L R K: Namaste Swamiji During my swadhayas I always come across the terms man, buddhi,chit and anthakaran. Sometimes I find it confusing and it hiders my understanding. Can you please explain the difference(s) between them in detail and how they are related to ekaagrataha of the man. Dhanyavaad Guruji Namaste.
Swami Ramswarup: Namaste ji. There are two karnnas of our body-

Bahya karanna (outer) and antahahkarann (inner). Bahyakaranna consists of five senses (gyan indriyan), five karma indriyan.

Antahakarann consists of mann, buddhi, chitta and ahankar.

Gyan indriyan i.e., eyes, nose, ears, tongue and skin collect the outer matter of the world and send it to mann. Mann send the same to buddhi and buddhi sends it to atma i.e., soul. Then soul gives order to buddhi, buddhi to mann, mann to the concerned indriyan.

For example- I suddenly see a snake. Immediately the matter goes to mann. Mann through buddhi sends information to atma. Atma orders either to run away from the place or to kill the snake with a stick or stone etc., which is available. The order through mann reaches to leg and the man runs away. If order is to kill, then it reaches the hands etc., to kill the snake.

Prakash: My respectful Namaskar to Swamiji, I have read the detailed reply to my Querries with great interest and my sinccere thanks to you sir. Since I was interested in such inquiries as 1) what is Hinduism to call a person Hindu (RELIGION) ? In my openion those who believe in (1) Four Vedas and One Gog.(2) Immortality of Soul.(3) Rebirth as per Karma.(4) Freedom of Will.
(II) Veds have two parts viz Karma Kand and GYAN (Vedanta)--- all togather Six Darshans. Jainism is about 3000 years old and Buddhism ....... is about 2600 years old.Valmik Ramayan is a story of a King Rama and Tulsi's Manas is a Tretise on complete Vedanta woven in the glorifies tail of Shri Rama.
(iii) Mahabharat war was fought in the then Aryavart not in entire India and Vedvyas wrote it with srimad Geeta in it for the remaining humanity. Alexsander from Greece invated north India about 2400 years ago then India was invatd by white Huns till 6th cencury and them Islamic invation started till valley of Sindh (Turkish people pronounce S(sa) as Ha(ha) and sindh became HIND....they (muslims,then later British) ruled India fonearly one thousand years.

J: Namastey Guruji Maharaj, Charan Sparsh. I have a question, Maharaj. Can a yogi who has achieved the state of Dharmamegh Samadhi be ill treated/killed by a any normal person as he is free to do what he desires to do and increase his paps until the yogi wishes to give up his body. My question is that if at all we reach a stage in this creation the bodies of all learnt persons are delibrately removed by these asurs, can the creation sustain till the end of balance 7 Manavantars.

Kiran: Namaste yoga acharya charna sparsh, ALBERT EINSTIEN famous mathematical physicist found at new formula E=MC^2, where C denotes the speed of light which is 1,86,000 miles per second . He even put a small board in his lab with words "THOU ART THAT" Which veda had already told as "TATTVAM ASI" . Regarding this matter what is your opinion? My second question is that every time you are using mathematical word "ARAB" whether is it Veda word?
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you for a long, happy life. Science is always respected because it is already mentioned in Vedas. Tatvam asi is not a ved mantra but it is mentioned in Chchandogya upnishad. Its meaning is the atma (God) of all universe is also your God but its meaning is not this that you are God. The Vedic word is “Kharab” not “Arab”.

Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. Your views are heart-touching and highly appreciated, may God fulfill your pious desires. Shastras state that one should be benevolent/kind towards helpless, poor, needy, pitiable. But, nowadays, it has become very difficult to know the real needy (deen) person since begging has become a profession nowadays. The gang kidnaps the children and puts them into begging for the ulterior motives of the gang. So, we must not give money to beggar but may help actual needy/pitiable person.

So, you both especially your wife should preach your son by narrating charming stories full of moral values, science, pious deeds, hard working, honesty and spiritualism. When time would come to get education from school then you will have to see that the best school is selected. So especially Vedic spiritual education about above quoted matters at home and good school education outside home, when is gained by a child, he sure becomes learned who accomplishes himself at all spheres.

Also, be careful that your child never indulges in bad society. You are also advised to read some of my spiritual books and listen to my spiritual Cds along with spiritual songs and preach in this regard and then to educate your child, the contents of which would sure make pious effect on the heart of child and would enable him to become a responsible person.

Tips for Pregnancy

It is said in four Vedas that "Mother is the creator of child's future." It is in her hands that how she builds her child's future by adopting good spiritual preaches, which are all mentioned in four Vedas. Some of the aforesaid preaches are written here.

Always be cheerful, wear pious ornaments, wear quite light coloured clothes and not dark, should keep peace in her mind, think welfare of others, should serve her Acharya/Guru (who knows Vedas), avoid such things which can cause anxiety to her.

Harish: What is difference between chinta and chintan?
Swami Ramswarup: Chinta creates problems whereas chintan generates knowledge. Due to lack of knowledge of Vedas, which includes Science, form of pious deeds and difference between pious deeds and sins and eternal worship of God; a person indulges in illusion and hence harbours chinta whereas knowledge [ science, karmas and worship] inspires us for chintan (deep consideration/meditate on right path) and the person becomes learned.

Rajnesh: Rigved ka sanchipt itihas kya hai?

RDS: Ram Ram Can I do PIND DAAN for myself while I am still alive?
Swami Ramswarup: Pind daan is not mentioned in Vedas, so being against Vedas, learned do not accept it. You see, all the organs of dead body are burnt, then how a soul without mouth can eat. So, Vedas tell that we have to serve our alive parents, learned atithi and learned acharya of Vedas and Yoga Philosophy to gain knowledge.

The person who renders such services, he thus holds one part of Yajyen.

Second part is Sangatikarann i.e., services to learned acharya and to satisfy him with service to gain Vedic knowledge in return. Third part is daan i.e., donation to authentic/right person.

We’ve been blessed with human body to perform Yajyen which is the best worship of God.

RPK: I have seen bhasya allegedly by Shankaracharya and he has written things against women and vegetarian food.
Swami Ramswarup: My blessings to you. It is the fundamental law of Vedas that the act which is in conformity with Vedas, is pious act otherwise a sin. So, the statement, as told by you related to Shankaracharya is totally against the Vedas, please and is not accepted by learneds. However, this will be a separate question that whether the statements actually relate to Adi Guru Shankaracharya or have been added in his granth.

Vedas’ Philosophy

God has made universe and blessed us human body to do pious deeds only. He has not made any heaven or hell. All have to face the result of their deeds, good or bad here only, even by taking rebirth. (Rigveda mantra 10/135/1,2)

God has not only made universe but has also given knowledge of four Vedas where answers to your and everyone’s questions have been given. There are four Vedas:

1. Rig Veda - gives knowledge of science, matter of the universe like sun, moon, air body etc., etc.

2. Yajurveda - gives knowledge of all the deeds and duties to be performed by men or women, students, leaders, king, agriculturist etc., etc., etc.
