Alvin Lal: When Vyas Muni wrote the Vedas on Bhoj Patra for the first time, how did he choose what knowledge from which of the four Vedas Agni, Vayu, Aditya, and Angira goes where? i.e. How did it come to be four books and not five (for example), Rigveda, Samved, Atharvaved, and Yajurved? How was the original knowledge division/ correlation done into four books? How was it categorised, if at all? Meaning from the original 4 Vedas, whose knowledge was transferred by mouth, how was that knowledge divided up into 4 books? Hopefully swamiji you can enlighten me once more..

Swami Ramswarup: Vyas Muni traditionally learnt four Vedas by heart, from Rishis. In Vedas itself God has mentioned the names of four Rishis i.e., Agni, Vayu, Aditya and Angira. In this connection Rigveda Mantra 10/181/1 refers. So Vyas Muniji did not choose any names of Rishis but every knowledge already exists in Vedas which emanates direct from Almighty God. Rishi Patanjali in his Yog shastra sutra 1/26 also states the said fact that Almighty God is the Guru of Agni, Vayu, Aditya and Angira Rishis.

I will advise you to read my book-“Yoga- A Divine Vedas Philosophy” wherein I have clarified all the facts. Brahma was the first man who for the first time studied all four Vedas from the above Rishis. The knowledge has not been divided in the shape of four
books but God has Himself named four Vedas as- Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda, which has been mentioned in Yajurveda Mantra 31/7 and in other Vedas also.

Nila: Here in Portugal we don’t find the twigs of mango tree. May I put the twigs of fig to do havan with gayatri mantra? The havan samagri which things contains?
Swami Ramswarup: Yes, please. You may use fig twigs in havan. Four matters are to be mixed to prepare havan samagri, the kinds of which are several: 1. Sweet matter like jaggery, honey etc. which are mixed on the same day when the havan is performed.
2. Nutritive matters like all pulses, flour, dry fruits, ghee etc. 3. Antibiotic like gyol etc.
4. Fragrant matters like guggal, chandan bala etc. Atta, jau, kale til, rice, nagarmotha, balchhar, etc. can also be mixed.

Shrikant: I am looking for a job change. Is it possible? I have Shani. Please advise for my mental stability. I get irritated soon.
Swami Ramswarup: You may try your level best to seek new better job. One should always strive to get success in life. Shani in the Rashi or any kaal sarp yog etc., have not been mentioned in Vedas and therefore are not authentic please. However, for shanti (peace) Vyas Muni also says in Mahabharat that the best deed to get shanti(peace) is Yajyen. So please try to chant Gayatri Mantra daily and then perform havan from Gayatri Mantra daily. A book on havan will be sent to you on receipt of your postal address, on demand. When you will sit to meditate and chant Gayatri Mantra then changes are possible. If you yourself also take firm step to control yourself and not get irritated. Anger is our enemy. Main enemies are-Kaam (sensuality), Krodh (Anger) etc., which must be killed by doing havan and name jaap otherwise life will be ruined.

dharmendra: swamiji, aap kehte hai ishwar nirakar hai, who har taraf hai to kya ve murty me nahi ho sakte .swamiji, bramhsamhita me likha hai ”ishwar parmah
krishnah” yaha tak aacharya shankaracharya jo nirakar ishwar me viswas rakhte hai ne bhi bhagwan krishna ko param ishwar ke rup me pushti ki hai.bhagwan Krishna ne bhi apne shri bhagwan hone ki pushti bhagvadgeeta me ki hai.swamiji, kya aapne ishwar ko dekha ya anubhav kiya hai? maine bhi granth pade hai par Ved nahi.swamiji, ishwar nirakar hai ise krupa kar spashth kijiye.
Swami Ramswarup: Yes, God is everywhere and is also in moorti (statue) but God is not statue. Statue is a creation wherein creator lives similarly you are soul and you are not body. Body takes food but soul does not. Soul is immortal and survives without food, facilities etc., but soul cannot see, walk, smell, feel sensation without senses and perceptions whereas God being Almighty needs no assistance to listen, see, smell etc. So we have to worship formless God and not statue. We have to praise God quoting His true qualities and in the true qualities shape of statue does not come.

You have quoted brahma samhita but main and self-proof are Vedas being eternal voice of God and not of any writer. Vedas never tell that Sri Krishna took avtar or Sri Krishna is God. Avtar is not possible. Reason is required for Avtar. Please read the article on Avtar for more details.

Narender Reddy: I live in London. I listen to gayathri mantra regularly and follow the preaching of Yogeshwar krishna and watch his mahabharata serial episodes
regularly. I want to know about Vedas and want to follow it. I want to read the books about Vedas. Can you please send me the books for it?
Swami Ramswarup: It is good to listen Gayatri Mantra daily but it is better and the best even to chant Gayatri Mantra with its meaning while sitting on an aasan both times daily. One must also do havan daily even with Gayatri Mantra. Havan is mentioned in Vedas and its process is eternal made by God Himself. So one should never neglect havan by listening false statements of those who do not study Vedas and mislead public by talking against Vedas. We have to think whether we must obey Almighty God to do havan or we should obey the false preach of those who are against the Vedas. Your views to follow the Vedas’ path are highly appreciated please. Whatever, you are saying about Vedas is actually the order of God in Vedas and all those who obey God then God in return blesses them. Books will be sent to you immediately on receipt of your postal address please.

Rekha Nautiyal: I have a eight year daughter. We are very spiritual family. Due to financial reasons we could not have our second child. Still I am very happy. But sometime I feel tense thinking about my daughter’s loneliness. Now our financial position is being improved. Everybody says that you must have one more baby for your daughter. Swami ji whatever I did only to give my daughter a better life. I am little bit confused.
Is am I ignoring my moral duty towards my daughter? Swami ji kindly show me way. Whether I should have my second baby only sake of my daughter. Am I doing any
sin towards my daugher’s feelings?
Swami Ramswarup: As per Vedas, a mother can give birth to a child upto 10 or 11 numbers keeping in view her financial condition or situation. In your case, you are financially sound and can give birth to a loving baby. My blessings to you, your husband and daughter.

Sunil Kumar: What is karma and how can we know our previous lives karma? How much pain and suffering is left and their remedy? If there is God then why is He sitting idle when there is so much corruption, war, hatred, terrorism. The whole world id running after money and other gender. The rich have everything and poor dont have a morsel to eat. What is God doing?
Swami Ramswarup: Pain or suffering of karmas is unlimited please. Because the load of sanchit karmas is uncountable. But all karmas (deeds- good or bad) can be burnt in the present life by real worship of God. It may take another birth time also according to the practice.

So the real remedy is to follow the eternal path of four Vedas. One should listen Vedas
from an experienced Acharya who knows Vedas as well as Ashtang Yoga philosophy which also exist in Vedas. Regular guidance of learned Acharya is needed by the aspirant.

Who says that God is sitting idle? Otherwise who is controlling the universe? Who is giving justice to human-beings in this divine court of law? How the mind is blowing? Earth is moving, Sun is revolving, sun and moon are benefiting production of crops, who is controlling birth and death, who is laughing with in the blooming flowers? Who awakes us in the morning and under which power we go to our bed to sleep and under whose supervision our digestive system works? Who has created the whole universe and
matters etc.

We are taking rest but God never does so. He is our commander and he showers mercy on us by donating the whole world to us along with knowledge of four Vedas to make us learned but most of the people are indulged only in materialistic articles of the world and forget Almighty God and hence the sorrows, problems, tensions, diseases etc.

As regards war, hatred, terrorism, etc. it is man-made problem because of lack of knowledge of Vedas. Yajurvaveda mantra 7/48 clearly states that human beings are free to do good or bad deeds but result is awarded by God accordingly in the shape of happiness and sorrows respectively.

