Aniket: I want to ask something about Krishna ji. How many wives krishna ji had? I know she has had only one wife in Mahabartha…but I need some verses from Mahabhratha which shows he had only one wife. Actually when Muslims ask me give me the proof where it is written that he has only one wife. I use to be silent at that time. Please help me. Thanks.
Swami Ram Swarup: My blessings to you. Yes, please. He had only one wife named Rukmanni. Somewhere it is also said that he had second wife named Satyabhama but it does not
seem to be authentic. In Saupatiparv chapter 6, Sri Krishna Maharaj state to Ashvathama, the son of Dronnacharya, that Oh Brahmin! I (Sri Krishna Maharaj) did hard tapasya, keeping Brahamcharya for 12 years, to get my son Pradyumna from my wife Rukmanni Devi, who is tapasvinee like me. This shows that Sri Krishna Maharaj had only one wife named Rukmanni, if he had more wives then statement for the same, could’ve sure been given by Vyasmuniji in his Mahabharat epic.

Manushya paap ya punnya karma karne ke liye azad hai – jo marzi karey parantu us karma ka phal achchha ya bura arthat sukh ya dukh Ishwar khud deita hai. Isliye yeh kehna mushkil hai ki kis karma ka kaunsa phal Ishwar deiga. Kyunki aisa kuchh vedon mein nahin kahah gaya gai.
Han!bus itna kaha hai ki paap karma ka phal dukh aur punnya ka phal sukh milta hai isliye kiya hua karma kabhi nishphal nahin hota arthat kiye hue karma ka phal zaroor milta hai.

Swami Ram Swarup: Sorry, there is no process to tell about the health in Vedas. Whatever pandit states based on teva or astrology is not accepted by learned, being against the Vedas. However, Vedas state that based on previous lives’ deeds, all human beings face the result thereof, in the shape of happiness and sorrows (involving health also) to destroy the effect of previous lives’ bad deeds. Vedas state to do worship of God.
