Chandra Shekhar: What is the role of Vasudhaiv Kutumbkam In Education?
Swami Ram Swarup: In education, the role is this that every student be taught to promote international brotherhood, giving the detailed description of “Vasudev Kutumbukam” i.e., the whole universe is considered one family and we are its members and must live together, must eat together, must enjoy together. There must not be any ravages of hatred.

Madhubela: Why does everything goes wrong when we thing it should be right?
Swami Ram Swarup: Because man proposes God disposes. Actually, it is fundamental law of Vedas/God that we are only entitled to do hard work to get our pious motto. But result is always awarded by God, so we must never be puzzled, demoralized or nervous if we do not get good result of our hard-working. But one thing is clear that our hard-working if is pious then would never go in vain and will give us the best result at the right time.

B S: Despite everything fine in my life I feel myself upset. Most of the time remain in sadness and unhappy as something is missing in my life. I feel myself unable to find that missing thing. What is that? I feel myself so energetic that I can do anything, nothing is impossible for me, is a child’s play, but at the same time something happens and I go into sadness. I am very sensitive. My sadness drags me to the level that I feel this world meaningless and empty and I should either finish myself or be alone at some far place. Swamiji what should I do to come out of all these things? Please guide me and show me the path. Thanks.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Your hard working to earn money to look after the family is according to Vedas and is therefore highly appreciated, please. Please, continue. Nowadays, I think belief in God or to go to temples/satsang is not enough because deep study of the Vedas which emanates direct from God and several holy paths reveals that the worship advised by the Almighty God in Vedas differs. It has been a true tradition that whatever you do that must tally with Vedas. So, one worship is the worship which Almighty God Himself advises in Vedas i.e., God made and some worships are those which have not been advised by God but are self-made, since, the proof of such worship is not seen in Vedas. Vedas conclude that self-made bhakti is not ever-lasting and will not give peace to the worshipper. So, I would advise you to chant Gayatri mantra with its meaning daily and also must do havan both times with Gayatri mantra in the beginning. The soul resides within body and needs Brahmaudanam says Atharvaveda kand 4 sukta 34. So, we must listen to Vedas, do daily havan and chant Gayatri mantra sitting on asan.
Please, start the day by chanting Gayatri mantra in the early morning sitting on suitable asan like Sukhasan, Siddhasan or Padmasan etc. concentrate on the point between two eyebrows which is called “Agyachakra”. The Gayatri mantra should be chanted along with its meaning both times. Also, please try to perform daily hawan even with Gayatri mantra. Then try to study any of my books daily and put up question if any.

After 15 days chant the Gayatri mantra only thrice thereafter do the name jaap of Almighty God-“Om”. The jaap must be done daily by heart and not orally.

One thing is clear that God is formless so His shape can’t be concentrated upon . So, how our ancient and the present Rishis did meditation. Our eternal philosophy of Vedas states that Almighty God is pleased when we do His stuti. ‘Stuti’ is a vedic Sanskrit word, its meaning is “to praise” i.e., to utter the words for a dignitary hundred percent based on His qualities. I mean to say that according to the dignitary, one has to utter hundred percent truth for Him. To elaborate, one should describe the dignitary as he actually is. For example- Rigveda mantra 10/21/1 states that as we adopt the fire to perform yajyen/havan so we should adopt the stuti of Almighty God to know Him. The conclusion of all the statements of Vedas appears in Yog shastra sutra 3/1 wherein Rishi Patanjali states that “Concentrate on any part of the body but never outside the body, which is called “Dharna” i.e., sixth stage of ashtang Yoga. It is further clarified by the Rishi that the best place of concentration in the body is that between two eyebrows which is called agyachakra otherwise Nasagrey or heart. Then question arises that what we should do while practicing to concentrate between the eyebrows etc. Rishi states that deep thinking/meditation of the holy name of God i.e., Om must be done/continued. It means when we will concentrate on the place between two eyebrows etc., then we have to make deep thinking /meditation continuously of the holy name of God-Om.

If you do not want to leave the present worship then please go ahead but include the Vedic worship stated above as well to obtain permanent peace. Human-life is invaluable so one must never think about suicide or to go away to escape from discharging the moral duties. This all will be a great sin. I am sure that if you follow the above path, you will get peace. Please try to study my books Vedas- A Divine light Part I, II and III, Patanjal Yog Darshan I and II. A List of books is also available on the website.

Gourav Kumar: I want to now about Rajo Gunn,. Tamo Gunn and Sato Gunn in Hindi.
Swami Ram Swarup: Raj, Tam and Satva are the three qualities of prakriti. When the said gunnas remain idle dormant i.e., do not work, then combination of these three gunnas(qualities) in dormant stage is called prakriti and this time is called “final destruction” of the universe. When an appropriate time comes, the creation is to be started again. Then the power of God works in the above three gunnas i.e., in the prakriti and immediately the creation starts. Rajo gunn is a sign of sensuousness etc., Tamo gunn signifies laziness and sato gunn signifies ego, pride. Our human body is also made of the said three gunnas.

Vedas tell that there are three eternal/immortal matters- first: Almighty God, second: souls, third: prakriti. Almighty God creates, nurses and destroys the universe and again creates it. The said process of creation is eternal/immortal/everlasting. Almighty God creates the universe from prakriti. When the raj, tam and satva gunnas of prakriti remain idle (dormant condition/inactive) then creation does not take place. At an appropriate time, a power of Almighty God acts in prakriti (i.e., in Raj, tam and satva gunnas). Immediately the process of creation starts and the first matter of prakriti is made which is called –Mahat i.e., mind; from Mahat- ahankar is made, from ahankar panch (5) tan matrayein, from panch (5) tanmatrayein, panch (5) mahabhoot are created. From panch mahabhoot, the entire matter of universe i.e., Sun, Moon air, water , our bodies, bodies of other living beings etc., are created. The whole creation is thus created from prakriti and remains still (in active) like a statue. This creation is called non-sexual creation. In the said creation, the young human bodies are created which are neither old nor babies. Then by the power of God, in the said bodies, breathing system (prann vaayu) starts operating. At last, God enters into the universe and immediately all the humans and other living beings become alive and start functioning. Similarly, the non-alive matters like Sun, moon, earth, air, water etc., start their respective functions.

However, I have written a book named Patanjal Yog Darshan –I in hindi, jisme rajo, Tamo and sato Gunn ke barey mein samjhaya gaya hai. Iski Keemat Rs.131/- hai. Woh pardien. Agar nahin padte to yeh prashna dobaara bhejo mein short mein bataane ki koshish karoonga.

Gourav Kumar: DAS PAP kon kon se kai
Swami Ram Swarup: Paap to kai hai par aap kaun se dus paap jananaa chahte hai. Kripa kar ke batain.