Rashmi: What is ‘KAYAKALP”? and say something about the goodness of ‘GARLIC” for Females? Can it cure cancer?
Swami Ramswarup: Kayakalp means change of body. For e.g. – If a person is 60-70 years old and remains sick, weak etc., but he starts listening Vedas, performing Yajyen, does practice of Ashtang yoga with devotion thereafter sometimes if he does the said worship continuously, he will feel mental as well as physical strength with in
him and a special happiness etc. he will also feel the changes in his body towards betterment. This is called Kayakalp. And if the said person continues to do said worship, then he may increase his age upto 100 years, 150 and even upto 200 years by following the true path of Vedas. Some also say that Kayakalp i.e., change of body is also possible by taking Ayurvedic medicine or ancient formulae of medicines etc.

The benefit of Garlic are as under:-
(1) To control high blood pressure.
(2) To cure constipation and piles
(3) To cure indigestion
(4) To kill germs of stomach.
(5) To control obesity
(6) It is beneficial in common cold
(7) It is even beneficial in urine problem.
(8) It cures diabetes.
(9) Beneficial in fever, loss of appetite
(10) Treatment of boils, acne
(11) kidney problem etc., etc.

No please, it does not have any anti-cancer activity.

Sudheer Gopinath: I am looking for a name if you can please suggest one. Name will be start in hey or dey.
Swami Ramswarup: Hemant, Dev, Devesh.

Dhanesh Padhya: Dandwat pranam guruji! After long time, I have cleared my professional exams and got new job also with better prospects and pay, Apart from my family I felt your contribution in show me the real path as per ved and havan. Thanks very much I want to visit the ashram in future. I am doing only simple havan only as I have to understand the book of agnihotra yagna and as I told you I was engage in the exams and social formality. One thing I want to share with you that My Cousin used to
take alcohol, I told him what i learned from your goodself some of the good thoughts and he left every thing every vishayi, vikar and I also told him to do some japs and havan like me. I am happy that at least i can save one person with your parox guidance.
Swami Ramswarup: It is a happy news that you have cleared your professional exams and got better job. My blessings are always with you to get more and more success in life in spiritualism as well as in worldly pious affairs. It is a great achievement by you to mould your cousin towards a right and true path of Vedas. Really you have been entitled for reward by the blessings of God. I will advise you, if you can arrange a common havan on Sunday to be performed with your nears and dears in morning and after havan you should read out one chapter or half chapter of my book. In this way, Vedas knowledge shall spread and this will be a great service- first to Almighty God and then to learned persons. This will give a great peace to your family. If it is not possible then its okay.

Anand Kishore:Could you please tell me the names of six Shastras?
Swami Ramswarup: Names of six shastras are- (1) Yog shastra (2) Sankhya shastra (3) Vedanta shastra (4) Nyaye shastra (5)Vaisheshik shastra (6) Mimansa shastra
These are called Darshan also.

Shridhar Purohit: Namskar swamaji, I have following questions 1) Why man will become unhappy? 2) Why man we need everything more and more?
Swami Ramswarup: (1):- It is a nature of human being to be always happy. Nobody wants sorrows or unhappiness. So when the desire of men is not fulfilled and he due to his previous lives’ deeds faces sorrows, tensions, unhappiness etc he becomes unhappy. Happiness is always attained when an aspirant becomes able to kill all his previous deeds and desires by doing eternal worship of God according to Vedas.

(2):- When one desire of a person is fulfilled, it means several desires are originated. So desires are like a burning fire which is never satisfied with even unlimited woods (fuel). I mean to say if a man gives fuel (wood) into burning fire, the fire will not be stopped. Succession of wood sticks (fuel) given into fire, burn the fire more and more and will not be satisfied i.e., as many woods as you like can be offered in the fire. So is the desire. If one desire is fulfilled, several desires are generated. If a man gets 10,000 per month as salary and if he is not satisfied then he will try to increase his salary. He will do his best for the same. If the salary is increased, yet he will not be satisfied. But he will have to forceably kill his desires. But the thirst to fulfill the desires will never end till he gets salvation by worshipping God.

Poonam Gandhi: Why did a certain person suffer even after being religious?
Swami Ramswarup: My daughter, after reading your question I conclude that the person did not worship according to Vedas.

Rahul: I want to learn the full Vedas in deep. I have been following yoiur teachings etc since past couple of years. I have complete faith that the truth is Vedas and deep study of Vedas only will help me attain moksha the merriment.
Swami Ramswarup: I appreciate your views because your views are similar to the ancient Rishis that truth is there in Vedas because the knowledge of Vedas emanates direct from God and God is truth.

Preetam: I wish I could meet you but it is not possible for me at present time because I am based in Pakistan. Therefore I request you to please send me your phone number if you feel easy as I may talk to you from Pakistan.
Swami Ramswarup: Dear Preetamji, actually I keep myself always alone in lonely place. I mostly am not available on any telephone please. I write always in daytime and I keep myself busy in morning and evening in meditation and other spiritual activities. So it is very difficult for me to talk on telephone.

Sachin: Pranaam swamiji. My respected greetings to you. You sent me a mail today in which you had again took the favor of Sugreva but swamiji I am not convinced by you. You know I am a brahamachari. My age is 21 years and I think that Sugriva was evil and that is why Sri Ram ji has punished himself in the form of Lord Krishna (hunted by a hunter by arrow). Sugreeva was evil because 1. he killed his elder brother. 2. did not respected his nephew Angad by not making him a king. 3. Marrying with a motherly figure like bhabhi and if I get him then I will punish him. Thanks for taking out your time to answer me once again my respected greetings to you and thanks for sending me the Brahamacharya book.
Swami Ramswarup: Actually the matter of Sugreev or matter of any history/katha will never give peace to anyone. A person always gets peace when he gains spiritual knowledge by listening Vedas and doing worship of God/Ashtang Yoga practice etc. Sri Ram , Krishna and several Rishi-munis and even Rajrishis followed the same path and not only did they get peace but they spread peace in the entire mankind as well.

Secondly, Sugreev or anyone is good or bad really it is a matter of Almighty God. If Sugreev or anybody else was good then he would, he will be happy due to their pious deeds otherwise they will be weeping and facing sorrows. Why should we worry? We must worry about our present always and Vedas tell that our present pious deeds will kill the bad effect of our sins of our previous lives. So rightly some one has told –
“BEETE KA ZIKAR NA KAR” (never discuss past)
AAGE KI FIKAR NA KAR (NEVER WORRY ABOUT FUTURE)
PRESENT KA FAKAR KAR (be proud of present)

Because only our present pious deeds will make our future bright and rightly Almighty God has not written even a single word of story in Vedas except fundamental law of creation, death, birth etc. including knowledge to gain.

You will be surprised to know that I have never listened Ramayan, Puranns, Rasleela etc being past events of history but I have learnt the said books and have made extract from them about fundamental laws pertaining to wisdom only.

Chitra: I have immense beleif in the Vedic way. My immense grattitude to you for the effort you are taking in dispeling misinformation. Hinduism is a vast multi faceted religion. The true path is buried somewhere in a tangle of practices vedic or otherwise. I don’t know how many poojas, and mantras have been adviced to me so far, navgrah, mangal pooja, hanuman chalisa, devi sukt, various other kavach and strotras etc. Which advice does one take? What about the rituals of offering snan, shringar, bhog to God everyday? Also with respect to your advice to another lady on the post, even if nature intended a woman to be calm and peaceful and passive in her relationship with her family, husband, children and inlaws etc. Is it justified for a woman to bear long term abuse and injustice on account of Karma- given that you have also stated that God helps those who help themselves and that it is a sin to suffer evil in silence? Please
clarify.
Swami Ramswarup: Atharvaveda states a gentle and learned person
only desires to listen and attain the knowledge of
Vedas. I am very much happy that you also praise
Vedas. Again Atharvaveda Mantra 8/9/10 states that
rarely there is any learned who knows about the
relation between Almighty God and Vedas. AS per
Rigveda, I may mention here that no one can attain
peace without worship of formless, Almighty God who
creates, nurses and destroys the universe. Again
Mantra states that without knowing vedas’ nobody can
know or worship God. And finally nobody can know Vedas
without a Rishi(a learned dignitary who knows Vedas
and has practised Ashtang Yoga philosophy). Today it
is astonishing and even it is our bad luck that mostly
the present saints are ignorant of vedic knowledge and
therefore have indulged in criticism of Vedas. They
are trying their level best to keep public away from
Yajyen, study of Vedas and Ashtang yoga education.
They have thus deriated the public from Tapa,
Swadhyaye(study of Vedas, yoga practice),
Brahamcharya(celibacy) and Shradha(faith in Vedas and
formless God). Please refer to the article on Vedic Philosophy.

