but my heart weeps every moment. I don’t have support from anybody.
Swami Ramswarup: Problems are always due to the previous lives’ deeds. However, human life is meant to gain spiritual as well as worldly knowledge. So you are also advised to wake up early in the morning for a morning walk and exercises. Please daily chant Gayatri Mantra, try to do daily hawan from Gayatri Mantra both times. Also learn aasan, prannyam, meditation to practise the same daily. Please also refer to the article on Shubh Karma.

Rashmi: Swamiji what happens to mother Sita when she goes to Shri Rama’s court after her abandonment at Valmiki’s place. Please enlighten us on this.
Swami Ramswarup: I have clarified this matter so many times and I think you might have not read that Sri Ram never sent Sita to exile. Therefore question to go to Valmikiji’s Ashram does not arise. Valmiki ji has clarified in his Ramayana that Luv and Kush were born in palace in Ayodhya.

Pinky Gupta: What should I do to make my husband stress free. We are a happy family with our two daughters but my husband is not job satisfied. We do not have time
for each other due to long office hours. Please advise on some mantras.

Swami Ramswarup: Cooperation and understanding/compromise give satisfaction. This is time for your husband to earn sufficient money for your family especially for the daughters. So if your husband at present does not have sufficient time to devote to the family then responsibility rests on you to look after the house carefully and to please your husband too. Secondly, your husband must also be satisfied that more and more time he devotes resulting in more and more salary. Second way is to minimize the requirements. Then only one will pay less time to job and more time to the family. Then most important point made by God is that only money, materialistic articles of the world and family cannot give peace/satisfaction. For this purpose one will have to get progress in both spheres i.e., worldly progress in the shape of education, looking after family and earning etc., along with spiritual progress. So please try to chant Gayatri Mantra daily both times. This pious worship must be done by all family members. Also learn Aasan, Pranayam and meditation. Do name jaap (silent repetition of name of God). Some spiritual books have been written by me and one or two whatever you want can be sent on receipt of your postal address if you so desire. Because swadhyaya i.e., daily study of spiritual books (even 1 page) is necessary. This will give peace to the family.

Vijay: I heard some richa of Samaveda at some Shatchandi yagya. I want to know where I can get those mantra written. I remember easiest lines” how how how aaa dadohum aaa dadohaummmmmm”can you please let me know where I can get the mantras?

Swami Ramswarup:The above quoted words are not from Samveda mantras.

Lekshmana Chandra Kindly explain me what are Asta Sidies, their names, their powers, etc? Is each one of the Sidies are exposed in Asta Upanishads chronologically?

Swami Ramswarup:My blessings to you. The Ashta siddhis are Annima, Laghima, Mahima, Praapti, Prakamya, Vashitva, Ishitatva, Satya Sankalp. Its description is mentioned in Patanjal Yog Darshan Sutra 3/45 which may be read please.

Amit Kumar: I want know about Vedic education in what age one can learn Veda? I am 35 year old where I can find acharaya and I don’t know Sanskrit if I can’t learn Sanskrit in this age is there any way to learn Veda? Can I you see my horoscope and suggest?
Swami Ramswarup: Actually Vedas are learnt from the age of 6 years. But nowadays, at any age listening/study of the Vedas can be started. In this connection, Samveda Mantra 1874 states that whenever the aspirant gets awakening, he must dedicate his remaining age to learn Vedas doing practise of Yoga and services of learned Acharya.

Yes, you can also learn Sanskrit in this age. If not you must listen to Vedas only from a learned Acharya. This will be enough and you will be able to get the knowledge. However, first please try to study my Vedic books before entering the Vedas. Knowledge of these books will be useful for you. You may come here first time for a week only to learn Vedas and Yoga philosophy. Money is no problem. You have to bear the expenses of journey only and boarding and lodging are free here. Even no charges of giving Vedic education.

