Chintan: Why "Veda" is called Veda?
Swami Ramswarup: There are about 2,000 dhatus (root word) in Sanskrit grammar. From which the words are made accordingly. “Vid Gyane” Dhatu makes the word “Ved”, the meaning of which is knowledge . So, Veda contains three eternal education /knowledge.

D: Guru ji charan sparsh. If i do daily havan as you have explained and with havan, I read Japuji Sahib, which Guru Nanak ji wrote and about qualities and prayer of formless God, is it ok? Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. Yes, after finishing hawan, you can read Japuji Sahib and jaap of Vahe Guru , then and there, please.

D: Sri Nanak gureng vareng saklaath heythoo. Heitha samasth jagathaa va veithee kaetheng. Meaning: "For the preaching of religious ways and the earning of good karma, there will manifest Guru Nanak from the clan of the Veithees." Is it written in Ved?
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. In Vedas, no proper noun has been used, so name of any saint, Rishi-Muni etc., has not been mentioned therein. Vedas only give knowledge. So, the shloka mentioned by you has not been written in Vedas, please.

Swami Ramswarup: I advise you to follow medical treatment regularly. Precautions advised by medical authorities should be strictly adhered to. You must get up early in the morning for long morning walk and light exercises. Take plenty of water, daily water must be cooled after boiling. I also paste a formula to be taken daily which will give you most benefit.

CHIRETTA-KIRETTA = 1gm
GYOL = 4gm
AZWAIN = 6gm

Neha: Jai Shri Krishna Guruji, I happen to have stumbled upon your site while i was searching for some information on mantra therapy, I read your question answer section and wanted you to explain me about these couple of queries:
a). Do ill-thoughts bring bad karma?
b). Iif somebody wishes to harm one by resorting to evil thoughts and deeds, how can we overcome that?

Rashmi Sahu: Pranaam, Guru ji, 14 Manavantar = 1 Kalp.How many such kalpas are there and in one day of brahma or night of brahma how many such kalpas are taken into account. Can you name total kalpas.Further one creation = 14 manvantar, after that pralay will happen, am I correct? Guruji what is the importance of these 33 jad devtas in Vedas?

Swami Ramswarup: Naukari, bhavishya ka jeeven, khushiyan aadi, yeh sab pichle karmon ke achche burey phal par adahrit hain lekin is jeevan ke achchey karma jesey Ishwar ki bhakti, Yajyen, vidwan acharya ke paas jaakar vedon ke aur Yogabhyas aadi ki shiksha lena, apney faraz adaa karna, ityadi, pichley burey karmon ko bhi nasht kar detey hain aur insaan khud apna achcha bhavishya mehnat karke banaa sakta hai, isleye utho aagey bado mehnat karo aur apney bhavishya ka khud nirmaan karo.

Three types of Deeds

Mahesh: Do you not agree with any of the Purans and Vyasjis other works?
Swami Ramswarup: Vyas muniji has written only 10,000 shlokas of Mahabharat epic, but nowadays Mahabharat epic contains about 1,20,000 shlokas , i.e., 1,10,000 shlokas have been added by others which are not authentic. Secondly Vyas muniji has written Vedanta Shastra. According to the learned persons no other literature has been written by Vyas muniji.