All the worship which you have mentioned in
your above question are not mentioned in the Vedas,
so cannot give peace.

Yes, the karmas philosophy will remain as it is
as per Yajurveda Mantra 7/48 and Rigveda mantras
10/135/1,2,3 wherein it is mentioned that we are
always free to do good or bad deeds but result is
awarded by God and our present birth is to face the
result of previous lives’ deeds and present life’s
deeds(good or bad) will be faced in the future births.

However, neither past nor future deeds have
valves except present, pious deeds. I mean to say if
anyone does pious deeds according to Vedas at present,
then the effect of past and future deeds will be
finished i.e., he will not face the trouble due to his
past deeds at present or in future. So our present
life time is valuable to discharge our duties well
according to Vedas. PROBLEM ARISES WHEN WE DONOT
LISTEN/LEARN VEDAS BY WHICH THE SORROWS ARE KILLED.
One must start the learned of Vedas by chanting name
of God-Om and Gayatri Mantra with meaning. Secondly,
he should perform daily Yajyen even with Gayatri
Mantra. Thirdly, he should learn aasan, prannayam,
meditation etc., from an Acharya. He must do the pious
deeds according to Vedas. Vedas are not difficult as
is being spread by bad elements. One has to listen
only and listening is not difficult. By gaining the
said knowledge practically in life sure good results
are obtained and either lady or gentleman will never
suffer as you have told please.

To keep silent may also be harmful. So in first
stage, the lady must express her truth/views before
the family always in loving manner.

Sri Himaja: I want to know about swadhyay, and in this very busy and developed life, how a person like me can
follow?
Swami Ramswarup: In the commentary of Yog shastra sutra 2/1 Vyas Muni states that to chant the holy name of God (vidhipoorvak Ishwar Ke naam ka jaap) and Yajyen according to Vedas and the study of four vedas and the holy books based on Vedas, which gives salvation is called SWADHYAYE. The said method is to adhered too by all means because God has blessed us with this human life for
the same. Life is not only to study, to earn money and
to enjoy. In this matter there is no excuse please
because Yajurveda mantra 7/48 clearly states that
human beings are free to do good or bad deeds but
result is awarded by God accordingly. Therefore, if we
have no time to worship God then accordingly sorrows,
tensions, sickness, early death and several problems
arise in our life to be faced.

Amit Sharma: I am very grateful to for answering my previous question on my father’s death.
Swami Ramswarup: Sorry to listen about your father. You must be
know brave to discharge your family duties. You can
also get job of your father for which you will have to
try hard. One must do worship and God then blessing.
You are also advised to chant Gayatri Mantra daily
both times. Also please try to do havan daily from
Gayatri Mantra. After Gayatri Mantra pray God always
to fulfill your desire. You will sure and you will
sure get blessiings of God for early settlements of
your sister marriage. My blessings to you my son. You
may send your problems anytime for advise.

PREETAM: How much years before the first human beings came into being? And did we realy got origin from
monkeys? If it is true then why god didn’t create human being before animals?
Swami Ramswarup: . After the final destruction of the previous
universe, the present creation came into existence
about one arab ninety- seven crore eight lakhs and
fifty three thousands years ago.
No, please according to Vedas, we did not
evolve from monkeys. In this connection Rig-Veda
mantra 10/190/1 states-"YATHA POORVAM AKALPYAT" i.e.,
the present creation is similar to the previous
creation. i.e., in the present creation, sun, moon,
earth, bodies of human beings etc., are same as were
in the previous creation, it means the human body
which was in the previous creation is same in the
present creation. The creation is eternal and is
therefore unchangeable, please and there is no mention
of evolution of humans from monkeys in the Vedas.

preetam: According to vedas. is there any concept of other planet where living beings exists?
Swami Ramswarup: According to Vedas, in all planets living beings exist, please.

preetam: Is there any particular day of judgment, according to VEDAS? some says that paradise and hell are not separate planets they are present in
human life. if one is happy means he is in paradise, if one is sad means he is in hell. Please clear my misunderstanding.
Swami Ramswarup: Yes please there is no paradise or hell in heaven etc. All is on this earth to face. Atharvaveda states that if a family is performing his moral duties
according to Vedas, the family will be able to kill his sorrows and will be having long, happy life which
means family is enjoying, in paradise (swarg) and in
the opposite condition if the family is in reverse
condition, it means the family is facing sorrows,
tesions, sickness, problems etc., it is kind of hell
(narak).

mawaram supan: After a hindu dies and is cremated. How many days after cremation is the shaving done?
Swami Ramswarup: Shaving is to be done daily. As regards shaving of head, it is a custom and is dealt with according
the respective sects.

mawaram supan: How many days after cremation is the Bhandara done?
Swami Ramswarup: . In Vedas there is no provision of Bhandara but food is served respectfully to all those who came to attend the cremation etc.

mawaram supan: After the cremation, is any havan done in the home between the cremation and the shaving to cleanse the
house?
Swami Ramswarup: Actually havan is to be performed daily and especially when death occurs, the havan is performed on the same very day uptil thirteen days continuously.
Havan must be performed with Ved- mantras only.

Rahul: I want to learn the full Vedas in deep. I have been following yoiur teachings etc. since past couple of
years. I have complete faith that the truth is Vedas and deep study of Vedas only will help me attain moksha the merriment.
But again how is it possible fopr me to study Vedas? I can come to your place live there as your disciple observing strictr brahmacharya and learn the
vedas But again what about my future? I am 18 years old and want to become a doctor. If I come to you for learming Vedas then I will not be able to become a
doctor. My parents will object. The community will object. What shall I do?
Swami Ramswarup: In the ancient times, the rules of Vedas used to be observed in the daily life strictly. Before
five-thousands years the study of Vedas started to deteriorate and now most of the people have created their own paths. Therefore it has become very
difficult to apply the rules and regulations of Vedas in the beginning of the life, i.e., right from birth of body. However, nothing is impossible. You need not
come to me. You must continue your studies but you must perform daily havan with Gayatri mantra and must chant holy name of God-OM. For the vast knowledge
either you can come here for two-three days or better you may make contact with local Arya Samaj. It is enough in this life please.

Preetam: I have started yoga few days before under teaching of my friend who practices yoga daily. It is difficult for me to get up early in the
morning. Some time sleep becomes too deep that I remains unconscious of Time piece ring during sleep. Please suggest me something for geting up early in the
morning.

Swami Ramswarup: As per the Vedas and shastras, the teaching of Yoga Philosophy must be learnt from a learned Acharya. However, if your practice of yoga philosophy suits
you, then it is o.k. In the young age, one should take sound sleep for not more then 6 hours. So you can adjust the time yourself please. But always
remember-"Early to bed and early to rise makes man healthy, wealthy and wise."

Abhishek Raghuvanshi: At one point in your website you have written that even after attaining moksha souls have to take rebirth and at another place you have written
that hanumanji has attained salvation and will not take rebirth i am confused please reply
Swami Ramswarup: Yes, I could have mentioned whatever you have stated in your above question. But my statement could have been written according to the situation of the
question. I mean to say that sometimes it is mentioned that one must get salvation to kill rebirth etc. Because the period of availing salvation is too long
to say to kill rebirth, please. Otherwise it is fact that after availing the salvation period one has to take rebirth.

