Swami Ram Swarup: Lome-Vilome prannayam, Bahyantar and Abhyantar prannayam are useful to correct nervous disorder. But every prannayam must be learnt from a learned acharya first.

Chintan: Why “Veda” is called Veda?
Swami Ram Swarup: There are about 2,000 dhatus (root word) in Sanskrit grammar. From which the words are made accordingly. “Vid Gyane” Dhatu makes the word “Ved”, the meaning of which is knowledge . So, Veda contains three eternal education /knowledge.

Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. In Vedas, no proper noun has been used, so name of any saint, Rishi-Muni etc., has not been mentioned therein. Vedas only give knowledge. So, the shloka mentioned by you has not been written in Vedas, please.
