Vishal: Namaste Guruji, Is there any existence of Black magic? There are many books on Tantra, going to Shamshan in the middle of night, sacrifice of animals to please the demons deity. Recently I was reading a Article of Dr. Ali Sina too who said Black Magic exist he writes: Article is long but very informative please write your view on this (details provided).
Swami Ram Swarup: Namasteji. No, please. In vedas, black magic does not exist. So, learned of Vedas do not accept it. Yes, there may be so many books on tantras but those are man written whereas eternal knowledge of Vedas emanates directly from Almighty God. So we have to decide whether we obey preach of God in Vedas or accept views of man written books. However, I would like to mention the views of Shathpath Brahmin Granth wherein it is stated that man speaks lies whereas learned of Vedas, a Rishi who has realized God always tells truth.