Preetam: I have started yoga. I am finding myself unable to concentrate on OM. whenever i tries to concentrate, my attention gets diverged to other things. what
should I do to concentrate?
Swami Ramswarup: You have started practice of yoga education. It is a great achievement. As regards concentration, it
will take long time but your day to day worship is counted and will never go wasted. Samveda Mantra 1501 clearly states that worship according to Vedas is
counted in next birth. Because Yam, Niyam are to be observed in life first then one has to obtain aasan siddhi i.e., if someone is practising aasan then one
day he will be able to sit on the aasan for a longer time i.e., one or two has continuously and comfortably. In such practice the aspirant will not
feel any pain or effect of heat/cold. It means, he has attained aasan siddhi. Then prannayam siddhi, then Pratyahar and after Pratyahar(i.e., control on senses,
perceptions and mind). One has to obtain Dharnna Siddhi i.e., concentration. I mean to say after attaining siddhi upto Pratyahaar then one is able to
concentrate properly. However, advises from an Acharya are regularly required in this process. So please do not worry about concentration and continue your yoga
practice and concentration on OM.

Sunil Kumar: What are ‘beej’ mantra, and what is their significance according to vedas. In fact, ‘OM’ is also a beej mantra as far as I know. But there are
many other beej mantras also for other devtas. I have seen the use of beej mantra before mahamritunjaya mantra, like OM HON, OM JOON, OM SAH etc.

Swami Ramswarup: At the beginning of the earth, knowledge of four Vedas emanates direct from God. So for authenticity of
each matter, proof of Vedas is required. I mean to say that Vedas preach to worship only one formless God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe. Worship of
Devi-Devtas has not been mentioned in Vedas. And no such Beej Mantras mentioned in your question are there in Vedas.

CD: I am a wife and mother. Having faced tremendous hardships earlier in life, I gravitated towards spirituality. Daily rituals have been a part of life
since my teenage years. However in the past year or so, I find my self veering away from daily rituals. Although I have stopped doing elaborate poojas and
rituals, I try to meditate and chant daily. How important are rituals in devotion? Is this distraction harmful?

Swami Ramswarup: :- At the beginning of the earth, knowledge of four Vedas emanates direct from God. So for authenticity of
each matter, proof of Vedas is required. I mean to say that Vedas preach to worship only one formless God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe. Worship of
Devi-Devtas has not been mentioned in Vedas. So please try to chant OM and Gayatri Mantra daily both times. Also please try to havan with Gayatri
Mantra daily. Then try to learn aasan, prannayam and meditation according to vedic philosophy from a local Acharya because I am away and can’t teach you. The
said worship will sure give you peace one day.

Ashish: I want to know about Tapa. Is it relevant in today’s times? And how would one go about it?
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. Nowadays, it is very essential to note that we should give proof of Vedas, six shastras, Upnishads, Geeta etc., to substantiate our spiritual views. Self made worship etc., which has no relevance according to Vedas and said holy books are not accepted by God, Rishis, Munis and learned dignitaries. The said Fundamental law is also mentioned in Yog shastra sutra 1/7. The matter of tapasya (Tapa) has also been mentioned in Vedas. Actually Vedas are self proof. Yajurveda Mantra 1/18 states “Bhrigunnam Angirasam tapasa tapyadhvam”. i.e., to burn the faults/sins do tapasya (tapa) which includes by breathing, i.e., Prannayam, by hard pious deeds according to Vedas and by gaining knowledge of Vedas by hard study etc.

Atharvaveda Mantra 12/5/1/2 too states that hard working, efforts and tapasya i.e., Dharmanushthan and Dharmacharan must be exercised in life and to do the same one must happily bear the mental and physical sufferings. The said all efforts etc., are called
Dharma and Tapa. Taitaryopnishad states about tapasya(Tapa) as under by which aspirant attains salvation.

“Ritam Tapaha Satyam Tapaha Shrutam Tapaha Shantam Tapo Damastapaha Shamas Tapo, Danam tapo, Yajyas Tapo Bhoor Bhuvaha Suvar Brahme Tadu pasvait Tapaha”. i.e., to accept, and speak the truth and to act accordingly is called Ritam Tapaha. Similarly, to listen to truth, to make efforts so as to possess serenity, calm and nature, to divert the senses and perceptions from vices such as injustice, laziness and to establish oneself in righteousness is called Tapa. Similarly to always establish the intellect in
righteousness is also Tapaha. To donate and to serve respectfully the complete learned of Vedas i.e., Yogi who knows the essence of Vedas and Yoga philosophy is called Danam tapaha. To worship God through Yajyen, to offer ghee in pious fire of havan is Yajyen Tapaha.

Yes, the said tapasya (Tapa) is relevant in the present time too. Actually, Fundamental law of God for spiritualism as well as for worldly affairs like science, air, water, creation etc., etc., are always unchangeable. For example:- Since the time of beginning of the earth, we remain alive by taking in O2, food, water etc. The said law of survival is unchangeable and is therefore relevant in present times as well. So is the case of tapasya. Therefore if we have changed the concept of above authentic tapasya and have made new worship at our own then new man made worship is not accepted by God.

So, if we are determined to do worship (Tapasya) in accordance with Vedas then only we will get peace and salvation otherwise our self-made worship will go in vain.

Prakash Lakhani: Thanks for your blessings and permission to use information of this Website for my book on spiritualism which is in progress.
Q1- Please tell me the names of SRISHTI MANVANTARS in sequence of their occurrence.
Q2- What are the seven Dweeps and seven Samudras?

Swami Ramswarup: (1) My blessings to you and you are always welcome please. It is also a happy news that your book is in progress as regards manvantar. I think I have
sent my book named Yajyen Karam Sarvashretha Ishwar Pooja in which description of Manvantar has been mentioned on page (64). If any other information is required you may write again. (2) As regards seven samudras and seven dweeps please intimate whether it is required for world point of new or our Aryavrat country point of view.

Alvin Lal: A) Question about worshipping Bhagwaan’s name? Why not? You mention that Bramha, Vishnu, mahesh are names of God, depending upon what god\’s doing at that time. i.e. Vishnu protector, Bramha creator. If these are just names of god, then what is wrong with worshipping a name of god? Is it not the same as worshipping god? B) Humans need visual to believe. God is invisible. Is that possibly why RAM was born, to show mankind how to follow on Vedas steps? C) When and in what ERA did Valmiki write his Ramayan? Before or during the actual ram’s birth? If before, how did he see the future? When and what ERA was it translated by Tulsidas? How come there are so many inaccuracies in what Tulsidas wrote e.g. birth of Luv and Kush? D) When Vyas Muni wrote the Vedas on Bhoj Patra for the first time, how did he choose what knowledge from which of the four Vedas Agni, Vayu, Aditya, and Angira goes where? i.e. How did it come to be four books and not five (for example), rigveda, samved, atharvaved, and yajurved? How was the original knowledge division/correlation done into four books? How was it categorised, if at all? Dhanyvad swamiji, kripa kar ke mere man ki jigyasa ko duur kare.

Swami Ramswarup: As stated in Rig-veda Mantra 1/164/46 (Ekam Sadrupa….) God is one but his names are several. Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh are His names. God has unlimited qualities. So, His names are also unlimited. God is Almighty and therefore needs no help in His administration of world. Some of His qualities are stated here that He is formless, omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient. He thus creates, nurses, destroys the universe alone. He needs no help being Almighty.

In the Vedas there is only one God but has so many names according to his qualities. For example His name is OM which means the God is the saviour of all. His name is SURYA (sun) i.e., sun has light but sun takes light from God because God has the supreme and Divine light of His own. His name is Chandrma (moon). Moon gives peace, calm, cold and charming light so the name of God is also Chandrma (moon) because God gives peace, calm etc., to those who worship etc., etc. we all people do not worship thirty three Goddesses as briefed above. Shiva means Kalyan i.e., happiness, welfare, good fortune and benediction etc., i.e., He who does welfare to human beings, He is Shiva and He is only one Almighty God said above. Vishnu means He who is everywhere and He is only one Almighty God.