Since kundli/horoscope /teva, kaal sarp dosh /mangal dosh/pitri dosh /navgrah poojan, present astrology are not mentioned in Vedas, so the same are not required to be taken into account. Its our own good/bad deeds which we have face.

Karan K: Please accept my pranam. I am writing this letter to you with lots of hope and believing that the solution from you will rid me of my worries. I was a very bright child in my early years with promises of a great career. I am a very emotional person at heart and especially from early childhood I have always felt a strong urge/inclination to come upto the expectations of my parents. This occupies my mind all the time and I always feel that I am on a mission in this life and have to complete it – the mission being my family’s happiness and well-being always. This is such a strong feeling that it interferes with my day to day living and I cannot even enjoy my life properly when such moments present themselves. A kind of sadness and melancholy engulfs me always and despite my best efforts, I am not able to shun off these negative feelings. My mind always feel very heavy and clogged and though I am intellectually bright, I am unable to use these qualities for success in my career. I have got an opportunity now to settle abroad in a foreign land and though I was very willing for it and excited that because of this I would be able to ensure a better lifestyle for my family. Again some negativity is striking me nowadays. The thought is that I feel it is not right and its a sin to leave my country and go abroad. An inner feeling has started disturbing me by saying “you should not leave your country”. Swamiji, is there anything really wrong in leaving my country?
I will be earning my livelihood there by sweat and toil and would be able to take care of my family in the best possible way. Then why these negativities are affecting my mental peace and happiness? I want to be happy from inside and enjoy life doing good deeds and doing no harm to anybody. Please swamiji, give me a solution to end the burden of this soul. Mental peace and inner happiness is what I am searching for. Is there anyway or my life will be over just hoping to achieve the same and never get it?
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. Yes, please sometimes childhood is spent in happiness and young and or age faces trouble etc. In other cases sometimes childhood is spent in troubles and young or old age becomes shinning. All this is due to the result of our previous good or bad deeds. But our present deeds are valuable. Present pious deeds finish all previous deeds and one becomes happy killing all his sorrows. Expectations generate problems if they are not fulfilled. So, one must always work hard to a right path.

He may seek help from others when needed but he must never expect that the help will be continued or will give good result. So your hard working, earning, pious deeds, daily worship etc., will sure make your family happy. Interferences always come in life and will remain too but the learned hard worker never cares for the same. He faces the interferences and problems happily to overcome the same. If a sailor takes across his boat from one bank to other bank of river safely, in the absence of a storm, then he will not be considered as efficient as the sailor who takes across his boat safely through a stormy river.

So those who are afraid of problems/interferences in life, they can never attain final liberation. They will always be indulged in problems and will always remain worried. So please be brave, take care of your health, try to make contact with the learned to seek advice, follow the Vedic religious, do daily hawan.

All this stated above, (pious deeds) will solve your problems.

To leave the country, to go abroad to earn money is not a sin, please, if you do not think to remain there permanently. You can come back within 10-15 years or whatever period is deemed fit for you. So, please do not lose the chance to go abroad for better prospects. However, if possible, you may come here for two days to take advice and blessings before leaving for abroad.

To be happy from inside, one has to feed the soul with eternal knowledge of Vedas through the speech of an alive Acharya. So please always try to make contact with Acharya and his speech to follow. Whatever, you or the world is doing in the matter of earning money that all is a food of human body only and not of soul which resides in the body. Eternal knowledge of the God when given to the soul through five senses that all is the food of soul and then only permanent peace is attained. So Yajurveda Mantra 40/14 states that human body is meant to get progress in both spheres (materialistic and spiritual) simultaneously. Please be brave and go ahead to get both the progress. My blessings are always with you.

