Arun: Five bad powers of maya i.e. kam, krodh, lobh, moh,and ahnkar influence everybody. Every person does bad deeds under influence of these powers of maya. Is it true that listening to divine music during ashtang yoga leads to get ride off these powers or is there any other way to reduce to minimum the influence of these powers?
Swami Ram Swarup: Yes, somehow the listening of inner divine music helps in concentration but it is not enough. The aspirant will have to do hard practice of Ashtang Yoga, do yajyen, name jaap, make contact with learned acharya to exercise control the five attributes of maya i.e., Kaam, Krodh etc. No, no other way, please.

Sushil: (1) is there any thousand pallet lotus in the way of soul to satlok.
(2) what is bunknal(narrow passage)
(3) Is this true that when e person exercises ashtang yoga and makes some progress, the maya apply its force in reverse direction to push the person backward?
(4) If a person makes some progress in spiritual while execrcising ashtang yoga but fails to acieve the top position and the death occurs,is it true that he can complete his remaining progress while residing in suksham or karan body while staying at any of upper mandal between mrityulok and satlok.
(5) is it true that a person who exercise ashtang yoga may be able to know the past and future of every person
(6) Is it true that it is prefixed by God when a person exercising ashtang yoga will see light inside and listen the divine music
Swami Ram Swarup: (1) here I paste one of my answer-
The names asked by you relate to inner knowledge of human body and not external. For example- Sahastra Dal Kanwal is a place at the top of head which can’t be explained here in detail and I think that it is not even needed. For example- if a student of K.G. class listens somewhere about a ‘word’ – by pass surgery and he puts question to the teacher to let him know about the same then teacher will although praise the K.G. student that he has put up a question of class above then that of M.A, PhD. etc., but on the other hand the teacher will in sweet voice would please the student by telling some other stories relating to his class.

So, an aspirant must start his spiritual journey by listening Vedas, doing name jaap of God, performing daily hawan/yajyen and practice of Yoga Philosophy. The said pious deed is called “real and eternal worship” of God which at a stipulated time would make the aspirant able to realise the meaning of sahastra dal kanwal, hansihi-rukmini, bhanwar Gufa, satlok etc.

However, hansini-rukmini words are not mentioned in Vedas, please.
Yes, some divine instrumental voices which are named ‘Anhad Shabad” by present saints are heard by a Yogi that too who practices the above mentioned real worship of God.

I would also like to mention here that the voice etc., asked by you relates to a Yogi or a Siddha purush or an aspirant, even if he leads a married life, who daily worships the God as mentioned above under guidance of his learned acharya of Vedas. The aspirant devotes more and more time to worship God and after continuing his worship for a long, period, he realises Him.

I would like to throw light here on the fact that some of my disciples who have been practicing the above worship for the last 20-30 years continuously faithfully i.e., without break and sincerely, God has now blessed them to realise and know the above “sahastra dal, anhad shabad” etc., and I very well know that, they neither put any question about “Sahastra dal, anhad shabad” etc., nor I explained, being of no use. When a true, faithful disciple has been continuing his eternal tapasya, sadhna, worship its result is supreme and he gets then what is the use of talking about the supreme stage like sahastra dal etc.

Some saints may brief is to attract his disciple and to spread surprise in spiritualism but every learned acharya knows that the briefing of such subject always goes in vain because the said subject is attained only by the aspirant who leaving behind any desire etc., concentrates himself towards God his learned acharya, his services and the eternal path of worship. That is why, Yogeshwar Sri Krishna Maharaj states in entire Bhagwad Geeta that do the pious deeds and worship but never think/consider for its result because result is not in our hand. So we should never consider about the result of Tapasya i.e., sahastra dal, Bhawar Gufa etc., but Tapasya. Sri Krishna Maharaj especially states in Bhagwad Geeta Shloka 2/47
i.e., Oh Arjun! You only have a right to discharge your duties (to do the deeds) leaving behind the result.

So, we must do our duties and we must in the beginning learn about the services of mother, father, learned atithi, acharya and Almighty God. We must serve and discharge our moral duties towards family, society and nation according to Vedas and holy Granths etc., but must not be indulged in worldly, destructible merriment (Ras) of five senses, perceptions in the shape of listening the attractive statements about sahastardal kanwal, anhad dhwani, bhanwar gufa etc., which are only the result of above quoted worship.

So why should we not start worship to get the result.
Secondly, even if a student wants to become a doctor, he is only preached about the surgery along with its top secret then such preach will never be useful to him until he follows the path i.e., starts his Tapasya/sadhna practically by doing operation under guidance of his professor.

(2) The name i.e., bunknaal has not been mentioned in Vedas, shastras, upnishads, please.

(3) You see, the maya i.e., effect of Raj, Tam, Satto gunna of Prakriti equally try to indulge both daily i.e., aspirant and others. Maya does not in particular attack aspirant alone because it has not been mentioned in Vedas that maya or God take any examination of aspirant.

(4) If a person continues his practice of ashtang yoga philosophy and meets with death without attaining salvation then he would take next birth of human body and his worship will be started from the point from where he left in his previous life.

(5) Past or future is known only by a yogi who has attained dharma-megh-samadhi i.e., who has realized God within him.

(6) Divine music and light are normally experienced by a yogi but it does not mean that he has attained salvation.