Rig-Veda mantra 1/164/46 says,” EKAM SADRUPA VIPRAH BAHUDHA VADANTI,” i.e., EKAM SATAM means truth is one i.e., God is one but VIPRAH = Rishis, Munis who were/are learned of Vedas, BAHUDHA VADANTI utter so many names of God mentioned in Vedas like AGNIM YAMAM MATRISHVANAM AAHUHU meaning-the name of God are Agni, Yam, Matrishva and AAHUHU means “says”. In Yajurveda mantra 32/1 the names of God stated are AGNI, ADITYA, VAAYU, CHANDRMA, SHUKRAM, BRAHM, AAPAH, and PRAJAPATIHI ETC, ETC, ETC. I would explain the meaning of above all the names of God in brief due to shortage of time and space.

AGNI= agrini i.e., at the top or who comes first or who was before the creation and according to the said qualities, here the meaning of Agni pertains to God i.e., God is eternal and therefore exists always before the creation etc. that is why Rigveda mantra
1/1/1 says AGNIM Eedey – in the said mantra the meaning of Agni is God according to the qualities and situation. Meaning of Eedey means desire. Therefore the meaning of Agnim Eedey is , “I am desirous of God. Similarly YAM means controller of universe, Matrishva means air i.e., like the air God gives life to human beings. Aditya means which can not be broken into pieces, Chandrma means like moon God gives calm/peace, Shukram means Almighty, Braham means the superior/the biggest/the greatest etc., in the universe, Aapah means omnipresent, Prajapatihi means one who nurses the universe. So all the said meanings have the qualities of God and hence the name of God in the Vedas, but these are always uttered by Rishis Munis, who are learned of Vedas, as mentioned in Rig-Veda mantra quoted above. Therefore only Rishis Munis who are learned of Vedas, utter or tell the holy name of God mentioned in Vedas and those who do not know Vedas
can never utter the above holy names of God. But the said holy names, on the other hand, are even of surprising nature to them.

One thing more, the holy names of God in the Vedas are according to the nature, knowledge and deeds (God creates, nurses, destroys and controls the universe etc.) of Almighty God. Therefore those names are eternal and countless. So I am not able to mention here infinite names of Almighty God being beyond imagination, beyond calculation and beyond description etc., and we have to worship the said Almighty God whose description is in four Vedas, whose study has mostly been made stopped by the present saints who were against the Vedas and speak only charming stories etc., and never tells about Vedas. Whereas the description of Vedas is in Geeta, Ramayana, six shastras, Upnishads and all ancient holy books. The reason why the present (most of them) saints do not quote Vedas is that they do not study the Vedas, do not do Yajyen and do not obey Ashtang Yoga Philosophy mentioned in Vedas which was too adopted by
Shri Ram, Shri Krishna, Mata Sita, King Harishchandra, king Dashrath and their subjects/ public etc. Therefore we must be aware of false prophets.

(B) The birth of Sri Ram was under the usual law of creation. Therefore, God is formless and will always remain formless. God has nothing to do with visuals to believe in Him. He cannot change His eternal laws. Nowadays, it is very essential to note that we should
give proof of Vedas, six shastras, Upnishads, Geeta etc., to substantiate our spiritual views.

“Ritam Tapaha Satyam Tapaha Shrutam Tapaha Shantam Tapo Damastapaha Shamas Tapo, Danam tapo, Yajyas Tapo Bhoor Bhuvaha Suvar Brahme Tadu pasvait Tapaha”.
i.e., to accept, to speak the truth and to act accordingly is called Ritam Tapaha. Similarly, to listen to truth, to make efforts so as to possess serenity, calm and nature, to divert the senses and perceptions from vices such as injustice, laziness and to establish oneself in righteousness is called Tapa. Similarly to always establish the intellect in righteousness is also Tapaha. To donate and to serve respectfully the complete learned of Vedas i.e., Yogi who knows the essence of Vedas and Yoga philosophy is called Danam tapaha. To worship God through Yajyen, to offer ghee in pious fire of havan is Yajyen Tapaha. Yes, the said tapaha (Tapa) is relevant in the present time too. Actually, Fundamental law of God for spiritualism as well as for worldly affairs like science, air, water, creation etc., etc., are always unchangeable. For example: Since the time of beginning of the earth, we remain alive by taking in O2, food, water etc.

Please read the article/answer on God is formless.

(C) Valmiki Ramayan has been written one crore, eighty-one lakhs, forty-nine thousands and seventy years ago in treta yug. Valmikiji was contemporary to Ram i.e., Sri Ram and Valmikiji both were alive at the same time. So Valmikiji did not write it before Ram’s birth but wrote after Ram’s birth when both were alive. Tulsidas has not made hundered percent correct translation of Valmiki Ramayan. Tulsidasji has written in Ramayan about 300 years ago. Inaccuracies always occur when true knowledge of Vedas is oversighted and self made stories- history is being spread.

Raj Bhalla:In the human body, is there a specific place which can be called as the seat of soul and is there a specific place for God. My question is, where in the human body, soul and God reside?
Swami Ramswarup: Soul resides in left eye when we are awake, in throat while in dreams and in heart while in sound sleep, please. As regards God, He is everywhere but when a Yogi attains Asampragyat Samadhi, God is realized in the form of light/divine pleasure in heart.

Sachin: I asked you a question about the evilness of Sugreev (I hate him so
much) and you answered me in his favour. Now tell swami ji that Sugreev was an evil man because 1. When Lakshman ji came to him then he was with his own sister in law Tara who is like mother to him then 2. Tara was also evil and justified the extreme evil quality lust that it is good. 3. Marrying brothers wife is a norm for evil people in my family and culture we treat bhabhi as a direct form of mother and nothing else so there is no question of marrying her this law is for good and noble people. I give you an example Lakshman ji was a brahamachari and treated Sita ma like his mother and if someone will come to him and ask him that if Ramji will die then please marry Sita ma then he will be so angry that he will immediately kill that person. This is a characteristic of a pure celibate. Not like an extreme evil man like Sugriva who first killed his brother then married to his bhabhi and Tara was also very evil for destroying the love and honor of her dead husband and marrying with his husband’s murderer then justifying an extreme evil like lust. They both should be killed with electrocution according to me. Lord ram was guilty about what he did that is why he killed himself in the same ways Lord Krishna, by a hunter as he did to Bali. Now answer respected swami ji are you agreed with me?
Swami Ramswarup: Sri Hanumanji was a great brahamchari, warrior and spiritual dignitary. In Kishkindha kand, Valmikiji has written that Hanumanji was a learned of four Vedas. Sri Ram told Laxman that Oh! Laxman, Hanumanji is a minister of Vanar raj Sugreev. Sugreev has all good qualities and I (Ram) want to meet Sugreev but Sugreev’s minister Hanumanji has already come to us. At that time Sugreev told Sri Ram that He (Sugreev) has been deceived by Bali. Bali has exiled him from kingdom and he (Sugreev) is wandering here and there due to fear of Bali. Bali has the firm enemosity with him. Bali has abducted his wife Ruma. Now he was under shelter of Sri Ram. In turn Sri Ram told Sugreev that they were from then always friends and he (Sri Ram) will sure kill Bali who has forcefully taken his (Sugreev’s) wife.

