Pankaj: Sir, Charan Sparsh, As per your instruction I did havan while surya grahan started havan at 6.15AM till 6.45AM only recite gayatri mantra, and did some donation after havan,as per my caliber. Now please guide me what I have to do else on amavasya and poornimashi. Need your Blessings.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Havan-yajyen is a worship of God and religious matter. So, it should be performed for entire life daily, as said in four Vedas, shastras, upnishads etc. As regards, Poornnmasi and Amavasya, on these pious days, aahuti of special Ved mantras should be offered in addition. Special Ved mantras for the said occasions have been given and explained in my book- “Sandhya mantra. If the book, is not with you, it can be sent to you on receipt of your postal address, if you so desire. Again My blessings to you.

Simran: I want to ask where does soul of a man go the moment he/she dies. I just want to clarify that as people use to say that Yamraj comes to take and for those who have done good deeds in their lives dharamraj comes to take them. Is there any hell heaven in the sky where the calculations of the deeds of the people are done by giving them punishment and for good deeds the fruits of heaven? They also say in the sky guru hold the hand of the soul to show him the right path. Guruname is the moksha dawar.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, my daughter. In Vedas, the true, eternal qualities of God have been described. There is only one God who creates, nurses, destroys and again creates the universe. This process is eternal. Vedas state that amongst the unlimited qualities of God, He is Almighty, omnipresent, omniscient. Almighty means He has all unlimited powers and His knowledge, power and deeds are natural being Almighty, He does not need any help of anyone. So, Vedas tell the fact that there is no swarg-narak except on this earth and there is no other Devta for example- Indra who assists the God for causing rains or Yamraj for giving the result of karmas and getting the soul out of the bodies etc. He is only one Almighty God whose power creates, nurses and destroys the universe. As regard soul, I paste my article as below-

Atma (Soul)
Atma consists of two meanings according to situation. For example when it is said that atma takes birth, then it means soul and when it is said that atma is Almighty and creates universe, then it means Almighty God. It is usually told nowadays that everything is atma which is false and not possible being against the Vedas. In Vedas, there are three eternal matters Almighty God, prakriti and souls. Almighty God and souls are alive matters whereas prakriti is non –alive matter. From Prakriti, all the matters of universe are created. But neither from God nor soul any matter is created. Soul can never be God being unchangeable and God can also never be soul being unchangeable. Soul due to the attraction towards prakriti is indulged in illusion and forgets his original form of immortal peace, purity etc. and has to face the birth and death again and again.

But Almighty being the commander of the souls and prakriti, is never attracted towards prakriti. He always remains purified. So, God cannot forget his original form and is never indulged in any kind of illusion. Therefore, everything like tree, tube light, stone, electric fan are made of prakriti and hence can never be God.

Vedas tell to follow the Vedic path under the guidance of the acharya who knows Vedas and Ashtang Yoga Philosophy. The devotee who follows it and realises God, attains salvation in present life when he is alive and not after death, please.

Amrit: Some astrologers say that my tasks are adversely impacted by kaalsarp yog.
Please suggest me what to do?
Swami Ram Swarup: Vedas are eternal and knowledge direct from God wherein such horoscope, kaal sarp yog etc., are not mentioned, please. So you need not to worry. Please try to do havan daily even from gayatri mantra, which is a great worship of God and will give you benefit. The meaning of kaal is also time. So death comes according to time for which the God has given life to us. This is all based on our previous lives’ pious deeds and sins. So there is no effect of kaal sarp yog etc., in the life, but effect of deeds (karmas) only. So, one must do always pious deeds to be happy. Present pious deeds can burn our previous deeds also.

The darkness of night gets obliterated only when the sun rises. Similarly, illusion is wiped away by gaining the knowledge of Vedas because in Rigveda, it is said that knowledge of Vedas is like a sunlight which kills the illusion. Knowledge of Vedas emanates direct from God. So the knowledge of Vedas is immortal, eternal like God and takes care of the aspirants just like God. This fact is mostly not known by the public due to lack of listening of Vedas from learned Acharya of Vedas. Hence, the preach delivered by most of the present saints does not tally with the knowledge of Vedas. Therefore, self-made worship and illusion has spread everywhere.

Vedas contain the knowledge of all the matters of the universe right from straw to Brahma (God). The matters mentioned in the Vedas or the truth mentioned in the Vedas is always authentic. Therefore nowadays as well as in the ancient times, the self-made path or the views against the Vedas spread by any king or any person like Ravann, Kansa, Duryodhan, Hirannyakashyap, Shroopnakha etc., has led to origination of militancy, injustice, dictatorship and great damage to the public. Because their self made views were/are totally against the Vedas. Similarly, the mangalik or mangal dosh matter has not been mentioned in Vedas. So, one should never be afraid of the same being unauthentic. So, you may go ahead, neglecting mangal dosh issue. To know the truth regarding any matter, our ancient Rishis have advised to tally the matter with Vedas. Since, in Vedas there is no mention of word manglik so you need not to worry. The people who are not manglik are also suffering from the problems suffered by normal married people. Shri Ram married Sita after breaking the bow. And nobody saw Shri Ram’s teva to tally it with that of Sita. In Mahabharat Yudhishthir married Draupadi by piercing arrow in the eye of a fish (the eye was pierced by Arjun the younger brother of Yudhishthir) and there was no matching of teva or determination of mangalik status etc. Savitri married Satyavan at her own wish without any teva matching etc. Pandu married Kunti and Madri without teva matching or determining manglik dosh.
