time to Gurudwara, some to temple, some time annath ashram, some time kushtashram , some time some hospital, is this ok as I have watching in TV show that some guru was saying that you should send this daswand to me than it will be ok or other? waiting for your reply. regards
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Meaning of Daswand in Sikhism is ten percent
of total earning is to be donated. In Vedas, there is a great importance of Daan (donation). Vedas tell that donate in Yajyen, needy persons and right place i.e., who are authorized to take Daan (donation). For this, you will have to listen to Vedic preach.
L: My elder daughter is married since 7 years. she along with her husband and inlaws went to manasa sarovar yatra and passed away after parikrama due to high altitude and lack of oxygen. She is only 29 years old. There was no indication in her horoscope. Actually they told she has 68 years of life span. Is this akal mrityu? What are the reasons? Please explain me.
Swami Ram Swarup: It is sad that some family member has passed away during mansarovar yatra. But from your question, it is not clear as to who passed away and whether your daughter and her husband is alive. However, present astrology , horoscope/teva , kaal sarp dosh akal mrityu etc., matters have not been mentioned in Vedas, shastras, upnishads and other holy books written by Rishi- Munis. It is a fundamental law that truth is established with ved mantras i.e., if our views or views of any book tally with any ved mantra then it is true otherwise not.
So, when above quoted matter is not mentioned in Vedas and other spiritual granths cited above then learned do not accept it, being unauthentic. Actually, as per Rigveda mantra 10/135/1, 2, 3 we’ve been blessed with the human body to face the result of our previous lives’ deeds – good and bad, in the shape of happiness and sorrows. When we’ve to face bad deeds then naturally everybody says that it is our bad luck but mostly people do not think that God has done justice and the sorrows/problems given by God is the result of our said deeds. Further, the ved mantras state that if a person makes contact with learned acharya of Vedas and yoga philosophy and becomes able to gain knowledge of Vedas and obey preach of Vedas then the effect of bad deeds is automatically destroyed and future becomes bright. Secondly, God helps those who help themselves. So, hardworking, devotion and dedication also makes future bright. So, any sorrows like death etc., and happiness, is the result of our previous lives’ deeds and nothing else. So, you should make your mind strong to face the situation. I pray to God that He may give peace to the departed soul.