When sugreev challenged Bali for dual then wife of Bali requested her husband to give up chemistry with his brother and to make friends with Sugreev, he being his younger brother. She also told that Bali should make friendship with Sri Ram. But in return, Bali roared bitterly that Sugreev is his enemy and he cannot oversight the challenge of enemy. He came out of the palace and while he was engaged in fighting with Sugreev, Sri Ram hidden behind tries hit him with an arrow and Bali fell down. While lying on the ground, Bali then saw Sri Ram and Laxman. Bali then uttered insulting words against Sri Ram. In return, Sri Ram told Bali that you are not capable to utter such bad words for me. Oh! Bali listen, I am from Ikshavaku Clan who are ruling over all over the world. They are alone competent to punish culprits. Oh! Bali you have broken the code of morality, justice and you are indulged in sensuality. Oh! Bali, the elder brother who follows the religious path is like the father and his younger brother is like his son. You have forcefully taken the wife of Sugreev and have been using her as your own wife i.e., why I have killed you. Sugreev is still alive. His wife Ruma is like your son’s wife. But you are doing sin by treating Ruma as your wife. Therefore he who indulges in sensuality with sister or younger brother’s wife then he is deserves to be killed. Oh! bali when a king gives punishment to the culprit then the culprit is liberated from the sin. Secondly, if any thief or sinner goes to the king and confesses his sins then either the king punishes him or not, then the culprit is also liberated from the sins. But in case, the king does not punish him then king is involved in sins to be faced. So hey! Bali we do not repent. You have been killed in furtherance of justice. Then Bali repented for his sins and prayed to Sri Ram to forgive him for using insulting words against Sri Ram.

Then on the death point, Bali told Sugreev that due to the result of his previous lives’ bad deeds, he behaved badly with him. So, Oh! Sugreev please do not consider me as defaulter. You take this kingdom then Sugreev too repented on the death of his elder brother. At the proper time, Hanumanji reminded Sugreev to do the pious deed of Sri Ram to find out whereabouts of Sita. In return, Sugreev decided to do pious deed immediately. He asked his chief of the army, named Neel, to gather the army from all the
sites.

Learned told the view that there is scope of repentance and elevation for killer of Brahmin, Drinkered, Thief and violator of a vow but there is no scope of repentance or elevation for a thankless/ungrateful person. When Laxman ji entered the palace of Sugreev and started using hard words to Sugreev, then Tara told Laxman that Oh! Laxman! Sugreev is a king of vanaars. So you should have not used such hard words in respect of a king. Oh! Brave Laxman, neither Sugreev is thankless nor a deceitful person or cruel. Sugreev has spent several nights in sorrows and now he has been enjoying like a king. In this process, he has not been able to keep the knowledge of the time like Rishi Vishwamitraji. Rishi Vishwamitraji spent ten years with an Apsara (A beautiful lady stated to be living in swarg) Maneka. Vishwamitraji too did not keep watch on the time then what to talk about ordinary person. Vishwamitraji counted those ten years equal to one day. Oh! Laxman, Sugreev has already arranged for finding out site. He has asked his chief of army to gather all warriors from all over the sites and the warriors may be available here today. Then Laxman asked Sugreev to forgive him for those hard words used against Sugreev. So such true statement in Valmiki Ramayan reveals that Sugreev was not having so much bad character which could not be excused.

And rightly a great warrior, Brahamchari Haumanji was minister of Sugreev. If Sugreev had been a sinner or of bad character then Hanumanji could not have served him. In between, Sri Ram has also told that secret of religion, morality and pious deeds is tough to be understood easily by an ordinary person.

Sri Ram was a complete Yogi and equal to God. Similarly, Mata Sita was a vidushi dignitary. We can say that Sri Ram and Sita were the dignitaries who had attained the highest stage of spiritualism i.e., realization of God etc., whereas Sugreev who was also a gentle king was not a Yogi or had not attained salvation. But on the other hand, Sugreev had been ruling over vanaars justifiably. Otherwise neither Sri Ram nor Laxman could forgive him in the matter of Tara and drinking etc. Even Laxman when entered the palace of king Sugreev and used hard language, asked for forgiveness for the same then and there, after listening the brief from Tara. When Sri Ram, Laxman and Hanumanji did not see any fault of Sugreev, his deeds, his character etc., then I think we must follow
Sri Ram, Laxman and Hanumanji.

Bhabhi is a respected status but Bali did more crime when he used younger brother Sugreev’s wife for sensuality. Moreover, to be a wife of Sugreev was a matter of acceptance by Tara which can never be compared to any tapasvani or tapasvi. Tara declared to finish her life but Sri Ram/Laxman advised her not to do so. Sri Ram told that
your son Angad will be declared as prince of the kingdom.

On one side you are telling Sri Ram as lord and on the other hand, you are telling him as a guilty person. Actually, two of a trade do not go together. I have already clarified above about the killing of Bali by Sri Ram.

Raj Bhalla: Can you please translate Rigveda 6/9/4?
Swami Ramswarup: Rigveda mantra 6/9/4 states that God as well as soul reside within human body.

AYAM HOTA PRATHMAH PASHYATEMAMIDAM JYOTIRAMRITAM
MARTYESHU.
AYAM SA JAJYEN DHRUVA AA NISHATTOAMRITAYASTANVA VARDHMANAHA.

Words Meaning:- Oh! Learned (Pashyat) see (imam) this – God, who is (Dhruvaha) firm- unchangeable cannot be deshaped, cannot be broken into pieces(Nishataha) exists (Prathamaha) the first (Hota) giver (Ayam) this and (Martyeshu) in the destructible bodies (Idam) this-God (Amritam) immortal (Jyotihi) self-enlightened God and (Ayam) this (Amartayahatanva) by human body (Vardhmanaha) seems to be increasing (aa) from all sides(Jajyen) appears (saha) he is soul.

Meaning:- Oh! Learned see this God, who is firm -unchangeable, can not be deshaped, cannot be broken into pieces and exists everywhere. He is the first giver of all matters to us. The God resides in the destructible/perishable bodies. The God who is immortal is like a light of sun i.e., He is self-enlightened. Secondly, the immortal soul also resides in the human body, appears to be increasing from all sides in the shape of human body.

Idea:- In the human body there are two live matters. One is God and second is soul. Both are eternal and self-existing. Of the two one is soul who possesses limited knowledge, and occupies limited place, known when he takes body otherwise remains unknown, faces the result of previous lives deeds- pious deeds or sins.

Second is Almighty, Omnipresent God having unlimited qualities. He is firm, can’t be deshaped, knows all about the universe etc., never faces the result of any deeds. Human body is meant to realize soul and God.

Hemant Pansare: I have very very little time left but want to utilize the best out of it so i thought of meditating lords name i wanted advice from you regarding the same what should be best possible measure when the main thing i.e. time is not left out . I want to utilise each & every second before the soul leaves this nashvar shareer but there are lot of obstacles which r coming in my way therefore I request you to please suggest me some measures how to get rid of these vikars & what exactly should be done?
Swami Ramswarup: My Dear Hemant, I have not understood that why you have little time left of your invaluable life. I would request you to kindly intimate the reason
thereof. We have been blessed by God with this human body to live long. However, you have very well thought about the jaap of holy name of God. But now a days it is a problem that which name must be remembered, repeated. In this connection, I would like to say that God has told His pious name in four Vedas only. Therefore, God has told in Yajurveda Mantra 40/15 that O! aspirant jaap of name of God as Om. When you feel
that death has to come immediately. You also remember your all good or bad deeds which you have done in your present life. You also remember yourself that you
are not body but you are soul. You are immortal, the purest and alive. You also remember at that time that your body will be burnt on pyre. So, you may sit both time to do the above tapasya. You must chant OM twenty four hour in your breathing. When you inhale then you chant in mind OO.. And when you release breathe then you chant in the mind MM.. Then it will be OM. If you are able to do havan then you can do havan from Gayatri Mantra as many time you can. Otherwise, the chanting of OM is sufficient please. The said tapasya will give you maximum peace as it is according to Vedas. My blessings are always with you and I have been waiting eagerly a reply from you by return email. I am always ready for you if I can be of any use to you. The obstacles will be over by doing the said tapasya. Yet, I pray God for a long, happy life for you. Please read the article on Names of God and God is Formless.

