Nitesh: Pranaam guruji please tell me how does wearing of langoti assist in preserving brahmcharya? Can we wear langoti all the day?
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Mere langoti will do nothing. The aspirant requires to maintain his brahamcharya by following Vedic path. I would advise you to read my book “Brahamcharya- Dukh Nivarak Divya Manni” worth Rs.100/- excluding postal charges. It may be sent to you on receipt of your postal address, if you desire. This book will give you immense knowledge about maintaining brahamcharya and intake of vegetarian food etc.

Alvin: Pranaam Guruji, It is coming to the birthday of my chacha ji. He is an avid follower of the Ramayan and a parcharak of the Ramayan. Shri has become his life study. I was wanting to give him a present of the Chaar Vedas in Hindi translation. What is your advice and which one to get ? Bahaut Dhanaywaad Guruji.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Yes, it is your pious desire to present four vedas to your Chachaji. If the Vedas are available with you then its O.K. otherwise you may contact M/S Vijay Kumar Hassanand, Nai Sadak, Delhi. You may also present my CD on Ramayan, which was earlier sent to you.

S B: What are the types of Agnis?
Swami Ram Swarup: There are three types of fire mentioned in Vedas:-
(i) Electric current present in space in the shape of lightening.
(ii) Fire utilized on the earth for the purpose of cooking, fuel etc., and for performing hawan.

Swami Ram Swarup: Aap ko mera ashirwad. Manusmriti shloka 8/151 states that amount of interest to be charged on Rs.100 is only Rs. 1.25. Further, if on capital amount of Rs.100/-, the amount of interest to be levied goes on accumulating and reaches equal to capital amount i.e., Rs.100/-. In this case, then no further interest is to be levied and the case ends. If we take minimum amount of interest, it will increase the wealth, the wealth will never be destroyed and progeny born would not have impious intellect.
