Swami Ram Swarup: Maine pehle bhi kaha ki baba Ramdevji se sabhi ko vedanusar labhdayak gyan aur aushadhi aadi grahann karnee chahiye. Main to sirf adhyatmik gyan ko professional/commercial roop mein dekhna achchha nahin samajhta. Han! aushadhi aadi professional/commercial hone mein kuchh burai nahin hai.
Arya Vinod: Kya phool aur mala se satkar karna aur phool todna ved viruddh hai?
Swami Ram Swarup: Han! Phool todna ved-virudh hai.
Amit: Tu jo chahta hai wo tu karta hai, par hota wo hai jo mein chahta hu. It is which shalok number.
Swami Ram Swarup: In This connection, Yajurved mantra 7/48 states that human-beings are free to do any kind of deed i.e., pious or sin. But result of the karmas is awarded by God. Here, it should be known that if a person is doing any deed, he is doing at his own, here God is not involved i.e., the person is not doing any deed under any pressure of God. As quoted in the above mantra, we are hundred percent free to do any deed, but the result of the deeds are awarded by God in the shape of sorrows (in case of sins) and pleasure [happiness] (in case of pious deed).
This also refers to Bhagwad Geeta shloka 2/47 i.e., Oh! Arjun, you are entitled/empowered only to do the deeds, need not to worry about the result.