Rahul: I need a clarification. This is only for historical interest. In Valmiki Ramayan, 23rd Sarga it is mentioned about Indra who committed adultery with Ahalya. You once said that many people have name Indra. So the mentioned person was a normal
person whose name was Indra. I do understand that he was no king of gods etc as such puranic stories are false. But in the shloka he is mentioned as “Sachipati”. Now Sachi is wife of Indra. A question arises which Indra? It is a known fact that there was a yogi named Indra who was king of devas. As Krishna himself says I am indra among devas. And as far as my knowledge is considered Sachi was wife of this yogi Indra. Then how you said that Indra mentioned in Ramayan is a normal man as many people have name Indra? What I mean to say is that he is not just a person but is YOGI INDRA as he is called “SACHIPATI”. Now the question arises how can a yogi do such bad deed? In commentary of Jagadishwarandn ji nothing is explained in this shloka. This is why i am consulting you please. Please clarify.
Swami Ramswarup: Yes, you are right that yogi cannot do such a drastic sin. A real yogi like Sri Krishna, Vyas Muni etc., knows about the laws of Vedas. In Vedas, it is
said that even to see another lady or wife of anybody with bad intension, is a sin. Secondly, God only accepts a man as Rishi, Muni, Yogi when becomes the purest and is unable to do sins. So, Indra had been a simple man. He was a husband of Sachi but sure he was not a yogi or devta. Two of a trade seldom agree.

Nila: If the Vedas says that ‘then after 13 days the soul takes another body’ -then why we go on praying for the soul get peace.. Swamiji I say this because on 30th November my father die with 92 years old, after is death on 10,11,12,13 days my brothers and my sister call a bhraman and have made ceremonies and a havan, and after this almost everyday I dream with my father and my sister says me to pray for is atma (soul) get peace. Why we have do this if the soul takes another body. I think this as per Vedas is not correct I’m right? Swamiji everyday I read your site and my husband says when we have more money and in our life everything it is ok we will travel to Kangra and meet you, do you agree? I have already visited the website around your area of ashram and it seems is a beautiful place. Swamiji keep blessing me and my family and as you have said in my life after begin chanting Gayatri mantra and Gaytri Chalissa the things begin to be better.
Swami Ramswarup: Atharvaveda Mantra 11/1/19 states that if a member of the family pray God while performing Yajyen then the departed soul is blessed. After taking rebirth the departed soul gets another body but soul remains same and soul is therefore blessed. Such Yajyen or havan must be performed properly with Ved mantras. Your views to come here are appreciated as Vedas always tell to go to the saint who knows Vedas and yoga’s philosophy. It gives lot of blessings of God as well as of the saint. Here always boarding and lodging is free. My blessings are always with you and your family for a long, happy life. If you can understand hindi speaking then we can send CDs on my
spiritual speech. Again my blessings to you all my daughter.

Rahul: I am following brahmacharya as advised by you in your book. Every day I meditate by chanting gayatri mantra twice in morning and evening. Some times it becomes night as I have classes in evening. Some days I have to be awake till late night for studying and as a result i tend to wake up by 9 am, 10am. and then I pray by 11 am etc. Though I want to I am not in proper environment to do yajna. Why I am writing to you is that sometimes I feel I am very depressed. Some internal feeling I don’t know why. Why is it like this? How can I remove this depressed feeling? I am a pure vegetarian and I dont consume onion, garlic, rajmah, ladies finger etc. Also I believe only in true almighty God as said in Vedas. Please help me.
Swami Ramswarup: You work hard which is appreciated but you awake late in morning it is not good. I have several times stated on this site that everybody must awake in the morning before Sun otherwise it counts to build bad luck so please try to awake before Sunrise. If you cannot do Yajyen then you can simply recite Vedmantra. After some time God will sure make good environment to do havan daily. Depression is not good. You must be brave. You chant Gayatri Mantra and God will sure help you in every step of your life. One has to do hard work but result is awarded by God. So never, think about the result. Sometime depression is due to the result of previous lives deeds, which must be faced happily. The learned person never feels about depression or result of deeds etc. We have come here to face result of previous lives deeds. If we worship one Almighty God and do pious deeds then it does not mean that our previous bad deeds will be killed immediately. It takes time. However, any pious deeds or worship never goes in vain so please be brave and go ahead always. God always helps good people like you.

Sumit: Please tell me the methods to improve concentration and memory of mind.
Swami Ramswarup: Veda Adhyayan, daily yag/havan name jaap and Ashtang Yoga practice under an Acharya (Guru who knows Vedas and yoga philosophy) and complete Brahamcharya are essential to awake kundalini chakra please.Concentration and memory is improved by maintaining Brahamcharya. Concentration is not made on mind, but mind has to be concentrated on particular point or subject etc. It requires practice of Yam, niyam, asan, pranayaam, pratyahar, dharnna and dhayan then one attains
Samadhi. In this path guidance of a spiritual master who knows Vedas and ashtang yoga philosophy is needed. Holy name jaap of God helps a lot. I have written a book on yoga which can be sent on receipt of your postal address. However personal guidance as stated is essential.

Rahul: You in your replies to some one recently mentioned that the sins we do in previous life decides what we get in present life and for the sins we do in present life we get result in next birth. SO DOES THAT MEAN THAT IF A PERSON DOES MANY MANY BAD DEEDS IN PRESENT LIFE, HE WILL NOT SUFFER AT ALL IN PRESENT LIFE DUE TO THESE BAD DEEDS? Please clarify. 2. AGAIN IF I
DO GOOD DEEDS LIKE CHANTING GAYATRI MANTRA DOING DAILY STUIDY OF VEDIC BOOKS ETC THEN WONT IT NEGATE OUR PREVIOUS LIFE’s BAD DEEDS? 3. Recently I read an interview on a Vedic website in which Swami Dayanand Saraswati had told a person that MOKSHA is not permanent. He was saying that the souls after a stipulated time get rebirth. This is because it is not possible that for finite good karmas he will get merriment for unlimited amount of time. As this
contradicts justice. He also said that if it is like this then liberated souls will increase in number and it will get crowded. SO since these are Dayanand ji’s views it has to be Vedic. But I don’t remember you saying anything of this sort about moksha. Please clarify if this is true.
Swami Ramswarup: In Shantiparv of Mahabharat, Bheesham states- The secret of deeds is really very deep and difficult to understand. I have also been mentioning the said matter in the website yet several questions still arise. I am happy that doubt must be put to be solved.

Your views to face the result of karmas is almost correct. However, please recollect that after death sanchit karmas are to be faced at the time of taking next human body. Now, Prarabdh karmas are taken from sanchit karmas to be faced in whole present life and
balance of sanchit karmas still remains to be faced in next lives. If a person doesnot worship God properly while doing present life’s deeds (Kriya Maan Karmas) then he faces the result of prarabdh karmas (Good or Bad both) exactly and number of present deeds (Kriya Mann Karma) are added in his sanchit karmas at the time of his death. Now when the soul will take next birth, his prarabdh is made after taking karmas from sanchit karmas. Now question arises, what is the use of worship. Vedas tell the present lives’ deeds, if are pious, according to Vedas, Shastras, Holy religious path then, the prarabdh deeds/karmas which have to be faced in present life by the soul, which may be full of sorrows etc., are burnt. Therefore, the deeds which have been burnt by real worship have not to be faced. If a person does many many bad deeds or good deeds in present life, the total said karmas will be added in sanchit karmas, as told above and thus will not be faced in present life. Good deeds, chanting Gayatri Mantra, doing daily study of Vedic books etc., is a worship according to Vedas. So naturally, the bad deeds to be faced in present life will be burnt according to the states of worship (Minimum or Maximum). Views of swami Dayanand are always based on Vedas so are hundred percent correct. I have also
clarified the same in my so many preaches here. So the pious deeds of real worship gives result in the present life.