Anonymous:I’ve some questions which are really bothering me and I am very much depressed because of my suchthoughts.1)Swamiji, I wanted to ask why God has made this srishti and why He has send us in this world? You answered once that had
God not sent us here, we (jivaatma) would be in a state like coma. What wrong was it if we were in coma state? We wouldn’t even have known that. 2) Then Vedas emanate from God Himself. Why then He has said us to worship Him and follow the vedas then only we’ll get moksha? Why He told to do His stuti (praise) and upasana (yag and havan and naam jaap) when He Himself is not affected whether we praise Him or not? I know I
am being very thankless at this time to God but I really am in problem Swamiji. 3) How many jivaatmas are there in this world? If some jivaatmas get moksha in this shrishti (until pralay comes), what happens to them in next srishti? Are they still liberated and
remain liberated ever after no matter how ,many times the srishti gets created and destroyed? 4) You mentioned in one answer on your website that God can take back the powers of a liberated soul also if it is not acting according to Vedas but He doesn’t do so because mostly all rishis and munis act according to Vedas. What mostly means here? Is there any example in history when God has taken back the powers of a rishi? You also mentioned once that a rishi who does not follow Vedic path after moksha, the powers are not taken from him but his health may deteriorate. I am not understanding this contradiction. Please explain in detail Swamiji.

Swami Ramswarup:
(1) The creation is eternal and automatic. There is no date of creation of the following:
(A) Almighty God who is alive, immortal, formless, creates, nurses and destroys the universe. He never indulges in any maya, mahamaya, illusion and deeds (good or bad. Yajurveda Mantra 40/8 and Yog shastra Sutra 1/26 also refer).

Soul:- Soul is alive, the purest, away from sins etc. but illusion covers the soul due to which soul has forgotten his original form and hence remains in sorrows, problems etc.

Prakriti:- Non-alive and has three qualities. i.e., Raj, Tam, Satva. At a proper time, the power of God acts in prakriti and the universe is created. So the creation is eternal and automatic. Therefore no question that why it has been or not been created. So is the case of the soul i.e., automatically srishti is created and automatically souls come in body of living beings according to good or bad deeds.

Suppose, soul does not acquire body then it is a law that soul will remain in Sushupt avastha (like in coma). So what will be the use of man or woman who remains in coma for years together?

Vedas:- At the time of non-sexual creation, Vedas emanate direct from God and are originated in the heart of four Rishis. This all is for the benefit of human beings. So Vedas are also eternal as Vedas have not been written by anybody.

So wrong being in coma like stage is that soul will be considered lazy and will be of no use for himself and for others. People when see a person in coma, they feel sad and shower mercy for him. But I may tell here strictly that these lines are based on assumption only which is dangerous klesh as per Yog shastra Sutra 1/6 and 1/9 being Vikalp Vriti, I have explained this Vritti in comments (detailed description) of Yog shastra which may be read there.

In short, Vikalp Vritti is that vritti in which one being a lazy person will be thinking and creating own stories, the fact of which is never seen on the earth. For example -kapil Muni in his Sankhya Shastra sutra 5/52 states that such false knowledge is like a thought that man has horn on his head which is totally false. Secondly if someone says that the man is carrying bow made of horns of hare/rabbit. Whereas rabbit has no horns.

(2) In Vedas God has advised only that if human being wants happiness and to be away from diseases, sorrows, tensions, problems, death etc, then he should follow the Vedas and must do worship of God, otherwise he may avoid Vedas and worship. So there is no compulsion in Vedas to worship God. On the contrary, it is mentioned “Swantrata hi karta” i.e., man or woman are free to follow or not to follow the Vedas but result will be awarded by God. So the knowledge of Vedas is given by the God for the benefit of human beings and not for the benefit of God. Secondly, we all use sun, moon, air, water, earth and every matter of the universe made by God for our benefit and the use their of is already mentioned in Vedas. Then we become happy to utilize the same but still remain in diseases, problems, sorrows etc. Therefore if we obey spiritualism of the Vedas, we will really be happy. This is preached by God in Vedas. So it is upto the people. They may or may not follow the Vedas.

