Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you, beti. Thank you, beti. Punnya to sadaa vyaktigat hee hota hai. Lekin grihasth ashram mein jub pati-patni punnyavaan karma kar rahein hain, ved marg par chal rahe hain to phalswarup dono ko hee to punnya prapt hota hai. Lekin patni yadi paap karma kar rahee hai aur koi pati bhi paap karma kar raha hai to donon ko iska phal God alag-2 deta hai, individually.

Jo aapne likha yeh sub tirath sthan man-made hain. Vedon mein inka koi varnnan nahi hai. Vedon mein tirath us sthan ko kaha jahan koi ved evam yog vidya ka gyata tapasvi rehta hai, wahan Yajyen-shalayein hain, nitya ved mantron se Yajyen hote hain. Yogabhyaas seekhne walon ko yogabhyaas seekhaya jaata hai. Vedadhyayan hota hai. Aisee jagah jaakar jigyasu Vedic gyan ko acharann mein laakar is sansaar rup bhavsagar se tar jaata hai arthat moksha paa leta hai. Isliye tapasviyon ke niwaas sthaan ko vedon mein teerath kaha hai. Pooree srishti rachna, rajogunn, tamogunn, satogunn aadi vikaar yukta prakriti ke kannon se rachee gayee hai. Isliye pratyek sthan par kaam, krodh, lobh aadi vikaar hain, jabki yadi vidwaan sachmuch mein vedvidya ka gyata, samadhist purush hai to wahan in teen gunnon ka prabhaav nahi hota. Jab vedon mein Devi-devtaoon kee pooja ka vidhaan hee nahi hai tub yeh nishchit hai ki jo bhi inkee pooja karta hai, usey ved vidya ka gyan nahi hai aur jisey ved vidya ka gyan hai to weh inkee pooja kyun karega?
Upwaas ka vidhan vedon mein nahi hai, yeh Valmiki Ramayan ke pravachan mein bhi clear kar diya gaya hai. Vedant darshan Vyasmuniji ne likha hai jo ved evam ashtang yog vidya ke gyata they. Jo yeh keh rahe hain ki vedant shastra mein Aham Brahma Asmi ka arth main swayam God hoon, to yeh arth ved virudh hai, yeh galat arth Vyasmuniji ne nahi likha hai, swarthwash log apne banaye raston ke anusaar arth karte hain. Jo arth Rishiyon ne kiye hain, weh nahi kar sakte.

Three eternal and everlasting matters:-

Several persons explain its meaning that there is only on God and nothing else i.e., except God there is nothing. They tell that there is neither prakriti nor soul and not even the creation which is being seen. Learned of Vedas do not accept it.

Eternal knowledge of Vedas which emanates direct from God only preaches “Traitvad”. In Traitwad, there exist three matters:

(1) God(Ishwar)
(2) Souls( Jeev)
(3) Prakriti(Prakriti)

God and souls are alive whereas Prakriti is non-alive matter.

From Prakriti, all the matters of universe are created. But neither from God nor soul any matter is created. Soul can never be God being unchangeable and God can also never be soul being unchangeable. Soul due to the attraction towards prakriti is indulged in illusion and forgets his original form of immortal peace, purity etc. and has to face the birth and death again and again.

But Almighty being the commander of the souls and prakriti, is never attracted towards prakriti. He always remains purified. So, God cannot forget his original form and is never indulged in any kind of illusion. Therefore, everything like tree, tube light, stone, electric fan are made of prakriti and hence can never be God.

So, the meaning of Eko Brahma Dweetya na Asti will be, there is only one God equivalent to whom no other God exists. Besides this, Yajurveda mantra 27/36 states-‘Na Jataha Na janishyate’ i.e., there is only one Formless, Almighty, immortal God and equivalent to this, neither any other God was born, nor shall be born.

“AHAM BRAHMA ASMI”

There are two kinds of Vedanta. Vedanta shastra written by Vyas Muni which is according to Vedas. Second is new Vedanta which says that soul and everything is God. And they say, “AHAM BRAHM ASMI”. So new Vedanta is not according to Vedas please because Vedas say that there are three eternal and immortal truths— Almighty God, souls and prakriti.

SHASTRAS

There are six darshans in Indians- i.e., Yoga Darshan (Shastra), Sankhya Darshan, Vedant Darshan, Vaisheshik Darshan, Mimansa Darshan written by ancient Rishis who were learned of Vedas and Ashtang Yoga philosophy. Some people say that shastras are against each other or Sankhya shastra spreads atheism which is totally false. Such people are those who never studied Vedas, the eternal/immortal knowledge which emanates direct from God, at the time of creation. All darshans i.e., shastras contain the knowledge of Vedas. However, each Darshan has its one main subject only, for example- Yoga shastra states about yoga philosophy, Sankhya shastra states about Prakriti, Vedanta shastra states about God etc. But each shastra has little bit explanation of its own subject and full details still are in Vedas.

Beti, anubhuti ke Vishay mein koi bhi baat nahi kee jaa sakti iska arth vedon ke gyan ke baare mein jo likha uska arth magazine mein kuchh samjhaya hai magazine pad lena. Guru kripa se hee ved gayn prapt hota hai.
Ashirwad beti.

Hitesh: I am 21 year old currently in my family business. Since in business I do not get much time and I find Vedas quite interesting and knowledgable. I wish to know little bit about Vedas that can help me in future and clear my some doubts too. I live in Delhi and unfortunately there are no Vedic Gurus in Delhi or even in Haryana who can teach me basics of Vedas or some of important verses.
Swami Ram Swarup: Beta I would advise you to first read some Vedic literature to enable you to enter into vedic knowledge. List is appended below:-
