Shriram: Pranam Swamiji, I want to know what is the relation between The five main Air which you have explained in one of your answers. They are Prana,Vayan,Udyan, Apan & Saman. We Brahimin before we start our lunch or dinner at home we also pronounce as Pranaysawa, Apanyaswa, Vayanayaswa, Udanyaswa, Samanayaswa and Brahamneyaswhaa by swallowing 2/3 pieces of cooked rice with ghee. Whether this is also called as hawana. This we do after our thread ceremony every day. Kindly explain.
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. In our human body, the prann, Apan, saman, udaan and vyan do their respective tasks. Prann wanders from mouth to heart. It helps in pronunciation and generates hunger and thurst etc. Saman wanders from heart to naval. It helps to rotate the blood in body and passing the urine, stool etc. Apan wanders from naval to feet, to pass the urine and stool etc. Udan wanders in throat to throw out the vomit etc. Vyan wanders in whole of the body, helps to make movement in the nervous system etc.
Pranayswaha etc., are the names of Almighty God and are not vital airs. However, the method you have told is not proper method of performing havan. Yajyen/havan is always performed with vedic mantras and correct method is used and can be learnt from a local purohit of Arya Samaj mandir.

Me Odisha se hun yahan hamare prabhu jagannath ko bahut bhakti karte h. aap k anusar kisi murti ko upasana karna thik nahi to kya ham jagannath ko puja karna thik h. Yeh mera apna personal vichaar nahi hai apitu yeh to charon vedon mein kaha hai ki Murti pooja isliye nahin karnee chahiye kyunki jo sarvashaktimaan aur jag ke kann-kann mein samaya Parmeshwar sada janam-marann se rahit hai. Isliye weh avtar nahin le sakta. Isliye uski murti bhee nahin banayee ja sakti kyunki weh nirakaar hai. Han! Apni marzi se jo chahe weh kisi kee bhee pooja kare parantu vedon mein murti pooja ka vidhaan nahin hai.
Gourve: Sir main bachpan se bahut patla hu kya main mota ho pauga?
Swami Ramswarup: Sehut ke liye motey patle ka sawaal nahin hai, agar insaan ka Brahmachraya theek hai, bimari se door hai purusharthi hai, mehnut karte thakta nahin hai, apnee umar ke hisaab se bhaar utha kar chal sakta hai toh sub kuch theek hai. Agar aisa nahin hai toh aapko doctor kee salaah lenee chahiye.
Rozana exercise, morning walk aur achha bhojan, subah doodh ke saath do kele (bananas) khane se bhi weight bad jaata hai.