Yes, the God is not affected whether we praise Him or not but people are affected. Why? If we worship, we remain the happiest and if we do not worship we always remain in trouble, sorrows etc. God is our commander and even like our father. Father nurses and so does God while providing us with food etc. So there is only Almighty and omnipresent power in the shape of God who only selflessly nurses us and makes all materials available to us for our benefit. So if in return we do not thank Him then we are indulged in thanklessness which is further a great sin. A gentleman always try to thank the others for the deeds which have been done for him for his benefit. But if we do not remember God who is really more than an ocean/source of all benefits to us then what why will we not be called the most thankless.

(3) Souls are uncountable but God is one who is omnipresent. The soul who has got moksha will remain liberated in the next creation also and he even experiences the time of final destruction and the time of next creation.

(4) I think, I have not used the words mentioned by you please i.e., God can take back the power of a liberated soul also if it is not acting according to Vedas. Please send my exact words. However, soul gets moksha and not body. A yogi who has got moksha touches electric wire knowingly or unknowingly he will die. But soul residing within his body will not be affected. Or somebody gives poison to a liberated person, the effect of poison will be in his body and he will die, then too soul always remains unaffected. Question of not following the Vedic path after moksha never arises, please.

Anonymous: 1) God has given us Vedas to follow them. If one follows them, it is noted as a punya karm and if we dont then its a paap. Am I right? Then why God has asked to worship Him? God doesn’t want any praise etc then why? Please swamiji, forgive me for such ungratefulness towards God but I really want to know. 2) Also if whatever we are getting in this janam is all due to our good or bad deeds in the past janams, why do we say that Ishwar ki kripa se ya Guru ki kripa se hua? Ishwar has made these rules that you’ll get phal of your good or bad deeds. What is Guru ki kripa if we’re getting result of our past deeds? Please explain in detail.
Swami Ramswarup: I have clarified the matter above, please. Yes, please. The present birth of human beings is due to the blessings of God and not by any guru. How? A man does pious deeds or sins result of which is awarded by God. So please again note that result is awarded by God. Result is also awarded by a school teacher after examining the papers of the student. Suppose a teacher intentionally declares the result of a student as failed so it is not justified. But in Vedas, God is called supreme judge who never favours anybody or never awards wrong decisions. Otherwise some good deeds may be transferred to a sinner and sins could be awarded to a gentleman. God has all counting of each soul to consider his next birth so it is a blessing of God that he rightly gives us human life.

Karan: How have we born in Earth. What is our goal? Where is God in our heart?
Swami Ramswarup: Our birth is based on our pious deeds and sins. Our goal is to realize God by the blessings of a learned Acharya. God is everywhere being omnipresent but whenever is soul realizes him the merriment is experienced in heart. Therefore we say that God is in our heart. Secondly, God is always realized in the heart of human body, not other bodies or even not outside any bodies.

Rekha: I do havan on special occasions. I want to do it daily. I am working lady and my husband and daughter leave home early in the morning. Kindly suggest me how can I do? What kind of things are required for havan at home and procedure?
Swami Ramswarup: Dear daughter, your pious deeds to do havan is appreciated . Havan or Yajyen is to be performed by all because it is even an order of God in the Vedas. So why must we not obey the God, He being our father who nurses us too. So please try to do havan daily, both times. Samveda Mantra 14 states that one should do worship of God daily both times. This will give you and your family a long happy life. Your husband being earning member and your daughter either student or earning member go to their jobs in the morning. Then you have sufficient time to do havan daily. Atharvaveda states that lady is required do her 1000’s of moral duties daily in which worldly as well as spiritual deeds are counted. Spiritual deeds are to be performed in the morning and evening only, while doing havan, name jaap, meditation etc., whereas full day is left to discharge other moral duties for the family and house. One should never be lazy. Procedure to perform havan has been preached by one in a cassette and has also been mentioned in one of my book with all Ved mantras and its hindi explanation. So both the material will be sent on receipt of your postal address if you desire please. Otherwise I will have to explain on this website which is lengthy one.

