Sagar: Swamiji pranam:as you have said in one of your replies that marriages are made by God then when someone gets a divorce and gets married again and lives happily forever? In this case which one is actually decided by god first marriage which ended in divorce or the second marriage which lasted forever? If God decided the first marriage then the parties to the marriage actually gone against God’s wish and got divorce and got married again and lived happily. How can couple go against God’s wish and marry again and live happily in the second marriage? Swamiji please clarify my doubt.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Marriages are in the hands of God means- first based on the previous lives’ deeds marriages occur. Suppose previous lives’ deeds are mostly sins then how this marriage would be successful until husband and wife, following the eternal path of Vedas, destroy their sins by kriyamann karmas (present pious deeds). Second- the divorce of first marriage can promote several marriages.
Manish: May I know the name of the author who first translated these Vedas (Rigveda..)?
Swami Ram Swarup: Maxmuller, Ubhat and several other authors I think translated the RigVeda but I do not know exactly the author who first translated the Vedas. However, their translations are not authentic as compared to Swami Dayanand Saraswatiji.
