In previous question asked by me regarding whether can I wear OM name locket, ring, pendant and bracelet, you told that I can wear OM name ornament made of gold. Now I want to know whether I can wear OM name ring, pendant, locket and bracelet made up of silver, bronze, copper, brass, iron or from any other ornaments other than gold. And whether can I wear Rubber band on my hand on which OM name is engraved, which is the dearest name of God. Please guide.

I want to know that only by wearing OM name locket, ring, pendant or bracelet on my hand or around neck or on finger whether paramatma protect me from bad people or from failure in life? Whether wearing OM name have any mental or health benefits? Please guide.
Swami Ram Swarup: No please God will not protect you. However, if you take advice from a learned acharya of Vedas to remember the name of God, performing daily agnihotr etc., then sure God would protect you.
