Rakesh Kumar: Ram Anant Hain.
Swami Ram Swarup: Rigveda mandal 10, sukta 129 and even all four Vedas state that there are unlimited divine qualities in formless, Almighty God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe and again creates. But the said Almighty God always remains one and only one, immortal and unchangeable as also said in Rigveda 6/50/14 .

Ajay Gargi: Please tell about Shikha.

Ajay Gargi: Please tell about Shikha.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. The exact point of the shikha cannot be explained. It is taught personally but some hints are there. The shikha can be placed on the point of the skull of the forebrain right above thalamus. However, the peace is only attained by doing pious deeds based on Vedas. One must do daily hawan even with Gayatri mantra both times, must also recite holy name of God ‘Om’ within heart both times. Further one must also learn yoga philosophy and do daily asan, Prannayam and meditation daily for the said knowledge he must contact to a learned acharya, who knows Vedas and Ashtang Yoga Philosophy. You may contact any Arya Samaj Mandir where they will guide about a learned acharya

Sagar: Do Vedas mention about Vishnu?
swami Ram Swarup: Yes in Yajurveda state “VISHNUHU (omnipresent God) PARMAM (the supreme) PADAM (stage) SADA (always) PASHYANTI (see) SURYOHO (yogi)”.
Meaning: The Yogi who studied Vedas and did hard practice of ashtang Yoga Philosophy and with the result who attained Dharm –megh Samadhi he only see i.e., realises God.

Vishnu means –Omnipresent God. There are unlimited qualities of God and accordingly there are unlimited names of formless, God who creates, nurses and destroys the universe.

For example- Vishnu is the name of Almighty God containing the quality of being omnipresent. Brahm/Brahmaa is also the name of formless God containing the quality of being supreme i.e., there is no one even equivalent to God.

Mahesh is the name of formless God who contains the quality of being supreme.

Om:- is the name of God containing the unlimited qualities, one of which is He is the saviour of entire universe and so on. Therefore God is one but His names are unlimited as stated above.

Siddharth Bajaj: You said that pranayama should be done at the presence of sunlight ,then at 4 a.m there is no sunlight. So how it could be the best time to do pranayama?
Swami Ram Swarup: 4.00 a.m. is called ushakal which means the rays of Sun start emitting from sun and everybody observes the same in the sky. On the other hand, there is no objection in doing Prannayam at night as well to be done by Sanyasi. Reason behind is that family holder is always busy to discharge his duties and cannot do Prannayam in the night whereas sanyasi has entire time to do Prannayam. In addition , Prannayam done in the sunlight is more beneficial because time of ushakal contains the fresh air which enters the human body doing pranayaam and effects the lungs, heart, veins etc., to clean the same.

Ashok: Namaste, I am 53 years old, studied several books related with Vedic Dharma. After completing family responsibilities want to lead yogic life. Please guide me a suitable place for preparation in this direction.
Swami Ram Swarup: Vedas state that if family is settled and a man crosses fifty years of age then he must take Vanprasth ashram to continue his daily worship based on Vedas. If he has reached seventy-five years of age, he can go to the place where his ‘acharya’ who knows Vedic philosophy can give further advice etc.

If he crosses seventy-five years of age then he may take complete sanyaas. If during his present, previous he has been listening Vedas, doing Yajyen/hawan, name jaap of God and practice of Ashtang yoga and some signs of asceticism have originated in his heart then also he should take advice from his acharya who knows Vedic philosophy.

As regards place, a secluded (lonely) place is required under the advice of acharya. You may intimate your bio-data stating your age, if possible, to me for further advice.