Amiit_: I was reading your site. You said we shouldn’t weep but man will not weep than he will become more selfish and kami karodhi whatever sadness is going it should come out from his body. God has given us this emotion to clean our mind from
every pain and suffering with sorrow water means tears. When he doesn’t cry than it remains in and that spoils their body and their thought. What is the mean of atam shudhi
I’m trying to be follow bhramcharya. I’m reading Right now Bhagwat Purana and my cleansing course is already began. My whole family is blocked in negative thought and
my astrologer said some evil force are working. Do you handle this mail personally?

Swami Ramswarup:Sorrows, tears, laziness, greed, pride, sensuality, anger etc., effect a person who does not gain spiritual knowledge. In Bhagwad Geeta, Arjun was also effected by greed, attachment and laziness etc., due to illusion. But when he was given to spiritual knowledge by Sri Krishna Maharaj, he left all the illusion at that time and even killed his loving grand father Bheesham Pitamah and did not weep. Arjun’s son was also killed but due to the knowledge gained by Sri Krishna, he did not weep. On the contrary, he fought with Jaydrath and killed him next day. Atharvaveda Mantra 8/1/8 also states not to weep for those who have left for heavenly abode otherwise one who weeps will also reduce his life. If Arjun had no control on himself and wept then he could not have killed the enemy. But Arjun had taken the spiritual knowledge from Yogeshwer Sri Krishna that soul is immortal, he was not body but soul. If a person does not weep and faces the problems happily then problems are made to weep i.e., problems are solved. But as I told earlier, in this connection, a spiritual knowledge is required for which lot of preach is listened and Yoga practice under guidance of an Acharya is done etc.

On the other hand, in critical circumstances, tears are flow from eyes for some time. This is not bad. But the instance for which the person wept must not be remembered to weep again. For e.g.:- King Dashrath and his wives also wept at the time of exile of Ram. So if a person does not weep he will not be Kami, Krodhi, selfish. For e.g. King Dashrath and
his wives were not kaami, krodhi, etc. So their weeping or non-weeping makes no difference. If a person is not learned, no doubt, the pain will remain with in him if he does not weep but question arises, when he is not learned, he will sure weep. So weeping
and non-weeping is a question which pertains to a learned.

Human body is blessed by God to be a learned to attain salvation for which everybody must try hard.

Nithari culprit wept before the police as heard in the T.V. news. But he is such a dangerous man that he now looks not to be worried because he has seen so many girls weeping before him which the devil ignored. So your idea is not to the point.

To overcome the illusion is called Atmashudhi. Soul is immortal, the purest and form of merriment and we are souls and reside in the bodies. It means body is a residence of soul. Body is made of five elements of Prakriti. Prakriti is non-alive, so five elements, as well as our body is non-alive and is therefore destructible. But we the souls who reside in the body have the above quoted qualities like being the purest etc.

Since soul is the purest so no illusion like sensuality, anger, greed, pride, attachment etc., can effect or enter the soul. But due to lack of knowledge the soul has forgotten its self-realization i.e., soul is the purest etc., but soul thinks that he is not pure, he is indulged in vices like sensuality, greed, attachment, he is in sorrows, tensions etc. There is an example to understand the same.

The sun has abundance of light i.e., sun is a form of unlimited light. But some times especially in rainy season, black clouds cover the sun and the said light of the sun is almost stopped. This is again clear, is due to clouds that over shadow the sun. In this case too the sun is a form of light and no power or shadow of the clouds can disturb, enter or effect the light of the sun but only cover it. It is to be understood that the sunlight has been covered by the clouds but the clouds have not made any effect on the sun. Neither the sunlight has been minimized, decreased nor finished. So is the case of soul. There is no power of illusion to enter or make any effect on soul but can only cover with the result soul becomes unable to realize himself with his above quoted qualities. Hence, atmashudhi is not required but illusion is to be finished. So the cover i.e., illusion when is finished by an aspirant with the blessings of an Acharya, then only the soul becomes able to understand himself that he is the purest, immortal, alive and he is separate and his body is separate. The said situation is called Atma Shudhi.

