Three types of Deeds

Ashish: Mera future kaisa hoga?
Swami Ram Swarup: Naukari, bhavishya ka jeeven, khushiyan aadi, yeh sab pichle karmon ke achche burey phal par adahrit hain lekin is jeevan ke achchey karma jesey Ishwar ki bhakti, Yajyen, vidwan acharya ke paas jaakar vedon ke aur Yogabhyas aadi ki shiksha lena, apney faraz adaa karna, ityadi, pichley burey karmon ko bhi nasht kar detey hain aur insaan khud apna achcha bhavishya mehnat karke banaa sakta hai, isleye utho aagey bado mehnat karo aur apney bhavishya ka khud nirmaan karo.

Three types of Deeds

There are three types of deeds (karmas) – sanchit, prarabhadh and kriyamann. Suppose one soul has to take birth (body). It means he has to face total number of deeds of his all previous lives and these deeds are called sanchit karmas but sanchit deeds are huge/unlimited and cannot be faced in one life. So the karmas which can be faced in one life are called prarabhadh (luck-destiny). So God has not made our luck at His own but Almighty God has taken the deeds which we have already done.

Yajurveda mantra 7/48 clarifies that human being is free to do any deed good or bad but God only awards the result. Now the balance deeds from sanchit deeds will be counted in the next life. Now the deeds which we do in our day today present life are called kriyamann.

If we do pious deeds according to Vedas, shastras and holy books and based on pious preaches of Rishi, Muni/learned saints then our all sanchit deeds are burnt and we can get salvation. Human beings are free in the matter of doing deeds good or bad. But result will be awarded by God. So we must worship and do pious deeds under guidance of a learned Guru. One should go always ahead for hard working, pious deeds, worship to make future bright himself. One should always work hard towards a right path.

Worship does not mean that we are free to discharge only our family duties, education, etc., but rather it is a sin. We have to get progress in both way at a time i.e., spiritualism and worldly progress i.e., science, education, duties towards family etc. God creates the universe according to His eternal law framed in Vedas which are always unchangeable and unchallengeable. So we have to follow the law of God always to get long happy life.

Anonymous: Married person in relationship with someone else.
Swami Ram Swarup: This is a clear cut sin for those who love opposite gender being married. Even an unmarried boy or girl if gives heart to opposite gender before marriage, it is a sin, say the Vedas. So immediately you must stop this action of yours. Immediate break the contact.

Mithun: I have got a rudraksh. Whether I can were it on Maha Shivratri? Tell also relevant energizing mantra to it please.
Swami Ram Swarup:
Ans. The act of wearing rudraksh, has not been mentioned in Vedas, please. Vedas tell only worship of formless God. However, a person can wear rudraksh at his own accord. I also paste here my article on wearing gems.

Wearing Gems
Yajurveda mantra 7/48 and similar types of several mantras of Vedas state that we, the human beings are free to do pious deeds or sins. But result thereof is always awarded by Almighty God in the shape of happiness and sorrows respectively. Everybody knows that Almighty God is supreme judge, so how can a man, woman or a gem change the result of the deeds of a person. For example- God has given punishment to a person due to his sins of previous lives and person has to face sorrows, accident etc., then how can an astrologer or gem change the award of Almighty God.

Actually, due to lack of the knowledge of Vedas, fundamental law of nature/God has now become unknown to the innocent public, with the result, several man made worships/rules etc., have been forced on the innocent public and in this way, the public is being divested of money and happiness. Our country has been a land of rishis and munis who have never deceived the people. Instead, they serve the people whole heartedly and maintain peace. Yes, somebody can claim that he has been benefited by wearing gem, present astrology and by following the path of false saints etc. But, it is not a reality, say Vedas. Actually, what happens is that the benefit achieved by such people is due to the result given by God to them based on their pious deeds of previous lives. Vedas –shastras further tell that even in the absence of adoption of the said false path, the benefit would have inevitably accrued to the person. Otherwise several people adopt the false path, which is against the Vedas, but only few get the said benefit. If the path had been true according to Vedas then everyone could receive the benefit. Our pious human body has been blessed by the God to achieve the true path stated in Vedas by which final liberation is attained.

Future is based on present pious deeds. If anyone wants to make his future bright, he is required to do hard working, pious deeds to maintain honesty, firm decision and daily worship of God. Yajurveda mantra 7/48 states that human beings are free to do pious deeds or sins but result is awarded by God in the shape of pleasure, long, happy life and sorrows respectively. So why to worry about the future. In fact we should be concerned about our present pious deeds which will make our future bright. It is a fundamental law of Vedas that present pious deeds alongwith eternal worship of God based on Vedas destroys the result of previous lives’ sins which have to be borne in our future or present life.

So instead of wasting our energy in baseless thoughts or worries about future, we should channelize our energy in doing pious deeds in our present time.
