NARASHANSAHA

Vedas have no individual names, please and has no any story even. There are three types of preach— knowledge( science in Rigveda), deeds (type of all moral duties in yajurveda ) and Upasana( worship in Saamveda) and medical science including extra detailed knowledge of God in Atharvaveda. This may be known that when we study mathematics then we study the fundamental of formula etc., and no personal name or any story. Vedas is a knowledge emanates direct from God at the time of unsexual creation. I paste here my article on Vedas for your information, please.

Such question was also sent to me on this web site. The gentle man mentioned Atharvaved mantra number 20/127/ 1 quoting word NARASHANSA, he said that its meaning is Respected Hazrat Muhammad Sahib, who will take avtar. The meaning of Narashansa is he who is adorable by all human beings. This meaning is told by an ancient Muni Yaska, in his holy Granth Nirukta 9/6, he says in Sanskrit, “ YEN NARAH PRASHANSYANTE SAH NARASHANSO MANTRAH”, ITS MEANING IS THAT by whom the men are praised that mantra is called Narashansa mantra. The devta of this Atharvaveda mantra NARASHANSA. Accordingly the meaning in the above mantra of word NARASHANSA is adorable God, who is always praised by human beings. This pious word NARASHANSA has been quoted in other Vedas also, for example Rigveda mantra 1/18/9 is

NARASHANSAM SUDHRISHTMAM APASHYAM SA PRATHASTAMAM.

DIVO NA SADMAMAKHSAM.

The meaning is, “ I (na) like the light from sun light emitting heavenly bodies, (sadmamkhsam) in all human beings and other living creatures reside, (Sa prathastamam) Who is omnipresent with all the biggest space and other maters, (sudrishtamam) Who holds the creration well, (narashansam)who is adorable/praised by all human beings, i.e., God., (apashyam) is realized by me. So is the meaning of above quoted mantra which had already been explained by me on this site. However, it is to be noted that God is always realized by controlling all senses, perceptions and mind by virtue of daily eternal worship and hard practice of ashtang yoga.

Narashansha

Literal meaning of pundit is “ a learned person i.e., learned of Vedas. Yajurveda mantra 31/11 states “ BRAHMANNAHA (who knows Vedas and Almighty, formless God) MUKHAM ASEET i.e., Brahmin is the most superior, most honourable in the world. So a pundit is synonymous to Brahmin.

Such dignitary is also called “NARASHANSHAHA”, in Vedas Narashansha means “he who is adorable amongst human beings.” But the greatest quality of pundit/Brahmin is that he is a learned of Vedas and yoga philosophy which is integral part of Vedas. Learned of Vedas means, the all the three education, i.e., knowledge, deeds and worship, have been learnt and are in action of the Brahmin because mere study does not serve the purpose. So Brahmin is a pundit, Yogi, saint, Narashansha, priest, rishi, muni, tapsvi etc. He has done hard study of Vedas and shastras, Upanishads etc., has practised yoga philosophy and has control on five senses, five perceptions and mind. Yajurveda mantra 33/78 states that such pundit/ Brahmin desires that the public must be rich and happy. He preaches Vedas and makes the aspirants able to do havan to get peace. Yajurveda mantra 27/43 states that the said Brahmin/pundit protects the public to remain away from the sins and to achieve the target of human life i.e., to attain Arth, dharma, Kaam, Moksh, by preaching Vedas. Yajurveda mantra 27/39 states that such Brahmin pundit has wonderful qualities, deeds and wonderful nature. He is a real friend of public. He keeps away all the aspirants from bad deeds/sins and makes them able to do only pious deeds. He is most respectful.

So there are several qualities of Brahmin/ pundit elaborated in Vedas which cannot be mentioned here, being lengthy. Manusmriti shloka 1/88 also states that the duties of Brahmin/pundit is to do hard study of Vedas, to perform Yajyen and enable the public to do Yajyen and thus to donate the education.

Such tapsvees i.e., Brahmin/pundit never become greedy and they can not be professional. Due to the effect of Vedas, study and ashtang yoga practice and control on senses, perceptions and mind. Real religion is to know the Vedas and thereafter to discharge duties towards family, society and nation faithfully.

Is mantra mein Narashansha ka arth hai- manushyon mein prashansa wala purush. Bhaav hai ki jo manushya ati gunnvan hai, uskee prashansa sub jagah hotee hai aur weh adarniya hai.

Ramakrishnan: What is the meaning of the subhashitam: “Na Devo Vidyate Kashte Na Pashane Na Mrun Maye; Bhave Hi Vidyate Devaha Tasmat Bhavo Hi Karanam”

Swami Ram Swarup: As you have written the following shloka in hindi language- Sthiti…. , so the English version of the shloka quoted by you, may please be written in hindi language.