Blessing of Acharya means that the Acharya who knows four Vedas, shastras and other holy books and knowledge mentioned therein, Yoga Philosophy etc. When he gives the same knowledge to be practised by the aspirant and the aspirant follows the path then he realizes himself.

At this juncture, the illusion of the aspirant is over and he realizes himself with the above qualities which is called AtmaShudhi.

It is upto you that you can read Bhagwad purann. Better if you study Vedic culture also.

Evil force/black magic etc., are nothing as it is not mentioned in Vedas. It is our own deeds result which gives us sorrows, tensions, problems etc. A real worship kills the same and the aspirant becomes okay. One must always do hard work towards a right side. I handle the mails personally and give answer thereof myself.

Deepak Chainani: Some of my friends says that when their gurujis gave guru mantra and slowly slowly chanting this mantra only their kundalini raised please can u say is chanting with close eyes only kundalini can raise or what?
Swami Ramswarup: Kundalini is not awakened until Vedic Acharya/guru gives Vedic knowledge and the knowledge of Yoga Philosophy please. So one must chant Gayatri Mantra daily as it is mentioned in Vedas and must perform daily havan even with Gayatri Mantra. Must do jaap (Silent repetition) of holy name of God like Om, must learn aasan, pranayam and meditation to be practised. In addition, one should always be alert to perform all his family/moral duties faithfully.

Satish:We saw a bride recently and upon matching both her and my
kundli, we were told that there was a kundli dosh (like serpent and
mongoose), because of this proposal was dropped. Is there any was this
dhosh can be rectified? like holding some special pooja or ceremony?
Please let me know.

Swami Ramswarup: Vedas are eternal and knowledge direct from
God wherein such kundli dosh, kaal sarp yog dosh etc., are not mentioned,
please. So you need not to worry. Please try to do havan daily even from
gayatri mantra, which is a great worship of god and will give you benefit.
This is all based on our previous lives’ pious deeds and sins. So there is
no effect of kundali dosh etc., in the life, but effect of deeds (karmas)
only. So one must do always pious deeds to be happy. Present pious deeds
can burn our previous deeds also and life’s time can also be extended
vide Yajurveda mantra 3/62. So, you may go ahead please. The happiness or
sorrows are due to the result of our previous lives’ deeds which are
finished by daily worship. So we must follow Vedas’ path. To kill the said
deeds, one should do daily havan, holy name jaap of God and learn Ashtang
Yoga philosophy to be practised.

Vikas: What is the difference between “SRIMAD BHAGWATAM” (Main
Puranas) and the “GITA” (Itihasas)? How “MAHABHARATA” relates to both?
Please Clarify.

Swami Ramswarup: Srimad Bhagwatam is a purann whereas Bhagwad
Gita is an extract of Bheeshma Parv of Mahabharat epic written by Vyas
muniji, philosopher of Vedas. You are advised to read my book-“Srimad
Bhagwad Geeta- Ek Vedic Rehasya” if possible. However, both are not
related to each other.

Vikas: Kindly advice any correction in following information
related to four
1. The word VEDA comes from the root “VID” meaning to “TO KNOW”.
2. Together the four Vedas contain over 20,000 Mantras (hymns).
3. The above classification was done by Rishi Veda Vyas who COMPILED the
original hymns into three categories namely Prose Prose, Poetry and Song.