Renu: The horoscope of my and my partner are not matching. I am mangalik, and nadi dosha is there. After knowing the fact of our mismatching of our horoscope, our parents are very upset and they are insisting us not to marry. Any puja, sadhana is there to solve this problem I will be grateful to you if you solve my problem.
Swami Ramswarup: The darkness of night is only over when sun rises. Similarly, illusion is over when we gain knowledge of Vedas because in Rigveda, it is said that knowledge of Vedas is like a sunlight which kills the illusion. Knowledge of Vedas emanates direct from God. So the knowledge of Vedas is immortal, eternal like
God and takes care of the aspirants like God. This fact mostly is not known by the public due to lack of listening of Vedas from learned Acharya of Vedas and hence mostly the parvachan of nowadays does not tally with the knowledge of Vedas. Therefore, self made
worship and illusion spreads all over.

Vedas contain the knowledge of all the matters of the universe right from straw to Brahma. The matters mentioned in the Vedas or the truth mentioned in the Vedas is always authentic. Therefore nowadays as well as in the ancient times, the self-made path or the views against the Vedas spread by any king or any person like Ravann, Kansa,
Duryodhan, Hirannyakashyap, Shroopnakha and their subordinates etc., had been spreading militancy, injustice, dictatorship and great damage to the public. Because their self made views were totally against the Vedas. Similarly, the mangalik or mangal
dosh matter has not been mentioned in Vedas. So, one should never be afraid of the same being unauthentic. So, you may go ahead, neglecting mangal dosh issue. To know the truth our ancient Rishis have advised totally the matter with Vedas. Since in Vedas there is no mention of word manglik so you need not to worry. The people who are not manglik are also suffering from the problems mentioned by normal married people. Shri
Ram married Sita after breaking the bow. And nobody saw Shri Ram’s teva or Anything. In Mahabharat Yudhisthir married Draupadi by piercing arrow in the eye of a fish (the eye was pierced by Arjuna the younger brother of Yudhisthir) and there was no teva and manglik etc. Savitri married Satyavan at her own wish without any teva or manglik etc. Pandu married Kunti and Madri without teva or manglik etc. Teva means janam patri made by pandit i.e., horoscope.

According to Vedas these are not required and are self-made story. So please do not worry about Manglik etc. Future is based on pious deeds, hard working towards a right path and God helps those who help themselves.

SC: 1) Angulimala was a cruel dacoit. He was killed many peoples and collected their fingers. A huge sin was done by him. But it is known that he done this, to pay gurudakshina to his Guru. By his own wish he did not done that crime and you told that paying gurudakshina to Guru is a duty of disciple. If he was not done this crime then also he was wrong for not doing his duty.In this way the sin of killing people was done by the Guru.Swamiji what do you think about it. In your opinion what should Angulimala do when Guru asked such type Gurudakshina. 2) Swamiji you accept that Hiranykashypu was lived on this earth. I want to know that how was Hiranykashp’s life ended. Was it by Narasimha, Then how was Narasimha borned. And when Holika sitted on pyre with
Prahlad. Then, only Holika was burned but Prahlad not dead. Why not Prahlad was not burned?
Swami Ramswarup: No, please. Anguliwala did not commit crime to give guru dekshina to his guru. Actually, it is said that due to lack of knowledge of Vedas, the true
definition of guru is mostly not known. Nowadays, he who wears saffron or white clothes or grows his hair and moustache or remains in langoti only or takes addiction like sulfa, afeem, bhang, cigrattes etc., or makes several luxurious ashrams where huge crowds of
people gather etc., is called guru.

But in Vedas, definition of guru is different. Rigveda mandal 10 states at the beginning of the earth, in non-sexual creation, knowledge of four Vedas direct from Almighty God in the heart of four Rishis named Agni, Vayu, Aditya(Surya), Angira. This process is eternal and is automatically repeated after final destruction in new creation.

Based on the above Rigveda Mantras, Patanjali Rishi in his Yog shastra sutra 1/26 states-
“Sa Eshaha Poorvesham Api Guru” i.e., Almighty God is the first guru of our fore fathers i.e., above quoted Four rishis. God thus gives the knowledge of Vedas once to the said Rishis and thereafter the knowledge of four Vedas is attained by others who become Rishis and have been giving the eternal knowledge of Vedas uptil now. The said process is also eternal. The God thus makes a tradition of giving knowledge through Vedas. So He who gives the knowledge of Vedas, which contains science, and matters (Gyan Kand), Deeds (Karma kand) and worship(upasana kand) and the knowledge right from straw to Brahma, is rightly considered Guru, Acharya, Sanyasi, Yati, Sant etc., being authentic according to Vedas.

Pious deeds like Yajyen, Ashtang Yoga Practice, Jap, Tapasya, fulfillment of moral duties for family, society and nation are mentioned in Vedas. The said knowledge to be implemented in the life is given by Guru/Acharya to his disciples. In Yajyen, there is no scope of violence etc. So how a learned guru/Acharya will accept the views of story of Anguliwala- that he used to commit the crimes like cutting fingers of innocent to offer guru dakshina to his guru?

(2):- Narsingh Avtar is not possible according to Vedas, please. Nature plays its part. The human body whether dead or alive when places on pyre, will sure be burnt and turned into ashes until scientific action is involved to protect the body. So the purannas’ story sometimes can be considered only to give or spread the eternal Vedic knowledge. But the stories can’t be accepted completely if the same is not scientific. That is why, I have been writing on E-mail, in books and preaching that everybody must listen to Vedas knowledge to finish illusion.

Harinarayan: What we feel that sometimes our existence is in human body, sometimes in mind and sometimes as quite independent. Can we feel our existence (attachment) simultaneously in all? I think we only can enjoy all (completely) if we can utilize all simultaneously.
Swami Ramswarup: Actually the meaning of existence is the realization of oneself. We all are souls who reside within human body. The existence of soul while being awake is in left eye, while in dream, in throat and while in sound sleep it is in heart. If you mean attachment as existence then attachment is a result of illusion and its effect is imprinted in chitta. According to own choice, the attachment is with the selected matters like family, gold, assets, friends etc., etc. By doing worship according to Vedas, illusion can be got over and therefore attachment also gets over and the person feels peace and happiness all times.

Pooja: How to get rid of sins? Why people suffer and how to get rid of suffering?
Swami Ramswarup: To kill the sins, regular advice of a learned Acharya of Vedas is essential. Vedas tell that jaap, tapasya, Yajyen, name jaap of God and Ashtang Yoga practice makes an aspirant to attain Samadhi wherein the aspirant realizes God. At this juncture, all the sins done in previous lives are burnt please. So is the case of sufferings/sorrows/tensions /diseases etc. Vedas tell that only prayer and fasts do not solve the problems, please. The above quoted worship is required.

Preeti: I am really grateful to you that you have answered my query, but I want to tell you that I really work hard to get good grades but sometimes the results I get are below my expectation. Why is it so?
Swami Ramswarup: Vedas as well as Bhagwad Gita always tell that we have to work hard selflessly but result is awarded by God according to Vedic law. So, hard working never goes in vain and is counted in the life keeping aside the result, what so ever. So, please never become nervous if the result is not according to your expectation. God tells in Vedas, try, try and try again. So be brave and go ahead please. Rest is all in the hands of God.

Jagdish: I request you to please let me know about my health.
Swami Ramswarup: You know, God helps those who help themselves. So to maintain good health good diet, daily exercises and morning walk to take plenty of boiled water daily and medical advice is essential. Your worship will do nothing in this matter please. However, when you will take care of your health as quoted above, then sure God will help you.

Surendra: I want to do Gayatri Mala Jaap for 1,008 times a day. I am finding it difficult.
Swami Ramswarup: It is very difficult to do Gayatri Jaap or any jaap 1000’s of time daily. However, silent jaap is far better then reciting the same. So, please try to do
jaap in mind without chanting. Actually jaap by Prannayam is more beneficial but it should learnt from Acharya personally. When you will be able to do jaap silently, then it may continue whole day by breathing system, even while discharging moral duties daily. In such practice then mala is not required.