4. Veda Vyas was only the COMPILER, not the originator of the Vedas.
5. The learned men to whom the knowledge was FIRST revealed are called

Swami Ramswarup: (1) “Vid” is sanskrit dhatu which is used in
sense of knowledge. So word Ved is made from ‘Vid’ dhatu and all four
Vedas are source of knowledge of universe right from straw to Brahma.
(2) Yes, please.
(3) Samveda is sung. Atharvaveda is also in chhand. Rigveda and Yajurveda
are chanted. But no question of prose.

4. Veda Vyas was only the COMPILER, not the originator
of the Vedas.
5. The learned men to whom the knowledge was FIRST revealed are called
6. Accepted as the direct or indirect source of all sacred books
pertaining to Hinduism.
Swami Ramswarup: Vedas, as already
told, have not been written by anybody, being direct from God. This
knowledge upto Mahabharat time was traditionally given orally from heart
to heart. During Mahabharat kaal, Vyas muni who learnt the Vedas, in
person, orally from his Acharya, wrote the Vedas on bhoj patra first time.

(5) Yes.
(6) Not only Hindus but all the true granths are from Vedas.
Rigveda (first book) 1. Deals with General Knowledge … Krishna
(Black) Yajur Veda. Yes, please. But Rigveda contains all matters of
world-science too. Atharvaveda (fourth book)1 to 4:- Atharvaveda deals
with Brahma vidya and medicines which I have already been mentioning. Rest
is okay.

Vikas: Vedas are the most ancient. Even after the several changes
which had taken place in our ideas, languages, and religion over the past
so many centuries, then:
1. Who and how can one guarantee the knowledge preset in Vedas have not
changed till today?
2. How can verbally transferred knowledge be verified about its
authenticity? Are there common standard/rule to check if there is a
mistake in Veda’s presentation?
3. Do we still have great Rishis today, who can correct any
misinterpretation in Vedas, if any?

Swami Ramswarup: (1) Alive Rishi is a guarantee. I have already
explained this question on website. Please, see the website.
(2) One has to go to a learned Acharya of Vedas who is alive. A person
prefers to seek the job all over India and abroad but has no time to seek
a learned Acharya.
(3) Vedas have no misinterpretation, please.

Vikas: Yajur Vedas was very popular among the priest, so it has
many versions. The well known versions are: 1. Shukla (White) Yajur Veda,
and 2. Krishna (Black) Yajur Veda. What is the difference between above
two versions?

Swami Ramswarup: Ved mantras are direct from God to give
knowledge to human beings. Therefore one must study four Vedas which has
no difference. This will be understood after study only.

aarti: What material of statue is best for God in the home : stone
or metal?

Swami Ramswarup: All four Vedas clarify that God is formless,
omnipresent, Almighty and He only creates, nurses and destroys the
universe. Yajurveda Mantra 32/3 states that statue of the God cannot be
made as He is formless. However, if you want to make the statue, you may
go ahead please, at your own.

Rashmi: I have earlier expressed desires to learn Vedas to you. Can
guide me? Swamiji from where should I buy authentic Valmiki Ramayan in
Sanskrit with explanations in Hindi? Please guide. Further can you please
give me a copy of book brahmacharya? With your grace I have been aspired
into spiritual realms of God. I am doing yoga since 2001 but till now
never meditated .But I always do yoga. I have stopped eating non veg and a
thought of going to a solitude place come to do yoga, meditation and
realise God. But as I am married I have responsibilities towards husband
and son and still in armed forces. Swami ji sincerely I want to realise
God in this birth. I have understood the aim of human life. I want to meet
u in person swamiji do you come to Mumbai? Please inform me. I will come
to your abode as soon as possible.

Swami Ramswarup:You may contact with “Mr. and Mrs. Hassanand
sons” Nai Sadak, delhi, to get Valmiki Ramayan. I think book on
Brahamcharya was sent to you. However, copy of the same is being sent to
you. It is the best step taken by you to stop non-veg. In Atharvaveda it
is stated that God forgives such persons. Yours views are also appreciated
